In his king size room, Lucas was seated, his head rested on his chair with his eyes closed.

His plan was going just the way he wanted.

His door opened without a knock. Opening his eyes he watch his father walked in with some cops.

“Here is he.. arrest him” Mr Charles said coldly.

Lucas chuckled. Of course, he knew something like this is bound to happen.

“What do you think you’re doing father?” He asked. Something about his voice sacartic.

“It’s high time I stop you son. You’ve take innocent lives enough and I can’t sit to watch you keep doing it” Mr Charles said.

“You know people like you Charles end up miserably. Why the hell do you think I’m like this? You should be proud since you made me this way” Lucas said calmly.

“Please take him away” Mr Charles said to the police and the obliged.

Mr Charles watch them handcuffed Lucas who have a grin on his face the entire time.

“You think, this is gonna stop me?” Lucas asked after the police dragged him up.

“I’ll make sure it would” Mr Charles said and Lucas was dragged away.

Jake took in a deep breath, his hands were in the air. Is he going to die?

“Wait, Jake?” The person called his name removing the gun from his head. He turn just to see who it is.

“Mr Wilson? Geez I was so scared” Jake breath out. He thought it was one of Venom’s men.

“What took you so long? I called 20 minutes ago” Jake snapped.

“I went for a arrest. Are you sure this is the place?” Wilson asked. Jake actually told him everything he found out.

“Yeah, are you the only one here? I thought I told you to bring your…

Wilson suddenly grab him by the shoulder and hide beside a car.

“What the…”

“Shhh” Wilson placed his finger on his lips causing Jake to shut up.

He took a peek and saw Dagon dragging a girl towards a car. Her mouth was covered with a black tape and her leg had dry blood on it.

With a cold look Dagon pushed her into the car before slamming the door.

“Isn’t he the one who kidnapped Piper?” Jake asked so low.

“I think you’re right this place is suspicious” Wilson muttered.

Dagon look around and they quickly hide trying not to make a single sound.

They heard the sound of a car engine starting, driving off from the place.

“That means Natasha is kept here, I knew she never left the country. I told you but you never believe” Jake glared.

“Sorry my bad. I thought she really went for a vacation”

“That’s what Venom what’s us to think but I’m not buying that”

“you should join a force or something..”

“Nah I’m cool” Jake shook his head.

“We need a plan” Wilson said looking around.

~POLICE CUSTODY~

Lucas sat with a dangerous look on his face. There was an handcuff on his hand. This would be the first time in history he’ll experience handcuffing.

The door opened, a detective walked in with a professional look on his face. He sat before him.

“Lucas…

“I have nothing to say to you. Where’s the chief police? I wanna see him” Lucas cut in immediately.

“Apparently you can’t at this moment”

“How about a call?” He asked getting a bit pissed.

“Your father asked us not to..”

Lucas hit his hand on the table and lean down. His aura changed scaring the police man a little. “A girl walked into a polite station crying hard that she was sexually abused by her own uncle but she wasn’t listened to. You know why? Because the police is the uncle himself. Does that story sound familiar to you?” Lucas asked.

The detective swallowed, it was as if he was the one being intterogated instead.

“I.. I’ll call you the chief police” He stuttered walking out of the room instantly.

Mr Charles was talking with the chief of Police when the detective came to inform him that Lucas demanded his presence.

Mr Charles and the chief of police went to meet Lucas.

“Doing this won’t help, the footage of how you killed Karen is with them in case you think there’s no evidence against you” Mr Charles glared coldly.

“Oh I see. You arrested me because of her. She weak and old so I just did a favour of sending her to heaven fast” Lucas smirked irritating both Mr Charles and the Chief.

“Mr Lucas, you’ll be charge to court soon..”

Lucas started laughing lightly surprising the two. Does he take this as a joke? His laughter died down after a few seconds and his face turned cold again.

“945348” Lucas mentioned.

The chief eyes widened like that of the moon hearing those numbers. The only person who knew these number was non other than the most dangerous man in the city.

The number indicates the Chief dirty secrets.

Lucas lips slowly curve up while Mr Charles wondered what was going on.

“Y…you… A..re… Ve…”

“Don’t say it” Lucas warned, he placed his hand on the table.

The chief of police quickly pulled out his keys.

“Chief?” Mr Charles called trying to stop him but he still went to uncuff Lucas.

“I’m so sorry, I have no idea” The chief shuddered in fear bowing lightly.

Lucas smiled tapping his shoulder. He stood and face his father.

“Who are you really? Cus you’re not my son” Mr Charles glared.

“Your son disappeared the day you left after mom died. You made me like this Dad, you should be happy. I have a lot of powerful men and women who shrink in fear hearing my name” Lucas chuckled.

Ben moved closer to Natasha. She was feeling dizzy, her face paled and her breath was shaky for the past hours.

“You need to hang on okay? Don’t die on me” Ben said tapping her cheek.

Her wound was not properly treated which was now affecting her. She could hardly keep her eyes opened.

As for Ben’s leg. He successfully placed his joint back to its place but still pretend it hurts.

“Hey dickface!! Can’t you see she needs a medical attention?!” Ben yelled at the speaker but there was no response.

“I don’t think he’s on seat” Natasha said weakly. Her stomach hurts as she speak.

“He’s everywhere so why isn’t he here at a crucial moment?” Ben was going nuts as he watch Natasha’s painful face.

“How’s Jake?” Natasha asked forcing her gaze to him.

“He’s fine, you’ve asked that many times” Ben answered.

“I missed him” she muttered.

“He talks about you all the time. I’m sure he’s looking for you right now” Ben said.

A strange sound made them stood alert.

“What was that?” Ben stood looking around. It was like a gas being released into somewhere.

“Something is not right” Ben muttered.

“What do you mean?” Natasha asked

“I think Venom is bursted” He replied.

The next thing that follows was loud gunshots everywhere.

“The police found us” Ben said having a strong of hope.

The loud gunshots continued for seven minutes before subduing.

“Tasha!!” They heard the sound of someone. Natasha’s eyes widened recognizing the voice.

“Jake” she muttered forcing her eyes opened.

“Tasha!!”

“Over here!!!” Ben yelled hitting a door several times.

“I heard something” Jake held Wilson as they both look at a direction. They were both wearing an oxygen mask. Two police was accompanying them. They were actually seven of them who came to rescue but three were killed already.

Jake was the one giving them a possible direction on where Natasha might be kept and he did it.

The door was opened using oxy-hydrogen flame. Jake ran inside immediately, his eyes laid on Natasha and his lips parted.

“Tasha, fuck” He Bagan crying holding her shoulder.

“You found me” she said weakly.

“Yes I did.. God I thought I lost you” Jake said hugging her lightly while crying hard. Only he knows how relived he was seeing her.

“There’s another girl, I think she’s hurt. You need to save her too” Ben said to Wilson.

“They took her somewhere” Wilson answered and his face dropped.

“What? You need to save my cousin. She still young” Natasha sobbed.

“I promise she’ll be okay.. let me help you walk, we need to get out of here. They are still some men out there so you need to stick with me” Jake said and she nodded. He gave her a light on her cheek before helping her up.

Wilson threw a gun at a Ben.

“I looked into your history, you should be able to use that” He said.

Ben look at the gun and then at him. He set the gun with a cold. “This ain’t the gun I like but I’ll manage”

“I can see why You’re Raymond’s friend” Wilson shook his head.

“I can see why Raymond dislike you” Ben replied walking pass him while he could only sighed.

Dagon stopped his car at the front an uncompleted building. Opening the door, he dragged Mikaela out.

She kept humming while hoping because of the pain on her leg.

Getting inside, he place her on a dusty old table then remove the tape on her lips.

“Please let me go, what are you going to do to me?” She sobbed.

He grabbed two knives rubbing it against each other.

“I’ll try not to make it painful” Dagon smirked.

Lucas entered his secret room. The screen around him turned on just at the snap of his finger. His gaze land on a screen showing Raymond trying to call Elsa.

“How boring, I thought he’d kill his brother.. but it’s still cool that way. I told you I’ll kill you slowly Raymond” He smirked.

Looking around again, his face turned a bit shock. Wilson, Ben, Jake, Natasha and two other armed police are busy shooting at his men. He grabbed an earphone and tapped it lightly.

“What the hell Tick?” He asked.

“Boss, we were trying to reach you” Tick, a fully armed guy with a built body like that of a soldier answered.

“What do you mean? That you can’t take care of things if I’m not available?!” Lucas roared.

“Sorry boss” Tick replied shooting at Wilson and others.

Lucas analysis the situation for just 10 seconds.

“Tick listen to me, you see that two cars on each other on your east west. Find a way to get there immediately and shoot the guy on blue shirt first, that would weakened their team” he ordered.

“Yes sir” Tick replied. “Hey cover me!!” He yelled at his other men and they began to shoot furiously at them.

“This is taking too long than expected!” Ben yelled.

“I never thought they’ll be this much!” Wilson yelled back shooting at them.

“We need to find a way out of here as soon as possible. Venom men keeps increasing!”

Jake saw a small gate leading outside. “How about we go through there” Jake pointed at it”

“Great, I think that’s a good idea only that we’ll get shot before reaching the damn door” Ben said sacartically.

“You guys are the main priority. We’ll cover. Ben go with them so you can cover them” Wilson said. His other two comrade were still busy shooting.

“Natasha you need to gather your strength okay?” Ben said and she nodded.

They stood and began to head towards the small gate with Wilson covering them.

But…

Tick appeared behind the car on were Venom asked him to hide. He pointed his gun at the guy wearing a blue shirt.

Jake!

Ben saw this and his eyes widened bit it was too late.

A gunshot sounded, the bullet pierced through Jake’s chest sending him down.

“Jake!!!!!!!!!”

~MRS BROWN APARTMENT~

Raymond burst into the apartment and found Mrs Brown busy feeding her cat. His breath was heavy as fuck! He had rush all his way here as fast as he could.

“Elsa!!” His eyes furiously scan the room.

“She isn’t home, is everything alright?” Mrs Brown asked worriedly.

“I need to find her, she might be in danger. I’ve tried calling her but her phone is dead. Where is she?” He said quickly.

“Her phone died before she left to her uncle’s place for a visit”

Hearing this Raymond stormed out immediately. He hopped on his bike and zoom off.

“Uncle believe me, you’re going to love Raymond. He is really stubborn but he have a good heart” Elsa smiled at her uncle who busy preparing an orange juice for her in the kitchen.

“You like him that much?” Jeremy asked.

“Very much, he’s cute and I love him”

“Why do you love him?” He asked bringing the juice for her.

“Hmm, do I need a reason to love him? It’s just that without him, nothing make sense” Elsa replied.

“Hm nice phrase” he muttered watching her drink from the juice. He took a deep breath afterwards.

“Gosh, I’ve missed this, Where Piper by the way?” She asked.

“She have a basketball match, didn’t she tell you?” Jeremy asked.

“Oh that’s right, my mind must have skipped it. When is it starting again?” She asked.

“By 5pm, it’s an evening match” Jeremy replied.

Elsa felt a little weird but ignored it.

“That means, I still have an hour to prepare..” she hiccuped.

“Drink some more” Jeremy said and she did so. “Yunno before my father died I asked him if life is boring”

“Hmm, why would you ask him such a question?” She chuckled but felt weird again.

“Is life boring Elsa?” He asked.

“I… ” She stopped when her sight darkened, her stomach turned so bad she vomited and fell into the floor groaning out loud.

Jeremy stood up with a blank look. “I’m sorry Elsa, you shouldn’t have fallen for the wrong guy”

“W…what did.. y..you do?” She managed to speak and watched him squat to look at her.

“I just did what I was asked to. How can you date someone who killed my elder brother? The same person offended someone he shouldn’t. Don’t blame me, blame yourself” Jeremy said standing up to leave through the backdoor.

Elsa eye darkened the more, blood came out of her lips as bead of sweat form on her head. All she could think of was Raymond. She can’t die like this! Not yet!

After struggle for a while her eye finally close as her breath halt.

Raymond bursted in at that moment.

“Elsa” he called but his world crumbled seeing the girl laying with her eyes closed on floor.

This can’t be Elsa right?

It can’t be her!

He kept on convincing himself as tears fell from those emerald eyes while taking slow steps to her body.

“Elsa” he muttered. His shaky hand made to touch her but…

Some SWAT rushed into the room all of a sudden grabbing him by the shoulder.

“Mr Raymond Adams, you’re under arrest for murder of Elsa Rolland” One of them said dragging him away before he could even touch Elsa.

“Get away from me!!!” He yelled insanely trying to go to her but his head was hit hard with a gun causing him to lose consciousness….
