Chapter 118 :- SETUP

Filled with hatred for the villainous Xeira who was right in front of her, Ebunoluwa’s face boiled with rage like a volcano waiting to erupt. Due to the intensity of her anger, her eyes glowed and sparked like lightening, her magical energy emitted from her body making the whole cave to rumble. Xeira who felt insulted by Ebunoluwa’s display of power growled angrily and unleashed her powerful sonic scream at her once again.
Seeing as the villainous mermaid had unleashed her devastating scream once again, Ebunoluwa instantly casts a magical portal which sucks in Xeira’s sonic scream. Immediately the portal had sucked in Xeira’s scream, Ebunoluwa reverses the portal which then fires back the sonic scream back at the former but with a much greater force. The impact on the sonic scream didn’t affect Xeira but it blew her out of the cave along with Rotimi who was still trapped inside the water dome.
Stunned and shocked by what had happened, Xeira loses focus allowing Rotimi to escape from her water dome. Now free from his watery confinement, Rotimi rushes at Xeira to deal with her but little did he realize that the villainous mermaid had company with her.

Rotimi ➡ You’re finished, MERMAID!!!

Xeira ➡ Don’t get so cocky, HALF BREED BASTARD! SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE PET!!!

Suddenly as Rotimi was seconds away from reaching Xeira, a big monstrous hand emerges out of the rain water that had gathered on the ground and grabs hold of him pulling him into the water. Seeing that Rotimi had been taken care of, Xeira decides to focus all her attention on the young half breed witch who was yet to come out of the cave. Meanwhile here inside the cave, Ebunoluwa’s heart races as she senses that Rotimi’s presence but despite that she calms herself down and prepares herself to deal with Xeira. After creating some casual clothes on her body using magic, Ebunoluwa teleports outside the cave to confront Xeira but as soon as she gets outside, the villainous mermaid was already waiting for her with an unpleasant surprise.

Xeira ➡ Well, well, you took your time. How was the sex? I hope it was amazing cause it will be your last one, WITCH CUNT!

Ebunoluwa ➡ Olódó, you’re the one that is finished.
.

Xeira ➡ (laughs) Guess again! DIE!!!!
.

Within a blink of an eye, Xeira creates arrows using the rain water falling from the sky and unleashes it on Ebunoluwa who quickly counters it by creating a dome of stone around her. The arrows fell on the stone dome hard but all that force wasn’t enough to crack it. Enraged by the slight set-back, Xeira yells in rage and then magically gathered in one place extending it’s size and mass until it became so big like meteor.

Xeira ➡ Let’s see if your stone shield can hold this! PREPARE TO BE CRUSHED!!!

Without hesitation, Xeira drops the huge meteor sized rain water on Ebunoluwa’s stone shield and as soon as it lands, something unbelievable occurs. As soon as the water meteor and the stone made contact, a huge portal opens on top of the stone shield and in that moment, a big flame merges out portal piercing the water meteor evaporating in a blink of an eye.
Unable to believe what had happened before her very eyes, Xeira uses the rain water around to create large water ring after which she charges towards Ebunoluwa’s stone shield trying to slash it in half but before she could get close, Ebunoluwa emerges out the stein shield and casts flame spell at Xeira. The burst of fire that Ebunoluwa had unleashed was so hot that the rain water dropping in that vicinity evaporated before they drop on the ground. Thinking that Xeira had been caught amidst her flames, Ebunoluwa cancels her spell to see what had happened to the villainous mermaid. Shortly after canceling her spell, Ebunoluwa gasps as she sees a huge tortoise shell just a few distance away from her and before she could get close to it, the shell crumbles and from behind it stood Xeira.

Ebunoluwa ➡ I don’t know how you managed to escape my flames but you won’t get so lucky this time.
.

Xeira ➡ Do you think you witches are the only ones with magic? I’m going to show you first hand how terrifying how sea magic is.
.

In that moment as Ebunoluwa was about to cast another spell, Xeira whispers some strange words after which a thick mist emerges out of nowhere covering the ground and atmosphere. Sensing an ominous vibe behind the mists, Ebunoluwa uses a wind spell to disperse them but her efforts were useless, the mist just kept getting more thicker and thicker as she blew them away. Suddenly in that moment, Ebunoluwa remains still as she hears low groans and sluggish sounds of footsteps heading towards her. She looks around but because of the thick mist, she couldn’t see anything.
Before long, an army of walking skeletons bombard Ebunoluwa and begin to assault but because of her rebounce shield, their attacks came back at them. Although she was safe from the skeletons, Ebunoluwa decided to get rid of them but before she could do that, something unexpected occurred.
Suddenly like a flash of lightening, Xeira attacks Ebunoluwa brutally with her claws but thanks to the rebounce shield her attacks didn’t get through but her attack didn’t bounce back at her. Ebunoluwa who was surprised by this felt a bit uncomfortable seeing that Xeira’s attack didn’t bounce back at her and another shocking thing was, Xeira was different than she was moments ago. She was now a few inches tall and monstrously big, her lovely skin had changed and it was as tough as that of a crocodile. Xeira’s face too had also changed, she now has 3 eyes which were like that of a snake plus, she was a lot more stronger than she was moments ago.
Seeing that her attacks were not going through, Xeira falls back and disappears into the mist leaving Ebunoluwa in a state of disbelief.

Xeira ➡ Your shield is amazing but let’s see if it can hold. I’ll smash your shield to bits.
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ Let’s see you try.

Xeira ➡ With pleasure!!!
.

Determined to deliver what she promised, Xeira casts a summoning spell bringing forth monstrous octopus that have never been seen by man or any other supernatural being. Meanwhile, Ebunoluwa who was cautiously waiting to see what Xeira was up to was attacked by the giant octopus that Xeira had summoned, and in that moment, the giant octopus used it’s giant tentacle to crush Ebunoluwa’s rebounce shield as hard as it could and the more it did that, the weaker the shield became. Shocked that the octopus was weakening her shield, Ebunoluwa quickly casts a petrification spell on the creature turning it to stone. Suddenly out of nowhere, a water arrow charges straight and hits Ebunoluwa on the chest. The impact of the water arrow not only sent her flying but it also left her with a big painful wound.
Now flat on her back moaning with pain, Ebunoluwa was left defenseless against the skeletons and octupus that had surrounded her. Xeira who was watching from a few distance laughed excitedly as her minions closed in on Ebunoluwa to finish her off.

Xeira ➡ (laughs) What a disappointment. I was expecting more from the infinite witch. You don’t deserve that title Ebunoluwa, you’re a joke and a disgrace. I’ll do Evlyn the courtesy of finishing you off. ANY LAST WORDS?

Aiming her water arrow once more at Ebunoluwa, Xeira smiles viciously waiting for her to respond so that she could finish her off but then something unexpected occurred. Within a blink of an eye, a powerful flash of lightening drops on Xeira hard, the impact was so powerful that a big whole was created where the villainous mermaid stood. Shortly after that, the mist clears instantly along with the skeletons leaving only the giant octopus out in the open. In that moment, Xeira climbs out of the hole made by the lightening feeling pain all over her body. Despite getting hit by lightning, her crocodile skin was able to protect her from sustaining heavy damage and also an ultimate death. Seeing that her mist was gone, Xeira orders her octopus to finish off Ebunoluwa but before that could happen, the creature suddenly screamed out loud in pain struggling with great difficulty. Baffled by what was going on, Xeira stands still to see what would happen next and in that moment right before her very eyes, the octopus was raised magically by Ebunoluwa who was now using psychokinesis spell.
Feeling both pain and rage at the same time, Ebunoluwa glares at Xeira viciously as she strangles her monstrous pet in the air and in that moment, she uses her psychokinesis magic to use the octopus to pieces. With nothing now standing on their way, the two alpha females stood still getting ready to face off one more time. Suddenly in that moment, Xeira charges towards Ebunoluwa but before she could get close, something unexpected occurred. Casting a blood magic on her blood and the octopus’s blood, Ebunoluwa manipulates the colored fluids hardening them with magic and then launches them at Xeira like barrage of bullets. Determined not to lose to the young witch before her, Xeira quickly vomits a strange egg from her mouth and smashes it on the ground and as soon as that happens, a huge pool of water emerges at the scene which allows her to manipulate it by changing its shape to that of a huge snake.
With Ebunoluwa firing her blood particles at Xeira, the villainous mermaid uses her water snake for defense, however that was all in vain. Seeing as Xeira was busy defending against her, Ebunoluwa quickly casts another spell which the villainous mermaid didn’t see coming. Out of nowhere, dark giant tree roots erupt from the ground behind Xeira and coil around her tightly trying to crush her but before that could happen, she uses her water snake to free herself but even that didn’t stop the tree roots from charging towards her. With Xeira now distracted, Ebunoluwa manipulates her blood particles once more and launches it at the villainous mermaid like a spear head. The blood spear struck and pierced Xeira’s heart deep coming out through her spine and in that moment, she collapsed on the ground and melted into a puddle of water.

Despite seeing the villainous mermaid die before her very eyes, Ebunoluwa wasn’t convinced that she was dead. In that moment, the young witch silently casted a spell and walked over to the place where hated enemy died and as soon as she got there, the villainous mermaid appeared out of nowhere and sliced off her head from her shoulders. Seeing as Ebunoluwa’s head fell from her shoulders and rolled on the dirt, Xeira laughed excitedly and begins to mutilate the young witch’s body but before she could conclude her vicious ordeal, something unexpected happened. In that sudden moment, Ebunoluwa’s head and body vanished like smoke, even the blood that spilled on the ground was gone as well. Stunned and shocked by what had happened, Xeira quickly turns around and as soon as she does that, she sees Ebunoluwa standing in her former position and in that moment, the young witch smiles viciously at her creating a magical circle which releases a huge burst of flame at her. Angered by this trickery she fell for, Xeira counters the flame with her own burst of water, which she releases from her hands. As the huge flame and large amount of water collide, the whole place was covered with a thick hot boiling steam. Seeing that the steam was getting hotter and unbearable, both Ebunoluwa and Xeira’s cancel out their spells and fall back into the steam to calculate their next move. Xeira who didn’t waste any time use the remnants of the water on the ground harden it to a spear like form with her magic and then hurls it at Ebunoluwa’s direction.
After that, all was quiet but Xeira didn’t let her guard down, she remained cautious waiting to see what would happen next. All of a sudden, the steam clears and as soon as that happens, Xeira sees Ebunoluwa standing defiantly in front of the water spears which she threw at her. In that moment, Ebunoluwa snaps her fingers and the water spears melt before her very eyes.

Xeira ➡ You sneaky cunt! You’re full of tricks and I don’t like it.
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ Well, I’m a witch so it’s natural. Any more feeble attacks you want to throw at me?.
.

Xeira ➡ BITCH!!! You’re lucky we’re not standing close to a river or ocean. I would have killed you.
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ I’m done playing with you. It’s time I showed you what I’m really made of.
.

Xeira ➡ I won’t let you.
.

In that moment, Xeira charges towards Ebunoluwa but before she could get close to, the young witch hits her with a powerful flash of lightening that sent her flying in mid air. With Xeira down and groaning with pain, Ebunoluwa casts another spell which was on different level from the others. Within a blink of an eye, a giant being that looked like an old lady emerges behind Ebunoluwa. Although this being looked somewhat human, it’s features was very terrifying. It’s skin was as black as charcoal and it’s body was like that of a shrunken tree. The creature has four arms 3 of which held a drum stick and one which held a black drum. As Ebunoluwa casts this spell, her body levitates and mounts on this being’s hwad and her lovely eyes became red and terrifying. She then waves her hands and begins to create magical circles which she maneuvers around her in a circle like rotation.
Unaware of what was going on, Xeira staggers back to her feet and tries to attack Ebunoluwa but before she could do that, she freezes as she sees the terrifying eyes of the young witch staring down at her. Fearing what might happen next, Xeira tries to escape but before she could move a move a muscle, Ebunoluwa snaps her fingers making the being to hit the drum with one of it’s arms and as soon as that happens, the villainous Xeira crumbles the ground yelling in pain. In that moment, Ebunoluwa snaps her fingers and being hits the one again with another arm making things worst for the villainous Xeira. Her skin by this time was starting to dry up and crack like the scorched earth.

Xeira ➡ (low voice) What did you do to me?

Ebunoluwa ➡ This is *Iya buruku*. She’s the object of my curse magic. She carries with her all 3 concepts that all living things fear in life. Pain, weakness, and death. Each beat of the drum inflicts one of these 3 and by my count, you’ve been inflicted with 2.. Any last words before the last drum hits.

Xeira ➡ (chuckles) You’ve already lost bitch! It’s over.
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ How is it over?
.

Suddenly in that moment, Orisaye, Iyunloye and the rest of the council except for Rose instantly appeared on the scene looking horrified and shocked. Xeira who saw the company that had just arrived began to laugh mischievously without any bother. Shortly after the Supreme witch’s arrival, her enforcers also appear on the scene and in that moment, they all surrounded Ebunoluwa who was baffled by what was going on.
After processing what she had seen, Orisaye steps forth and address the young witch before her.

Orisaye ➡ So Ebunoluwa, it’s you.
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ What?
.

Orisaye ➡ Don’t play dumb with me child. You’re like Evlyn aren’t you.
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ It’s not what it looks like..

Orisaye ➡ Answer me!!
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ (sighs) Yes I’m an infinite witch but I’m nothing like Evlyn. I’m also against her.
.

WC 1 ➡ LIAR!!!!
.

WC 2 ➡ I agree. They must have been working together fooling us this whole time.
.

WC 3 ➡ Maybe she’s responsible for what’s going on.
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ How dare you accuse me falsely like that? My aunt knows I’m not the enemy.
.

Orisaye ➡ Rose won’t be able to help you. I should have known she was involved in this as well. However, this is all my fault. If I hadn’t agreed to your parent’s union, none of this would have happened. I should have trusted my instincts back then and now here we are. Your existence is a taboo and I’m going to rectify that.

Ebunoluwa ➡ You wouldn’t dare. Leave my parents out of this. They nor I had nothing to do with Evlyn. Can’t you see I was about to finish off one of her most trusted lieutenants?
.

Xeira ➡ She’s lying. She wanted to kill me so that she could cover her tracks and involvement with Evlyn. After all, I saw everything and I’m a loose end.

Orisaye ➡ ENOUGH! Ebunoluwa surrender now. You’ll be judged and see if you’re innocent of the charges made against you.
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ What about her? (Pointing at Xeira)
.

Orisaye ➡ She’ll be dealt with too.
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ I’ll surrender but first, I must save my boyfriend.
.

Orisaye ➡ We do not have time for that.
.

Ebunoluwa ➡ I can’t just let him die!
.

Orisaye ➡ He’s not our priority. Surrender now or make things worse for yourself and your family. Choose.

Seeing that she had no choice, Ebunoluwa cancels out all her spells and surrenders herself. In that moment, Orisaye’s enforcers close in on the young witch and chained her hands and neck with iron brace that contains the *Trinity Seal*. As soon as Ebunoluwa’s magic was suppressed with the Trinity Seal, she and the enforcers along with Xeira teleported to the Witches Realm where they would be detained. Meanwhile somewhere on the mountain top just a few meters from Rotimi’s cave, the rainbow haired mermaid Zenti and a water spirit watch on silently to what was going on. She had been present long before Orisaye and her council members showed up, she might have intervened had it not been for them. Seeing that her step sister had been taken by the witches, she bites her lower lip angrily and begins to speak to the water spirit behind her.

Zenti ➡ Those fools! They’re done for.
.

Ete ➡ Well, there’s nothing you can do for them. They dug their own graves.
.

Zenti ➡ Witches!!! I have to help them.
.

Ete ➡ You mustn’t do that.
.

Zenti ➡ I will. If I don’t that’s the end of the world we’re looking at.

Ete ➡ So.. The seas will be fine.
.

Zenti ➡ What about the humans?
.

Ete ➡ Why do you care about the humans? They’re even worse than the witches.
.

Zenti. ➡ TRUE but they’re fascinating.
.

Ete ➡ If anything, the humans deserve what’s about to happen to them.
.

Zenti ➡ Whatever. Let’s get out of here. I have to find a way to save that little witch.

Ete ➡ Shouldn’t you be warning the rest of her family instead? Why are you wasting your time with them? Xeira should be your priority.
.

Zenti ➡ Xeira will be dealt with but for now, the fate of the world is at stake.
.

Ete ➡ You could die. You saw what Xeira went through.
.

Zenti ➡ (chuckles) You forget Ete, I’m not like my sister. Evlyn and her kind won’t know what’s going to hit them. Come on, let’s get going.
