Chapter 30

{ Mom Knows }

When we got home, we met Blake pacing around the living room and cursing at whosoever he was talking to, the fact that I have never seen Blake so tensed up and angry over the phone got me worked up as well, I look over at Cole for any clue he just shook his head and we both continue to stare at Blake.

“Go to hell you bas***d! make sure I don’t ever get my hands on you…you excuse of a father” He shouted yet again then hang up throwing his phone on the couch, it bounce and nearly hit the floor if Cole hadn’t grab it on time.

“Man! you gotta calm down” Cole told him.

“Calm down! you know what the bas***d had done to my sister and you’re telling me to calm down? mom made the right decision by wanting to divorce him, and how come you’re calm about this?” Blake glare at Cole oblivious to my present, I just stood there stunned trying to figure out what was going on.

“Do you think I’m calm about this? No I’m not…I want to find him and chop off his finger but Ella made me promise not to go to him. We just have to be there for her now” Cole answered.

“Of course you stay with her, I’m going out there to find him.Call the police in case” Blake ordered then grab his coat reaching for the door handle, I hurriedly block him.

“Now tell me what the hell is going on!”I cried out.

He blinked finally noticing I was in the room with them the wh0le time.

“Not now Ella but believe me when I find Dad, I’m going to make him pay for what he did to you” He vow.

“But why?…”

“Blake knows…”Cole muttered under his breath, his jaw twitch and I immediately knew what he was talking about, tears clouded my eyes.

“How could you have keep something like that from us? Hell it’s my fault I should have known something was going on” Blake curse at himself.

“No no! It isn’t your fault, I was so scared he threaten to kill you if I ever utter a word to anybody…how did you and mom find out” The tears finally run down my face, I just told Cole earlier today maybe he did tell them.

“Brittany did, when the fight happened between you two I know you’d never get into physical fight with anyone so I had to find out what made you react that way…I was furious so I called home and told her” Blake answered then look at Cole.

“You hiding it from me wasn’t cool either but I will be back” Without another word Blake bolted out of the room.

“Go after him Cole! Blake will try killing him and he will be jailed “I cried.

“Shh I can’t leave you all alone”

“I will be fine…just call Bella okay? Please” He finally nodded.

“Brittney is such a snitch how could she do that to you, and you even kept her own secret” Bella fumed.

“Actually it’s okay I’m just worried about Blake, Cole and my mother…oh I wonder how mom must be feeling. I feel so bad! all this is happening because of me” I let the tears consumed me once again, this is so hærd to take in.

Chapter 31

It’s not your fault baby

” Shh don’t you dare blame yourself for whatever that is happening here. It’s not your fault okay” Bella console as I pull away from her, of course she was trying to make me feel better but I knew the truth today my family aren’t together anymore and my brother is trying to murder my father not that I cared…I want him lock up or dead.

“Blake and Cole should be back by now, I’m so worried” I said looking at the wall clock, as if on cue but Blake and Cole walk in.

Cole pull me closer immediately hugging me, I darted a look at Blake he was staring in our direction but didn’t say a word, I hug him back anyway when we both pull back o stare at him, questions written over my face.

“You’ll be fine okay? I have to go home. My mom has been calling me non stop” He chuckle trying to light up my mood then he k-ss me on the forehead.

“That’s enough Cole” Blake snapped.

I rolled my eyes, Cole just laugh and walk out of the house the laughter didn’t reached his eyes though, I look over at Bella who avoided looking at my brother.

“See you at school tomorrow” Bella told me racing out of the door.

“Did you find him? what happened” I asked as soon as Bella was out of the door.

“He left the hotel he was in, I don’t know how he find out we were coming. Mom file a divorce and she would be home tomorrow by morning” Blake held my hand looking at me seriously.

“You’re strong Ella, I can’t believe you are my little sister, just seeing the way you handle things smiling laughing not letting anyone know what you’ve been through…I still haven’t forgave you for hiding it from me. No matter what happen don’t blame yourself okay?”

Tears slide down my face and I hug him. “You’re the best brother in the world! I’m so lucky to have you. Plus we all know you can’t stay mad at me for long” I winked.

We both laugh over that.

“So I’m guessing my best friend is feeling better” Bella said hugging me from behind.

“Yes thanks to you all” I replied, hugging her back.

“Like seriously! I thought you were suspended” Jennifer snarled stopping right in front of us.

“What do you want?” Bella snapped angrily.

“Relax mouth piece” She laugh like she had said something funny then walk off.

“She’s so going to get it from me” Bella threatened making me giggled.

“Just ignore her” I told her.

“Hi kitten” I automatically turn around at the sound of Cole.

“Cole!” I yell excitedly running to hug him, he catch me spinning me around.

“I’m so jealous” Bella cried holding her heart.

Cole just held my hand and half drag me to the parking lots, I knew I was skipping school immediately not that I care, I deserve a break this past few days has been really stressful and so emotional.

Chapter 32

“Where are we going?” I asked as Cole help me buckle up my seatbelt.

“Just enjoy the ride, we are going on a long drive. You need it sweetheart this past few days have been so stressful for you” He answered.

“Awwwwn I love you” I said pecking him slightly on the cheek.

“I love you more, I will be driving back home so I can get my power bike” He winked at me.

My heart speed up, glaring at Cole who just laugh I relax knowing immediately that he was just pulling my legs.

“Just kidding baby”

Cole switch on the car radio and Despacito by Justin Bieber could be heard playing in the background, I almost mo-n in relief as I rest back then close my eyes enjoying the ride.

“Who’s ready for movie night!” Bella yelled as she burst into the living room on that night.

“Please tell me that isn’t walking dead” I glare at the movie cover, I hate horror movies, why does she have to being that.

“Walking dead? that’s my type of movie” Blake remarked.

To everyone surprise Bella ignore him turning her full attention to both Cole and I who exchange glances, I have been sensing the tension between them and I wonder what caused it.

“No we are definitely not watching that” I cried.

“I will protect you kitten” He murmured in my ear so Blake wouldn’t hear what he said.

“Don’t be such a baby” Blake roll his eyes taking a sit opposite us, Bella jumped then went ahead to ins**t the desk, she hesitated before sitting next to Blake.

“Come help me with the popcorn” I drag her to the kitchen.

“Ouch go easy on me. I thought your mom was supposed to be back” She asked.

“Well due to the weather condition she would be back by tomorrow. So what going on between you and Blake”

“Nothing” She replied too quickly which made me more suspicious but I let it go, knowing her she’d tell me when she’s ready to.

“Popcorn is here” A horrible scre-m could be heard from the background of the movie making me accidentally dropping the bowl of popcorn.

“You’re so dramatic” Bella rolled her eyes.

“Dramatic?!” I snorted but decided to igonre her as I snuggle closer to Cole.
