#Frost’s POV

Lyn walked into class with a big grin glued on his face. What did he do? Not my problem. My problem is my mate sitting so close to a guy not me. They were secretly flirting with each other. I sighed loudly, earning some few stares

‘You know this is your fault, right?’ Aidan whispered calmly. I sighed again. He knows about the mate thing and thank goddess he’s not Aaron. If Aaron knew I was hurting his sister, my head would have been detached from my body a long time ago. He’s overprotective and he hates me more than he hates his own twin

‘Help me a little’ I pleaded.

‘You better fix this’ he said frowningly. ‘RAF’ he called deeply. She turned her attention to him. ‘Come here’

‘Why?’ She asked stubbornly

‘What did you say?’ He asked with his dare me tone. Whenever he switches to big brother mode, he’s worst than Aaron

‘But I wanna s…’

‘Aidan I d…’

‘Four’ she stood up muttering and came to us. Lyn and I share a seat, Aidan and Darrell. Aida and Mila, she and Krystal. Aidan’s chair was at my left, the very last to the wall. ‘Hey goatie, stand up’ he ordered to the boy in front. He stood up with no question asked and went to sit with Rian. ‘Now sit there’ I his my smile as Raf grudgingly sat down. That’s settled for now

#Lunch_period

Krystal was nowhere to be found and I was getting worried. Where exactly can she be? Aida said she left with Lyn and Lyn said he left her alone after they finished talking. Where is she?

‘Relax, I’m sure she’s fine’ Lyn assured me for the tenth time

‘She needs a phone’

‘Did you ask if she had one’ he scoffed. ‘What’s with you and her anyways’

‘Something more than the usual’ I said winkingly. He grumbled and looked away

‘Don’t look’ he said quickly

‘Why?’

‘You won’t like what you will see’ he said calmly. I looked anyways but I regret it. Raf was walking to us with Rian. They were holding hands like couples, causing murmurs to rise. I know Raf more than I know myself and I know she’s trying to make me jealous. It was working like a charm

They sat down. We’ll, she sat on his laps. Aidan patted my back consolingly or rather, mockingly while Lyn bit his lip to suppress a laugh. Aida smiled creepily at me. Okay what is this!

‘Rian, since when did you two start dating?’ Mila loud mouth asked

‘Since love found us’ that stupid twat said. I inhaled. Keep it together

‘I don’t believe you are dating’ Aidan said slyly. His annoying button was on. This is bad. ‘Prove it’

‘I don’t think they need to’ I said distraughtly

‘Oh they need to’ he smirked. I gave him a pleading look but annoying Aidan listens to no one.

‘k-ss k-ss k-ss k-ss k-ss’ he chanted and soon the wh0le cafeteria was chanting that. I glared dagger at warning him not to. He smirked at me and k-ssed her

#Lyn ‘s POV

I knew this would happen and Frost will kill Valerian. Immediately their l-ips met, he exploded, bringing out a side only I have seen. His eyeballs rolled away as only a blue light glowed. His silver claws extended and his teeth turned silver. This was the side he inherited from his mother

He roared and slammed his hands on the table. His ice freezing it and raiding the ground viciously. The coldness swept the entire place, freezing every liquid in sight and growing spikes up to the ceiling. He can only use this power when furious. Blue flakes of Snow whirled around him and everyone stepped back

sh*t! He launched at Rian but I quickly blocked his path, shielding my dace from his blows with my hands

‘Calm down Frost’

‘Don’t tell me to calm down’ he roared

‘Calm down please, remember what you said your mother said about your anger’ he was sizing me up, to get rid of me. Trust me, he’s heartless when in this mode.

‘He k-ssed my mate’ he yelled again. The spokes around us becoming taller and ripping through the ceiling

‘Wait. Am your mate?’ Raf asked feigning ignorant. His feature softened and eyes turned back to normal. The wh0le place did too. ‘So you kept this to yourself so I won’t restrict you from doing your will right? All this time you knew about my feelings for you but you didn’t care. Do you know how many heated night I had? Do you know how many times I cried myself to sleep because you didn’t love me back!!!’

argh! Girls and their drama. See the reason I don’t want a mate?

Good thing I was bless with one who will never be so dramatic. Where is she anyways?

#Frost’s POV

Tears poured down her cheeks as she lamented on how cruel I was to her and seeing her cry and say it to my face ripped my heart. I never really gave a thought to my selfishness

‘You are heartless Frost and I can never be with a fool like you..’ Wait where is this going to? ‘For this, Alpha Frost of Moonstone pack, I…’

My wold tensed up along with me. She was going to reject us!

‘Rafaelia…’

‘Raf please don’t’

‘Floral…’

‘I beg you Raf please don’t do this to me’ I pleaded my eyes welling up

‘Reject you as my mate’

My heart sank. All I could think of was mom so I ran out fast before I will have to accept the rejection. I got to her grave and cried

Krystal is right. I’m a prick

I don’t deserve her. I should have listened to my grandmother. Oh curse my grandfather for being so loose and cursing me with it. Gosh! I need a hug

‘Pools bear’ grandmother called from behind me. I hate her pet name. I turned pouting in tears. ‘She rejectee you?’ I nodded positively. ‘If you weren’t my grandson who I love with all my heart, I would have said you deserve it. In fact, she should have killed you too’

‘You just said it’ I cried

‘What do you expect me to do? Clap for you? Give you a oat in the back for being so irresponsible?’ She said scoldingly. I cried more like a baby. ‘Don’t give me those eyes baby bear. It won’t work this time. You really hurt that girl and I’m not happy about that. You should know that being committed to someone you love is the greatest way to show your love. Knowing and trusting your partner that he or she will never cheat on you is the greatest feeling ever. Especially for a woman. She will feel loved before limitation. She will love that man beyond expectation. Every woman want a man that doesn’t cheat but it’s not possible for all to have it. I expect you to be different. I can put my life on the line when it comes to your father. Even after your mother died fourteen years ago, he never looked at another woman but my mate, that idiot’ she paused and shook her head. ‘I better hang myself to a pole than vouch for his fertility and you are like that’

‘Is this condolence or insult’ I cried

‘Both’

‘Grandma’ I sobbed. ‘I’m heartbroken here. Help me’

‘I will only help you because Raf is a sweetheart and deserves to be happy’ I dashed to and tackled her with a hug

‘Oh thank you so much grandma. Thank you so much’

‘Go away’ she pushed me. I fell on my butt and laughed. She will surely help

#Raf ‘s POV

I walked into the manor exhausted. I really didn’t want to reject him but I was angry and did it stupidly. What if he accepts it because of guilt? What if I lose him? All I want is him to love me…I cried my eyes out in school. Immediately I got to the comfort of my bed, I continued from where I stopped

‘Mom, please, just come’ I cried hugging my pillow. ‘I beg you’ my room darkened as the wind in my room changed. I sat up waiting for her. The wind became stronger

‘Raf’ I turned sharply to her. She packed herself at the edge of my bed. I crawled with speed and hugged her, wrapping my hands around her neck. ‘Baby what’s wrong?’

‘You always know’

‘Not always. I prefer not to pry into everything. Now, what’s wrong?’

‘It’s Frost mom. He won’t love me’ I sobbed

‘And who told you that? He does. He’s just struggling with his teenage hormone’ she said smilingly

‘But I’m hurting. Can’t you hypnotize him and make him love only me like dad loves you?’ I asked pettishly. She laughed, her beautiful laugh echoing

‘Raffy baby, I didn’t hypnotize your father. He just loves me’

‘But he doesn’t look at anyone else but you’

‘That’s just his nature. I s-ck at love advice. This is a job for Jena so I’ll probably say the thing she’ll say in such situation’ she cleared her throat. ‘To hell with begging boys’ she said imitating Aunt Jena’s voice. I laughed. ‘Smoking hot girls like us don’t beg them, they beg us. Why beg when all you gotta do is sway those mama blessed killer h¡ps and make their jaw drops. Honey, you don’t need to crawl for a man, if you wat him, claim him’

I was laughing uncontrollably

‘Seriously?’ Aunt Jena said flatly. Where did she come from? ‘I do not talk like that’ she whined folding her arms.

‘Jeez Jena’ mom said irritably and disappeared into dust

‘Humph, ignore her and go get laid. Bye honey’ she turned to a fire bird and flew away

Best aunt ever!

I took a nice bath and dressed up. I wore a black front zipper gown that stopped mid th-gh and a pink jelly wedge sandals. No dress is ever complete without my special pink grandma walked in as I brushed my hair. She took the brush from me and helped me

‘Where to?’

‘Nowhere in particular’

‘Can you do me a favor?’ She asked pleadingly. I nodded. ‘I left my box of memories in my tree house, can you go help me get it?’

‘Sure mom’

‘Thank you baby, you look great’ she k-ssed my cheek and left. I smiled and packed my hair up with a pink hairband and added more pink to my face. I love pink. I shift shape to a bird and flew to the tree house far away from the manor. I stopped at the stairs and shift shape back. The stairs were littered with roses and lit with glow worms lanterns to aid the light of the glowing vines. Fireflies lantern of different colours hung on the trees and stem of the trees glowed too. Suspicious indeed

I jogged up the stairs and walked in. The wh0le room was dimly lighted with pink lights. Glowing butterflies flew everywhere. I felt like squealing. It was beautiful. It was magical

‘How am I suppose to concentrate when you are wearing that’ Frost’s voice made me smile. ‘I mean, erm…how did she say I should sing that?’ He muttered. He cleared his throat and walked to me

I forgot the rest line but pretend I’m singing well…’ holy Lord of Zeus! What is he singing?! ‘I was a terrible fool, I know

But will you please forgive and accept me back’ my ears! . ‘All I plead is a second chance’ he knelt in front of me holding my hands. It would have been rom-ntic if his f****ng voice didn’t murdered the rom-n out of the tic. Donkeys can sing better than him.
