While the vampires were busy having their own private meeting, Gilgamesh and the others wait patiently for them to finish although not all of them were patient especially Tyrese who was walking in circles unstop thinking about Lavinia who was in the meeting room.
Seeing how worried his brother was, Jack tried to calm him down but Tyrese wasn’t listening, all he cared about was his girlfriend’s safety.

Jack ➡ Brother, you have to calm down. Nothing will happen to your lady.
.

Tyrese ➡ (silence)
.

Jack ➡ Tyrese! Are you listening to me?
.

Tyrese ➡ I can’t calm down brother not until I see Lavinia come out of that room safely.
.

Frost ➡ Calm down young one. The vampires won’t do anything rash. We just have to wait until they’re done.
.

Jack ➡ But before that happens, I’d like to know if this is all true.

Emma ➡ You still don’t believe us?
.

Jack ➡ Let’s just say that I need concrete proof before I align myself with these parasites. It won’t be easy for us to settle our differences after so many centuries of violent conflict.

Gilgamesh ➡ Everything we’ve said is true. Omhigan is alive and well. Think about it, everything started when Gwen first discovered Arthur and then there’s the attack on the TRISCORP power company, the explosions in the city and the attack that happened here months ago during Gwen’s trial , everything Is connected.

Frost ➡ How?

Emma ➡ Arthur is a wolfire. It’s the only creature that Omhigan is afraid of and there’s the attack on TRISCORP, the Solar generator that was introduced by the power company was all Omhigan’s doing, he was trying to replicate his weapon of ultimate destruction, the BURNING STAR.

Gilgamesh ➡ Since he couldn’t accomplish his plan, so Omhigan decided to kill Arthur by setting explosions in the city to draw him out and pin him on the cops , as long as Arthur is alive his life was in danger. But his plans failed still but then there was some complications.

Emma ➡ Gwen was caught trying to save Arthur. When Omhigan saw Gwen was in cahoots with Arthur, he decided to kill her.

Gilgamesh ➡ By sending some kind of monster during her trial. But usual, Omhigan’s plan failed but now he knows what Arthur looks like.

Frost ➡ I do have one question, where are Gwen and Arthur right now?
.

Gilgamesh ➡ They’re somewhere safe and hidden.
.

Jack ➡ Hmm, Alright then. It seems this won’t be a bad idea. I would gladly look forward to a future where our clans are united in peace and harmony.

Emma ➡ I hope so too. Right now let’s just wait and see what the vampires have decided.

Meanwhile here in the meeting room , the vampire’s discussion isn’t going smoothly as the others might hoped. Majority of them were still in doubting whether to believe or disagree what they had heard moments ago.
Severin who was totally against what Xavier and the others had said, tried all he could to convince the others not to listen or agree to what they heard.

Severin ➡ We shouldn’t believe in such wild tales. It seems that Xavier has joined in his sister’s footsteps to betray us. All of this seems like a trap!

Lucian ➡ I strongly feel the same way!

Victor ➡ I really don’t know what to say. I can’t believe that my own flesh and blood is pregnant for an animal.

Derrick ➡ You’re not the only one in disappointment Victor! My own blood line is stained as well.

Severin ➡ I can’t possibly understand how you both fell right now but I assure you this treachery won’t go unpunished. I believe that we’re all on the same page?

Lazarus ➡ No. In fact I’m considering what Xavier said.

Surprised by Lazarus’s statement, Severin and the others all turn their attention towards him, staring at him like some kind of enemy.

Severin ➡ Lazarus what’s the meaning of this? Why are you supporting this traitors?

Xavier ➡ We are not traitors and stop talking as if we’re not in the room.

Severin ➡ You dare talk to me in that matter?
.

Lazarus ➡ ENOUGH! They also have the right to speak. Xavier!

Xavier ➡ Yes sir?

Lazarus ➡ How can you be certain that all what you’ve just said is true? Words alone aren’t enough for something this big.

Xavier ➡ If it’s evidence you need, it’s already available. Tell me sir, for centuries we were made to believe that we and the werewolves were bitter enemies and that we would never be united. I totally submitted myself to that belief but then everything changed when my eyes fell on Petra.

Lazarus ➡ The female werewolf carrying your child?

Xavier ➡ Yes. I thought it was some kind of illusion but it was real. I was totally smitten by her that I even linked. Vampires were only meant to link with each other but who come I linked with a werewolf. It was then I started to doubt our history and way of life but I never had the courage to criticize it. But then Gwen came along and changed everything, she boldly stepped up and did what the rest of us could not.

Severin ➡ Which is?

Xavier ➡ Seek the truth. She alone sought the truth and got answers, answers that might change everything.

Xavier ➡ SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!!… You know nothing, bad things are about to happen and I won’t let your ignorance spoil everything. A terrible fate is about to befall all of us and I wouldn’t be taking this risk if it wasn’t real. Gwen opened my eyes to the truth and I’m going to do the same before it’s too late.
Time is running out for all of us and if we don’t settle our differences now and come together, We’ll all regret it. I don’t care what happens next, you all may call me a traitor or cast me out, I don’t care. It doesn’t matter if you align yourself with the werewolves but know this I won’t stand still and be ignorant while our Ancient enemy plans to destroy the world. Don’t think you’re safe cause you’re not. It’s time for you to decide now, join us or stay out of our business.

Surprised and speechless by Xavier’s outburst, the elite vampires sat in their seats staring at each other wondering what to do next. Moments later, Lazarus who was waiting for an opportunity to speak seized the moment and gave his opinion about the matter.

Lazarus ➡ You’ve said quite enough Xavier. Your words are quite enticing and with what you’ve just said, I don’t anything to say except that I will join you in your quest.

Lucian ➡ Lazarus!
.

Severin ➡ Traitor!
.

Lazarus ➡ No.. I’m not the traitor. You’re a fool, Severin. Despite all that has happened you’re still ignorant to accept the fact that what is happening backs up what young Xavier is talking about.
Months ago we were all present when that hybrid werewolf popped out of nowhere and Gwen proved it’s existence. We all laughed at her at first but it turns out she was telling the truth. Ever since I saw that monster I’ve taken some time to do some critical thinking cause the existence of that hybrid had baffled me in ways I could possibly imagine and after I heard what Gwen said right here during her trial on the night she disappeared, I was convinced there was something missing in our history that we don’t know about and now here it is.
The Truth is obvious gentlemen, we’ve been in that dark for a long time and now we’ve been brought out into the light and I for one won’t go back to that dark pit of ignorance. If Xavier and his sister were willing to risk it all to let us know about this long hidden truth, then I believe they’re right and it would be a shame if you all don’t see this truth. With what I’ve seen, I believe that the werewolves aren’t our enemies and if they’re willing to settle their differences and align with us, then I’m fine with it.

Standing up from his seat, Lazarus walks up to Xavier and stands by his side, Lavinia who had been silent this wh0le time smiled as she saw that one of the Alpha vampires is on their side. Before long, Lucian too joins Lazarus surprising the other 3 who was shocked when they saw what had happened.

Victor ➡ Lucian! Why?
.

Lucian ➡ Well it’s simple, What Lazarus said makes sense and if he’s joining so am I.
.

Victor ➡ This is unbelievable. What if this is all a lie?
.

Lazarus ➡ It can’t be a lie. Your daughter is carrying a werewolf’s child on her own will, tell me Lucian, who is that possible? Don’t you think there’s a flaw in the laws you’ve been following.

Severin ➡ Don’t listen to him Victor!
.

Victor ➡ Why not? As much as it pains me right now I can’t ignore the fact that there’s something wrong with all this.

Severin ➡ Traitors! That’s what you all are! I will not be a part of this treachery.
.

Xavier ➡ Then you’re the one who’s an enemy of progress. Your presence isn’t needed here. You may be the head of the council but that’s about to change. We’re building a new and better world and it’s seems you won’t be a part of it.

Severin ➡ IMPUDENT B–STARD!! DIE!!!

Enraged by Xavier’s comment, Severin rushes at him with his long stretched claws intending to kill him but before he could get close, Derrick subdues him by slamming him hærd on the ground. Severin tries to break free but he wasn’t strong enough to break from Derrick’s grappling hold.

Severin ➡ Get off me Derrick! Have you forgotten who I am?
.

Derrick ➡ No, but it seems you’ve forgotten the rules which you hypocritically pretend to uphold. No vampire should attack or harm one another in sacred grounds and you have broken that law when you tried to kill my son. I’m sure you know the punishment for such offense.
.

Severin ➡ You Dog! I won’t be replaced easily.
.

Lazarus ➡ I wouldn’t count on that. You’re done Severin, you’re no longer fit to be head of the council.
.

Severin ➡ NOOO!!!
.

In that moment, Xavier steps forward and removes the ring of leadersh¡p from Severin’s finger and hands it over to Lazarus. Severin who was maddened by what happened broke away from Derrick’s grip and rushes to the window where he jumps through it and transforms into a big bat flying into the streets. Before long, Frost and the others who were attracted by the noise bursted into the meeting room to find out what happened.

Frost ➡ What’s going on here?
.

Xavier ➡ It’s Severin. He’s no longer head of the council.
.

Lazarus ➡ He broke one of the sacred laws.
.

Jack ➡ So what now?
.

Lazarus ➡ Now we forge a new alliance. We’ll make this public tomorrow morning but in the meantime we will appoint a new council head.
.

Frost ➡ So I believe everyone has agreed to this alliance?
.

Derrick ➡ Not everyone.
.

Xavier ➡ Father!
.

Derrick ➡ I’m sorry but this has gone a bit too far.
.

Xavier ➡ Excuse us everyone, I’d like to talk to my father privately.
.

Frost ➡ As you wish.
.

As soon as everyone left the meeting room, Xavier tried his best to convince Derrick to join their cause and the new alliance.

Xavier ➡ Father, I want you to understand that things are changing and this would be a good start for us to end our rivalry with the werewolves and once again be allies.
.

Derrick ➡ It’s hærd to accept that everything I’ve been in has been a lie. How sure are you that this alliance will last and how sure are you that the werewolves can be trusted?
.

Xavier ➡ Father, you saw what’s happened already. Our nations alliance will definitely be a strong one. If out nations sees the relationsh¡p between Petra and I or Lavinia or Tyrese, I’m sure they won’t hesitate to unite with one another. I know this is quite a big h0le to leap across but its worth the risk.
There’s an enemy our there whom we all thought was dead we can’t be divided in this situation. We need all hands on deck if we’re going to defeat him.

After hearing his son, Derrick was caught in a deep thought contemplating whether or not he should join this new alliance. In that moment, the image of his daughter Gwen flashed in his mind and it made him feel very uncomfortable. Derrick could vividly remember what he did to Gwen months ago and he was starting to feel bad and guilty for casting her out. Despite what had happened between them, he had sorely missed her a lot but he never told anyone about it not even to his wife. After a while, Derrick finally made his decision.

Derrick ➡ I can’t believe I’m about to do this but I have no choice. I’ll join the alliance but I just hope you’re right about all this.
.

Xavier ➡ It’s true father. Once the alliance has been made, we should make preparations to bring Gwen home.
.

Derrick ➡ You know where she is?
.

Xavier ➡ No but Emma does.
.

Derrick ➡ Hmm, so what now?
.

Xavier ➡ First let’s tell the others about your decision and then we’ll make plans…. EVERYONE!!
.

Before long, Everyone pours back into the meeting room and Xavier soon tells them about Derrick’s decision. In that moment, Xavier seizes the opportunity to introduce Petra to his father.

Xavier ➡ Father, I’d like you to meet Petra. Petra, this is my father, head of the rom-nov family.
.

Petra ➡ It’s a pleasure to meet you sir, Xavier has told me a lot about you.
.

Derrick ➡ Hmm, It seems that my son has chosen a gem. You’re a beautiful my dear.

Petra ➡ Thank you sir.
.

Xavier ➡ So tell me Petra, is your father a man of worth? Are you from a wealthy background?
.

Petra ➡ Uh. No, I’m not rich and I don’t have any relatives. My family are all dead.

Frost ➡ Enough! We didn’t gather here to talk about wealth or social backgrounds.

Victor ➡ Derrick is right to be concerned. I hope you didn’t bring in a stray Lavinia. I’m still mad at you for carrying the child of an enemy.

Tyrese ➡ Ex-enemy daddio. I’m no a stray either. I’m quite deep in the pockets as well. I may not be rich as you but I can take care of your daughter’s needs.

Gilgamesh ➡ Enough Tyrese! Since we’ve all agreed to form a new alliance. I believe it’s time for us to make this public.

Emma ➡ What about Omhigan? I’m sure he’ll be gunning for Xavier and the others..
.

Frost ➡ Don’t worry! We’ll be expecting him.
.

Lazarus ➡ How do you expect to fight an enemy you’ve never seen before?
.

Frost ➡ By luring him with his greatest fear! If what these youngsters say is true then he will be coming for the pregnant women. Which is why we should keep them safe and protected.

Xavier ➡ Petra will be staying in the mansion with me. She’ll be safe there.
.

Tyrese ➡ Lavinia will stay with me.
.

Victor ➡ NO! My daughter stays in her father’s house. She’ll be safe there.
.

Jack ➡ Then in that case, I’ll dispatch some of the pack to give you security.
.

Frost ➡ Good then it seems that things have been settled but until then I’ll do my own part by casting a protection spell around both mansions.
.

Emma ➡ What about Severin?
.

Lazarus ➡ He will be dealt with later but for now let’s all get out of here and carry out the plans.
.

Frost ➡ By all means. Gilgamesh.
.

Gilgamesh ➡ Yes your eminence.
.

Frost ➡ Kind use your spacial magic to get us all out of here.
.

Gilgamesh ➡ Where to sir?
.

Derrick ➡ My mansion first.
.

Gilgamesh ➡ Very well sir.
.

Within a blink of an eye, Gilgamesh unleashes his magic by opening a big black portal which swallows everyone in the room and in a matter of seconds, everyone soon appears in front of the rom-nov mansion. As the others were heading towards the mansion, Gilgamesh pulls Xavier aside and gives him the files he found at TRISCORP.

Xavier ➡ What is this?
.

Gilgamesh ➡ The files i found at TRISCORP. It contains nothing but purchase dates and business deals.
.

Xavier ➡ Hmm, I’ll take a look but in the meantime we need to focus on Omhigan’s identity. Although I’m still not convinced about this protection spell.
.

Gilgamesh ➡ Don’t worry. There’s no wizard/witch alive that can break Frost’s spell and if there’s anyone that needs to get worried, it’s Omhigan.
.
