CHAPTER FIFTY THREE : THE STRANGER 1
Elia gasp as she sit on the huge rock which lays in the middle of the forest ” am hungry ” mumbling my gaze didn’t move from Sebastian, he look so interested in the map that is still taking us in circles ” Sebastian! ”
” milady, you need to calm down ” he growl ” you’re the one who wish to go to the witches coven not me ”
” what are you trying to say Sebastian! ” standing up, he exhale, fold the map then shove it into his pocket.
” milady, you seriously need to calm down, they is a village close by and am sure they will have some food ”
” then what are we waiting for?” Holding his hand I drag him behind me ” hurry up and show me the way to this village ”
” okay, okay”
Looking around the place I gasp at how beautiful the village is, no scratch that. It should be called a town, I mean wow!! My gaze move from one mansion to another, no hut or any stupid looking house.
They must be rich people around here ” let’s head to the market, am guessing that’s where food will be, right?” Looking up at Sebastian he smile then nod his head.
” of course, we should head to the market ” walking behind him I stare at the women cooking through the window, my gaze land on a particular woman who is cooking and her husband hugging her from behind, they look so happy.
And then it hit me, that’s all i wanted, no crown, no war just peace with Alexander and our children, living in a simple mansion close to a water fall ” milady?” Turning my attention back to Sebastian I fasten my step to catch up with him.
Right now I just need to get stronger for Alexander and am sure if he finds out am not heading to the east, he will burn with anger ” we are here milady ” I look around, the market is huge, so many activities taking place already.
Lots of people around, the place kind of seem crowded, too crowded to think properly ” look milady, some bread ” holding my hand Sebastian drag me behind him till we arrive at the bread maker shop ” one of them is how much sir” asking the old man smile before answering.
” three silver coins ”
Before I could speak Sebastian beat me to it ” are you being serious, can’t we get it in two silver coins ”
” three or nothing ” the man seem unshakable from his decision so I shake my head towards Sebastian then proceed to take my money bag out but before I could dip my hand into it and take the money someone snatch it from my hand.
Everything happened so fast that my frown deepen” hey!!!!” Running after him I scre-m” that’s mine!!!” The paper Alexander gave me was also in that bag, I need to get to him and fast, he can’t take that from me, I refuse to lose that to anyone.
I watch him jump into a h0le, maybe I should have think twice before following him in there but I didn’t, I jump straight into God knows what ” hey!!!” No single light anywhere ” give that back!”
” No” his voice deep, from the sound of it, this guy won’t be a small child, only his voice can scare the hell out of someone.
” you can’t just go around stealing people stuffs”
” who says I can’t?”
” I did, the government did!” I scre-m ” what you did is called stealing ”
” I like to see it as something am borrowing ”
” that’s not how you borrow!” Growling I exhale ” give me back my money jackass, I don’t have time for such silly games ”
” oh really” I heard his footsteps from my left so I quickly turn to that direction ” you’re the one being silly here, jumping into your death trap, silly girl” his face came into view, he has blond hair and grey eyes, high cheekbones, pointed nose, perfect l-ips, tall, muscular.
He is handsome but something he said annoys me ” don’t call me that !” I growl looking at him eye to eye, only Alex calls me that, no one else.
” shy?” The look his eyes, like he knows me ” because Alexander calls you that?” Well that confirms it, he do know me but why steal from me? Looking around I frown, Sebastian isn’t here, am all alone in this dark place with him.
” who are you?”
” that bastard” he growl ” have you heard” he step closer ” he lost the duel, lost the duel to Norman of all people ”
” impossible ” mumbling I step back” you are lying, Alexander is far stronger than Norman ”
” hmmm” he stare at me without speaking, silence engulfing us before he throw my bag back to me and I caught it ” am coming with you guys ”
” why? ” I fake a laugh” I don’t even know you”
” I know you and from what I see, that companion of yours can’t protect you, he already lost your location ” he seem so serious ” am vix, Alexander send me to you, what’s the better way of introducing myself if not stealing from you ”
I lost words ” what?”
” I Mean you are good in running but as a human still weak ” his smile turn to a frown ” I thought you were ask to head to the east empire, this isn’t the way there”
” I have somewhere else to head to ”
” somewhere like?”
” that’s not your business vix” moving towards the opening I jump in, I look up and frown, how do I get out of here ” get me out ”
” No”
” I thought Alexander send you to me, to help me out!”
” protect you not be your send boy” meeting his gaze I frown ” wherever you think you’re heading to is not going to happen, you are going to the east empire and no arguments ”
” oh really ” I turn to his direction folding my hands.
” oh yes”
” you’re not the boss of me ” growling he swiftly move to my direction, so fast I didn’t notice, bending he throw me over his shoulder ” we are going to the east empire ”
” let me go!!!”

” book of names ” I rush my words ” I need to find a way to open it” the words left my mouth after he jump us out of that h0le, dropping me down I watch the shock reaction on his face.
” you’re with the book?” I nod to his question ” that bastard!” Growling he look at me” how could he give my sister such a dangerous book !!”
” sister?” I blink at the use of those words, he is obviously not my brother, what has gotten into this strange man, all I can think of now is how to escape from him.

CHAPTER FIFTY FOUR : THE STRANGER 2
Sitting down in vix house I look around the living room, just two chairs and nothing more, he lives like normal man ” why did you call me your sister?” I mumble the moment he step back in the living room, holding a tray with him.
He drop it on the table, I stare at the juice then back to his face ” how am I sure this is not poison? ”
” because if I wish to kill you, I would have done that a while back” he sit opposite me then smile ” you do know you are weak ”
” thanks for the reminder vix, I totally forgot” he frown at my tone and I roll my eyes ” look, I don’t care who you are or why you think we are related, I totally don’t care, I just need to leave right this moment ”
” I told you ” he lean on the chair ” where ever you go, I go with you ”
” I don’t need you ”

I remain quite, we stare at each other and it then became a staring competition, the person to blink first lose, am good at this, no one has ever beaten me to it before ” if you lose, you tell me whatever I wish to know”
He smile ” deal ” and then it started, I watch him lick his l-ips, those eyes looking down my body, in a normal situation I will blink thrice to take in what’s happening but right now I refuse to lose.
I watch his eyes move to my thighs, he has totally forgot what is happening so in the process of me w¡dening my legs slowly, he blink out of surprise, robbing his eyes and try looking again but my legs are closed shut and when he realize that, he frown.
The sight made me chuckle ” I won!!!” scre-ming he lower his hands and frown.
” don’t try that shit with me ”
” you started it ”
” I expected that to make you blush then blink but it looks like, you are use to being looked at that way…let me guess, Alexander? ” what he said made me blush ” you have slept with him?”
” shut up ”
” and she is not denying it!” Vix stand to my feet and pull me up too ” did that bastard Alexander force you, you have always said you will wait till marriage before any one can touch you”
” what are you talking bout ” I slap his hands off my shoulder ” first of, I have never said anything like that, secondly I don’t even know you!”
” you’re my sister ”
” I only have one brother and he is just seven years old “growling I frown ” what are you even saying ”
” aqua?”
” you mean the lady I look like?” He nod sitting down, those gaze still looking at me ” you know am not aqua right” he nod ” so why treating me like your sister”
” because I miss her ” he smile ” she is my only sibling, well the only one I talk to before her beauty land her in trouble ”
Sitting down I look at him, feeling sorry, I know fully well what it feels like to lose someone dear to you, I lost my dad, even if mum don’t talk much about him, I still miss him ” what killed her, I heard she was once Alexander’s ”
He nod ” she was but then suddenly, she decided to go with Lucian, out of the blue she forgot about Alexander ” vix frown” am sure Lucian did something to her”
” what do you men?”
” If I remember correctly, the first day aqua saw Alexander she fell, she loved everything about him, even if Alexander never laughs, she was able to make him smile but then suddenly she ask him to break off the wedding only to run to Lucian and few days later, she was murdered ”
” murdered by who?”
” I have no idea” vix hands clench ” I plan on finding that out but it has been centuries, still no clue ”
” who do you suspect?”
” Lucian” he shrug ” I have never liked him anyway but then, they was no reason for him to kill her ”
” hmmm” Lucian told me, they were about getting married before she died and now vix is telling me aqua was Alexander’s before Lucian stole her? How can someone forget who they love that easily?
Maybe she never loved Alexander.
Maybe she was forced in it ” is okay ” smiling vix stare at me” you can call me your sister, I don’t mind acting like one to you” standing up I move towards him and pat his head ” little brother” grinning I watch him stand to his feet and am force to look up to meet his gaze.
” this time around, you are little ” his finger touch my face, I clinch at how cold it is ” plus you are not really blood related so when ever I need a k-ss in this long journey, you will give me one right?”
” no way” slapping his hand from my face I watch him chuckle hærd ” milady!!” Hearing Sebastian worried voice I turn and he pull me into his arms ” I was so worried, I thought I lost you ”
” Sebastian ”
Withdrawing he cup my face ” are you wounded, are you hurt, did this man do anything to you ” his gaze move to a relaxed vix, Sebastian glare, those glares seem deadly.
” no, that’s my brother”
” brother?” Sebastian look down at me ” you have an elder brother who looks at you like he wants a k-ss”
A blush creep into my face ” when did that happen?”
” earlier when he touch your face” Sebastian look curious about something, I know is something stupid he is also to say ” milady, are you into incest ”
” of course not, I only love Alexander” I yell then watch the both men gasp out of surprise.
” you love him!!” they both scre-m and I frown, grabbing my bag and stepping out of the house ” milady, where are you headed to?”
” somewhere far away from you two ”
” milady” the words roll from vix mouth ” I like it, I will call you that ”
” why is this man coming with us?” Sebastian growl” witches don’t like vampires”
” witches?” Vix gasp ” you two are headed to the witches coven, because of a book?” Vix swiftly move ahead of me, stopping me on my track ” have you lost it!”
” don’t talk to me in such manners vix ”
” that book will kill you”
I furrow my brows” how do you know? ”
” because I was among the people that created the book and no, am not a vampire” vix shoot Sebastian ” you guess wrong!!”
Confusion seem to my clouding me right now, aqua was a vampire and vix says he is not one ” you and aqua can’t related by blood ”
” we are ” vix frown ” half blood, must be why I fell for her years back” his eyes darken ” I fell for brown eyes and now am seeing one again” Sebastian hit the back of his head after he mumble that.
” you can’t fall for milady, take those bloody eyes off her body!” Sebastian seriously look determined to make vix stop looking at me.
My cheek redden from embarrassment.
