~Dray god~
I turned in my bed sleepily as I heard loud knocking on my door.
I gro-ned aloud.
“Who’s there?” I muttered, annoyed that I had to be woken up so early. I glanced at the bedside clock, it was just a few minutes past eight.
“Open the door you fat, ugly, betraying friend!!” Danny growled out angrily from the other side of the door.
I sat up in bed, blinking rapidly.
I cautiously opened the door to reveal danny, still dressed in his pajamas, a huge scowl on his face.
“What’s up?” I asked cautiously.
“You uploaded the video even after my repeated warning!!” He nearly scre-med.
I looked at him for a long time.
“Is that why you rushed out to my house, still in your pajamas?” I asked, stifling a laugh.
He didn’t seem impressed at all.
He moved menacingly to me and grabbed the collar of my pajama
“Do you have any idea of what I’m going to do to you?” He growled angrily at me. I gagged as his morning breath hit my nose.
I wrinkled my nose and pushed him away from me.
“Your breath stinks, and I don’t appreciate the fact that you’re accusing me wrongly.”
“Don’t play smart with me Damian!”
“I didn’t upload the video. I swear.” He looked at me for a long time. Then he ran his hands through His hair.
“Then who did? The video has gone viral, with about 4million views…arrrgh!!”
“Did you ask the she devil in your house? I bet she has something to do with it.” I said, crossing my hands overy chest.
“No. Kori, I swear to god, I’ll kill that girl.” He rushed out of the house. I raced after him.
“Hey druppy, is Kelly still in your house?” I asked with a mischievous smile.
“Why are you asking?” He asked, looking at me suspiciously.
“Nothing much. I just missed her delicious pasta.”
“You’re nuts!” He exclaimed and got into His car and drove off.
I laughed and walked back into my house.

“Wake up sleepyhead!!” Kori scre-med, into my ears.
Oh crap!
I mo-ned and rolled over, taking the bedcover with me.
“Kelly! Get your ass out of that bed! Now!” She scre-med directly into my ears.
I gro-ned and used the pillow to cover myself.
I felt the bedcover and the pillow been roughly yanked from me.
I opened my eyes to glare at her.
“Are you going to sleep all day? Don’t you have chores to do? Like maybe telling me what happened in the kitchen last night.” She said wriggling her brow.
I hissed loudly, but my face still turned a shade red.
“What makes you think something happened in the kitchen? I just had a glassful of water and… Oh…I’m hungry.” I quickly got out of bed.
“Oh no homey.” She said, blocking me as I tried to leave the room. “…you’re going to tell me exactly what happened between you and danny last night.”
I gasped.
“Did you set us up yesterday? In the kitchen?”
“No, that one was purely coincidence.” She smiled broadly.
“I’m hungry.”
“Tell me what happened between you guys, are you guys now a thing?”
“We just k-ssed.”
“And?” She prompted.
“And we talked.” I said, slightly irritated.
“About?”
“About music stuffs.” I lied smoothly.
“Liar. Whatever happened to freshly brewed coffee? Huh?”
I gasped and turned to glare at her.
“Why you little sneak… Arhhhg! You were eavesdropping?”
She gave me a devilish wink.
“I just happened to be passing by.”
“Kori, stop please.”
There was a loud knock on the door. Danny poked in his head.
“Hey, uhm…I made coffee, would you like some?” His eyes never left my face as he said that. I felt my face heat up.
Kori scoffed loudly.
“One would think that you’re inviting Kelly alone to drink coffee with you.”
“You can come too, we have a lot to talk about.” He gave me a slight wink and left the room.
I turned to glare at Kori.
“Can you please stop making silly remarks?”
“I wonder what inspired my brother to make coffee, oh…I think I know, since he reminds you of freshly brewed coffee, he’s decided to live up to your standard.”
I pushed her out of my way and walked out of the room.
She followed behind me, chuckling.
◀Five minutes later▶
“Kori, you’re the worse friend ever!!!” I scre-med, as danny revealed that the video of us k-ssing had gone viral.
She sighed loudly.
“Relax babe, it’s not a big deal.” She said soothingly. I was not calm.
“But you promised me you wouldn’t do it, why?”
“Hey, when you guys were busy saying all those yummy words to each other, I got the impression that you are now officially a couple, so I thought, why not make it public?”
“Ah Kori, you’ve finally succeeded in ruining my life.’ I scratched my head.
” it’s not a big deal, you guys are a couple, I just helped to announce it. ” she retorted.
“It’s a big deal, and I’m upset with you.” I stood up and left the dining table.
I walked into her room and quickly had my bath and changed my clothes.
“Where are you going to?”she asked, leaning casually on the doorframe.
” I’m not talking to you Kori! ” I snapped.
“You’re still angry?”
“Yes. I’m leaving now! You… You stabbed me at my back!” I picked up my bag and left the room.
I got into my car.
The car was about to drive off, when danny rushed out of the house.
“Wait!” I told the chauffeur.
I wind down the glass of the car, and poked my head out.
“Hey.” He said breathless.
“Hi.” I said,,feeling suffocated all of a sudden.
“Don’t be too upset with her, that’s how she is?” He leaned forward,, our faces were just inches apart. I nodded.
“I’m just teasing her.” I said, with a nervous.
“Yeah, uhm…about yesterday…” My heart did a wild tango in my chest, blood rushed to my cheeks.
“Ahem…”
“I really liked it.” He drawled, biting his l-ips. I nearly swooned. Did he just say he liked k-ssing me?
“Liked what?” I whispered.
“The k-ss.” He smiled. My heart melted.
“Uhm…
“Didn’t you like it too?”
“I..I..did…”
“Soooo…” He leaned forward, closer, our nose touched. I stared into his eyes. “…can I come over to your house, later in the day? To give us some privacy from my nosy sister?”
It happened too quickly, I don’t know how it happened, but I found myself nodding.
Jesus!
Kelly!!!
He smiled.
“Great, I’ll see you later then.” He winked slightly at me. I blushed and watched his retreating back. I slumped into cushion of the car. I fanned myself with my hands, feeling hot all of a sudden.
What have I gotten myself into?
◀Forty minutes later▶
“Kelly I’m so happy for you guys!!!” Mom scre-med excitedly. I gro-ned aloud and rolled my eyes.
“The news is everywhere!” Amber tossed me a newspaper. I caught it in midair and glanced at it. An enlarged picture that was screenshot from the video made the front headline.

I folded the paper and tossed it away, gritting my teeth in anger.
“Stinking media!” I swore under my breath.
“This calls for celebration Kelly! Let’s drink to you guy’s health.” Amber returned with a glass of champagne. She poured it out in three cups and shared it.
“To the newest couple’s health.” Mom said with a big smile.
“To their rom-nce.”
“And to their happiness.”

They clinked their glass together, with mine.
I just kept mute.
Trying to contradict them now would be a waste of time.
While they were still busy drinking, I sneaked to my room and called Jenny.
Her line ringed for a while, before it was directed to voicemail. I sighed and tossed my phone away, feeling depressed all of a sudden.
◀An hour later▶
Amber and mom had left for the supermarket. I was at home, trying to write a song. I had written a few lines, when I lost the inspiration. I chewed on the pen, racking my brain.
I ordered for pizza, since I was feeling a little bit hungry.
I decided to login to my Instagram account.
My followers were about 4million now.
My message notifications were endless, I could not even read all of them.
Geez!
I posted a picture that Kori had discreetly taken with my phone when we were in the pool yesterday. It was unaware picture😝
The comments on my picture multiplied.
I read through people’s comments and scoffed loudly. This were the same people that had insulted me on my comment on druppy’s songs. Now they’re flattering me with praises and sweet words.
I heard the doorbell ring.
Hmm, the pizza guy was very quick.
I opened the door.
It was danny. Looking hot as usual. Standing in the doorway. With my pizza in his hands.
“Hey.”
I was not expecting him to come so soon.
“Come in.” I said breathlessly, stepping aside for him to enter.
“You’re surprised?” He asked, raising a brow.
I laughed nervously.
“Not really.”
He grinned. Awwwwn_ so adorable😌
“Well I actually met the pizza guy as I was about to use the elevator, so I then decided to help him bring it up to you.”
He walked into the dining room and placed the pizza on the table.
“Uhm…that’s thoughtful of you. thank you.” I smiled and sat down.
“Sit down.” I said when I saw him stlll standing up. He smiled and sat down. I pushed the pizza to him, he took a triangular piece and munched it.
I also munched my pizza, feeling nervous all of a sudden.
We ate in silence for awhile.
“I’ll just take a tour around your house.” He said, looking into my face. I nodded and kicked my fingers.
But wait, isn’t that suppose to be invasion of privacy?
I followed him. We entered Amber’s room.
“That’s my sisters’ room.” I said quietly, feeling embarrassed. Her lingerie were scattered around on the bed.
“We should leave now.” I pushed him out of the room and shut the door.
“And that’s my room.” I said nervously, racking my brain to remember if I had left anything embarrassing.
“Wow, I’ll like to see your room.”
Before I could protest, he had entered my room.
“Nice room.” He said, looking around my room.
Thank God everywhere was s₱0tless.
“We should go now.” I said quickly.
“Hey, we just got here.” He jumped on my bed. I watched, wide eyed. He settled himself very comfortably on the bed.
“B..but, we’ve not toured the rest of the house.”
He smiled.
“Your bed smells nice. Just like you.” I blushed and looked away.
“…”
“Come.”
“What?”
“I want to tell you something.” He sat up in bed. I eyed him suspiciously
“I can hear you from here.”
“Come closer please, I just want to tell you something.”
“Like?”
“Come here first.”
I sighed loudly And moved close to him.
Before I could blink, he seized my wrist and dragged Me into the bed.
I fell, stunned.
Before I could react again, he had pinned me down to the bed, a small smile on his face.
“So, how about another make out session?” He drawled out s€×ily. I nearly drooled.
“Huh?”
My heart was already beating fast, threatening to jump out of my ribcage.
“I’m going to k-ss you now.” He looked into my eyes, that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach increased.
“Because I just can’t get enough of your l-ips.”
I gulped.
He leaned forward, I shut my eyes tightly, feeling nervous. Our l-ips brushed together. He s-cked gently on my lower l-ips.
Crap!
My hands tightened around his neck. I granted him access to deepen the k-ss, mo-ning softly against his l-ips.
Our k-ss heated up, searing k-sses.
He k-ssed my cheeks, my earlobes…the side of my neck,…
It felt so magical, it felt so pleasant, and then I realized something…
That I liked k-ssing danny…

I watched,on my laptop with growing anger, as danny and Kelly made out on her bed.
Shit!
From the look of things, the k-ss was leading to something else.
I warned you Kelly, I warned you not to fall in love with Danny.
You replied my message with; f-ck you.
I warned you, you’ve failed to listen.
Now it’s time for your punishment to begin…
But first, I’ll have to end this rom-nce.
I picked up my phone and dialed her number.
It rang loudly on the other end, on my computer screen.
I watched in smug satisfaction as they sprang apart…
That’s what I’ll do…keep them apart…
For Kelly is mine…
Mine alone….

My phone rang loudly, danny and I sprang apart. I blushed as I glanced at my phone.
“Arrgh! Why now?” He said with a scowl on his face. I laughed nervously, my heart still beating rapidly.
“I’ll just…ehm…take this call…” I picked up my phone and looked into the screen.
An unknown number?
“Hello?” I said into the receiver.
No response. I could only hear deep, heavy breathings on the other end.
“Hello, who’s this?” I asked, feeling my skin crawl.
Still that eerie breathing and the frightening silence.
“You…” I heard a voice, it was barely above a whisper,goosebumps settled on my skin. I could not even fathom if it was a male or female.
“Hello? I’m going to hang up now if you don’t state what you want…” My voice shook slightly. I glanced quickly at danny,he looked tensed.
The line went dead.
I glanced at my screen again.
I didn’t like this one bit,
“Who’s that?” Danny asked.
I put my phone in my pocket.
“A prank call.” I said, shrugging.
I knew it was more than that, there was something ominous about that silence.
“Come, let’s go to the kitchen.” I said, standing up.
“Heeeey, I thought we’d continue our make out session?” He asked sed-ctively.
I would have given in naturally, but not in my room…
Not when I have this unsettling feeling that I was been watched…

◀FLASHBACK▶
Dominic sauntered into the apartment, apparently drunk.
He smirked in satisfaction on seeing Amber perched atop his bed.
“You’re on time today huh?” He hiccupped drunkenly. She didn’t say anything, but she shrank inwardly when he sat down on the bed, close to her.
“You look pretty when upset.” He cupped her face in his palms and leaned forward to k-ss her. She turned her head away, gagging from the stench of his breath.
He chuckled and brought out a bottle from his pocket. He uncorked the bottle and took a long sip from it, and then smacked his l-ips loudly, droplets of beer sticking to his goatee.
“You don’t want me to show your family the vi…”
“I’ve heard that countless times from you! And I’m tired of hearing it!” She snapped irritated.
He belched loudly.
“Well…” He rubbed his beard. “…it’s not going to go away…let me k-ss you…”
“No!” She tried to move away from him, but he dragged her closer to him,laughing cruelly.
“I like it when you get feisty!” He said chuckling. He pinned her to the bed, she struggled underneath him, gasping and trashing hee legs about.
“Get off me!” She scre-med.
He leaned forward,l-ips posed to k-ss her.
She successfully rammed her knees into his stomach, taking the wind out of him. He gro-ned loudly and rolled off her.
She tried to stand up from the bed, his hands seized the hem of her dress, she scre-med loudly.
“No escape for you Amber.” He said in a singsong manner,mockingly.
Her hands clawed at the bed, clutching the bedcover tightly.
“Let go of me now!!”
“You’re mine!” He snarled, he began to rip off her dress.
“No! I belong to nobody!”
“Save your breath hussy.” He said with a smug grin on his face that disgusted her. He was still busy with her clothes, her hands felt the coldness of the bottle in his trousers. An idea was forming quickly…
She suddenly stopped kicking and fighting him, she became docile. He noticed it and mistook it for submission.
“Good girl.” He said chuckling. He ripped off the rest of her dress.
“I’ll help you with your belts.” She offered, when she saw him fumbling drunkenly with his zippers.
He nodded.
She looked into his face and gave a little smile, while her fingers slithered out the bottle from his pocket.
He didn’t notice it.
He then leaned forward to k-ss her, she held her breath as his l-ips moved over hers.
“k-ss back bitch!” He growled angrily_noticing her resistance. She grudgingly k-ssed back, nausea threatening to overtake her.
Now! Now! Now!
Her conciseness scre-med.
She lifted up the bottle, just as his l-ips trailed k-sses from her neck to her chest.
No going back!
She smashed the bottle on his head,
He gro-ned aloud, she nearly scre-med when she felt the warm,sticky blood roll out from his wound to her body.
She pushed him away from her, her heart beating widely in panic.
Gosh! Was he dead? Is she now murderer?
She touched the side of his neck, she could feel a weak pulse…
God please…
She picked up her ruined dress and don it over her body. She moved to the laptop on his table. She already knew his password.
She typed in AMBER
The system booted open.
She quickly scrolled through some files, she knew exactly what she was looking for.
She found the video.
She didn’t even think twice,she pressed ‘delete’
ACTION COMPLETED✅✔
She heaved a huge sigh of relief.
Now she’s free…
Now she doesn’t belong to anyone…
She stood up quickly and went to his wardrobe, she rummaged through his clothes, they all had this nauseating smell.
She picked the cleanest cloth she could find and sneaked out of the apartment.
Once she was outside the house_ she took in long breath of air.
Ahhh freedom at last.
She brought out her phone and dialed 911
“Hello, there’s an emergency, someone’s life is in danger.”
She disguised her voice.
“Can you please give us the location, and what’s your name ma’am?”
“My name is not important.” She said in a gruff voice. She told them the address and disconnected the call.
Then she smashed her phone on the floor.
She walked away, her gait springy and confident…
