Anne’s POV
“Anne I’m very sorry, let’s go. you have to clean up” Richærd cooed and held my hand softly with his eyes shimmering like he would cry..
“What about these student who kept pestering my life” I said and all the student scurried away in fright,
I smiled and walked straight to the en-suit in the office, I cleaned up and was offered a new uniform, I can’t just stop smiling as I walked back to my class with Jeremy and my other friends, every student had their gaze on me, they really found it hærd to believe that I’m Richærd’s daughter not when they had thought I was a mere hawker…
“Anne I’m introducing you to all the student and I’m setting a new rule, anyone who dares to pester you would be teacher a serious lesson” my father said as he walked with me to the class,
Immediately we entered the class everyone kept quiet, I could see some student hiding their face, I smiled inwardly and let out a sigh of relief…
Everywhere was as silent as a grave,
“There is no doubt all of you saw what happened recently, I don’t need to tell you all what to do…on no account would anyone make her angry talk more of making her cry, anyone who dares would smell my wrath..” Richærd said in a stern voice that left everyone shivering..
“She isy daughter and my only daughter, from today onwards, she should be treated like a princess” my father added and I felt my head grow high,
How would I ever believe that Anne who was known as a riffraff would one day be treated like a princess..
I walked back to my seat with Jeremy sitting beside me like usual, my father gave many instructions about me, everyone was just gazing around without knowing what to say, I’m very sure they still find it hærd believing everything…
My father ended his speech and walked away…
“Anne I’m sorry” I heard a voice sounded beside me,
I turned to find a female student standing beside me,
I smiled and rolled my eyes,
“Please can’t you just forgive, I…”
“Just shut up, so what made you all turn against me few hours ago?” I asked and she sighed..
“It’s not our fault, it was that if Drake, he brainwashed us, like..he made us believe you are a commoner who wants to overthrow us all, he said many calumny about you..we..”
“Okay fine” I interjected
“You can go, I’ve forgiven you” I said waving my hand over the air
She left and I turned to Jeremy..
“You heard that right?” I said to him and he nodded
“What should I do now..” I inquired
“Report him to your father and make sure he is fired from being the singer to check on your voice” he said and I smiled
Not long after, the school bell rang for break and every student started trouping out of the class,
I and Jeremy walked trudged slowly to the school cafeteria chatting happily, I can’t even stop smiling as every student kept peering at us,
“So when are we acting the scene,i can’t just wait for that day” I said rubbing my hand in glee
“Very soon but before it would happen, drake has to be fired” he said and I nodded
” I’m going to report him now!” I said and he nodded,
“I have to see Sophia so you can go alone, I no one can humiliate you again so there’s no need being with every second” he said with a smile and I nodded
I pecked his cheek and walked right away to my father’s office..
“Wow, my jewel, how are you doing” my father greeted immediately we entered
“I’m not fine!” I replied bluntly and he squeezed his face
“What happened, did any student annoyed you??” He asked with concern
“No, it is Drake, I want him to be fired, send him back to the state where he came from” I whined
“Why do you want him to leave, he is good in…”
“I don’t care!! Just send him away right away, I don’t need him, we can win without him!!” I grumbled and he sighed softly…
“Okay I’ll do it!” He said and I whined
“What is it?” He asked
“Call him right now and dismiss him” I said and he flinched
“Why do you suddenly hate him?” My father inquired with grimace
“He hates me so badly and wants to depress my life, please just do this for me..” I pleaded and he nodded and place a call to Drake immediately..
After some minute, Drake walked into the office, immediately he saw me, he cringed and started looking around frantically
“Get your seat man” my father ordered in a gruffy manner that made him arch his brow…
“What brought about this unexpected visit?” He asked as he say down glancing at me repeatedly
“What is going on between you and Anne?” My father asked and he chuckled
“I’ve nothing to do with this hawker..she is part of those competing for the best voice but she is no where near” he said with a smirk
“You called my daughter a hawker????” My father growled and I could see him shudder
“Are you playing prank on me????” Drake asked with his eyes popped out
“Do I look like a prat to you, what is really going on between you and my daughter!!” He barked and Drake turned his gaze to me then back to my father maybe to know if everything was true…
“I…I…don’t know she is…”
“That isn’t what I asked from you, why did you decide pestering her!!!” He thundered and Drake bent his head silently without saying anything word,
“Just know that you are fired, get your ass back to where you came from, I’m reporting you to the company you work for..you are really a disgrace, humiliating a young girl for your stupid reason!!” He fired and Drake went sober
“I’m sorry” he pleaded and I was forced to smile
“There is no need for that, you’re fired!!!” My father huffed and handed a script to him, them placed a call through, I didn’t even heard whatever he said on phone because I was staring at Drake who was burning in rage..
“To hell with you and this school!!!” Drake suddenly spitted out in anger and dashed out of the office..
I turned to Richærd and he gave me an assuring smile..
“So are you bringing your luggages to your home today?” He asked with a wide smile,
“I’m coming today, you would pick me up after school” I said and he nodded
“I hope that man you were living with isn’t harsh to you in anyway” my father asked
“Yeah dad” I said with a sweet smile…
“I’ll see you after school” I said and walked out..
I rushed straight to the class because the school bell had rang for break closure…
“Wow Drake is fired!!” I announced to Jeremy immediately I sat down beside him
“That suits him” he said chirply
“But don’t you think he would stand against me?” I asked
“He can’t, you are no longer a commoner, your father would make sure you are well protected, very soon you would be a celebrity after we had came out on stage” he said and I hugged him tightly…
The day went faster witg different lessons, before I could know it, the school bell rang for school closure,
I and Jeremy with Richærd drove to my ex stepmom’s house and parked my luggage..
We drove to my new apartment and I couldn’t stop acting crazily, it is just like a miracle, I never expected it, it just happened in a blink of an eye, if anyone should have tell me this years past, I would never believe…
I couldn’t help the gasp that escaped my l-ips as we drove into the mansion that looked exactly like a heaven, I can just find any word to explain house great the house was but what made me feel like slumping was the fact that it was my new home,
Does this means that I’m now a rich girl???

Sophia’s POV
I sat on the bed with Steve beside me,
I had instructed him to be with me since I came back from school, he dares not disobeys me…
“So why should I stay here with you?” He asked
“Because I want you beside me” I replied and lay on his leg..
“What are you doing? Have you gone nut???” He sneered
“Shut up, I want to lie on your leg, it’s soft you know” I said with a grin
“You are drooling over me right?” He asked and I hissed
“That’s what you thought right?” I asked and he chuckled
“It’s the truth ugh??” He asked and I sighed and stood up, I stood up right in front of him with my hand clasped backward
“Steve do you have any feeling for me?” I asked with a grim
“Why that question?” He asked with an arched brow
“I don’t know what to say or how to really explain it but.. Steve..do you love the way your life is now?” I asked and he hissed
“Stop asking me that please, it’s my life and I love the way it is so stop poking nose on my affairs” he said rolling his eyes
“There is no problem but promise you would not take Anne to my father” I said and he glared at me badly
“It Is like you are insane!! That is the main reason why I’m here so why asking for such request” he gruffed
“Do you care about my feelings??” I asked and he sighed..
“I’m not your boyfriend so I don’t think I care” he said out and I peered into his eyes..
“Can you be my.. boy.. frie..nd?” I stuttered blinking my eyes rapidly
I could see him cringe, there was no doubt that my word really struck him, he never expected the word from my mouth, I myself can’t even tell when the word rushed out of my mouth…
We both stared at each other without saying any word…
“Sophia are you the one saying this?” He asked in a soft voice that surprised me, I was thinking he would mock me for telling him my feelings, I had thought he would laugh at me to scorn…
“Yes, Steve, I have just found out deep in me that I am having a strong feeling for you, at first, I had thought it was a mere admiration but as the day went on, I got to realize that I am falling in love with you, it just seem like the feelings kept growing every minute.. Steve.. can you just be my boyfriend, just…”
“Sophia I can’t love!” He interjected with his head sagged downward
“But do you have any feeling for me??” I asked and he took a deep breath and stared at me
“Can we ever fall in love with each other..I’m am ass..ss” he couldn’t complete his statement because I quickly placed my index finger across his l-ips..
“You are not created an assassin, something made it happen, you can stop it..you can stop being it, let begin together” I cooed and he sighed
“I..don’t know how to love” he said slowly
“You can learn it with me” I said with a smile
“Can you just leave, I’m befuddled” he said and I smiled sweetly
“I would, but you’d k-ss me before I leave” I said and he flinched
“Why??” He asked
“I just want it that way” I replied
“I don’t know how to…
“Shhhh…
“Do it” I said and he fluttered his eyes and stood up,
He wrapped his hand round my wa-ist and drew me closer to him, our l-ips were now very close that we could feel each other’s breath..
“Do it..” I whispered and he brought his head closer and plunged his l-ips deeply into mine sending a rush of pleasure down my spine…
I pray he has finally fall in love with me..
