Chapter 7&8

Giselle heard the sound of the door just the movement she was about to pull out

“Holy heavens!” She heard a scre-m as she quickly jumped off the bed

“Who are you?…….How did you get here?….. What are you doing with the prince at sunrise…… What are you doing with my brother! ” Princess Celine ranted all in one minute as she shut the door behind

Giselle turned and saw a young girl dressed in a royal attire. She instantly recognized her as the princess

“please calm down….. I was only trying to help….. I mean no harm please! ” Giselle said taking slow steps towards her

“Don’t come close to me!……. I saw you k-ssing my brother…. Is that what you called help….. ” She said and Giselle shut her eyes and breathed out

“I know I acted like a pervert but I just couldn’t stop myself…… I felt that’s what he needed at this moment…….forgive me my princess……..i only treated his wound, I felt he was about to scre-m out and I don’t want that because I would be caught…… I’m sorry my princess” Giselle said playing with her fingers

Princess Celine raised her head and stared at her brother who was gro-ning……. She saw the scarf tie round his head

“Brother! ” She muttered and rushed to him.

“Big brother…….. Does it hurt? ” She muttered as tears rolled down his cheek

“It hurt just a little……. Can you stop crying now” He said and she blinked her lashed as more tears gestured out of her eyes

Even in pains he spoke………

“are you fine….. Did she hurt you? ” She asked staring at the scar on his head

“I’m getting better….. ” He muttered feeling so strong as ever. A smile curved at the corner of her lip as she nodded slowly

“Father must not know I came here….. I only came to check on you”She said and turned to Giselle

“Thank you for helping my brother but how did you get here….. ” Princess Celine asked and frowned

“One of the prince try to force his way on me and I ran here…….. Believe me princess I never knew it was the prince room. Please don’t hurt me! I would have left but I got stock ” Giselle pleaded.

Princess Celine inhaled deeply and stared at her face

“that might be my second brother…… He’s just a pervert! “Celine snapped out

“It’s fine…… For helping my brother I willl get you out of here” She said and thought of something

“Stay here and watch over my brother….. I will be back” She muttered and Giselle nodded slowly

She watched princess Celine leave and finally let go of the breathe she was holding

“Thank you Lord……! ” she muttered placing her hands together in a powerful mode.

She took slow steps to the prince and sat on the bed

“I’m sorry for the k-ss…. I must admit I acted like a pervert…. ” Giselle said and bit on her lower lip

Prince Norman stared at another direction as he nodded

“Thank you for helping me……….” He said and a smile curved at the corner of Giselle lip.

The door opened again revealing princess Celine. She walked in majestically with some uniform.

“Hey….wear this uniform and follow me. It’s just a maid wear…….. You can use his bathroom and change….. I will wait for you ” Prince Celine said and she nodded

She took the maid wear and walked into the bathroom. She changed quickly and in a minute she was done

She walked out and met princess Celine standing quickly

“let’s leave quickly…… You just have to face the floor and follow me…… No one is gonna suspect anything! ” She said and Giselle nodded

Princess Celine opened the door and popped her head out. She looked to her left and right. She breathed out when she saw no one coming

She came out fully and beckoned for Giselle to do the same. She lead Giselle through the hallway and down to her room

She shut the door behind and faced her

“you can change back and leave…… No one is gonna suspect anything ” Princess Celine said

“Thank you my princess ” Giselle said and princess Celine shook her head

“just Celine will do…… Call me Celine! ” She said and Giselle eyes w¡dened

“And what’s your name? ” She asked Giselle

“I’m Giselle ” She replied back.
“What a cute name you got…..Your name is just as cute as you” She said and Giselle chuckled

“My princess I’m ugly and you know that! ” She said and princess Celine gasped. She walked to her and touched the scar on her face

“Anyone who had said that is a nincompoops” Princess Celine said and Giselle couldn’t help it but laugh out

“You are so beautiful Giselle even with the scar…… I wondered how cute you are gonna look like if this scar is gone completely ” She said making her flushed

“But how did you get into the palace….. Does any of your relatives walked here! “princess Celine blurted out and she nodded

“My father walked here…… My princess I’m sorry for asking, who did that to the prince and why wasn’t him attended to? ” She asked and Celine bite on her lower lip

“I shouldn’t be telling you this but I feel I can trust you. My brother had a partial blindness …… Father hates him for reasons best known to him. I don’t know Giselle my brother is going through pains! ” She said and Giselle

“partial blindness! ” She thought and wondered what the princess met by that.

“Yeah just partial blindness………..He only sees at day….. It’s just a sickness right? But father is making us feel it’s a curse just because he reads mind too. My brother is just a normal being……. and some humans do go blind completely. I don’t know why father is hiding him at day” She muttered and took her lip in

Giselle squeezed her eyebrows and drifted in thought

The prince she saw a moment ago looked fine to her. He doesn’t look blind to her

Her stomach made some crazy noises bringing her out of her thought

“I should change and get going…… My father would be worried about me! ” She said

“follow me lemme show you the bathroom….. ” She said

Elder Kay swept the king study room………. Yeah! That was part of his work here too

Even though he was working, his thoughts were far from him

“where’s my Giselle! ” He drifted into thought again

“Why had she let the evil eyes of the king see her…… He’s gonna kill her immediately he gets to know who she is?? ” He thought and that’s when the king walked in

The accident flash back to his memory and his heart started racing rapidly again

He gripped on it , holding his chest tightly.

“Forgive me Giselle….. Forgive me my priceless daughter! ” He muttered. He sneered and wipe the tears that dropped off

He was done cleaning the king study. He took the disposal and made his way out of the king study. He opened the door and came out only to bumped on someone making the disposal to fell off his hand

“I’m sorry! ” A familiar voice said making him squeezed his eyebrow. He raised his head and gasped at who he saw

“Giselle! ” He uttered and Giselle raised her head to see her father

“Father…..” She called in a shaking tone, obviously scared

Elder Kay looked around and heaved before grabbing her hand. They took the back exist and walked out of the palace

“Father…….! ” Giselle tried to speak up

“Just be quiet! ” Her father snapped out. They got outside the palace and her father glanced at her. She swallowed hærd and dropped her face

Her father looked away and took hold of her hand again. They walked out of the palace gate and he stopped a cab

“When I’m back in the evening….. You will have me to deal with! ” Her father blurted out. He gave the cab driver directions to his home and watched as he drove out of his presence

He heaved and walked back to the palace.

“Mummy! ” Cal called as he entered their little house wrapping his tiny hands around his father own

He let off of his father hand and ran to his mother

“Mummy! ” He called. Silver looked away from her phone and huffed staring at her son who was running towards her

Yeah!

Don’t be surprised……. Silver had been married for two years now. Larry was her husband name and they had been blessed with a son named Cal

She lived with her husband in a town far away from the big city New Orleans………….But she stayed at New Orleans most of the times since she school at one of the college’s in the city

Her husband had spent all in has to put silver in school …….He was the one taking care of Cal all alone and Silver only comes to see them only when she’s in need of money

Her husband wasn’t aware that silver was dating prince darrel since he only stays in the town and don’t come to the city

“Go away Cal…! ” She said immediately Cal got to her

Her husband Larry frowned seeing the way she pushed their son but he over looked it due to the love he had for her

“Larry I need money! ” She said moving to her husband

“But I don’t have money now! ” Her husband said and she hissed

“what do you mean by that…… ” She said and scoffed

“why bothering to put me in college when you can’t even pay for the fees” She snapped out. Her husband heaved and stared at their son

“Cal go up to your room” He said and the little boy nodded and ran to his room

“Silver…… We shouldn’t be arguing in front of Cal! ” He said in a calm tone

“Don’t tell me that……. Will you give me the money or you want me to stop going to college ?” She asked and watched her husband clenched on his jaw

“how much do you need? ” He asked rather and silver grinned secretly

THE PALACE ********
IN THE EVENING…………

Prince Norman opened his eyes slowly…… He shut them back and opened them again. He blinked his lashes severally before he could get a clearer view

Yeah! His vision was no longer blurred….. He could see clearly now and it immediately occurred to him it was evening

He stood from the bed and touched his head and gro-ned

He worn his diamond stonned slippers and tucked his hand into his inner pocket. He walked out of his room. Immediately the maid saw him, they all bow and greeted him

He was just in pajamas. That was what he ordered his maid to wear him after he took his bath earlier and retired to bed

He walked to the family empire without his esc-rt. He got there and frowned seeing his family with a man dressed in white. Obviously a doctor

“Oh my son…… I was just coming in with the doctor for your treatment! ” His mother said

“I don’t need your treatment mom…… You all can see I’m fine! ” He muttered full of anger. Can’t believe the people he called family could abandoned him even on his critical condition. What if he had died before the doctor came??

What if the strange girl haven’t helped him??

The strange girl he never got to see her face

“My son…… Please don’t get mad at me” His mother said.

“Who treated your wound and who owes that scarf on your head? ” Darrel suddenly asked and it was then everyone noticed the scarf tied around his head

That moment the king walked in and Darrel walked up to him

“Father someone treated Norman’s wound” He muttered and the king eyes darkened seeing the scarf around his head

“The scarf looks so much like Elder Kay scarf. Does he mean the slave disobeyed his master and entered the forbidden room ” he said and swiveled his head.

“Why will he even risk his life” Prince Darrel asked and pouted his lip

“Since he disobeyed he’s gonna face the consequences….. ” Prince Darrel said and clenched his jaw

“Guard s!!!!!!!!!! ” He called and the guards ran in

“Go to elder kay home and bring him! ” He ordered

Cold sweat ran down Princess Celine cheeks as she shivered on the s₱0t she stood

“Stop!! ” She suddenly blurted out

They all frowned and turned to face her. She dropped her face as her breathing became tensed

“I did father…… I was the one that treated Norman’s wound…… I bought this scarf some days ago…….. Spare me father for disobeying your order! ” She said and fell on her knees as tears rushed off her eyes

The king face got darkened as he balled his fist

“You dare disobey your father………… For doing this you will be grounded. You’re no longer allowed to step your feet out of your room. Guards take her to her room and lock her up! ” He gave his final orders making everyone scared

“Don’t take me….. I will go on my own will! ” She said and stood up. She held her long gown and walked up the stairs as some maids and guards trailed behind her

Prince Rex shook his head and walked out of them all

“Amazing…… My children now disobey me! ” The king uttered and laughed out. He frowned and turned to the maids and guards who were still staring

“What are you all still staring at…… ” He growled making them staggered and running into different directions

Prince Darrel walked passed his brother and stop behind him

“I’m glad you’re fine” he said and smirked before walking all

The Queen Mother fall into the sofa as he watched her husband leave the empire

“My son……. ” She called out to Prince Norman

“Not now mum….. ” Prince Norman said and walked out too

He got outside the palace and walked to the palace gate.

“My prince…. are you going out…… Should we prepare your car? ” One of the guard at the gate asked

“No need of doing such….. I’m gonna go on foot! ” He said making them gasped

He opened the little gate for himself and walked out

Silver frowned seeing the prince walking out on foot…… She just came back from the town and had come to the palace first to see prince Darrel

“I guessed I should secretly follow him…. ” she thought to herself and walked out of the palace too

THE KAY RESIDENCE

A full bucket of water was poured on Giselle who was sleeping on the sofa. She jerked up to meet the angry face of her mother and sister

She had arrived home since morning but couldn’t find her mother and sister. She only made breakfast for herself and while waiting for them, she had slept off on the sofa

“You wretched child!!” Her mum Tanisha yelled and held her cheeks

She slapped Giselle back on the wall and held her cheeks hærdly

“mum you’re hurting me!! ” She managed to speak out

“shut up! ” Her mum yelled and grunted

“This is all my husband fault…. If only he had listened to me, you wouldn’t have been ………” She couldn’t complete her statement as someone pulled her away from Giselle

She turned to see the angry face of her husband

“Tanisha!! ” He yelled

“What!!…… This wretched girl had caused us alot even when she isn’t……”

“Be quiet!” Elder Kay said cutting her off and turned to face Giselle

“Giselle go to the room with your sister! ” he said but Giselle shook her head

“I will rather go outside dad! ” She replied holding her hurtful cheek

She walked outside and her sister Audrey also did the same. Elder Kay stared at his wife but she gro-ned

“I’m tired of her…….i’m tired of that ugly girl that had caused us alot….. She’s not even my daughter and up till now you refused to tell me where you took that ugly thing from….. I hate her Kay and since you refuse to disclose her true identity to me…… So be it! ” She snapped out raising her index finger at her husband

She dropped her finger angrily and walked out

Prince Norman stood at the bridge staring down at the water below. How he love staring at the water

“Prince Norman…. ” Someone called behind him
He attention was still on the water as he refused to look at the one who just called him

“I’m silver….. I’m prince Darrel girlfriend even if I don’t love him. I love you Norman…. You’re the one I wanna spend the rest of my life with ” She muttered and hugged him unaware from behind

He gasped and that was when he turned…… He quickly pull her off his.

“My prince………..! “she called trying to hug him again but prince Norman moved back

He smirked as a girl walked past him

“oh my God!! This fellow here tried to rape me….. Please help me! ” He said suddenly making silver gasped

“Please everyone…… She wanna rape me! ” he said much loudly as people started gathering
