Chapter 31.
“Well we are done already just need to get out of here”, Melvin said getting on top of his horse.
“Back to sagoe” Kane shouted riding his horse.
They galloped passing through the once bubbling village which is now deserted.
“I really miss josh”, Ranob said
“True but we got pending matters”, Kane said
“We need to catch up with the people and also reach the city fast” Melvin said as they galloped fast.
“Are you sure those traps would slow them down” Ranob asked
“I think so, maybe”, Melvin replied
“But we need to get to sagoe fast”, Dominion shouted.
“We are far away but must get to sagoe by nightfall”, Kane said
They took their horses and raised above the hilltops, where they stopped to check out the land scape.
“This place is plain and we could make a forward attack against the dark army at night” Ranob said
“That’s a nice idea”, Melvin replied
“Let first get to sagoe to report present issue” Catherine said
“Wait, Catherine and Millan you head to the city, we can hold off the army with a stealth attack” Kane shouted
“That could work but how can you 4 hold off an entire army” Millan said
“Don’t care but you guys move along, we have things to set up”, Melvin said.
“Take care of yourselves”, Catherine said as she rode away with Milan
“Go faster”, They all shouted.
“Now boys, we got a army to hold off”, Melvin said.
For Josh”, Kane said.
“For josh”, They all replied.
Location: Ice Wasteland.
Time to begin my training i said to my self as i stretched a little
“Am ready”, I said approaching Wong
“Lets go” He said to me
“So how does it feel to be alone for years” i asked him
“It is a normal thing for me and who days am alone i got tons of things to do here” He said
“Things Like what” i asked
“I guard this region from evil” He said
“What evil”, I asked curiously
“The beasts of destruction are evil and must not leave the region so am always with them”, He said
“So this place is a kind of torture jail”, I asked
“Kind of”, He said
“A time will come forces of evil will rise once again, greater than ever but the light will always defeat the dark”, Wong said
“What the hell does that mean?”, I asked
“With time you shall know”, He said
We arrived to my first place to get on with training.
“This place is awesome, so glittering, so freezing” I said “Why is this place extremely cold than you place”, I asked
“Well the temperature of this place is same with the outside of this cave temperature”, He said.
“So the upland is really cold”, I said
“Yes” He answered
“But your house isn’t cold like over here”, I said “In fact it is kinda warm”
“It is magic” He answered.
“So how do i practice over here?”, I asked
“Well your first training not practice is too go into deeper into this cave and spend a total 4 hours in it.
“But we are in the training cave already”, I argued
“No, pass that door over there and you go deeper and deeper for four hours and then come out” He said
“What is this training for”, I asked
“For you to practice over here, you need to get adapted first”, He said
“Am sure it gets colder when i move deeper”, I asked hoping for the NO answer
“Yes”, He said
“Ice shit” I said sitting on the cold floor
“And one more thing you are going in naked”, He said
“I object my lord” I shouted standing quickly
“Objection overruled” He said snapping his fingers and making my clothes disappear
“What!! you want me to go in there with no clothes on for the next four hours, i will be frozen by then” I said
“Also you won’t be having that around your neck” He said taking my crystal away.
“Am gonna die here”, I shouted
“Just remember all you have to do is in your mind, your mind is your body”, He said “You control your mind, you control your body”
“That was helpful” i said while walking close to the door
Now i was just at the mouth of the door, naked but not hungry, i walked slowly into the cave, feeling the spine shocking cold.
“This old man just want me to end up like some frozen carcass” i mumbled shaking as i took my first step beyond the door.

Chapter 32.
A step is all it takes they say, a painful step indeed is what it takes. I ventured naked into the heart of this cave, growing cold by each step, growing fragile in heart. Has life being fair to a poor boy like me, Father died right in front of me, Mother couldn’t bear the shock she died also.
I was raised in a cold harsh world, treated as trash for years, is this worth helping, should i do this. I was never loved and still ended up in this painful region..
I moved through the cold path and could feel the beating of the harsh wind, really i need peace, i have mixed feelings. Always thought i was special, but am not, am just another guy, who had a bad childhood, driven my the emotion to clear dad name from the bad he did in sagoe. Now am in here.
I moved through this harsh path feeling torture, thinking about my life,
“Am not worth being the hero of sagoe”, I said sitting down on the cold path and thinking.
The torture of the cold never bothered me anymore, my life did, the feeling of guilt overcame me and my mind was filled with it. The only reason i wanted to go the battle and save sagoe was not because i loved it. But because i wanted to be the best and the first an d that emotion ruined me.
Wanted to cry but the tears were frozen, i sat there and the temperature of the room was becoming colder going down to -5°.
“My mind is my body, My body is my mind”, I said “Now i know my guilt, now i know my sin”
But i still need to stay here for the next four hours, even though i become frozen to death, so be it.
“The cold harsh wind can break my body but not my mind”, I shouted my voice echoed all through.
Location: Sagoe
“The Heroes of sagoe are back”, A guard shouted blowing a loud trumpet.
The ancient gates still had the stains of blood and ancient arrows were still stuck on it. The mighty gates were opened and all the rebel villagers entered amazed by what they saw.
“How was thou journey?” King james asked with his protruding belly.
“The journey was great but ended badly, we couldn’t get the orb and the dark army will soon attack”, Catherine said
“Oh no, this is bad”, King james said
“Four of our collegues have decided to attack forefront, you need to prepare the soldiers for war, we have no time”, Catherine said
“Who are all this people?”, The king asked
“They are mighty rebels and have soldiers prepared for battle against the dark king”, Catherine said
“General prepare the soldiers for war”, The king said
“Yes your highness”, He replied taking off on his horse
“My king this is Chief oshimov one of the rebel chiefs”, Catherine said introducing a strong faced oshimov.
“King james i am highly honored to see you”, He said with a hand to his shoulder and is neck slightly bent..
“Thanks, Catherine find a place for their people to stay any place and we need to get ready for any attacks”, King james said leaving.
“And before i go”, He said “Your mother awaits you”
“Thanks my king”, She said
“Chief oshimov please lead your entire people with me for we head to the southern village” She said
“Ok”, He replied
The people followed and were lead to the southern forest, where they made camps and settled down with their families.
“I will he back, just prepare the soldiers”, She said tapping her feet in an unusual way and disappearing to meet her mom the Chief priestess.
“Soldiers!! Get ready for war”, The general s¢ræmed joyfully as he swung his sword around while on his horse
You might be wondering why, the soldiers of sagoe trained day and night, like their heart depended on it. They had always heard stories of the dark city and how strong they are and again have never gone into battle at all..
“We are ready General”, They s¢ræmed in bass voice as they stamped their boots on the floor creating loud noise and heavy shakes, a total of 10,000 soldiers minus the royal bodyguards.
Back in the southern forest
“This place looks amazing”, Millan said
“Of course it does but we are in a ugly situation”, Oshimov said “We might lose this battle and remain slaves for life”
“What do you mean dad?” She replied surprised at his lack of courage
“To be sincere am afraid of this battle”, Oshimov said
“Wht dad?” Millan replied
“I don’t wanna lose anyone not you not this people”, He said
“You won’t now go prepare for battle”, Millan said
Location: chief priestess abode
“Mom”, Catherine called out.
“The dark king as risen and you have failed to get the orb, sagoe shall fall but soon rise, forces of evil will reemerge but light shall prevail” The chief priestess said as her eyes glowed.
“What”, Catherine said
“Go prepare for battle, my daughter there isn’t time to get warm welcomes, prepare for battle, for this will be BLOODY”, She said
“Ok mom, just pray my friends will be safe”, Catherine said expecting a answer but got none from her mom which was quite unusual.
She looked back and saw her mom, looking away and thinking deeply.
She sighed and tapped her feet and disappeared back..
Location: Souther forest.
“Millan”, Catherine called out
“Yes, you are back from your place, what did your mom say”,She asked
“Just a prophecy or Revelation, Sagoe will fall but rise soon” Catherine said
“Pray nothing bad happens”, Millan said
“Am sorry about my act with you back at the village”, Catherine said
“Don’t worry it was just a girls chat”, Millan replied
“Right now we are friends”, She said
“We’ve been since, let lead the rebel army for war” Millan shouted
“Right after you”, Catherine replied giggling
Location: Forefront.
“Guys i see the army”, Ranob shouted
“Oh oh oh holy gasp” Melvin said
The dark army were marching hærd, the dark aura around them was choking and one could feel it. Now it was night and the line has been drawn.
“Nice knowing you guys”, Melvin said hugging them all
“It is a good night to die young” Kane said seeing the numbers.
“For josh”, Ranob said raising his spear.
“Stealth attack initiated, we die here today”, Dominion whispered
“Mess with us you got a storm coming your way” They all said as they got ready to attack.
