Bellatrix’s POV
“Help!! Help!!! My father, something is wrong with him!” I screamed as Dad suddenly sprawled on the floor
The guards ran in quickly with a concerned look
“My father, help him please” I cried and they immediately opened the door and rushed in to meet my father who was pretending to have a seizure
As the guards were busy with my Dad, I quietly moved back and ran to the table where weapons were kept and it didn’t take much time for me to see the night stone, the shiny black stone really stood out in the table
I grabbed the stone, hid it in my pocket and ran back to the meet the guards still struggling to stabilize my Dad
Dad glanced at me and I nodded in affirmation, I got the stone
He suddenly grabbed a dagger from the one of the guards beside him plunging it into the throat of the other guard and his blood spurted out
“Eyes closed Bellatrix” Dad yelled and I immediately closed my eyes
I heard some struggling and the shrieking scream of the other guard
“Let’s go Bellatrix” Dad suddenly grabbed my hand and I opened my eyes as we ran out of the stone tower
Dianna’s POV
I got ready with my daggers intact and I went downstairs to meet Ethan
“You know you are still the Queen of Arcane City, you don’t really have to come on this little murder mission” Ethan said
“Only reason you are saying that is because you think I’ll try to jeopardize your little golden dagger retrieval mission but not to worry Ethan, I’m going because I want to save my brother, Drusilla denied me of my brother for five years, so this is personal” I said and Ethan nodded
Ivan and Layla walked down the stairs
“You guys ready?” I asked and they nodded
“Is Layla coming with us?” Ethan asked
“Of course I’m coming with you guys, is that even a questioned to be asked?!” Layla said
“So we all are going to go after a witch? Just a witch? There’s no need for you to come along Layla, just stay here and direct the workers, taking you with us is going to be a risk, you are old after all” Ethan said and Layla’s lips curved into a smile as she stared at him
“Why are you smiling when he literally just said you are too old to fight anymore?” I asked and Ethan gasped
“Oh please don’t tell me you read my mind?”
“You bet I did sweet boy” Layla smiled
“I am not sweet and I am no boy!” Ethan protested
“The only reason Ethan doesn’t want me to go with you guys is because he feels I’ll be hurt when I see my mother again or when I see you guys killing her, you don’t want me to be hurt do you Ethan? You do care for me so you are a sweet boy, you only suck at expressing your feelings” Layla said
“Think whatever you want Layla but I do not care about you” Ethan insisted
“Let’s assume I believe you Ethan though your mind is definitely saying the opposite, Drusilla is my mother, a mother that abandoned me and left me for death so you don’t think I’ll miss her death do you? If anything I want to be the one to end her life for I will rejoice upon her fall” Layla said
“I understand you Layla and I hate to say this but I think Ethan is right, we can’t all leave to go after just one witch, someone needs to stay back here, just to watch, who knows, she might end up coming here again” I said
“No Dianna, we found where Drusilla is and I’m going along with you guys” Layla protested and Ivan sighed
“We are wasting the time we do not have debating this, you said it yourself Layla Drusilla is a powerful witch and as much as I know she will meet her end by my hand today, things can also go haywire so at least we’ll know we have a backup then, so be our back up and stay on standby here” Ivan said
Layla looked at us all and huffed
“Fine, I’ll stay and be your back up but in return, help me deliver a message to Drusilla, just before you rip her heart out, tell her that I am alive and that I am happy” Layla said
“It shall be done, let’s go” Ivan said and we walked out of the mansion
Adrian’s POV
I held tightly to Bellatrix’s hand and ran as fast from the stone tower as we can, I could hear the echo of the commotion in the tower as the other guards founds the guards I killed, they are going to start coming after us soon so we need to make a good headstart
Bellatrix and I ran farther, not stopping to look back but Bellatrix suddenly tripped and fell on the ground
“Hey are you okay?” I asked as I tried to get her on her feet
“Why are we running? What did you to that guard Dad, he was nice to me” Bellatrix said as tears welled up in her eyes
“I’ll explain everything later, we just have to continue running for now, we are finally going to leave Mordor Bellatrix, finally”
“But what about Mom? We should get her to leave with us” Bellatrix said and I heard the sound of multiple footsteps getting close to us, the guards, they are coming
“Gia doesn’t want to leave Mordor Bellatrix, we must live without her” I said hoping Bellatrix will just agree with me so we can run before the guards catches up with us
“Still let’s meet her Dad, I’ll try to convince her to come with is” Bellatrix said and I huffed, frustrated
“Gia doesn’t love you Bellatrix, she is not your mother and if you ever want to meet your real mother, we have to go now!” I said as I grabbed her hand and we started to run again
I tried to navigate my way, find one of the many hidden entrance that led out of Mordor
I finally found one, the exact entrance that led us in here years ago
“The night stone Bellatrix, hand me the night stone” I said and Bellatrix gave me the stone from her pocket
“This place is closed up with rocks Dad, there’s no door or anything here” Bellatrix said
“Patience Bellatrix, and watch” I said brought the night stone in contact with the solid rock wall right in front of us and slowly, part of the wall began to disappear forming a pathway leading to the outside of the wall barrier
Bellatrix and I followed the pathway and soon we stepped out of Mordor and the rock enclosed the pathway again
“Finally!” I sighed as I breathed in the wave of air the blew past my face

Ivan’s POV
Ethan, Dianna and I walked into a coffee shop where Drusilla was in
“There she is” Dianna said pointing at a young lady sitting by shop’s window
“Are you sure? She looks more like Layla’s daughter and not her mother” Ethan said
“That’s because she is living of people’s life essence and right now, Eric happen to be serving as her life battery so she will have Eric’s powers” Dianna said
“Well what are we waiting for, let’s confront the erring mother of our friend” I said as I moved towards Drusilla and they followed
Drusilla was sat by the window sipping her cup of coffee and she stopped drinking immediately we came to stand beside her table
“Arcane City, it’s a beautiful City” she said as she stared through the window “I’ve heard Arcane City is being ruled by the cursed Hammington family but what I wasn’t told is that visitors can’t even have a cup of coffee without being harassed by the supposed ruler of the City” Drusilla said turning to look at us
“We aren’t here to harass you” Ethan said
“We are here to rip out your heart” I completed
“And to save the brother you stole from us” Dianna said
“Stole? Did you say stole? Eric has being mine for five years now and he will continue to be mine! I only came here to get him back after you stole him from me Dianna! I only came to get back what is mine!!” Drusilla yelled and sky rumbled
“I got what is mine and I will be leaving your damn City after enjoying a little bit of your scenery so do not worry about that”
“You aren’t leaving Arcane City till you hand over the golden dagger to us” Ethan said and Drusilla looked at Ethan surprised
“Golden dagger?” she laughed
“So you aren’t here to save Eric, you are here for the golden dagger” she said and looked and Dianna
“You Dianna are definitely here to save Eric” she said and darted her eyes towards me but I quickly closed my eyes preventing her from reading my mind
“Oh you do not want to have your mind read by me, I wonder what it is you are planning, what are you here for too? Eric or the dagger?” Drusilla said and brought out a golden dagger
“Do you guys want this? Is this what you are here for? Well unfortunately you won’t be getting it because I will you end you all with it and I will take over Arcane City!” she voiced and a thunderstorm suddenly began as the coffee shop shook, people inside the shop ran out with fear
“What are you all waiting for? Do you want my heart no more?” Drusilla said standing up
Ethan suddenly whispered a spell and Drusilla went flying amongst the chairs and Ethan laughed
“You aren’t so high and mighty now are you?” Ethan laughed and Drusilla stood up angrily
“Foolish kid, you just created your own doom!” she said raising her hand lines of lightening emanated from her fingers striking Ethan to the floor
Dianna and I ran towards her and I made to remove my gloves
“No you will keep those gloves glued to your hands Ivan Hammington” she said as she flicked her hand and I couldn’t mover my hand nor any part of my body no more
Damn! This old trick again!!
Dianna jumped on Drusilla with her full fiery flame but she was stopped in mid air with just some spell whispers from Drusilla and she went flying hard through the window and breaking the glasses
She advanced towards Ethan, grabbing his throat and staring into his eyes
“Do not touch me!!” Ethan yelled as a strong wave pushed Drusilla back and I broke free from her spell
“I saw something in your mind” Drusilla said looking at Ethan
“The old lady at your Mansion, you seem to think she is my daughter”
I stealthy moved towards her as she spoke but she suddenly raised her hand and the blood started gushing out of my ears and nose
She turned around and saw Dianna about to plunge her her flaming hand into her and she gave her the same head crushing pain she gave me
“The problem with you Hammingtons is that you never listen! I can hear your thoughts a moment before you carry out your plans so what’s the point of even planning against me in the first place!” she said as she waved her hand, moving Ethan closer to her and she grabbed his throat
“Now this poor boy will die because you refused to pay me the attention I needed when I spoke!” she said as she brought the golden dagger close to Ethan
“Let him go!!” I yelled as I struggled to move despite the crushing headache and rushing nosebleed
“Oh you never really listen do you?!” Drusilla as she waved her hand and my head snapped and everything was suddenly blank
Dianna’s POV
Ivan’s fell on the floor unconscious
“Noo!!” Ethan screamed
“Breathe one more word and I’ll be plunging this dagger into your throat” Drusilla said and looked at me
“Try moving and you shall meet a worse fate than your brother” she warned
“Isn’t this pathetic” someone said and I looked up to see Layla walking in
“Let them go Drusilla” she said and Drusilla stared at her
“You are the one they think to be my daughter” she said
“Maybe by blood yes but I will never consider a monster like you my mother!” Layla said whispering a spell and Drusilla went flying to the floor with a thud freeing Ethan and stopping my agonizing headache
“You came” Ethan said to Layla
“I needed to trick you all to think I won’t be coming so she won’t read your mind and know you have a backup” Layla said
“Now you all should stay your hands, this is between a mother and her daughter” Layla said as she pulled Drusilla up from the ground
“You are no daughter of mine!” Drusilla said, regaining her balance
“You denied me when I was just 12, I didn’t expect you to accept me now” Layla said and Drusilla continued staring into her eyes
“You are my daughter, Layla” Drusilla said and suddenly burst into a loud cackle
“You look so old, I can’t believe you are really my daughter”
“Well not everyone is into human sacrifice like you oldie” Ethan said enraging Drusilla
“I will rip out your tongue boy!” Drusilla flared
“Not whilst I’m here, they are my family and I will never let you hurt them” Layla said
“Family?”
“Yes, family Drusilla, but I guess that is a strange word for you as you’ve lived all of your life alone after throwing away the only family you ever had all in a bid to remain young forever” Layla uttered and Drusilla scoffed
“Family is nothing, do you know what really matters in this world? Power!” Drusilla said as she flicked her hand to strike Layla with lightening but she swiftly moved out of the way making the lightening hit the tables causing a small explosion
“You read my mind” Drusilla said
“I can see your every move before you make it too Drusilla, how does it feel to be fighting against someone with same power as you for the first time in your life?” Layla asked
“It doesn’t feel good” Drusilla said as she ran towards Layla and lifting her off the ground with a spell
“Let her go!!” Ethan yelled casting at spell that sent Drusilla flying to the floor and Layla following on the ground
I saw an the golden dagger on the floor and I quickly grabbed it and plunged into Drusilla’s stomach
“You missed the heart” Drusilla said as she grabbed my hand sending lightening strokes through out my body
Layla’s POV
“Follow me out Ethan” I said as I ran out of the coffee shop
“Why, she’s hurting Dianna, we should help her” Ethan said
“I thought you didn’t care about Dianna” I reminded
“That hasn’t changed” Ethan protested
“Grab my hand and repeat after me” I said and he grabbed my hand
“What are we doing to do?” Ethan asked
“Blow the shop up”
“What?! Ivan and…..”
“They are immortal, they’ll be fine, Drusilla will be the only burnt to ashes” I said and Ethan nodded
We moved farther away from the coffee shop and we began to chant the spells, soon enough, the coffee shop blew up to ashes…..
