Dex’s apartment….! 10:50am…!

*Ding ding!* The doorbell rings.

“Coming!” Micah yells from the living room.

He rushed to the door and quickly opens it… his mouth hangs slightly open and a small surprised frown appears on his face.

“Xander?!” He asked like he couldn’t believe his eyes, he quickly bows his head.

“Alpha prince!”

Xander acknowledge his greeting with a tap on his shoulder.

“Are you here for Alexa?”

Xander nods, he tilts his head and glance around the living room.

“Oh, she’s still sleeping!” Micah replies.

“Sleeping?!” Xander asked and checks his wrist watch. “By this time?” He frowns.

Micah laughs lightly. “Yeah, she doesn’t always get enough sleep until we moved here… so Will and I decided to let her sleep some more!” He explained.

Xander nods in understanding… Just then Will’s heavy footsteps are heard coming towards them.

“Alpha prince!” He greets xander and smacks Micah’s head.

“Hey!” Micah argued but Will shuts him up with a glare.

“You’re really bold, huh? You couldn’t invite the Alpha prince in!”

“Oh!”

Will glares at him one more time and turns to Xander with an apologetic smile.

“Alpha prince, forgive my brother for his insolence.. please do come in!” Will ushers him in.

He pulled Micah to his side and make way for Xander to walk in… Xander steps in and walk into the living room.

Will and Micah followed him. He sits on a sofa and gestures them to sit down too.. they complied.

“William, you don’t have to be formal everytime you see me.. I’m your brother-in-law and I’d appreciate it if you treat me as such!”

Will nods, Micah turns to Will with a smirk that says *I wasn’t wrong!*

Micah turns to Xander with a nervous smile.

“So… just to be clear, I can scold you if you hurt my sister?”

Xander thinks about and nod slowly.

“Yeah, but I’m an Alpha prince, don’t over do it… I’m afraid I don’t take orders from anyone!”

“Yeah! Yeah! I still prefer my head on my neck anyway!” Micah said… Now it’s Will’s turn to smirk at Micah.

Micah huffed and crossed his arms on his chest. There’s a brief silence but Xander broke it.

“Right! How about your the rogue that killed your parents.. have you been able to track him down?” Xander asked.

Will sighed and shakes his head… Micah leans back on the sofa and gro-n.

“That guy is a fox!” Micah gro-ns out.

“A fox?” Xander and Will asked. feeling a bit confused.

“I have been hanging out with all his sluts…but somehow he gets to know and breaks up with them before I can get any information out of them!” He say.

“Why?” Xander asked.

“It’s a plan made by us to catch him…we thought his girlfriend would know where he is..but each time we’re closer he breaks up with them!” Will said.

Micas shakes his head.

“I earn a playboy’s reputation for nothing…if I meet my mate and she hears about my reputation..I’m sure she’ll reject me for sure!”

Will rolled his eyes at Micah’s dramatic statement. Xander frowns slightly…he nods.

“Then you should change your plan… going out with his girlfriends won’t yield any results!” He said.

“Yeah, thinking about it now..it was a pretty bad idea…now my sister thinks I’m the ladies’ man!” Micah laments dramatically.

“Micah, be serious!” Will cautioned him…then turns to xander. “We’ll change our plan!”

Then there’s a moment of silence….Xander sniffs the air and his gaze settled on Alexa’s door.

Will and Micah noticed his gaze and Will clears his throat.

“I don’t think she’ll wake up anytime soon!” Will said.

Xander’s gaze still doesn’t move away from the door… Micah leans on the table.

“Alpha, how about you go in,side and wait for her!”

Will smacks his head and he whined.

“What? She’s his mate after all” he turns back to xander with a smile. “Go on!”

Xander turns to him with a somewhat worried expression.

“What if she gets angry?”

Micah scoffs and slaps Xander’s shoulder..though Xander finds it offensive but doesn’t say anything.

“You’re her mate, she can’t stay angry at you… besides, if she’s angry, you’ll know how to calm her down!”

Will simply stares at his brother in astonishment… wondering how he could be so free discussing these things with his sister’s mate.

“Ok!” Xander agrees.

Micah gets up and pulled Will up with him…. though Will reluctantly lets Micah pulled him.

“Will and I are going out!” He said.

“But if she wakes up and….”

“Alpha, I’m creating opportunity for you…when she wakes up, take her out for breakfast…find any excuse to take her out”

Xander frowns.

“Doesn’t that mean I’m indirectly asking her out?”

“Yeah, if you ask her out directly..she won’t go with you!”

Xander nods in understanding as he realizes a lot of sense in Micah’s words.

“We’re out!” Micah said and drags Will along.

*We’ll spend the day with mate! Mate will love us!* Liam dances happily in Xander’s head.

“I hope so too!” Xander said and head to Alexa’s room.

Alexa’s pov 🎀

I smiled as I feel hands car-ssing my hair… fingers playing with my hair.

I grab onto my pillow and snuggle into it more…it feels so warm and a little bit….hærd?!

Since when did my pillow suddenly becomes hærd?

I sat up and yawned with my eyes closed, after yawning to my heart content…I opened my eyes and saw…..

“Xander?!” I exclaimed.

“Hello, baby!” He waves.

Wait…how did he get into my room? I looked down at myself…I’m wearing my see through nightie.

I looked back at him… he’s staring at my…chest?!

I quickly kicked him off the bed and released a very loud, ear piercing squeal.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!”

He gets up quickly and gro-n painfully as he holds his ribs… I guess I kicked too hærd.

“Baby, you’re too harsh!”

I glared at him and grab the blanket in my arms and wraps it around my chest.

“What are you doing in my room?! How did you get in?!”

He smiles and scratches the back of his neck… His ears turns pink… Oh my God! Is he blushing?!

“I….”

“Wait… What are you even doing in my house?!”

“Rehearsal”

I frown.. then it dawned on me that we agreed he’ll come over to my place for our rehearsal… Well, he concluded on his own.

“Rehearsal? At this early hour?!” I growled.

“Baby, it’s already 11:25am!” He said and showed me his wrist watch.

A gasp leaves my mouth.

“11:25am?!”

I can’t believe this… This is literally the first time I slept for a very long time… No nightmares!

“I practiced all night, I can sing the notation now.. should I…”

“No!” I interrupt him. “Please, spare my ears!”

“I can sing!”

“No, please”

“I can.. I was joking yesterday!”

I rolled my eyes.. what a liar.

“Right! Now get out of my room!”

“Why?” He asked.

This is the silliest question I’ve ever heard… I looked down at myself and back to him hoping he’d understand what I meant.

But he only knits his brows more in confusion.

“Xander, I wanna freshen up!”

“Oh!” He stands up. “You want me to help you take off your nightie?”

“What?!”

This guy is dumb! The dumbest guy ever liveth!

“You said you wanna freshen up!” He said like he doesn’t understand why I’m scre-ming.

“Huh?”

“So… Should I help you take off your nighties and set the water for you?”

I picked a pillow and throws it at him and gro-n frustratingly.

“You pervert!”

“How? I just wanna help you!”

“Don’t you know I’m a girl?”

He frowns.

“But that shouldn’t be a problem… I won’t look!”

I shut my eyes and inhaled deeply… I hold onto the blanket tightly and grind my teeth against each other.

“Get. Out!” I growled.

He stares at me quietly for a brief moment and head out… I released a long breath when I heard the door closed.

I jumped off my bed and dash into my bathroom.

“Ahh!” I sighed deeply. “I feel so fresh!” I said and steps into the living room.

Xander gets up and walk towards me.. his hands tucked in his pocket.

He stops in front of me and sniffs around me… He smiled in contentment.

“Why are you still here? Where are my brothers?”

“They.. out?”

I frown.

“They .. out? What does it mean?”

“I mean they went out!”

Hmm… My eyes moved to the dinning table and I’m met with disappointment.. no food.

Maybe it’s in the kitchen… I rushed over… still no food.

“Are you hungry? I can take you out for breakfast”

“No, thanks!”

“Are you sure? I know a nice restaurant”

I still shake my head in disagreement.

“What are you really doing here?”

“I came for our rehearsal” he replied.

I slipped into a sofa.

“Too bad, my voice is still asleep.. so no practice today!”

“Huh?”

“No practice, go home!” I closed my eyes and pretend to be asleep.

He stayed silent for a moment and sits next to me.

“How about I give you a tour of my town!”

My ears pricked up and I quickly sits up.

“Tour?”

“Yeah! You’re new in town and there are many places you don’t know yet… As your friend I have volunteered to be your tour guide!”

Tour around town? I’d really love that! At least I should know the town I’m living in better.

“Ok! But we won’t stay too long outside!”

He nods quickly and grabs my hand and pulls me towards the door.

“Is this the kind of tour you promised to give me?” I asked Xander as he look through a show glass.. searching phones.

We’re currently in a phone shop… Xander said he broke his phone so he needed to buy a new one!

“We’re on the tour!” He replies simply.

“Really?”

“Yeah.. now you know where the phone shop is!” He said.

Oh God! I don’t know if he’s funny or foolish!

“This is not the kind of tour I was thinking!”

He stops searching and turns to me… He studied my expression and noticed I’m quite upset.

“Fine! I’ll take you on a real tour after I pay for….” He turns and picks any phone his hand fell on. “… After I pay for this!”

Then he rushes off to the cashier… I don’t know what took him so long.

Someone bumped into me from behind… I turned with a frown and saw a guy around my age.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to!” He apologised.

“It’s fine! Thankfully, I didn’t break anything!”

He nods and smiled at me, I gave him a forced smile in return.

“I’m Brett and you are….?” He stretched out his hand for a handshake.

“Alexa!” I take his hand just to be polite.

“Alexa!” Calls as if tasting my name in his mouth. “It’s a nice name!”

I simply nod.. I just find out my name is nice.

“I moved here last night, it’s nice to meet you!” He said still holding my hand.

I thought I was gonna be the only one new in town… A loud growl suddenly erupt from behind me and I quickly withdrew my hand in reflex.

I turned… Xander stands a few feet away with his fists balled by his side and anger hooded his eyes… He glares pointedly at Brett.

“Who’s that dude?” Brett asked.

“My… Friend!”

Brett nod but frowns.

“But why is he glaring at me?” He asked equally glaring back at Xander.

I frown too cause I don’t know how to answer his question… Cause honestly, since I knew Xander he’s never frown at me before.

The cause of him getting angry now is something I don’t understand.

*Wolfsbane!* He growled lowly in a doubled voice.

I feel like something’s gonna go wrong… I don’t know but I keep feeling like I should get Xander out of here before something bad happens.

I turned to Brett and whisper.

“Sorry, but I gotta go!”

I rushed to Xander and grabs his arm.

“Xander, let’s go!”

Xander doesn’t budge, he stand still like he wanna attack Brett any minute.

I hold his face in my hands and look him straight in the eyes.

“Xander, I’m hungry, let’s go and eat!”

He stares in my eyes and slowly I see the anger vanish from his eyes.

“Let’s go!” I told him quietly.

He nods and let me drag him away..but not before glaring at Brett maliciously.

Alexa’s pov 🎀

Xander’s grip on my hand very tight as he pulls me along the street, I didn’t try to get away.

He’s been keeping a straight face since we left the phone shop.. like he’s angry at something.

I wonder if he knew Brett from somewhere… Cause I saw hatred in his eyes when he was glaring at Brett.

Could it be they were once friends? Friends turned enemies?

“Er… Xander.. c-can you slow down?”

“No!” His deep doubled voice answers… I think something is wrong with his throat!

“Xander, can we stop and rest for a few minutes? I really can’t keep up with your pace!”

He’s walking too fast, like I’m running after him.. literally!
He stops and turns to me with his eyes shut… He raised my hand and sniffs it.

“We need to wash your hand, you reek of that bastard!”

I frown and perceive my hand… I didn’t perceive anything more than my perfume.

“Something is wrong with your nose! And why are you closing your eyes?!”

He starts walking again and pulling me along… I twisted my ankle and he stops abruptly.

“Xander, I really can’t walk let’s eat first!”

He turns to me and opens his eyes. “Let’s watch his dirty scent off you first!”

I gasped loudly and stared at his eyes in shock.. I point at his eyes.

“Y-your.. your.. eyes… Why….?” I stutter not knowing what to say…

I don’t know if I’m seeing things..but his eyes are yellow..like pure yellow!

He quickly blinks his eyes a few times and they’re back to their normal hazel green.

“Something is wrong with your eyes! They.. they changed colors!”

He shakes his head.

“My eyes are fine!”

“Then why did they change colors?”

“It must be the reflection of the sun!” He replied.

I looked up and frown.

“Where’s the sun?”

He looked up too and clears his throat, he opens his mouth to speak but nothing came out.

“You should have your eyes checked.. I think you’re having a serious eye problem!”

He wants to reply but my stomach growling cuts him off.

“Let’s go! I know where we can eat!”

“Where? I hope it’s not far from here? I just sprained my ankle and I don’t think I can walk a long distance!”

“It’s far but I’ll carry you!”

“Carry me?!”

He nods… No boy have ever carried me before except my brothers.

Before I could reject his offer, he’s already swoops me in his arms.

I smiled subconsciously… I like the feeling I’m getting right now.

“So… Where are we going?”

“My home!”

“Your home?!”

“Yeah!”

“Put me down! I can’t go to your home!”

Going home with him is like going to get his parents approval.

“I can’t go home with you!”

“Why? But you’ve been there before!” He said.

“Yeah, I went there for a case”

“Well you’re going to your classmate’s home to eat, I don’t see anything wrong with that!”

Right! I’m going to my classmate’s home.. what’s wrong with that?

“Let’s go!” I said…

“Close your eyes!” He told me.

I frown. “Why? I wanna see the scenery along the way!”

“You can’t, everything will pass in a blur!”

“But I wa….”

“Just close your eyes and hold on tight!” He said.

I nod and did as he directed.

Before Xander takes off, he sent a quick mind-link to his father.

*Dad, call a quick pack meeting now!* He said through mind-link.

He looked at his mate, she shuts her eyes very tight and held onto him tightly.

He smiled and shakes his head, his eyes settled on her l-ips as she bites her lower lip…. wishing he is the one biting them instead.

*Just try it!* Liam said in his head.

*Shut up!*

*Imagine how cute she’ll look under us with our d**k buried deep in her tight p*ssy!* Liam purrs.

Xander scoffs.

Meanwhile, Brett sneakily followed Xander.. he stops at a safe distance and watches him from there.

A man joins him and after watching Xander take off, he turns to the man.

“Are you sure he’s the Alpha prince?”

“Yes!”

“What about the girl.. who’s she?”

“She seems to be his mate!”

Brett nods and turn into a nearby Cafe… They find a table outside and sits down.

“Is she a wolf too?”

“No! She’s human, but….” The man trails off.

“But what?”

“Her brothers are wolves, we don’t know if she’ll transform later!”

Brett nods thoughtfully and smirks.

“Interesting! This is gonna be more interesting than I thought!” He mutters… his hand tapping on the table.

“So, what should we do now?”

Brett doesn’t answers him…he inhaled deeply.

“The wolf scent you put on me, how long will it last?”

“Three months at maximum!”

“Good, I’ll stay here for three months!”

“What? What if they find out you’re not a wolf? They’re gonna kill you!”

He scoffs.

“I smell exactly like them now and you said it’ll last for three months…I’ll find way to leave before the scent wears off!”

The man stared at him with a worried expression.

“But…”

“Jeff, I’ll stay, that girl seems interesting….I want her!”

Brett smiles. Jeff sighed deeply…he doesn’t agree with Brett’s idea but he doesn’t say a word.

“Take some rogues..they should attack their packhouse, I wanna confirm if he’s truly the alpha prince!” He paused. “I want to know how capable he is…what I’m dealing with!”

“Yes, sir!” Jeff said and walks away.

Brett smiles brightly. “This is gonna be very interesting!”

Alexa’s pov 🎀

I know I said my brothers are fast runners but I swear.. they’re nothing compared with Xander.

He’s super fast!

“We’re here!” He said.

I raised my head… we’re standing in front of a very big building.

This building can house hundreds of people…I mean, I haven’t seen any house as big as this.

“Whose house is this? Yours?” I asked.

“No…my family house!” He said with a smile.

“Your family house?!”

He nods.

“You brought me to your family house?!”

He nods again.

“Why did you bring me to your family house?!”

I thought we were going to his home… there’s I’m already quite familiar with the queen but here, I don’t know anyone!

What will I discuss with them? I don’t connect with people easily…what if they question my relationsh¡p with Xander?

What will I reply them?

“Don’t worry, baby, my family are friendly people..besides you know a few of them already”

“I don’t know them! I don’t know anyone here, take me back to…..”

Just then, the doors open and I hear a familiar voice.

“Alexa is here!”

Joyce? I turned and truly it’s her…she jumps forward and pulled me into a brief hug.

“Joyce, what are you doing here?” I asked.

“I live here!” She replied.

“You live here?”

She nods, does that mean she’s Xander’s family? Does that makes them cousins?

“I told you, baby, you already know few of them!” Xander said.

“So.. she’s your cousin?”

“Yeah!”

Phew! Thank God! There’s somebody I know here! Joyce grab my hand and pulled me in.

“Let’s go in, everyone is waiting!” She said.

Currently, we’re in a big living room…girls of my age are all sitting round a table.

Joyce throws her arm around my shoulder and smiles proudly…these girls have been flattering me with complements since she introduced me as Xander’s friend.

“Don’t worry, they already love you.. just try to get along with them!” Xander said.

I smiled awkwardly, not that I mind if they don’t like me.. but I feel happy to know they love me.

“I have something very urgent to discuss with my dad upstairs… I’ll leave with Joyce for now, ok?”

I simply nod. He leans down and k-ssed my forehead, I glared at him but he simply winks at me and runs off towards the stairs.

“Come on, let’s sit down!” Joyce said.

She pushes me on a sofa gently and sits next to me… A girl sitting a sofa on my right side smiles at me.

“I’m Daisy” she said and reach out her hand. “I feel so honored to sit with you today!”

She speaks as if I’m some kind of goddess!

I take her hand. “I’m Alexa, I feel honored too!”

The others introduced themselves too… there’s one among them that talks a lot… Her name is Eleanor!

Just the few minutes I came in, I’ve got to know her kind of person… she’s like an open book!

“Goodness! I thought our prince is cursed never to have a girlfriend.. until he found you!” Eleanor said… like I said, she’s being doing all the talking since I came.

Wait.. girlfriend?! Is that what Xander told them?! That puppy dog, he shouldn’t let me see him or he’ll get it from me!

“Thankfully, you’re beautiful.. you and our prince will give birth to very cute pups!”

Pups?! I guess she meant babies.

“I can’t wait for you two to get married and….”

“Whoa! Whoa! Eleanor!” I cut her off.

She stops and stares at me impatiently, I know if I don’t say something she’ll starting talking again.

“Xander and I are not dating” I told her.

“Huh?!” They all gasped in surprise.

There’s a moment of silence as they all stare at me with sad eyes.

“You’re joking, right?” Rita asked.. she’s the quiet one among them.

She sound sad… Eleanor burst into laughter and claps her hands as if she just enjoyed a show.

“She’s joking, our prince is so handsome, who wouldn’t fall for that pretty face, right?”

They all nod..I huffed pretty face with low EQ!

Just then Miss Damien walks in..my eyes grew wide in surprise…she walks towards us and sits down.

“Your highness!” They all greeted her.

“Please, when are you gonna stop doing that?” She asked with a smile.

She turns to me and smiled brightly.

“I heard Xander’s girlfriend is here but didn’t believe it until I saw you now!”

“I’m not his girlfriend…and what are you doing here?” I asked.

Joyce slaps my shoulder lightly.

“She lives here too!”

“Huh?”

“She’s Xander’s sister!”

“Xander’s sister?!” I take a closer look at her face. “But she looks nothing like Xander!”

Miss Damien chuckles and carried the plate if grape on the table.

“Yeah, I know…I inherited the good genes of my mother!” She said.

I know Xander is handsome but Miss Damien is just an angel from venus!

She’s very beautiful… though she can’t compare to my Xander.

“You’re truly beautiful..I wouldn’t know you’re Xander’s sister!”

“Well unfortunately I’m that big head’s sister!” She laughs.

But she suddenly stops laughing and sniffs the air… what’s with these people and sniffing?

“Mate!” She said.

She gets up and sniffs around, then her gaze stops on a particular s₱0t…I followed her gaze and my eyes fell on Will.

I quickly stands up…what is Will doing here?!

He’s staring at Miss Damien intently…like they’re communicating silently.

“Mate!” They both said at once.

I frown. Why are they calling each other mates? Maybe they went each other before.

“Will?” I called but I guess he’s not listening to me.

“Will?” I called again, he still doesn’t gives me his attention.

I moved closer to him and shake his hand, he snaps out if his daze and faces me.

“Alexa?” He asked.

“Hm-mm!” I nod and narrowed my eyes at him. “Who do you think I am? Miss Damien?”

I see his ears turn pink… he’s blushing! Could it be that my brother has fallen in love? Love at first sight?

“What are you doing here?” I asked.

“Er…the king..he…king….” I frown.

Will is stuttering?! Strange! I turned back to peek at Miss Damien… she’s smiling and blushing.

I turned back to Will.

“Are you here to see the king?”

“Y-yeah!” He replied.

“Then go!”

“Oh!” He stares at Miss Damien one more time before running towards the stairs.

Miss Damien grabs my hand and pulls me back to the sofa.

“Do you know that guy?”

“Yeah, he’s my elder brother!” I replied.

She nods.

“Can you tell me what he’s like?”

“Huh?” Why would she want to know what Will is like?

“I want to know more about him!”

Hmm..I guess she and Will have fallen in love at first sight. That will be a good thing, at least Will can have a love life now.

“Tell me! Tell me!” She urges me.

I guess I should tell her a little about him…I just hope they’re meant to be together.

“Well, Will is a great guy..he might pretend like he doesn’t care but trust me he does…he puts his loved ones first in everything and he…..”

The sound of glass crashing cuts me off…we got up and rushed forward to check out what happened.

But our legs stayed rooted on the s₱0t…a gaint wolf with red eyes stands by the broken glass…this wolf reminds me of my nightmares.

Those red eyes are just exactly like this!

“Rogue!” Joyce and the others growled and glares at the wolf in disgust.

Soon we see other wolves breaking in through the glass windows… they’re eleven in numbers… don’t ask why I counted….and before we know it they’re encircling us.

We’re outnumbered… we’re only ten..no, nine! I’m not included.

“They bloody came at the wrong time!” Miss Damien said.

“W-wrong time ..what do you mean!” I asked as I hear my heart beating fast.

I’m scared…I remembered how that red eyes wolf devoured my parents mercilessly.

What are those wolves in my dreams doing here? Could it be I’m dreaming? Have they come to devour me too?

“Miss Damien, what should we do? We can’t fight them off when Alexa is here!” Joyce said.

Fight them off? They can’t fight them off…my parents tried but they lost their lives instead.

“Someone should mind-link Xander and the alpha King now!” Miss Damien commands.

A wolf leap forward with his claws ready to lash Miss Damien face but she catches it’s paws and kicks it off… She released a painful gro-n.

“Their paws are coated in silver!” She said.

“Silver?!” Joyce exclaimed.

“Then how come they’re still full of energy?” Eleanor asked.

I’m confused, I don’t know what they’re talking about but what’s in front of me won’t let me ask any questions.

“I don’t know! Why is Xander not here yet?!” Miss Damien growls.

“His mind-link is blocked!” Rita said.

The wolves look like they’re gonna attack any minute… their red eyes held so much hate and anger.

“We have no choice! We should stall them!” Miss Damien said.

“How?” They asked.

She takes a glance at me and gently pushes me aside.

“Everyone, try to fight in your human form!” He commands them and they nod their heads.

What human form?!

The wolves charge forward and the fight begins… The girls catches their paws and try as much as they can to stop it from landing on them.

Miss Damien carries a wolf and throws it across the room, the wolf got up instantly and charges towards her with great speed.. it uses it snout to push Miss Damien away and she lands on the floor but just like the wolf, she got up at once.

The scene feel so familiar.

*Run! Alexa run!* I hear a female voice shout in my head.

The wolf joyce was holding tries to get away but Joyce didn’t give it a chance… How can they be this strong to fight against these wolves.

Another wolf lashes her back from behind and she howled painfully but doesn’t released the wolf she’s holding.

I saw big cut marks on her back and her white dress quickly turns red from the bleeding.

I should try to help too…but guess I’m too scared to move, my wh0le body is shaking!

*Run! Alexa run!* Am I having nightmares without sleeping?

My heart beat increased as I watch a wolf target Rita’s neck and Rita howled painfully and Eleanor rushes over to help her.

She pulled the wolf away and throws it on the floor. I raised my head and saw a wolf charging at me…I can’t fight…I should just wait for my death.

I shrieked and quickly squat and hide my face in my hands.. bracing myself waiting for the pain.

I waited and waited but the pain didn’t come.

I opened my eyes and saw Xander standing in front of me with his fist balled by his side… though I’m seeing his behind.

He turns to me and flashed me a reassuring smile.

“Don’t worry, princess, I’m here!” He said.

“X-xander… they’re… they’re….” I couldn’t finish my words and points frantically at the wolf charging at him from behind.

Xander turns and… his clothes starts ripping…I hear his bones cracking.

I stared wide eyed as his fingers turns claws…his head reshaping…long hair sprouting out of his skin….a tail appears on his butts… and within the twinkling of an eye… he’s on all fours.

A gaint wolf suddenly stands in place of Xander…he turns to me and I meet with yellow eyes…just like those I saw earlier.

He turns away and charge at the other wolf…both of them crashing into each other.

“X-xander… X-xander….you…..” I fell down and darkness surrounds me.
