HER QUEST FOR REVENGE

CHAPTER 5🥀

*Four days later*

Roxanne was discharged from the hospital and now they live in their parents house. The burial was already carried out and the news is all over the country…

“Sis, we’re running out of food” Roxanna said as she closed the refrigerator.

“What? Gosh! And the money is only enough to buy our meal for today. What are we gonna do?” Camella asked worriedly…

Roxanna sighed and fell on the couch. Ever since their parents died, the government reclaimed back all their wealth and now they’re living in poverty.

“I think I’ll drop out of school” Camella said.

“What? No way!!” Roxanna said.

“That’s the only way, I have to look for means in order to provide for us” Camella said.

Roxanna sighed sadly. She’s tired, tired of this world they live in.

“I’m going to buy some food, I’ll be back” Camella said and walked out of the house.

Roxanna sat there thinking of all what happened just these few days.

“Since when did our life became like this” She said to no one. A drop of tears escaped her eyes but she quickly wiped it off.

A knock was head on the door.

“Come in” She said.

Jennifer and Catherine walked in the living room and they sighed as they saw her in deep thoughts.

“Hey Roxy, anything wrong?” Catherine asked as they sat down beside her.

“Nothing just that we’ll soon run out of finance. I think I’ll have to quit school” Roxanna said and they both gasped.

“No, no way you can’t quit school. Don’t you worry I’ll help you, I’ll just borrow some cash from my brother” Jennifer said.

“Oh no, it’s okay. I don’t want to bother you guys with my problem.” Roxanna said.

“Stop being modest and accept my offer. Beside money is not a problem for my brother, I’ll help you guys.” Jennifer said.

“Thanks Jenny” Roxanna said and heaved a sigh of relief, one problem solved…

Camella was at the supermarket, shopping for food when she bumped into her oldest friend.

“Gina?” Camella said surprised…

“Oh my God, Camella.” Gina said and they both hugged each other tightly.

“Wow it’s being 4 years since we last saw each other. Look at you, you’ve become more beautiful.” Gina said.

“Thank Gina, you too you look good.” Camella said checking her out…

They finished shopping before walking out of the supermarket. They went to a cafeteria in order to discuss more clearly..

Two mugs of coffee were brought to their table and they sipped on it while chatting..

“I’ve heard about what happened to your parents. And I want to pay my deepest condolences” Gina said with a sad look on her face.

“Thanks, I’m trying to move on but it’s quite difficult” Camella said and sighed.

“Difficult? How?” Gina asked and took a sip from her coffee.

Camella began explaining to her their financial problem and that they are really in need of money.

“Poor girl, I’m so sorry you have to go through this” Gina said as she rubbed her hand.

Camella smiled briefly and resumed in drinking her coffee, deep in thoughts.

“But if you want I can give you a job that pays” Gina said which seemed to pricked Camella curiosity.

“What is that job?” Camella asked.

“I won’t tell you, you’ll see for your self. Meet me at Maxwell club at 9pm sharp. And also you have to look pretty” Gina said.

“Okay. Thanks a lot Gina, I’ll have to go now. See you around” She said and walked out of the cafeteria.

She then boarded a cab which took her home. Upon arriving there, she saw Roxanna laughing and chatting with her friends.

“I’m glad, she is gradually moving on” She said inwardly with a smile on her l-ips…

“Sis, you’re back!!” Roxanna said as she noticed Camella.

“Yeah, I’ll just keep these in the kitchen” She said and walked in the kitchen.

After some minutes, she has already finished arranging the food in the refrigerator.

She walked out of the kitchen and saw Roxanna watching TV.

“We are your friends?” Camella asked as she saw only Roxanna in the living room.

“They went, it was already late” Roxanna replied with her eyes glued on the TV.

“Roxy, I have a good news for us” Camella said and Roxanna faced her urging her to continue.

“I got a job!!” Camella said happily.

“Wow, that’s great.” Roxanna and squealed.

“I’ll be going to my new job at 9pm.” Camella said check the time, it was still 7pm.

“Which job did you got?” Roxanna asked.

“I don’t know, but I’m sure its a server or waiter” Camella replied.

“Alright, please be careful okay? I don’t want you to get involved in some shitty stuff just like dad did” Roxanna said.

“I will” Camella replied.

They went to the kitchen and began cooking dinner.

Nathaniel came back home, feeling exhausted. He fell on the couch as hr gro-ned.

“I’m so tired” He said.

Jennifer came downstairs and sat on his belly.

“God! Please get up you’re suffocating me” Nathaniel said as he pushed her away.

“Geez Jenny, you wanted to kill me.” Nathaniel said.

“That’s for coming back late, I wanted to eat dinner with you but I took it all by myself. Mum is already asleep” Jennifer said with her hands crossed.

“I was busy with the rehearsal, choreography, autographs, reporters, photoshoot, fans…”

“It’s okay, I get. You were busy” Jennifer said and pecked his cheek.

“Stop that, my cheek and body is for my future girlfriend” Nathaniel said as he wiped his cheek.

Jennifer laughed dryly.

“Which girlfriend are you talking about. Is it the one you dated last week and dumped her because she wore a dress with a color that you don’t like, or is it the one you dumped just because she smiled at another guy. Or you mean to tell me the other girlfriend you dumped because you don’t like her name. You’re such a playboy” Jennifer said…

“What? It’s not my fault that I’m too handsome to resist. Besides what do you want me to do, I can’t be with someone I don’t love.” Nathaniel said and laid properly on the couch with his eyes close.

Suddenly something hit his stomach. He gro-ned in pain as he opened his eyes to see a shoe on his stomach.

“You better grow up Nate, playing with a woman’s feeling is so wrong. I just wish that one day the person you’ll love will dump you for another. There you’ll know how it feels” Jennifer said and threw her other pair of shoes towards him, it hit his head.

“Ouch that hurts!!” Nathaniel said rubbing his head.

“That’s nothing compared to the pain you’ll feel when that time comes” She said and went upstairs.

Nathaniel sat on the couch in deep thoughts.

“She’s right, I play with girl’s feelings. How will I feel if they played with mine too.” He asked to no one in particularly.

He sighed and walked upstairs with Jennifer shoes in his hands.

Camella was already dressed for tonight. She wore a simple black and red gown and ended on her knees. She tied her hair up in a pony tail before walking out of the room.

“Wish me luck” She said as she reached downstairs were Roxanna was cleaning the table.

“Good luck sis” Roxanna said with a smile.

“Thanks, I’ll be going” She said and walked out of the house.

She boarded the cab which too her to the club. She stood out of the club waiting for Gina to arrive.

Gina walked out of the club and saw Camella standing outside.

“Hey, you really came” Gina said which made Camella to turn to her.

“Yeah” Camella replied while staring weirdly at her

She was wearing a transparent dress which revealed almost all parts of her body.

“Come in” Gina said before walking in. Camella followed behind

Camella’s eyes scanned round the club and her face changed to that of disgust. The women present there were all dressed in a very revealing attire and she even s₱0tted some making out in public, some where busy sed-cing the men by strip dancing.

*What kind of place is this?* She thought

They went into a room which had a bed and a small table beside it.

Gina turned to Camella with a smile.

“Camella, all you have to do is sit down on that bed and wait. Someone will come in here, and what will follow will follow. Do not anger him, he’s a very important client.” Gina said and left before Camella could ask questions.

Camella eyes darted round the room as she was confused.

Not long after, someone walked in the room. He was tall, handsome and he looked like he was in his late thirty.

“Good evening Miss” He said with a smile which made Camella really uncomfortable.

“Uh, good evening” She said taking a step away from the man.

He walked closer and car-ssed Camella shoulder, flashing his golden teeth to her.

Camella shifted away

“Uh, excuse me mister. I don’t know who you are but I was here to apply for a job” Camella said and the man laughed like it was something funny.

“Really? Well looks like you got the job” He said and held her wa-ist as one hand squeezed her bum.

Camella pushed him away and slapped him.

“How dare you touch me?” Camella ranted.

He got angry with the slap she gave her so he slapped her back too. Camella held her cheek in pain.

He held her hand threw her on the bed before going on top of her.

“You bch, how dare you slap me. You slapped me for something you are going to enjoy anyway, I paid a huge sum of money for you and I’m going to have you whether you like it or not.

Camella struggled to push him away but he just pinned her hand on the b.ed.

“No, let me go” She scre-med hysterically.

She s₱0tted a vase and smashed it on his head before running out of the room leaving her bag and shoes in the room…

She boarded a cab which too her home. As she arrived home she panged loudly on the door.

“Geez who’s disturbing my sleep?” Roxanna said as she walked to open the door. She opened it and gasped as she saw her sister almost nked with a bruised face.

“What…what happened to you?” Roxanna asked in shock.

Camella broke in tears

“I almost got rapped” She cried.

Roxanna took her in her arms as she rubbed her back, consoling her…

CHAPTER 6🥀

Roxanna took her in and locked the door. She made her sit on the couch as she went to take a glass of water.

“Here” She said and handed it to her, she drank it in one go as she tried to calm down.

“So tell me, what happened” Roxanna asked.

“Well, I went at the location Gina asked me to meet her. After some minutes she walked out of the club dressed in a skimpy outfit. She took me into a room and told me not to upset the person who will come. After some minutes a man walked in he tried to touch me but I refused so he then tried to force himself on me. I kicked him away and smashed a vase on his head before dashing out of the room.” She said as she began crying, remembering all what happened.

Roxanna engulfed her into a comforting hug.

“Hush! It’s okay, the most important thing is that he didn’t rappe you. Stop crying sis, I’m sorry this had to happen to you” Roxanna said.

After some minutes she stopped crying. Roxanna took her upstairs and helped her change, she slept off after that.

Roxanna walked to her room and laid back on her bed. She wasn’t feeling sleepy any more.

“Why does trouble seem to follow us everywhere we go” She whispered.

After some minutes, she drifted off to sleep.

“WHO IS THAT GIRL TELL ME, WHAT KIND OF BCH DID YOU FIND ME?” The man yelled at the top of his voice with one hand round Gina neck and the other on his head as he pressed a bag of ice on his bruises..

“She’s…she’s a friend of mine.” Gina said as she tried to release his grip off her…

“A friend of yours? I want you to find every information about her, find out the place she lives, her name, if she has siblings…everything!!” He spatted…

“Yes boss” She said and he released his grip on her neck.

She made to go out but stopped on her track when he spoke…

“Where do you think you’re going? I paid for a night with her but she escaped so you’re going to replace her. $trip and get on the b.ed!” He said as he un..buckled his b.elt.

“Yes boss” She replied and quickly $tripped and got on the be.d.

______Next morning

Nathaniel woke up very early in the morning and he was already dressed up for school. He made breakfast for his sister and walked upstairs with the tray of food in his hands.

He knocked on the door.

“Come in” She said and he opened the door and walked in with the tray of food.

She saw her brushing her hair and styling it.

“Good morning sis, I made breakfast for you” He greeted with a smile.

Jennifer looked at him suspiciously.

“Is that poison?” She asked.

“I wish it was but unfortunately it isn’t” Nathaniel replied and rolled his eyes.

He placed the food on the table and walked up to her.

“Alright, I won’t beat around the bush. I want to ask for your forgiveness. It’s true I’ve being a playboy. I’ll change if that’s what you want” He said sincerely.

“Really?” Jennifer face brightened.

“Yeah” He said with a smile revealing his dimples.

“Thanks big brother, you’re the best.”She said and pecked his cheek.

“Stop doing that, like I said my cheek and body is for my future girlfriend” He said with a pout.

“Alright Mr” She said and stuffed the food in her mouth before picking her bag and they walked out of the room.

Roxanna woke up and gro-ned.

“I don’t want to go to school” She whined…

She closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep.

After some minutes she spranged up from bed as cold water was poured on her body.

She looked up and saw holding a bucket as a smirk played on her l-ips.

“Now that you had your bath, go get dress for school” She said.

“CAMELLA, I’LL KILL YOU!!” She scre-med and began chasing Camella round the house.

After a long minute of bargaining, Camella finally accepted that they stay at home today.

They cooked and ate, the they sang, dance, food wars, watch TV, laugh, fashion parade and all the likes.

Nathaniel walked out of his classroom looking gorgeous as usual with his headset on.

On his way to the exit, he saw one of his friends Mason together with someone he doesn’t recognize

“Hey ma bro” He said and they bumped fist.

“How you doing?” Mason asked.

“You know me, I’m always cool” He replied with a smile.

“That’s good then. Well let me present to you my new friend and he’s also my neighbors. His name is Chris” Mason said pointing at Chris.

“Nice meeting you Chris, I’m Nathaniel but my friends call me Nate” He said.

“The pleasure is all mine, I’ve heard a lot of your music you’re good in it” Chris said with a smile.

“Thanks bro, so let’s go grab a bite. My treat!” He said and crossed his arms on their shoulders as they walked out of school.

“Can’t believe Roxy didn’t come to school today” Jennifer said as they came out of their class heading to the school lunch room.

“Yeah me too. I always thought she was mother school but right now, she proved me wrong” Catherine said and they laughed.

They walked in the cafeteria and met Olivia one of their friend sitting on a table, there was someone with her she has blonde, curly hairs.

They walked up to them and sat down with Jennifer beside Olivia and Catherine beside the new girl.

“Hey girls, have you met my new friend. She’s cute right?” Olivia said.

“Yea, what’s your name?” Jennifer asked.

“Yvonne” She replied shortly.

“My name is Jennifer”

“And I am Catherine”

“Okay” She simply replied.

*Looks like she’s an introvert* jennifer thought.

They began eating and talking while Yvonne just stared at them and answered questions when she was being asked.

Suddenly a boy came and sat hit his hand on the table making the four girls look up at him.

“What do you want Bryan?” Jennifer asked with a bored expression.

“This is my seat, get out of it” Bryan said.

Yvonne glared daggers at him. Ever since she that incident, boys has been her greatest enemies.

Bryan noticed the way she looked at her.

“Why are you staring at me like that? Am I that handsome to resist” Bryan said ans the girls began laughing because he called himself handsome.

“What? Why are y’all laughing?” He yelled.

Yvonne stood up from her seat, still glaring at him.

Olivia suddenly remembered what Mason told him about Yvonne.

“Uhh, Bryan please leave before you regret it” Olivia said pleadingly.

“If I don’t leave what will you guys do” He asked with a smirk.

By that time Olivia was already in front of him as she continued glaring at him.

“Look at that, do you want to fight me do you want to slap me with those microscopic hands of yours?” Bryan teased.

Yvonne grabbed him by the collar and flinged him over her back. He landed on the ground, she began punching, slapping him. In her eyes, all what she could see was the guy who rapped her.

“Someone please help me before she kills me!!” Bryan scre-med.

Olivia, Jennifer, and Catherine came and pulled her away from the man.

“You monster, you took advantage of me” Yvonne scre-med as tears flowed down her cheek.

The girls took her to the restroom and began consoling her.

“Calm down Yvonne, please everything is okay. No one will take advantage of you as long as I’m alive and kicking” Olivia said as she rubbed her back.

Olivia turned to Jennifer and Catherine who had looks of confusion on their faces.

“Girls what I’m about to tell you, please keep it to yourself. Yvonne here,,,she’s a victim of rappe.” Olivia said and the girls gasped.

“Go$h, we’re so sorry” Catherine said.

“Come on let’s take her home. We’ll explain everything to her parents once we get home.” Olivia said and they helped her up as they walked out of the restroom

The sisters ended their day by watching TV. They were watching animes, they are fans of animes. The anime they were watching was “Your name”

Suddenly someone rang the bell,

“I’ll go and see who it is” Camella said and stood up.

She opened the door and saw who it was, it was Gina. She had a look of uneasiness in her.

“Good thing you’re here. We have a lot of things to discuss about” Camella said fuming in anger.

“I’m sorry” Gina said and immediately three huge men came into view.

Camella took some steps behind as fear gripped her, she recognized the one in the middle, he was the one who almost rapped her.

“Nice meeting you Camella Martinez” He said with that smile on his l-ips.

Roxanna looked at the entrance and saw a lady with them, her eyes w¡den as she recognized her to be Gina.

Camella discreetly made a sign for her to hide. She quietly stood from the couch and hid herself where she could see all what was happening.

“We meet again Camella” The man said and car-ssed her shoulder.

Camella shifted away in fear.

“Please don’t harm me, I’ll repay you everything you have her but please don’t do this to me” Camella begged while crying.

The man laughed dryly

“Money isn’t a bother for me, what I want is your body” He whispered in her ears

“Men un..dress her” He said and the men walked to Camella. One held her firmly while the other un..dressed her.

“Please, have mercy” She begged as tears flowed down her eyes.

“Sorry beb, mercy doesn’t exist in my agenda. I was going to have you all by myself but adding the fact that you ruin this gorgeous face I’ll have you with my men.” He said like it was nothing.

“Boys place her on the the couch.” He said and they picked her up and played her on the couch.

“NOO!!” she scre-med and tried to get off their grip.

She kept crying, trying to get off their grip but it was impossible.

On the other hand, Roxanna closed her mouth in order to prevent her cries from being heard. Tears flowed out of her eyes as she watched her sister being rapped by the men one after the other.

She wanted to help her but what possible could she do, she’s useless. She closed her eyes but that couldn’t prevent her from hearing her sister’s cries and scre-ms.

“Boss, this lady is sure great!” One of the men said…

“Enjoy yourself” He said as he walked out of the house.

Roxanna glared at him with so much hatred in her. She kept crying and suddenly stopped when she didn’t hear her sister’s scre-m and cries…

“Don’t tell me she’s dead” One of the men asked as they check her vitals.

“She is!!” The other replied…

“I can’t possibly fk a corps. Let’s get out of here” He said and they left shortly.

Roxanna eyes was wide open in h©rror as she heard what the men said. She came out of her hiding as soon as the men walked away then she walked towards her sister.

Her heart shattered in pieces as she saw her sister lying lifelessly on her own pool of bl.ood.

Her knees gave up and she fell on the floor crying loudly.

“What have we done to deserve this” She said while crying.
