I was already dozing off, when I heard a car horning from outside.

Feeling excited that Lucifer’s here to pick me up, I sprang up and rushed towards the window to take a peek.

Truly, it’s Lucifer’s car, he’s already alighted and was heading towards the door.

“I see someone’s eager to go back to her boyfriend’s house” Gabby said behind me, making me jump slightly.

“It’s not as if I don’t wanna be with you, it’s just that I have a lot of things to do in a very limited time” I told her.

“A very limited time indeed!” she mocked me.

She doesn’t understand what I meant and I’m not gonna try explaining myself, she’s gonna understand later as time goes on.

“You’re coming to school tomorrow, right?” She asked.

“I don’t really know, tomorrow is friday and we don’t have very important subjects.. I’m not sure yet”

“Well, give me a call later, when you’ve made up your mind” she said.

“Yes, ma’am!” I replied.

At that moment, the doorbell rang. I took long str-de towards the door, with Gabby dragging her feet behind me.

I pulled the door open and a smiling Lucifer stood in front of me, I jumped into his arms and planted a k-ss on his l-ips.

He laughed shortly.

“Alright, I don’t know what I’ve done to receive this surprising reward, but trust me, darling, I enjoyed and love it” he said.

“Since I met him” I answered.

She shuddered again, I laughed at how she made a disgusting face.

“Please, spare the single lady here” she said.

We all laughed briefly, I pulled away from Lucifer and rushed in,side to get my bag.

“Gabby, I’ll give you a call when I come to a conclusion” I told her.

She nodded, then waved at me as I head out with Mr Bright..I linked our arms and jumped happily by his side.

I don’t get why I’m feeling so happy right now, I guess it’s because I’ve being secretly missing him too.

My ears were blasted with these words, immediately I stepped into the living room.

Ribbons, balloons and fairy lights were hanging in decorations… it’s as if they’re hosting a party here.

Caldwell and some guys were standing in a straight line, they all wore bright smile on their faces.. genuine smile.

“What’s going on?” I asked Lucifer.

He laughed. “They’re throwing a welcome party for you” he answered.

“Is it really necessary? They shouldn’t have bothered with all these” I said.

Not that I’m complaining, I really appreciate their efforts, but doing all this is kinda overboard.

“Well, I tried to stop them, but these demons can be very stubborn sometimes” Lucifer whispered in my ear.

I laughed, he can even control his demons.

“Miss Martinez is back, our mansion isn’t gonna be a cemetery anymore!” Caldwell joked.

Lucifer glared at him, but I laughed.

He’s (Caldwell) right though, I thought we were in the wrong place when we first entered the living room.

“Now that you’re back, we can finally eat without fear of getting on Mr Bright’s bad side” Caldwell said, the others nodded in agreement to his words.

My brows furrowed slightly, I took a glance at Lucifer, he’s still glaring at Caldwell.. but playfully.

“Really?” I asked.

“Yeah.. you don’t know, we don’t even have to do anything wrong before getting a beating from him” Caldwell grumbled.

“Caldwell is right, Miss Martinez, even drinking your own wine was a crime” another guy said.

“Oh? Why’s that?” I asked Lucifer.

He scoffed and shrugged his shoulders, he moved away from us and walked towards a sofa to sit down.

“He said we don’t have any rights to enjoy while you’re having a break, he said we should be sad since he’s sad” Caldwell reported.

Carling and some other guys laughed, I also cracked up a bit..but quickly cleared my throat.

“Don’t worry, guys, I’m back and I’m gonna get revenge for you!” I promised them as I m-ssaged my fingers.

“Yay! Yay!” they chanted in jubilation.

I faced Lucifer, narrowed my eyes at him and smirked. He also smirked at me, giving me a look that says, bring it on!

“Alright, you should all go back to your post…I wanna have some alone time with my darling” he said.

He got up from the sofa and walked towards me, he wrapped his arms around my wa-ist and hugged me from behind.

He placed a k-ss on my neck, which made me blush since all his men were watching us.

They quickly looked away, clearing their throats.

“Sir… we’re leaving!” Caldwell said and led them out.

Lucifer waited until they’re gone, he carried me in his arms and in a twinkle of an eye.. he’s climbing the stairs, going to his room.

“Where are you taking me?” I asked, even though I know the answer.

“To our room, I want you to show me what you’ve got.. you promised me back at Gabby’s place” he answered.

I smiled in satisfaction, he’s finally calling Gabby by her name, not Garbage…my mind flashed back to his first words.

Our room, I frowned at him, by now he’s made it to his room and we’re standing outside the door.

“Our room?” I asked.

“Yeah.. I don’t want us to have separate rooms, it’s creating a space between us and I don’t like it” he replied.

I didn’t argue with him, after all, I also wanna spend as much time as I could with him.

He grabbed the door handle and pushed it open, he entered and kicked it shut.. then headed straight for his bed.

He laid me on it, leaned forward and wanted to crash his l-ips on me.. but I stopped him.

“Why did you stop me?” He asked.

“I said I wanna show you how bad I’ve become, let me”

“Ok.. but how?” He asked again.

I pushed his chest and he lifted his body slightly, I sat up and smiled.

Lucifer’s mansion… Lucifer’s room…

Lucifer paced in front of his room impatiently, he’s been pacing to and fro here since Melanie kicked him out.

After a few minutes, he heard Melanie called for him.

He hastily pushed the door open and rushed in, but he halted abruptly at what he saw.

He thought he’s seen all of her at their date last month, but that was just a bluff.. he’s staring at the real her.. the bad*ss queen!

Nobody would believe she wanted to be a nun if they saw her right now, she looked like she’s being in this business for long.

“Yes, darling” he replied.

She grabbed him along with her to a sofa in the room, she pushed him and he fell on the sofa.

He gave her a questioning look, but she simply smirked in response.

She sat on his laps, straddling him.

She reached for his buttons and started unbuttoning his shirt, when she’s done, she took it off and randomly tossed it.. not minding where it landed.

Melanie grabbed his tie, pulled him closer and crashed her l-ips on his, cutting off whatever he wanted to say.
