Episode 11

I boarded a cab and head straight to the prince’s personal house. Thank goodness I could still recall the path.

As I sat in the moving cab, I couldn’t help but think about it- my life – and everything.

G©sh. No. I don’t think this is the right time to think. Probably, not.

I sighed and continued staring out the window and after a very long while, I got to my destination.

I paid the cabby and continued walking towards the house.

Getting to the gate, I knocked on it – nervously. And it was opened after a few seconds.

“Hi. Good evening”, I beamed to the gateman.

“I’m….”

“Danica. Come in” he cut me off and opened the gate w¡der for me and I mouthed an “oh” before walking in.

Thank goodness the prince has told him about me already.

“Thanks”, I smiled at him and started walking towards the house.

I couldn’t help but admire it as I walked, it was more like a duplex and I wondered why the prince had to live in the palace if he had such apartment.

I got to the gold colored door and took a proper look at myself. I just hoped I was looking good enough.

I was about knocking on the door when it suddenly went open on its own and my eyes dilated when I found the princess standing in front of me – princess Mabel.

“Oh, my! She’s here!” She exclaimed and to my greatest surprise, pulled me in a hug.

Whaaat???

I shifted uncomfortably in the hug as she smelt royalty.

“G…Good evening, my princess” I greeted with a bow after the hug.

“Good evening, Danica. And welcome. I was beginning to think you wouldn’t show up. Please, come in”. She held my hand and led me into the house.

O….kay. This feels really cranky.

“My brother had told me about you – he said you’d be his date to the party” She paused and turned to look at me.

“Hmm. Thank goodness I came with the dress. I knew you’d be needing one” she giggled and continued walking while i followed.

O…kay. And what does she mean by that?

I interlocked my fingers in front of me as I walked, feeling really nervous.

We took the stairs, walked down the hallway and finally stopped in front of a door which the princess opened and walked in.

“Please,come in. I need you to primp you up before my brother returns”, she said as I followed her into the room, my eyes gazing around.

Wow! Does she have a room here? I never thought of it.

“Um…the prince isn’t around?” I asked timidly

“Nah. But he’ll be back soon and that’s the reason I need to get you ready before he does. My brother actually thinks I’m worst when it comes to fashion and I wanna prove him wrong today. So, first, I need you to change into this”,

She took a towel and stretched out to me.

Oh. But why? Does she want me to take a bath or what?

I collected the towel anyway and went behind her to change.

“Perfect. And.come sit here, please. Quickly”, she drew out a chair from the make up table and I walked to it and sat.

There were sooo many items on it – so many of them and I wondered if she was really going to use every one of them on my face.

“Okay. And here we go!” She exclaimed happily and commenced work.

It was almost 7.

I returned home quickly cause I didn’t want to keep the prince waiting. I needed to get Danica.

Getting to the house, I found mum in the sitting room, with a boy. I didn’t know him.

“But when would she be back? I just need to see her. Its urgent”. The boy said with a worried look on his face.

“I don’t know, Scott. But as soon as she’s back, I’ll let her know you came and ask her to get back to you”, mum replied.
Huh? Who are they talking about?

The boy sighed and turned around.

“What is it, Scott? You can talk to me. Is there a problem?” Mum asked and I left the door where I’d been standing and went in to meet them.

“Don’t worry, ma’am. There’s no big problem. I’ll just check up on her later. Thanks” the boy answered and started walking towards the door.

“Good evening, ma’am” he greeted me before passing by and walking out the door.

O..kay.

Then, I turned to look at mum

“What’s going on?” I asked and she shrugged and stared at the clothes she Was fixing

“He’s a friend of Danica. And he’s looking for her. but unfortunately, she isn’t home”. , she replied and my eyes dilated in shock.

Huh?

“She…she isn’t home? Where did she go??” I asked, alarmed.

“Well, she dropped a note for me, telling me she had an urgent work to do. So, she….”

“Whaaaat???” I shrieked.
“What stupid work is that?? Where is it?”

Mum looked confused.

“I don’t know,,Kim. She didn’t say. What’s going on. Why are you upset?”

“That brat! How dare she?? We’ were supposed to go somewhere!” I gritted angrily and turned around.

“Where is that? Why’s it so important?”

“Dmn it, mum! It’s important to me and she knows it but chooses to just toil around with me. How dare she??” I yelled and ran out of the house, looking left and right, wishing I’d just see her.

How could she?? How could she ruin my plans?? The prince had already given part of the money and I’m not meant to disappoint him. How could Danica put me in such a mess?

Oh, Danica! I just pray you never come back to this house cause I swear, I’ll kill you!!

Episode 12

“You know, I’m really so excited about you being my brother’s date to the party” the princess said as she did her thing on my face.

We’ve been on it for sometime now.

“Andrea’s the only female friend my brother has and aside her, other girls are like dirt to him”,

Huh? Andrea?

For a second, I was tempted to ask: “Who’s Andrea? But good thing I restricted myself. Besides, I don’t have any right to ask.

“Andrea’s his childhood friend”, she continued like she actually read my mind and knew I’d wanted to ask about it.

“My brother’s someone that hates the presence of ladies and I really don’t know why. Andrea was the only girl he liked back then and they grew up to be pretty close. But unfortunately, Andrea’s parents relocated to Manilla last year and she had to leave with them. So, she got separated from Nathan.

“Although….Andrea’s a nice lady,,but I don’t know; I just never liked her for my brother. I really don’t know why”.

I looked at her through the mirror and she smiled.

“There – all done! What do you think?” She beamed as she rounded up her work on my face and I blushed when I looked at the mirror.

Oh my! Was this really me? Goodness, I never knew I could be this pretty.
I moved my hand to my face and touched my cheek.

“Its…its beautiful” I said softly, impressed by my own beauty.

“Yeah – I told you. Come on now,,hurry up and wear your dress” she ran to the wardobe in the room to see how happy and lively she was. I never expected it from her.

She opened the wardrobe and returned with a dazzling dress that made my eyes beam.

“What do you think about this?” She squealed and I stood up to take the dress from her.

“Its beautiful, my princess”, I blushed, staring at it.

It was a short black gown that had some sparkles on it and it was dmn so beautiful.

“Come on; try it on – quick” she giggled and I smiled and started the process.

I took my towel off and and wore the dress carefully, careful enough so I don’t ruin my makeup .

When I was done, I scurried to the mirror and a “wow”, escaped my l-ips when I almost couldn’t recognize myself.

“Oh my gee!!! I knew It! I knew I was the greatest fashionista!! Oh! I can’t wait for Nathan to return and rate me!!” The princess squibbled and I almost laughed at how excited she was.

“Hold on” she ran to a particular s₱0t and returned with a pair of shoes – blue heels.

“Ohhh!! I bet this would look good on you” she giggled as she placed the shoes on the floor.

Oh….crap. I don’t wear heels. I’ve never worn them before.

“Um…I’m not so sure I’d be able too work in these”, I confessed and she laughed.

‘Just give it a try, Dan. Let’s try it out”, She urged and I fixed my legs into the shoes.

Oh….boy. I felt so high.

“Okay. Can you walk?” She asked and I folded my l-ips and stared downwards.

“I’ll…try”.

I tried moving my legs and almost tripped, but the princess was fast enough to hold me.

“Oh..my! I thought you were joking” she laughed so hærd and I bit my lip bashfully.

“Come here. Let’s try it again”. She held my hand and aided me and taking a few faltering steps, I finally mastered them and began to work properly – I guess.

Suddenly, the door went open and the princess and I turned simultaneously to see the prince.

Oh my…!

I swear, my heart stopped beating.

My l-ips parted lightly in bedazzlement as i stared at the charming prince in front of me. His appearance – I couldn’t describe.

“Oh!!! You’re here! Perfect timing!!” The princess squealed and clapped her hands

“Tell me brother – how does she look? Dress and make up by me” she free styled and stepped away so he could see me clearly and now, I stood face to face with him – no one and nothing between us.

I felt butterflies.

I was so lost, I had forgotten to pay my respect until he left the door and started walking towards me.

His cute eyes were on me and when he stood in front of me, a smile touched his l-ips.

“G…Good evening, my prince” I quickly got a grip of myself and bowed.

He waited for me to lift my head from the bow, then he said:

“You didn’t do any job, Mabel. She’s beautiful naturally and that’s the only luck you have”.

My eyes beamed.

“Come on, Danica. We’re running late already” he turned around and started for the door.

“What??? Are you kidding me?? What do you mean I didn’t do any job??” The princess squealed and I couldn’t help but laugh.

She followed him out of the room and I did same, trailing behind them.

The princess kept whining behind him about his bad comment, but he didn’t pay any attention to her.

And me….the words that kept replaying in my head were: “she’s beautiful”.

My cheeks heated up at that. He said I’m beautiful!! The prince said I’m beautiful!!

Oh my gee!!

I touched my cheeks and tried to control my blush and finally, we got to his car outside.

“Anyway, I know you’re just being jealous’, the princess snorted as he walked into the car and I smiled.

“Thank you, my princess. I’m grateful”, I bowed when I got to where she was.

“You’re welcome, Dan. I know I did a great job on you”, she placed her hand on my shoulder and said.

“Get into the car,,Danica!” The prince called and I left her and hurried into the car.

Oops!

We were taking the backseat since a driver and guard already occupied the front.

I felt so nervous sitting beside the prince, so nervous I couldn’t explain it.

In a few seconds, the car started moving.

“By the way, you look beautiful” I heard the prince say and my heart skipped.

Whaat?

I turned sharply to look at him and my cheeks flushed again – helplessly.

“T…Thank you, my prince” my voice came out thin and he nodded and took his eyes to his phone.

Some seconds passed…

“And you look handsome as well, my prince”, I found myself complimenting him and he shot me a stare.

“Yeah, thanks”. He cooed a reply.

Episode 13

I paced tho and fro the sitting room, peeping at the window at regular occasions, checking out for Danica.

Where could she be? I can’t believe she’d put me in such mess. How could she?

I bit my nails angrily, wishing I could just set my eyes on her and unleash my anger. I $wear, I’d kill her.

After a while, I saw a car driving towards the house and recognized it to be the prince’s.

Good lord! No; no. This is not happening.

I panicked as I watched the stop in front of the house. He’s come to get me! I’m going to be in trouble! What do i do?

Thinking quickly about it, I turned around and ran up the stairs. Thank goodness mum wasn’t around.

I got to my room and opened my window. Damn! It was going to be a brutal fall. But I had to take it.

I put my legs across the window and jumped out, hitting my body roughly on the floor.

Ahh!!

Oh, Danica. You’ll surely pay for this.

Danica
Ugh! I hate truth or dare.

I dropped my glass on the table and and leaned back on my seat. Where could the prince be, huh? I so wasn’t comfortable being here alone. I should’ve known, parties were never my thing.

“Seems she doesn’t want to talk, huh?” One of the ladies beside me mumbled and that was when I remembered I was still with them. Oh.

I was about saying something to them when i suddenly heard close footsteps and turned to see it was the prince.

Ahh! Thank goodness. I could hærdly wait.

The ladies stood up immediately as he came close.

“My prince”, they all bowed their heads in obeisance.

He didn’t reply any of them but came to sit next to me and they left.

“Hope I didn’t take too long?” He asked.

“Of course, not, my prince”, I faked a smile.

Like….the h’ll, you took terribly long.
Geez!! I wish could tell him to his face.

In the meantime, the preparations for the T or D was going on and had already been set and this time around, the lady climbed down from the stage while a boy took over.

“Hey, buddy” T-jay showed up and sat next to the prince.

He seems to be really close friends with him.

“Ready for this?” He asked, pointing to the stage and Nathan scoffed.

“There’s no way I’m participating”, he replied bluntly and poured himself a drink.

Oh,,thank goodness! He isn’t gonna participate. But is that even possible?

“So…this is the rule of the game”, the boy on stage commenced.

“The light would go round, and whoever the light lands on would have to come out with his or partner. We’d decide if its a truth or dare we give to you and when its been givien to you, you’re to do exactly as you’re told. Else…you’d have to strp”.

What the…..

Whaaaat???

A loud gasp, followed by giggles ran across the room as some found it amusing. Geez! I wish the prince would just decide to leave right away. I didn’t want to stay here anymore.

“Let the game begin….!” He announced and the light started going round.

Oh, boy. This is actually real.

There was excitement in the hall as everyone watched who the light would fall on and when it landed on a particular lady, there was a hysteria of laughter and cheers.

“Woah! Miss Darien. Please, come forward!” The boy on stage said with a snigger and the lady in question stood on her feet, her palm over her mouth.
She seemed surprised and nervous.

Her partner beside her also stoop up and they walked to the stage together.

Okay…now, what’s next?

The excitement died down when they got to the stage as everyone listened attentively to what they’d be given.

The emcee went to a box, took out a piece of paper and opened it.

“Oh! It’s truth you are so lucky!. He chuckled. The couple gasped in relief.

Now, could you please tell us if you enjoy yourself during sx. Is he too big for you or she is too wide?” The emcee asked and the drink I’d been taking at that moment spilled from my mouth to my dress as I almost choked.

Whaaat?????????

Prince Nathan – who acted like he could never smile in his entire life – also chuckled and looked at me.

What????

There was an outburst of laughter in the room as the couples faces flushed in embarrassment.

“Come on, man. That’s totally off limits” the boy said to the emcee who didn’t seem to care.

Good lord! I couldn’t imagine being in their shoes.

“The clock is ticking. What would it be? Are you telling us the truth, or you’re gonna strip? And remember, if you lie to us, its going to be 7 years of ill luck”, the emcee said and the boy rolled his eyes.

“You first, Darien. Answer the question’, he directed to the girl who looked so nervous.

“Well…” She spoke into the mic. “His org-n is quite okay for me. Its big enough”.

She covered her mouth quickly as soon as she was done and there was another outburst of laughter.

Goodness. Despite the fact it was dirty and I hated dirty talks, I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Okay; that’s pretty awesome. And you?” The emcee directed to the boy who in turn, spoke into the mic.

“Well, it was a little wide at first, but Its okay now” the boy replied and my eyes w¡dened in shock.

Prince Nathan and T-jay laughed out loud, together with the rest of the people in the room. What is wrong with him???

“Woah! That was a bomb!! That was a bomb!! I’m so sorry, Darien. I’m so sorry” the emcee laughed on the stage and the lady glared hærd at the boy and walked away.

“Bae, come on…’ He called and ran after her while the laughter continued.

Geez! It was terrible, but funny as well.

The emcee gave enough room for the excitement to go on, then he continued.

“And that was a little fun”, he chuckled.
“Afterall, what’s a party without some fun?”

He paused and looked into a book he was holding.

“Next!! Spin the light!” He said aloud and the light started going round again.

My heart raced heavily as it came towards my direction, but luckily, it passed and landed on someone else – a boy.
Phew!!

“Woah! And we have our champion! Please, step forward. Please, please, please” the emcee announced and the boy shook his head as he stood up with his partner.

The cheers were on and with the boy holding the girl’s hand, they walked out to the stage together.

“Wow! Cute couples! Let’s see what you got”, the emcee smirked and pulled a paper from the box.

“Oops!!! It’s a dare – unfortunately!!” He laughed so hærd and a wide laughter went on in the room.

Oh goodness!! I touched my forehead. This wasn’t looking funny.

If *truth* could cause such disaster a while ago, I wonder what a dare would do.

“And this is it…” The emcee began. “You’re to go on your knees, and kss his hood. Just a kss”.

There was an outburst. H’ll no! There’s no way I’m watching that for any reason.

I covered my face with my palms and awaited them to finish.

There were laughters, clattering and when I decided to have a peek from inbetween my fingers, I saw the girl, kneeling in front of the boy with her l-ips on his….

Mother of Danica!!! Gross!!!

I covered my eyes completely immediately.

Although, she didn’t pull down his trouser or anything, but it was still gross to me. Like super gross!!! How can a lady possibly kss a guy down there???? I wonder how ladies feel when they do bj or whatever it’s called. It’s definitely not something I can do.

I opened my eyes when I figured they should’ve been done and when I did, I uncannily caught the prince staring at me.

Huh???

My brows arched and he just smiled and looked away.

O…kay. What was that??

“Thank you, thank you, very much. You were awesome” the emcee sniggered as they walked away.

“Next! Let the spin begin!!”

“Come on, Danica. Let’s get out of here before we’re forced to get involved or something”, Prince Nathan said and stood up.

At last. Thank goodness.

I stood up as well and was about walking away with him when suddenly, I felt something flash on my face.

It was so bright and made me uncomfortable but when I heard people scre-ming, it dawned on me – what had happened.

Oh my God! No.

The light – it landed on me!!!

“Are you sure about it?” I asked him over the phone as I sat in the bar.

“Yes, my prince. I’m at the top of the building where the party’s taking place and I’m just waiting for them to step out. As soon as I have a visual on him, I’ll shoot him”, he replied and I breathed in relief.

“Good. Make sure you do a clean job”, I told him and ended the call.

Nathan – He’s definitely going down today.

Father’s condition is getting worst and the 12th disciple was yet to be found. Since its so difficult finding her, I need to make sure I’d be the only prince alive just in case father dies soon.

So, I need to take down the rest of my pathetic brothers and Nathan is going first.
