The Retelling Story of IGODO
Chapter 16

Previously
“You lied, I killed them and I saw them dead with my own eyes”,
“Then look behind you and see for yourself”.
Uzodinma turned to look behind her and was greatly shocked to her bones when she saw Ikenna, Ikenga, Odum, Ikemefuna, Ojadike and Prince Ebuka coming towards her.
Where they not the ones she had killed back in the cave? What is really going one?

Uzodinma wondered as Nneoma smiled.
Uzodinma remained speechless as she saw the 6 comrades of hers coming towards them. She turned to look back at Nneoma.
Nneoma smiled and took a step forward, standing a breath away from Uzodinma. She could hear Uzodinma trepidatious heart.

“What, don’t tell me you are scared in seeing them all alive?”
Uzodinma gawky took a step back and quickly back away from Nneoma and the coming 6, facing all of them at once.
Ikenna, Ikenga, Ojadike, Odum, Prince Ebuka, Ikemefuna all joined Nneoma as they stood facing Uzodinma.
“How come? I killed the 6 of you in that cave, how come I am now seeing you all here alive”. Uzodinma asked out of anger
As she spoke, IGODO and Okike made their appearance, and walked towards Nneoma and co.

Uzodinma was once again render speechless on seeing the two.
“I don’t understand”. Uzodinma said and continued “What are you two doing here?”
Okike cleared out his throat before speaking. “Uzodinma, everything that you see are the plans of the river goddess, Idemmili. She saw what you where up too and prepared ahead. You see, before you came to join them when they were fighting the warriors of Ancient, the ball of light who had helped them came and took them all away, leaving their illusory behind, so that you would think they are the ones. The illusory were made to thier own image, they have the memories of the real ones. You only killed their illusions”.
Uzodinma was surprised at what she heard. She smiled as she nodded her head “Hmm, you all surprised me, catching me in my own games, you all deserve some accolades. But that hasn’t change the fact that I am with the knife of Amadioha”, said Uzodinma.

“True, and that is why I am here to collect the knife from you. You either give me the knife willingly, so that it would be use to save Umu-Igodo or I fight to collect it. The choice is yours to make”. Nneoma spoke out.
Uzodinma laughed at her “You don’t know me then Nneoma. None of you will take the knife from me, Nneoma don’t dare me” Uzodinma then proceeded in pointing at all of them, “All you joined together cannot defeat me. I am more than you seemed to know”.

“We all know that Uzodinma, but we are pleading to you, give us back the knife and you can go home”. Okike said.
“And you know my answer”, Uzodinma reply, adamant in her words.
“I am no longer holding Nneoma. Nneoma do to her what you wish”, Okike said at last.
Nneoma had been patiently waiting to hear the go ahead. She smiled as Uzodinma looked straight at her smirking back.

Meanwhile in the Realm of the gods
Amadioha stood facing Ala whose back was facing him.
“I have been begging you for many centuries to forgive me, but you paid no attention to me. I have atone for what I did in the past. I am so sorry, let us stop all these misunderstandings between us”. Amadioha pleaded yet again to his lover.
Ala on the other hand, has made up her mind to forgive Amadioha. She turned, in her glory and beauty, Amadioha looking speechless and told Amadioha the words he had been yearning to hear for centuries. “I have forgiven you my love”.

Amadioha was elated on hearing it. “Thanks so much my love, I am indeed indebted to you”.
Ala nodded and proceeded in telling Amadioha about her pregnancy, everything that he needed to know.
“Hmm, so she is also my daughter?”
“Yes, I am afraid so, but there is a problem”.

“What problem my love?” Amadioha asked.
“I no longer have control over my present generation. I think Agwu is behind it”.
“Hmm, god agwu again?”. Amadioha asked no one in particular then continued “I will have to talk to Agwu soon, but before then, let us think of a way in stopping the fight that is about to happen between my two daughters. But first I will have to involve Idemmili”.

The Retelling Story of IGODO
Chapter 17

Adaku was pounding Apku, fufu, in a mortal when she felt something was going wrong. Something felt amiss. She stops her pounding of fufu and looked around her carefully, Why am I feeling unease all of a sudden? Adaku thought to herself, after a while she continued pounding her fufu. Suddenly she stopped whatever she was doing and held her right palm out. She peered on it and it opened to reveal Uzodinma and the rest. “I see why I was greatly disturbed”. Adaku whispered to herself as she heard all the conversation going on between them.
“I have to do something fast”, Adaku said and quickly held out her other palm out, opening it, an eye appeared in her palm.
“I hope everything is working out fine as we have planned?” A voice asked Adaku.
“I don’t think so my lord, the children of Amadioha had cornered my daughter, and by the look of things, she’s about to fight that Nneoma of a girl” Adaku replied.

“But I thought, you had killed that child of Idemilli, what happened?”
“I had thought so too my lord, I gave her some poison Udara which she took and even licked one in my presence, but I see it doesn’t have any effect on her”, Adaku revealed.
“Your daughter wants to fight with someone who has the blessing of Amadioha and who is the direct descended of Idemilli. But….. I will be back, am feeling the presence of Amadioha approaching my territory”.
The eye closes.
“Hmm, but how did Nneoma survived after licking the Udara I gave her in my front? Mbanu- No, I have to tell Uzodinma to be wary of Nneoma and tell her to quit the fight before something erroneous happens. I have to tell my daughter to stop”. Adaku said, advising herself.

She immediately started making some incantations.
In the Realm of the gods
Amadioha stood before Agwu in all his glory, he was taller than any other gods and more powerful than them. His glide was elegant than most of the gods. Agwu on the other hand, was a short god who was very cunning and a trickster, though he wasn’t bad to look upon.
“I am not here for any jokes Agwu, tell that lady you have spoken too a few minutes ago to stop and to tell her daughter not to fight”.
“I don’t understand what you are saying great Amadioha. I have been in my territory for many millennia and had never interacted with any humans, why would you accuse me of something I have not done or even think of doing”. Agwu said.

“Do not lie to me”, Amadioha says back, his infamous anger coming to Surface. Agwu could hear the faint sound of thunder far off above them in the sky.
Agwu shifted back a little before he smiled cruelly at Amadioha. “Well, I am afraid I can’t stop her. And besides, who gave you the audacity to step your foot in my territory to ask me such nonsense. You can’t force me on what to do”.

“Hmm, I see that you are so ignorant of what you are about to cause between those two children of mine, but I tell you Agwu, you will not succeed with your evil plans, I can assure you of that”.
“You can’t do anything to me, you might be a senior god but you and I were created for different purpose”. Agwu arrogantly said.
Amadioha didn’t answer him, rather he nodded his head and god Ikenga appeared “Bound him till I am back”.
