On their way going to Eva’s house,
“My love am so happy that your parents like me and they are amazing people”
Eva said feeling so happy.

“I told you that they will like you because they know you are perfect and good for me”
He said to her with smiles.

As they were going the car break down,
“What’s wrong?
Eva asked.

“I don’t know,let me check”
He came down and opened the car to know where the problem is coming from,he checked the engines and even the battery but still don’t know what’s wrong with the car.

Eva came down and asked,
“Did you know where the problem is coming from?

“Not at all but this car has not been faulty before”
He said staring at the engine to see if he will find where the fault is coming from.

“What are we going to do now Fred?

“I guess I have to call the mechanic right away”

“The Mechanic! Is late ready so I suggest you should call the driver to bring in another car then take this one to the mechanic tomorrwo”
She suggested.

“That’s good,let me call him right away”
He said and dailed his number.

He told him what happened and directed him where to meet them.

They leaned on the car waiting for the driver,Fred started staring at her r0mantically.

“What is it Fred?

“You know I have not k!$s you today”
He said staring at her l-ips.

She laughed and said,
“You are not okay you Mr k!$ser”

“Oh yes am not okay,your cute l-ips are always driving me crazy don’t you know that My love and passion for you grows more with each passing day the thought of yöu2r gorgeous face takes my breath away those lotus eyes fill my heart with happiness,those luscious l-ips I love to k!$s,those long dense hair doing black magic”
He said still staring at her l-ips.

He continued,
“I want to k!$s ur l-ips,i want to play with ur teeth and i want to teaste your tounge”

Eva laughed and said,
“C’mon am not a toothpaste”

“You gonna be my toothpaste,loving you can only be compared to the sand of an ocean, mising you with the warmth of your skin, baby to me you mean the world, i can’t stand without you nor talk without ur l-ips So come and k!$s me my love”
He said drawing his l-ips closer to hers.

“No k!$s for you Mr!
She said and ran in,side the park,Fred ran after her chasing her,they keep on running and playing like teenagers who are in love.

He finally got her and grabbed her on the w–st,
“I have you all to myself now so my k!$s and for making me to chase you all around this park you gonna give me twenty minutes k!$s”
He said with smiles.

“Like Seriously! Twenty minutes k!$s!
She sounded.

“Oh yes! am waiting”

“Am not gonna do that I will only give you a touch”
She said.

He smiled and said,
“Okay,let see then”

She gave her touch and Fred turned to that touch of a k!$s to a serious one and she reciprocated to it.

They were k!$sing and cuddling passionately and all of a sudden it started raining heavy without giving any sign that it will rain.

“Oh mine!
They shouted and laughed.

“Don’t you think Is so r0mantic k!$sing under the rain?
Fred asked with smiles.

Eva smiled and asked,
“How r0mantic is it?

“Don’t you know that k!$sing you is like dancing in the rain; it is an exciting kind of $ens-tion that you can’t help but fall in love with”
He said to her with smiles as she blushes and k!$sed her.

“I just want somebody, who k!$ses me in the rain, holds me tight when I’m sad, and wraps their arms around me when I am cold”
Eva said with smiles,meanwhile Fred’s hands is still around her w–st.

“Am here for you my love so let’s k!$s in the rain, where the rain was so hærd the only thing we could see was each other”
He said.

They started k!$sing and cuddling passionately as the water drops on them so lovely and beautiful.

The thunder strikes scared them off as they ran out to the hiding place to wait for the rain to stop.

“Am feeling cold already”
Eva complained.

“Feeling Cold when am here?
He moved closed to her and said.

“Sit on my laps let’s me cover you”
He said.

She sat down on his laps,he covered her with his body like a baby.

“You know what my Eva if could pull down the rainbow,i would write your name with it and
put it back in the sky and let everybody know
how colorful my life is with an Angel like you”
He whispered to her.

“That’s so lovely Fred”
She whispered back with smiles.

Two hours the rain has not stop and back to Eva’s house the mother has been sick and worried about her.

“Sophia try her again”
She said to Sophia who has been trying to reach Eva thousand of times but not connecting.

“Mother it’s connecting due to the weather until the rain stops that’s when the call will be reachable”
She explained to her.

“Am sick and worried to know how everything went at the Fred’s house,what of something bad happened that’s why she is not here?
She asked being so worried.

“C’mon Mother stop exaggerating,nothing happen is the rain that is preventing her for not being home by now”
She said.

“Even as that some cab man still drives under the rain so I don’t think Is the rain”
She said still thinking that something bad has happened to Eva.

She held her and stood her to the couch and sat her down,
“I think Mrs Lucia what you need now is rest because you are exaggerating too much”

“Its getting to 10pm when will she be home,call her again I need to know how my daughter is doing”
She sounded with a worried face.

“It won’t go through so please calm down she will be here in a matter of time and stop thinking negatively”
She said trying to calm her down.

Back to Fred and Eva,
“Mother will be worried about me right”
She said.

“Yeah,I think you should call her”
Fred suggested.

“That’s what I has been doing but it’s not going through”

He brought out his phone and said,
“That’s bad! There’s no network coverage because of the rain”

“Whom knows how long the rain will last,it is almost three hours we have been here?
Eva asked being so worried.

“That’s what we can not tell but let’s hope for the driver to be here on time so that you can go home okay”
He said.

Thirty minutes later the rain hasn’t stop and Fred saw a car flash coming towards where they parked the car.

“I think the driver is here!
He said and Eva stood up immediately.

“Let’s go then”

“Let’s wait and see if it is him”

They waited for more than five minutes before the driver stops the car and came down with an umbrella looking for them.

“He is the one!
He started waving at him so that he will know where they are but the driver isn’t looking at the direction.

“Pabola we are over here!
He waved and shouted but he couldn’t hear him due to the rain.

He keep on waving even Eva joined him in waving at Pabola finally he saw the wave and rushed to meet them.

“I brought you this Sir!
He said and gave him the umbrella.

He opened the umbrella and covered Eva very well,they got into the car and Pabola drives.

“Pabola tomorrwo get the mechanic to fix the car”
Fred said.

“Okay Sir!
He said polity.

Eva rest her head on Fred’s shoulder and slept off ,twenty minutes they got to the house and Eva is still sleeping.

It has stopped raining,Fred carried her like a bride to the house.

“They are here!
Sophia sounded and rushed to get the door.

She opens the door and shouted with smiles,
“Oh mine! Eva carried by Fred!

“Quite! Did you want to wake her up?
Fred said.

“Good day Mrs Lucia!
He greeted as he went in,side.

“Fred I have been sick and worried about Eva I thought something bad has happened to her”
She said and her heart calmed down knowing fully well that her daughter is okay.

“Something bad! Why will something happened to her when am here to protect her?
He asked and lay Eva on the couch.

“I told her that nothing happened is only the rain that prevented Eva for coming home on time but you know Mrs Lucia used to be when it comes to her daughter safety”
Sophia said.

“Thank you for bring my daughter back home”
She thanked him.

“Is nothing Mrs Lucia,I will going now take care”
He hugged her.

“Okay Fred!

“Let me see him off to the door”
Sophia said and walked him to the door.

“Good night Fred!

“Good night too and help me to send my good night k!$s to Eva when she wakes up”
He said with smiles.

She laughed and said
“I will definitely do that”

He exited from the door,Sophia shut the door and went back to Mrs Lucia.

Mrs Lucia rest Eva’s legs on the couch and sat beside her,
“Mrs Lucia don’t tell me you gonna stay here all night and watches Eva enjoying her beautiful sleep?
She asked and she didn’t get any respond from her.

“Please Mother go and sleep,you need to rest after waiting for a very long time for Eva to come back,let me stay here and I know she will soon wake up then we can go back to the room”
She said.

“Okay,good night then”
She stood and said.

“Good night too Mrs Lucia”
She peeked her and she went to her room.

Few minutes later,Eva wakes up stared around everywhere,
“Sleeping beauty!
Sophia said.

“Am I home already?
She asked.

“No bestie you are still sleeping on Fred’s arms”
She teased her.

“Where is mother? Have she gone to bed?

“Yes,she went in awhile ago”

“Okay!

She yawned and said,
“Bestie am feeling sleepy”

They went to the room and Eva undressed changed over to her night gown while Sophia jumped into the bed and just about to doze off she remembered something.

“That reminds me Eva,Fred said i should give you a good night k!$s on his behalf,what a lovely boyfriend? Here is your k!$s”
She said and pecked her on the cheek,she went back to the bed and dozed off.

Eva lay on the bed with smiles written all over her face remembering the beautiful moment she had with Fred on the rain.

Eva’s two weeks leaves has experied,she went to see the manager as an ordered by the worker.

“Good Morning Sir!
She greeted politely.

He gave her an envelope without answering her greeting,Eva thought what could be written on the envelope.

“What is it Sir?
She asked.

“That’s your sack letter!
He said to her being so mean.

“Sack letter! I don’t think I heard you correctly Sir”
She said with so much confusion written all over her head.

“Eva Sabastine you are fired!
He said still mean.

“Fired Sir! What’s my crime? What warrant me the sack letter?
She asked still confused.

“Eva your service is no longer needed at the restaurant”

“Sir you have not told me what my crimes are to warrant the sack letter,I don’t understand anything”
She said.

“We are tired of your services in this restaurant and you are no longer needed,what don’t you understand?
He shouted.

“Sir for all my handiwork to this restaurant,how I have worked hærdly and tirednessly for months and months with my efforts in this restaurant bringing customers making the restaurant to grow with my skills of cooking this how you will reward me?

“Sir what have I done to deserve this sack letter? Why is my services no longer needed?
She asked in tears.

“No more questions from you,get your things and leave unless you want me to call the security on you”
He shouted.

“Sir no need of calling the security I will leave and thank you for rewarding me like this”
She said in tears and walked out.

The manager shooked his head as he watches her using the door it seems he was forced to do that.

“What is it bestie? Why are you crying?
Sophia asked being so worried.

“I got fired!
She said in tears.

“What did you mean you got fired? how possible is that?
She asked confusingly.

“That’s what I can not explain Sophia but it’s well loosing this job should not mean that I will not get a better one that is so profitable then this”
She said in tears.

“I know that bitch Anne is behind this because there’s no how the manager will fired you without telling your crimes”
She said.

“I knew she is the one too,she thought that making me to loose my job will stop me from loving Fred she don’t know she lied because the more she will be trying to hurt me that’s the more the love I have for Fred will be growing”
She said.

“Yeah,I love you spirit bestie so stop crying for a better job will come on your way”
She said and hugged her so tight.

“Please bestie don’t infrom my Mom about this,you know how she will be if she happen to find it”

“I won’t do such thing okay”

“For the mean time i will start doing my home delivery until got a new job”
She went to the kitchen and grabbed her stuffs.

“I will be going now”

“Okay Bestie see you later at home”
She hugged her and watches her leaving from the restaurant.
