STILL AT THE RESTAURANT
“Your parents want to meet me?
Eva asked surprisingly.

“Oh yeah! I told them about you”
Fred sounded happily.

“You told them about us already?
She asked surprisingly.

“Yeah,they were so happy that’s why they want to meet you”
He said with smiles.

“So soon! You shouldn’t have infrom them about us already”
She said feeling a little unhappy about it.

“But why? Don’t you want me to tell my parents about our relationsh¡p?
He asked being a little confused.

“Is not that I don’t want you to inform them about us but I think Is too early for them to know”
She said.

He held her hand and said,
“No my love! Is not too early at all besides there’s nothing wrong in telling them about us,they noticed their son’s heart filled with overwhelmed of love and decided to know the special person that has taken their son’s heart away that’s why they want to meet you”

“Okay but are you sure they gonna like me?
She asked still not okay with the idea of going to meet his parents.

He gave her a beautiful smile and said,
“Why not? My parents are very good people and they gonna like you and as far as I love you they will like you too okay”

“Okay,I will go and see them tomorrwo”
She said.

He said and k!$sed her on the forehead.

They started eating their food and staring at each other r0mantically with smiles, Fred brought out the bangle he gave her at the Orphange.

“Did you remember this?
He asked showing her the bangle.

“Of course! That’s my bangle! Can I have it back?
She sounded and tried to take it from him but he refused.

“Why did you throw it? I thought you didn’t need it anymore”
He asked.

“I threw it out of anger,I searched for it and couldn’t it find it i don’t know that you picked it for me so now that things has balanced back to normal can i have it back?
She said.

“For sure,is yours and never throw it again”
He said and worn her the bangle.

“I will not, it will Forever be in this my ankle”
She said with smiles.

“You know what I got a surprise for you”

“A surprise!
She sounded happily.

“Yeah!
He replied with smiles.

“Where is the surprise? What is it?
She asked feeling so happy.

“Here it is?
He said and brought out a locket from his suit jacket.

“What’s there?
She asked wondering what could In the locket.

“Oh mine! An bracket!
She shouted excitedly.

He worn her the bracket and asked with smiles.
“Did you like it?

“Oh yes! I love it! My Heart Beats for Eva”
She read what was written on the pendant with smiles.

He placed his right hand on his chest and said,
“This my heart will surely be beating for you,it will never stop beating for you even in the paradise it will keep on beating for you”

She blushes and asked,
“My love for how long will you be this special to me?

He held his hand and said,
“As long as the stars twinkle in the sky,aa long as angels are there up high,till the ocean run dry and till the day i die”
He said and k!$sed her hand.

“Believe me, you are the one,whom my heart finds,whom my mind reminds me of,whom my destiny wants,whom I love the most and whom I want to spend the rest of my life with”
She said and k!$sed him.

He said dragging who love each other more.

Eva gave up with the dragging and said,

He laughed and said,
“Yeah we both love each other more”

They k!$sed so passionately like their lives spends on the k!$s all eyes were other,people were adriming their beautiful love for each other.

“What a lovely couple?
They were mubbling among themselves.

They noticed that all eyes were on them,they withdraw from the k!$s.

“Am feeling so shy right now,Did you see how people were watching us?
Eva sounded covering her face.

He removed her hands from his face and said,
“C’mon don’t cover your face,they are happy to see a loving birds like us so stop being shy okay”

“Fred can we go?
She asked still shy.

“Did you want to go because of shyness or what?

“No Fred! We have spent almost three hours here,I need to go and know how mother is doing”
She said but truly she want to go because of her shyness.

“Okay No problem!
He brought their bill on the table and held Eva’s hand like a gentleman he is and walked out from the restaurant to the car.

He opened the door for her and got in,side,he went in,side and drove out to Eva’s house.

“Thank you so much,I had a great lunch today”
Eva thanked him with smiles at the moment they got to her house.

“All for you my Angel,what makes you happy is what am after”

“So Love by what time will I be coming to meet your parents?

He thought for a while and said,
“I think in the evening will be okay so I will be coming to pick you by 5pm”

“Okay Love!

“Take care and my regards to your Mom”

“Aren’t you coming to say hey?

“Nope, I will see her tomorrwo”

“Okay then tomorrow, love you”

He said and gave her a k!$s.

Eva came down from the car,she waved bye-bye to him while Fred blew a k!$s to her, she watches him drive out before going in,side the house.

She went in,side and met the Mom gisting with Sophia at the sitting room.

“Good day Mom!
She greeted and hugged her with smiles.

“How was the lunch? I hope you had a great day?
She asked.

“Mother why won’t she have a great day when she went out with her heart beat? I know she really enjoyed herself so much”
Sophia said.

“Mother how are you feeling? Have taken you medication?
She asked.

“Yes,Sophia gave it me a while ago”

“Okay,let me go and undress”
She pecked her and walked to her room.

“Mother I will be waiting you shortly let me go and help her out to unzip her gown”
Sophia said and went to the room.

“Babe I need you to tell me the jucy detail about the lunch”
She said and sat on the bed waiting to hear the full gist of what happen at the lunch.

“You won’t even allow me to undress before asking for a gist? Please come and help me to unzip my dress”
She said.

“Did you know how long I have been waiting for you to come back and how long my ear has been itching to hear what happen at the lunch?
She asked and unzipped her gown.

“Bestie you too like gist”
She sounded.

“Babe am still waiting,tell me everything that happen and don’t miss any detail, Did you guys k!$s?
She asked feeling so happy.

“Is only k!$s that you want to hear”
Eva sounded and sat down.

“I know you guys k!$sed but did something else happen like did you guys went out after the lunch?
She asked being so anxious to know.

“We didn’t go anywhere so stop thinking negative,Fred want me to meet his parents tomorrwo”
She said.

“Wow! That’s good!
She shouted.

“No bestie! Don’t you think Is too early for me to meet his parents?
She asked.

“No dear,is not too early it is better for his parents to know you like the way your Mom knows Fred”
She said.

“Am feeling somehow,like his parents won’t like me and they will not accept me for him”

“C’mon bestie stop thinking negatively okay,Fred’s parents will like and accept you too”
She said and hugged her.

“I pray so,let’s go down and prepare dinner”
She said,they went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

Tomorrow’s evening Eva is already prepared to go and meet Fred’s parent but she has been so nervous thinking how the meeting will go,if they will like and accept her as Fred’s girlfriend despite her background.

“Did you think they will like me Mom?
She asked.

“This will be the thousand times you will ask me this question and it will be the thousand times I keep on telling you that they will like you”
She said.

“I have told her to remove any negative thought from her mind and think positive”
Sophia said.

“Mom am being so nervous right now”

“Stop being nervous,I did not raised up a nervous daughter rather a brave daughter who is always ready to accept any situation that may come her and know how to fight it meanwhile Fred’s parents will like you okay”
She said and hugged her.

A knocked came from outside,
“That must be Fred,let me go and get the door”
Sophia said and went to get the door.

“Hey Fred!
She said to him with a hug.

“How are you doing Sophia?
He asked with smiles.

“Am good”

“Good evening Mrs Lucia!
He hugged her with smiles.

“How are you doing Fred?

“Am good and you how are you feeling today? I hope you are taking your medication”

“Oh yes and am much better and strong”

“That’s good to hear,I got you some fruits”
He said and handled her the basket of fruits.

“Thank you so much Fred,Keep it for me and don’t touch it’s only meant for me”
She said referring to Sophia.

“Eva I hope you are ready to go?

“Off course,see you later Mom”
She hugged her.

“It will turn out well okay”
She whisphered to her.

Sophia hugged her and whisphered,
“Stop thinking negative,it will be fine”
She shooked her head in agreement of what she said.

She hugged her Mom again before leaving the house even Fred gave her a hug too,Sophia waved at them at they got to the car and drove out.

Twenty minutes,they got to the house and Eva’ s nervousness increases to one thousand meter.

“Are you sure they gonna like me Fred?
She asked again,that’s what has been disturbing her since yesterday if they will love her or not.

“Off course,they will love you okay”
He answered.

He opened the door for her and they went in,side,
“Dad! Mom! Meet my heart beat Eva!
He introduced her.

Eva went closed to them greeted respectfully,
“Good evening Sir!.

“Evening!

“Good evening Ma”
She greeted with smiles and her heart beating so fast with fear.

“Son I must confess she looks so beautiful”
Mr Ernesto complimented with smiles and Fred smiled.

“Thank You Sir!
She said and her heart beat of fear came down a little bit.

“You can say that again,she is just a damsel”.
Mrs Sarah added.

She thanked her too with smiles,
“Please have a sit”
Mr Ernesto said.

She sat down feeling a little uncomfortable but she gave herself courage to be brave and re ready to answer any further questions politely.

“Fred has told us so much about you,how you guys has been together right from the Orphange home and reuniting back with you brought him so much joy in this life”
Mrs Sarah said and looked at Fred who gave her a beautiful smiles.

“I heard you are a chef and you work in a restaurant?
Mr Ernesto asked her.

“Yes Sir!
She answered politely.

“We will like to taste your meal,what did you say about it?
Mrs Sarah asked with smiles.

“There’s no problem Ma,where is the kitchen I will go right away and prepare a delicious food”
She sounded with smiles.

“So Eva what will you be cooking for us?
She asked.

“Burritos! I miss that her food so much”
Fred shouted in joy.

“Okay since is what Fred what we will also like to taste it too”
She said.

“No problem Ma!
She said with smiles,always smiling.

“Mom,Dad if you taste her Burritos I swear you guys gonna be requesting it everyday”
Fred said feeling so happy that he will be tasting her Burritos which he has missed for a very long time.

“May I use the kitchen please?

“Off course,Fred lead her to the kitchen”
Mr Ernesto said.

Fred led her to the kitchen,she met the maid and greeted her,the maid helped her out in bringing out the ingredient she need for the food.

“Did you need my help?
Fred asked.

She smiled and asked,
“What for? Please Mr I don’t need your help”

“Okay,see you later then”
He said and pecked her on the cheek and made his way out.

Eva’s heart was filled with so much happiness at least his parents welcomed her well even if they have any negative thought about her they have not explode yet her food will make them change their negative thought to positive and they will also accept her.

Twenty minutes later,she was done with the food and dished it out.

“Done already?
Mrs Sarah asked.

“Yes Ma!

“Wow! it didn’t take time like I expected”
She said.

Eva smiled at her,they moved to the dinning table as she served them food according from Mr Ernesto to his wife and to Fred.

“Oh mine! My Burritos I missed you so much!
Fred shouted and started devouring the food.

Eva sat down with smiles waiting for them to taste the food and know what if they like it or not.

Mr Ernesto took a spoonful of the food and complimented her.
“This food taste so delicious!

“Thank you so much Sir!

“You can say that again,this is so yummy! Super yummy!
She complimented and shooking her head feeling the sweet taste of the food.

“I told you guys you gonna like her food,she has magical hands with food”
Fred said still devouring the food.

“You are indeed a real chife Eva”
Mr Ernesto said enjoying the food.

“Eva who taught you how to cook like this?
She asked.

“Nobody Ma! I can say that cooking is a God’s gift for me that’s why I have passion for cooking”
She answered with smiles.

“Wow I love that,you gonna be the best chef in the whole world and I will to see you succeeding in opening your own restaurant”
Mr Ernesto said.

“Thank you so much Sir!

“Can I have more please?
Fred asked.

Eva smiled and dished him another portion,he started devouring it.

“You are here watching us eating won’t you dish for yourself?
She asked and Eva dished a little portion of the food for herself.

After the dinner,the maid helped Eva to cleared out the plates back to the kitchen.

“Eva I must say we are very happy to meet you,we welcomed you whole heartedly as our Son’s girlfriend,this place is now your home you can come anything to visit”
Mr Ernesto said with smiles.

On hearing that,her heart started jumping with so much joy,
“Thank you so much Sir!

“You are welcome and I will like to have this Burritos some other time”
She said.

“No problem Ma! I will be preparing it for you”

“Not only her,even me too”
Mr Ernesto shouted.

“And me too!
Fred shouted.

Eva laughed and said,
“Okay,I will be preparing it for everybody”

“Dad! Mom! I will like to drop her it’s getting late already”

“Okay,my regards to your Mom Eva”
She said.

“Okay Ma,see you some other time”
She said and hugged her.

She went to Mr Ernesto and hugged her too,
“I hope to see you again and again”

“For sure Sir!

Fred held her hand as the parents watches them using the door feeling so excited.
