✨ FLASHBACK! ✨

SAME NIGHT

A ambulance pulled into the hospital, sirens blaring. The paramedics jumped out and opened the back doors. Lyric was in with Pearl crying her hearts out,Granny Lupe too.

They carried Pearl, still unconscious, on a stretcher into the emergency room.

A nurse was waiting for them, and she quickly wheeled the stretcher into a private room.

Lyric rushed in behind them, her face pale with fear. Granny Lupe followed with Starr,they are both crying too.

“Is she going to be okay? Please tell me she’ll be fine” Lyric held the nurse, her voice trembling.

“We’re doing everything we can” the nurse replied, her voice calm and reassuring.

The doctors and nurses rushed around, hooking up monitors and IVs. Lyric almost followed them in but the nurse dragged her out.

“Lyric!” Granny Lupe held her as she broke down in tears,she hugged her.

“I really can’t take it,this is too much Nanny! She’s too young for this,my poor baby.. I want to take all her pains away” Lyric cried out.

“She’ll fine,have faith” Granny Lupe assured,stroking her back.

As the doctor and nurses continued to work on Pearl, Starr stood next to his mother, his hand on her arm.

“Mom, Pearl is going to be okay,” he said, his voice firm but gentle.

Lyric turned to him, her eyes filled with tears. She pulled him into a hug, burying her face in his shoulder.

“I’m just so scared,I don’t know what I would do if something happened to your sister” she said, her voice breaking.

Starr held her tight, wishing he could take away her fear or he was the one who took the bullet in place of her. Granny Lupe just watched without a word.

Suddenly,Leonardo rushed into the emergency room, his heart pounding in his chest. He spotted Lyric and Starr, and he ran over to them.

“How is she?” he asked, his voice strained.

“Leo!” Lyric broke the hug with Starr and hurried her face on Leonardo’s chest,as it he was what she has been waiting for.

“She’s fine right?” Leonardo asked,when he saw thier teary eyes.

Starr shooked his head.

“We don’t know yet,They’re still working on her.. I don’t want anything to happen to my daughter!” Lyric said in tears.

Leo’s eyes welled up with tears, and he wrapped his arms around both Lyric and Starr.

“She’ll be fine,trust me. We’ll get through this,We have to be strong for her” Leonardo said.

Granny Lupe just nodded feeling relieve that he’s there.

Some minutes later,The doctor walked out of the emergency room, his face
somber. Lyric rushed over to him, her heart pounding in her chest.

“How is my daughter?” she asked, her voice shaking.

The doctor took a deep breath.

“She’s is in critical condition,She’s suffering from severe blood loss which she’s way too young for her to bearand there’s a risk of permanent brain damage. We’re doing everything we can, but I can’t guarantee anything” The doctor explained.

Lyric felt like the floor had dropped out from under her. “What about a blood transfusion? I can donate for her” she managed to ask, her voice rising in panic.

The doctor nodded.

“We’re in the process of arranging for a transfusion, but we need to find a compatible donor. Like I said she lost too much blood, Until then, we’re monitoring her vital signs and giving her fluids and nutrients. We’re doing everything we can, but she’s still in a very dangerous situation” The doctor said,his expression serious.

Lyric felt the tears welling up in her eyes.

“Is there a chance that she’ll… that she won’t…” She couldn’t bring herself to say the words.

“I can’t predict the future,” the doctor said, his voice kind but firm.

“We need to perform the blood transfusion before 24 hours.. There is a chance that she may fall into a coma…..”

“If that happens, we can’t say for sure how long it will last. It could be weeks, months, or even years. And there’s always the possibility that she may never wake up” The doctor further said.

Lyric felt like the world was collapsing around her. “No…. This can’t be… Not my daughter….” she stammered.

Lyric sobbed into Leo’s chest, her shoulders shaking with grief. The doctor looked on, his heart breaking for her.

“I understand that this is very difficult but you have to find a donor really quick,her blood is kinda rare and difficult to find…It’s an unusual type called Bombay blood. It’s very rare, and the only way to find a match is if the donor is a__”

“I’ve the same blood,I’ll be a donor” Leonardo cuts in.

“That’s great,we’ll arrange for the transfusion very soon” The doctor said and left

“Thank you……” Lyric hugged Leonardo even more.

DAVINA’S MANSION

Davina ran down the stairs, her heart pounding in her chest. She had to get out of there, she had to get away. She couldn’t believe that this was happening,she actually shot a kid,is that how obsessed she’s with Leo.

She already packed all her bags,she has to leave the county tonight if possible.

She reached the front door and was just about to open it but what she met shocked her.

It was Leonardo standing there, two police officers at his side.

She froze, her breath catching in her throat.

“What are you doing? How did you get in here? What do you want from-”

Before she could finish, Leonardo grabbed her neck and pinned her to the wall angrily, strangling her neck.

“How dare you Davina! You went too far! How f*cking dare you?!!!” He yelled.

“You’re hurting me Leo!” Davina coughed out.

“Do I look like I care…” Leonardo snapped,his face red.

“That’s okay”One of the cops went to grabbed Davina from him,and handcuff her immediately.

“You’re under arrest for the kidnapping and attempt murder of Pearl Rivera,and you-

“You can just arrest me,where are your prove idiot! Where’s the prove! I didn’t do anything!!” Davina yelled as they began dragging her away. None of the cops gave her a response.

“I’ll make sure you end up behind bars!” He said seriously and Davina kept blabbering till the cops finally dragged her away.

As Leonardo drove away from Davina’s house, he kept replaying the doctor’s words in his head.

The doctor had said.

He pulled over to the side of the road, his head spinning. He needed to clear his thoughts, to try to make sense of all this. He sat there, staring out the window.

If his blood is compatible with hers,that only means one thing. He’s Thier father?

••FLASHBACK*5 YEARS AGO••

Leonardo stood in front of Davina place,his face brighten as he hold a flower and a small box in both his hand,he was looking handsome than ever.

He’s planning to proposed to her today and he can’t help but feel above the world and it’s his birthday too.

He stepped into the house and looked around,but there was no sign of Davina. Isn’t she in? He didn’t actually inform her of his coming cos he wanted it to be a surprise.

He made to leave but he suddenly heard a weird sound from Davina room,he moved closer and the noise began clearly and visible.

It’s was her moan.

Leonardo held the door knob shaking and hoping he’s mistaken but when creaked the door opened, and his breath siezed.

There,was his very own girlfriend being f*cked by two guys in an aggressive manner. Davina is in the middle,while the guys are f*cking her back and front.

The flower and box fell from Davina,and that make them stop on track.

Davina didn’t even seem bothered when she saw him,she only smirked placing one of the guy’s hand on her b**bs.

“Ouch!!!!” She moaned out,mocking Leonardo’s hurtful face.

“Who’s this?” The other guy asked.

“Just one of my random f*ckmates, he’s a nobody.. We only f*ck for his money but now I’m tired of him. I need larger d*ck like you both..” She laughed and thrust his d*ck in her h*neypot! F*cking herself with it.

Leonardo was already shaking as he stood there,he was holding his tears that’s already treathened to fall. How can she break his heart in the most hurtful way ever? Does that mean she never really loved him from the start?

Does that mean she’s been dating him for his money?

Like that,He turned to leave…”Please close the door when you step out…”

He heard Davina said as he walked away. He entered his car and drive off with speed.

LATER••LEONARDO CONDO

Currently,If there’s other word for being drunk as f**k, that’s how to describe Leonardo right now.

A sea of empty bottles in front of him. Jayden and Pierce kept pouring him drink after drink, and he kept downing them, one after the other.

His head was spinning, and he was starting to feel sick. But he didn’t care. He just wanted to forget everything, to numb himself to the pain and confusion that was tearing him apart.

He had lost Davina on his special day and the day he hoped she’ll finally be his fiance after so many years of dating.

She’s his first love,the girl he’ll ever love with all his heart and he lost her.

“Where’s that punk?” Jayden asked Pierce,referring to Dean.

“He said he’s on his way, but I’m sure he’s busy f*cking a b*tch!” Pierce said and they both laughed.

“Are you sure he’s okay? That’s his fourty fourth bottle and he keep going,his he really that happy that he proposed to Davina or is something wrong?” Pierce suddenly asked,as he stared at Leo.

“Maybe he’s just too happy,and he’ll be more happier when he sees out present for him” Jayden smirked and bumped fist with Pierce.

Jayden sat next to Leonardo who’s still drowning himself with a drink.

“You should drink more,that way you’ll be happy to f*ck more…” He smirked and pour him another glass full. He changed the liquor to a 70% of alcohol.

Leonardo no longer heard what he’s saying,he only snatched the drink from him and resumed drinking again.

He was beyond reason at this point, consumed by his grief and anger.

After a complete fifteen minutes, Leonardo was already high and he was even puking. Jayden and Pierce both grabbed him and brought him to his room.

He was nearly seeing,the room was dark and he could only hear his friends whispers.

“Consider this your perfect birthday ever” Jayden whispered as they took him in.

“Enjoy yourself to the fullest man” Peirce whispered too,they then walked out and closed the door.

Leonardo tipsily staggered around the room, touching his eyes every second. Why’s he suddenly feeling like using the restroom again? He suddenly began feeling weird,the feeling was unexplainable.

Just then,he heard a whimpering sound within the room,and his body met with a girl. How did she get in there?

He bent over and began kissing her again when he was done.

She was already too weak from struggling so she just let him. Tears rolled down her eyes as Leonardo unhook his belt and he brought out his huge d*ck.

He did the first thrust and hot tears rushed down Lyrics eyes,tears of pains. She was feeling nothing but pain,this is her first and it’s hellish.

Her hymen broke and she felt a pool of blood beneath her but Leonardo didn’t stop or slow down for her to adjust,he kept on f*cking her crazily and the only thing Lyric could do was shed tears.

Leonardo hands was already shaking as he held the steering wheel,and he’s already sweating so much.

This can’t be! He’s already done for if Lyric found out. Of all people why does it has to turn on be her? She’s surely gonna hate him if she found out.

He can’t let this happen. He has to tell her first before she found out from someone else.

He ignited the engines with shaky hands and drove away.

Lyric sat in the doctor’s office, her mind racing with questions.

“Did his blood really match hers? How’s my daughter doing?” She asked at once.

The doctor look up.

“Your daughter is still in coma but she’s now responding to treatment since she got the blood,I must say her dad really tried a lot with the blood….” The doctor said.

Lyric just stared at him.

What is he saying? But she kept quite and gave a smile.

“It’s a good thing she got the blood from him, cos the blood type is incredibly rare,I was already scared she got it from your other relatives…”

“I don’t understand what you’re saying Doctor,can you higlighten me more?” Lyric cuts in.

“I mean the blood type is only found in people who are related,a child from a parent either got it from thier father or mother. In occasional the blood are mostly found in men…..”

Lyric heart began to race. This can’t be true right? He’s probably lieing to her? But how did thier blood matches so well.

“Thank you, doctor,” Lyric force a smile, her voice shaking slightly. “I… I really appreciate your help”

She stood up and started to walk out of the office, her mind spinning with so many questions,and only Leonardo could answer them all.

She don’t want to jump into conclusion but-

She walked out of the doctor’s office, feeling a mix of relief and confusion.
She took a deep breath and tried to calm her racing heart.

As she walked through the hospital lobby, she saw Leonardo coming through the door.

He looked up and saw her, and their eyes met. He walked over to her, his expression unreadable,his face was so red,he obviously cried.

“I’ve been looking all over for you,are you okay?” He asked.

She looked at him, unsure of what to say.

Should she tell him what the doctor had said? Or should she keep it to herself for now?

“I’m… I’m okay,” she said, her voice wavering. “But… can we talk?”

Leonardo’s hearts skipped a beat.

“Sure..” He replied.

“The doctor keep saying some things I don’t understand,he said if you can donate blood for Pearl that only means you’re related,he kept calling you her dad and I’m sure he’s joking right? I just be delusional….” Lyric drop the bombshell.

Leonardo stepped forward and held her hand.

“I can explain……..” he said slowly,his face filled with guilt.

“I don’t need an explanation,all I need is for you to tell me it’s not true… It’s not you right?”She ask,her voice breaking.
