EPISODE 1
NITA POV
I watched my lover board the plane that morning to Ukraine, he had just gotten a scholarsh¡p to study medicine. I was happy for him but my heart was hurting. How was I going to cope without my Dave! Have known him all my life, our relationsh¡p had developed from best friends to lovers. But now he was leaving, many questions I had no answer to ran through my mind. What if he forgets me? Will our relationsh¡p work out? Though he promised me nothing will change but I just couldn’t help it.
Later that night my beloved Dav called and informed me he had settled down, we had a lengthy talk why I cried all through the call, it took Dav soothing voice to calm me down.
Days turned to weeks and weeks into month until it happened.
I was on my way to the grocery store when I had an accident, the next thing I recalled was finding myself in an hospital bed. Everything changed when I regained consciousness, I had lost my phone and every thing detailed about Dav was gone. His families had relocated weeks back so there was no one to give me his contact
Everything changed about me, I became reserved and pushed every one away from my lifes
“Nita” mother yelled,
I needed no one to tell me Pere had reported me again I am tired of this arranged relationsh¡p, it was something I have to do to save my relationsh¡p with my mother.
“Why didn’t you accept Pere’s proposal?” She yelled bringing me back from my thoughts
“Am not ready.”
“You are not ready? Your mates are getting married yet you say you are not ready at 25”
How was I going to explain to mother that I was beaten by Pere because I refuse to sleep with him, only for him to come back minutes later with a ring.
I wasn’t going to marry Pere not when I still have my breath.
DAV POV
I never expected coming back to Nigeria will be this way, after been away for 8years, I could remember how I imagined this day to be perfect with Nita hugging and k-ssing me, like the way she had done while I was going away. Just 2 month after I left, her number was never reachable, her brother told me she had start seeing someone else when I called him. Just two month and she choose to throw away the love we shared.
Have moved on maybe am lying to myself, have come back to Nigeria for an award, I won’t be staying long. I intended to ask Chimal to be my girlfriend when I get back, though I can’t call what I feel for her love but people say time changes
LOST BUT FOUND LOVE EPISODE 2
NITA POV
“Nita I am sorry for the way I reacted I shouldn’t have force you baby, please give me another chance.” Pere breathed out living me totally confused.
I needed no one to tell me that my mum was behind the curtains, I just had to say yes even if my heart was far from it.
“Okay” I said sadly
He opened his arms while I reluctantly went in, scared of mum’s reaction if I declined.
We had a little chitchat he gave me a package a dinner gown which he wants me to wear for his award night the next day.
Pere was a medical doctor at 29 years he was earning big but his problem was his temper which he couldn’t control.
The next day Pere picked me up, I was clad in the red dinner gown he got for me, no doubt it was expensive we had a matching outfit which made us look like couples made specially for each other.
“You look so beautiful.” Pere complimented me as he led me to his car.
Just as I expected the auditorium was filled with different categories of people that mattered in the society. Pere introduced me to everyone in the building.
“I want to use the rest room” I said just to have a breathing space.
“Okay baby don’t be long”
Instead of going to the rest room like I have said, I went to the parking lot, I needed fresh air and space from Pere.
I rested my back on Pere’s car as I thought of the possible way to escape from Pere and my mum. I felt a masculine touch on my arm, frightened I turned to see David!
“Benita” he almost said in a whisper
“David” I felt tears streaming down my eyes maybe the joy of seeing him again.
I didn’t know who made the first move but we were soon in each other arms
Maybe I was carried away seeing my first love that I didn’t noticed Pere’s presence. Before I could say Jack Pere had pulled me away from Dav giving me two thunderous slap, in a twinkle of an eye Dav was all over him pounding and kicking him, all I could do was scre-m at the top begging Dav. Many people had gathered creating a scene Dav was pulled off of Pere, who shameless stood dragging me to follow him home.
“She is going nowhere with you” Dav said
“And who the hell are you to tell me how to handle my girlfriend?”
“A thug like you don’t deserve Nita, I will see to it that you don’t end up with her”
“I will go home myself” I said to myself and ran off.
I stood at the road waiting for a taxi, after ten minutes a car pulled up beside me.
“Get in please let me take you home.” Dav begged
I went in reluctantly beside I was cold.
LOST BUT FOUND LOVE FINAL EPISODE
Nita POV
I went in reluctantly beside I was cold the dinner gown I wore was sleeves
“Here you should wear this” Dav said putting his jacket over my shoulders
Few minutes later we got to my gate
As I was about to go down Dave asked me to wait
“Nita what happened? How could you move on so quickly, why did you date a guy two months after I left?
Those word struck me I was shocked, how could Dav accuse me of something I didn’t do I said to him
” Dav who told you that? I had an accident two months after you left and I lost my phone, I really tried to contact you but they was no one to give me your number, I only started dating Pere a year ago after much persuasion from my my mom” I finally said to him
“Nita am so sorry, but your brother told me a different thing am so glad I found you and am happy to know that you didn’t move on two months after, have a good night Nita” he said and drove off.
When I entered the house I was expecting an angry mother, but I was surprised when she pulled me into her arms
“Am sorry my child for putting you in danger, you should have told me he was hitting you I saw everything on the news”
“I tried to tell you mom but you never gave me listening ears”
Just then the door flew opened and Pere walked in
“Mother did you know what Nita did?”
“Stay away from my daughter unless you will regret it”
Few minutes after Pere left she turned to me apologetically
“I am sorry Nita I was the one who told your brother to lie to David that you were in a relationsh¡p, I promise not to interfere in your life”
So David was right my family were the one who destroyed my relationsh¡p, I hope he will come back.
DAVID POV
When I got home, my mind was filled with the thought of Nita, I couldn’t sleep all through that night, I made up my mind to make Nita my wife.
The next day I went to a ring shop to get a ring from there I proceed to Nita’s house.
“Dav what brings you here?” Nita asked with surprise in her face
I went down on my knees
“Benita will you marry me?” I asked
“Yes Dav I have always been dreaming of this moment.” She said happily
Her mom apologize to me for causing Nita and my separation.
A month later Nita and I got married and I took her with me to Ukraine.
Nita POV
Everyone that comes to our life’s have their own purpose, some are meant to hurt, change us and others complete us forever. Destiny can be delayed but not denied.
I and Dav gave birth to twins a boy and a girl one year after our wedding.
