The siren rung for closure and he walked to the library for his scheduled talk with his friend. On getting there he met him sitted already.
“Manny, you look dull”he voiced even though he was the one with the dullest facial expression.
“Uh? ”Wallace raised a brow.
“no tell me bro, what happened? ”
“can you believe what the fool said today? ”he said.
Myles c*cked his brow in a questioning manner…

Wallace sighed in depression.
“he said he’d involve my bestie and he’ll make sure our marks for the semester IS cut down,he would rape Charlotte and twist the table against me”
“What! That’s lame and insane ”Myles exclaimed.
“Man I’m damn confused. If I had known of his plans earlier I would have been more careful with that night. Dammit! Alcohol is a bastard”Wallace said in utter pain.
“hey man cheer up, we are now in this together. Let’s plan and you said something of him planning revenge right? ”
“yes”
“I’d say we dig that out and get the truth of the wh0le matter”Myles said.
“yeah, thanks man, I’m indebted to you”
“nah! What are friends for? ”
They engaged in a brief hug of love.
“Myles… ”Wallace called dramatically as they walked to the parking lot.
“yes buddy”he replied.
“I noticed you wore a dull face back then, what’s up? ”Wallace said out of care.
“well… It’s nothing to worry about”
“you know when you’re hiding your emotions you ain’t cheerful but disturbed”
“I.. Actually.. I luckily had a 3minutes talk with Charlotte ”he said coyly.
“OMG! ”
“and unfortunately.. Her dad’s call interrupted the fine moment just when I was having a chance with her”he said depressedly.
“someone wanna die of love”Wallace teased.
Myles chuckled briefly at his tease.
“you’re just performing the saint here like I don’t know your hidden.. Errmm ”he replied.
Wallace was scared if his buddy had known of his secret crush.
“manny,i was just kidding, cheer up but it ain’t bad to fall inlove ”Myles said.
“so says the once hærd hotboy”
They both laughed lovingly.
Myles opened the doors as Wallace entered and the car came to life. Seconds later they were on their way home.
“so wanna hang out tonight? ”
“nah! Dad says to help read his recent manuscript ”Myles replied.
“Ahh! The novel boy”
“dang it! I am a freaking music man, Alberta is the novel person (Alberta is Arianna’s middle name) ”
Wallace chuckled as he tried to control his racing heart, just at the mention of her name!
The solemn music booming from the car stereo fitted perfectly into the tense air.
Myles who had been studying Wallace’s acts smiled. No doubt, the teenager was inlove with his sister. Haha! Feelings.
Wallace rested his head into the soft head rest as he breathed with his eyes closed.
There was sudden silence throughout the drive home.
The car’s tyres screeched to a halt at Wallace’s home which was just 15Blocks away from Myles’s.
Being aware of getting home, he opened his eyes as he stepped down from the car.
“thanks for the ride and for shutting my teasing mouth today but tomorrow I ain’t losing”he said with much humour.
Myles smiled warmly. “I will greet Ari on your behalf bro”he said.
Wallace’s eyes w¡dened in shock.
“don’t… ”he said but Myles was long gone. His phoned beeped and it was a mail from Myles. “we gotta meet tomorrow, I’m skipping school, so we gotta plan on taking the fool down”it read. He[Wallace]smiled and sighed in relief.
“blessed be the day I met you dear Richærdson Osborne ”he muttered in happiness. But he was baffled as to why Myles was always ready to get him on heat by mentioning Arianna’s name.

Charlotte was in,side her room sulking. she was lost in thought, why was her father always warning her of staying away from Myles?
Well,it was not clear to her. All she knew was a short tale her father usually told her about being in partnersh¡p with some people but later he was betrayed. That seemed so lame to her.
And, how on earth did he know she was with Myles?
She suddenly became frightened at that thought. Was someone on her trail?
Her rooms door creaked open as a sober Mr SCMITH KINGSLEY came into sight.
He walked in silence and with careful steps to her mattress.
“dear Charlie forgive this secretive father of yours ”he said with a calm tone. He obviously regretted yelling at her but he couldn’t help it as the anger was bottled up for years in his heart.
She shrugged. “Why should I be annoyed when I know you have a reason for your actions just like when you prevented me from not attending Ryder Jake’s party that was aimed at raping me which you prevented. I ain’t angry dad but you keep to much from me”She said all in one breath.
He sighed as he ruffled her hairs and pecked her forehead.
“Just know that DADDY loves you and never will he hurt you”He said caringly.
“Love you too dad”She replied.
He nodded as he walked outta her room unto his room. The first thing his eyes landed on was the portrait of his beloved late wife which was the epicenter of the wh0le issue. Tears dropped from his eyes as that ugly memory of her death replayed it self in his head.
