Chapter 8.

So how’s your girlfriend, she asked, while we both were cleaning.

I don’t know, I replied.

What do you mean, you guys haven’t been talking lately, she asked.

They’ve been no talking, I literally don’t even have a girlfriend, I confessed.

Seriously, she asked surprisingly.

Yeah, are you surprised, I asked.

Of course I mean, what about Treasure Victor, she asked.

Her question really surprised me because I never told her anything about Treasure neither were we dating or had dated before.

Now we’re done, let’s go get ready for the breakfast, I said.

We left the kitchen, and both went upstairs.

Coincidentally, the room she was given was beside mine.

First to finish, she said.

You bet, I said opening my door and quickly entering into my room.

I undressed, and quickly entered into the bathroom, within a second, i switched on the shower.

Minutes later I was done, I left the bathroom and went into my room.

I dried my self with my towel and applied cream on my body.

Soon I was done, and headed to my wardrobe.

I took a black short and a blue T-shirt.

I wore them, left my room and headed down to the kitchen.

I found sister cherry already in the kitchen.

I win, she said.

I thought ladies take longer in bathroom more than guys,I asked her heading to the fridge to get the juice.

Well not this kind of lady, she said.

Alright alright, shall we, I said carrying the juice.

She went to the table and carried the plantain and the scotched eggs she had already put in different big plates.

We shall, she said after carrying the big plates.

Breakfast is served, announced sister cherry, dropping the food on the table and I also dropping the jar of juice.

My parent, sister christabel and brother jason were already sitted at the dining.

What do we have here, brother jason said reaching to open one of the big plates.

Mr Man, it’s a surprise, sister cherry replied him.

Then let’s see the surprise, sister christabel said impatiently.

I bowed like a pro chef, and opened the biddings of the big plates.

Wow, They all exclaimed.

This will taste so yummy, my mum teased.

So what are we waiting for, let’s eat, my dad said.

No wait, I said making everyone stop.

Chapter 9.

I ran up to my room and got my phone, I came back immediately.

They all looked at me when I came down, I opened my phone camera and told them we are taking some pictures for memories.

We have ten seconds arrange ourselves, I said before dropping the phone on the table and tapping on the screen

I ran back to them and arrange myself to fit in

Alright for memories everybody I said.

And we all shouted for memories.
Click click click my phone camera sound gave.

I went and got the phone, the pictures were very nice, I tagged it, ”every shot tells a story.

I could see as my dad smiled, sister christabel also, brother Jason also, sister cherry crossed her hand around my shoulders, and then my mum, I noticed her eyes were teary, I immediately turned to her and saw her cleaning it up stylishly so one could notice but I did.

It seems she sensed I was looking because she raised her gaze to me.

I smiled and told her, everything will be fine

Alright alright sit down Mr and Mrs chef,let’s eat, my dad said.

Lead us in prayer darling, my dad said referring to my mum.

Alright, all eyes closed, she said.

My mother said a brief but powerful prayer and ended.

Amen, we all said.

Sister Cherry and i stood up and shared the food for everyone.

We all began eating.

So our flight is in the next 35minutes, my dad said.

In that case after the meal, I’ll drop you guys off at the airport.

I’ll follow suite, sister cherry said.

We’ll do the dishes and clean up the house, brother Jason said, speaking for himself and sister christabel.

And today is game night, Team Jay Jay and team Savvy, he added.

Looks like you all will be having so much fun, my mum teased.

We all were done eating, and I stood up heading to my dad’s drawer to get his car key.

Sister was going outside to wait.

Brother Jason and sister christabel took the dishes to the kitchen.

I carried the car key and went to get my phone from the dining table.

I could hear my mum telling sister christabel and brother jason to please take care of my very well.

My mum really cares for me.

She came out from the kitchen and I quickly acted as if I just got to the dining.

All right, we’re leaving now,. My dad announced.

Good bye brother, good bye sister, brother jason and sister christabel said.

Safe trip, brother jason added.

So what about your luggages, I asked.

It’s been taken care of already, we don’t need to carry any here, my dad said.

Hmmmm enjoyment trip, sister christabel teased from the kitchen.

I opened the door and we all went out.

I unlocked the car and we all got in.

Sister Cherry was surprised because she saw me sitting at the driver’s seat.

Are you the one driving, she asked.

No, I’m the one conducting, I said and my parent laughed.

He can drive, my mum told sister cherry.

Wow, sister cherry exclaimed.

And funny enough, none of us taught him, nor sent him to a driving school, my mum added.

We were just surprised as you are the day we wanted going out and he said he was going to drive, my dad said.

Okay let’s go then mr driver, sister cherry teased me.

I ignited the car engine, and soon we were on the road.

Here we are, I said, parking the car at the parking lot.
