💭MILLY POV💭
I gently napped at his injury with the tissue,trying to clean off the blood and feeling very angry that he had brought the flowers to me
Why would he?i thought to myself
Did he think that because i had forgiven him and i had let him see lisa,i would go back to him
He should think again,have been hurt once by him,i wont let him hurt me again
“Oouch!!!”he said
I stareed at him and saw that i had been injuring him more
“Am sorry “i said as i pulled my hand away
“You are angry?”he said starring at me
“What makes you think so”i said as i cleaned up the things i used to clean the scratch
“Because of what i did”he said
“Lets just forget about it and i think its best if you go home now,mom is really angry “she said
“I know but i didnt come for her,i came for you”he said moving close to me
“Then its best you leave because there wont be anything”i said walking off
Suddenly i was yanked towards him and he held me close to him
“What are you doing ?”i said
“Trying to show you that i mean business”he said and before i could stop him,he k-ssed me
I wanted to feel disgusted but no,i wasnt feeling that way
It was like those days when he courted me and k-ssed me,making me feel like the most treasured person in his life
Reluctantly i found myself k-ssing him back,i dont know why i had to feel this when he had caused me so much pain
He kept on k-ssing me until i came back to my senses and pushed him away
“what is that for?”i said
“Am sorry ,i just couldnt hold back anymore”he said as he walked towards me
“No stay away”i said
“I just wanted to express my feeling,i still want you milly,you and my child”he said
“And do you think that after what i went through with you,i could be with a man again “i said
“Your a beautiful lady mi…..”
“Oh so now am beautiful ,that wasnt what you said to me on that day”i said remebering his harsh words
“That was me being stupid and i never really meant it”he said
“Well i believed it okay,every little time i dressed up,just to go to lisa school party or to go to lily little get together,i remember those cruel words from and i just lose my self esteem and crawl back to my shell,if it hasdnt been for lily,i wouldnt be dressed this way and you certainly wouldnt be k-ssing me or calling me beautiful”i said
“You were always beautuful to me and if i had called you plain then it was because revenge clouded my mind”
“Well your revenge also made me who i am today and that is a woman who wouldnt let any guy get close to her”
“You should give your heart the chance to love again”he said
“For what?for it to get broken and shattered,well no,the lesson i learnt from you is enough to make me keep myself till am old and grey”i said
“You are really going to do that?”
“Of course ,for the past four years have been single and alone,so it wouldnt be a big thing”i said
“But it will be to me,because i caused it,you arent living your life because of what i made you go through”
“Dont bother yourself about that,for four years have been living my life and i never died “i said
“I do worry milly,not just because i caused you to be this way but because i want you to be happy and if possible maybe that happiness could be with me”he said
“You know it cant be with you”i said
“But it can and am sure that it will and i wont rest until have gotten a yes from you”
“That wont ever happen,so i suggest you stop”i said
“Believe me when i say this,giving up isnt my forte”he said smiling at me

“Am so glad that you stayed “lily said as we both sat down at the balcony of her home
“And am.glad i did”i said
“Where is Max ?”
“Well he went out to meet one of his investors or something and am glad he did,”
“Why say that lily”
“Because we girls can chat feeely,now tell me what have been going on in your life”she said
And just then a car stopped in front of the house
And max was the first to come out followed with lucas
Its been two days sincd have seen him now and just seeing him again made me feel strange
And remebering his last words still made me feel nervous
“Why is here”lily said to her husband
“He is my new business partner”max said
And i starred at lucas to see him starring at me
“I wont rest until have gotten a yes from you”
His words kept ringing in my head and i knew then and there that him being max partner is only because he wants to get close to me
And i dont want that or do i…….

“Must you really be his business partner” i heard max wife lily say
I had no choice but to be max business partner and be close to milly once again
After the ordeal at her house,she has been avoiding me and each time i go to her house to search for her they give me one excuse or another
So i thought of a way and its by being around lily and max,milly closest friend
“Look i know milly and lucas have a issue but lucas and i are business partners and so can we please make be cordial to each other”max said
“But max…..”
“Its okay lily,max is right ,they are only doing business”milly said as she drew lily to seat back
I couldnt help noticing milly and how she looked in her lovely dress ,with her hair down,i only wish she could accept me
“Common lucas lets go in”max said pulling me in
I was going in when i stopped beside her
“Did you bring lisa?”i said
“No i didnt”she said without looking at me
Sadly i went in with max,if she had brought lisa then i would have got the chance to talk to her
“Dont worry lucas,in due time,she will succ-mb”max said as he brought a bottle of whiskey towards me
“Excuse me?”
“Common we are guys and i know that your trying to woo back your lady but she is giving you a hærd time”he said
“Yes,your right “i said starring out at her
Lily was talking to her and she had a smile on her face,a very lovely one
“She is giving me a hærd time and i hærdly know how to approach her”
“You see there was a time when i had almost lost lily,we decided on giving our self sometime before going to back to each other and due to my stupidity we spent a lot of time apart,now what am trying to bring out in all of this is that you shouldnt give up and the more time you waste,the more you lose her,am quite sure that your sincere with her,milly had been a great help when i was searching for my wife and ever since then she has hold a part of my heart,i wouldnt want anything to happen to her”max said
“Have learnt from my past mistake max ,milly is a gem i plan not to lose,so rest your mind assured,milly wont be hurt by me again”i said
“Thats good to hear and so now lets get down to business before my darling wife thinks otherwise”he said smiling at me
And just then i knew what to do with milly
💭milly pov 💭
“I dont know why max had to get him as his business partner”lily said angrily
“Its okay,its business”i said
“But still…..”
“Its okay lily,lets just stop talking about lucas and lets talk of something else”i said
“Tell me is lucas wanting something more from you”lily said suddenly
“What,as how”i said
“Does he want to have a relationsh¡p with you?”lily said
“Yes ,he wants me to go back to him”i said
“And?”
“To be sincere,am quite confused ,i dont know what to decide on”i said
“Tell me,do you feel something more for him”lily said
“I Dont know,am quite confused”i said
“Love can you please come here for a while”max called and she excused herself and went in
And at that instant lucas came to stand beside me
“Milly,milly i need to talk to you”he said
“But i dont want to”i said wanting to get up to leave when he pulled my hand
“Look,lets do this,you accompany me to greece and lily along with max come with us”he said
“Why do you insist on me going with you to greece”i said
“Because i want you there with me and also because i…….”he didnt complete his sentence but pulled me to him and k-ssed my l-ips…….
