FINLEY RESIDENCE
“Marriage? But that’s impossible, I never agree to such a thing” Carolyn said staring from her godfather to Ross and his father who came with him.
“Well, am to be blamed since I kept it away from you. The offer for you being the next crown princess came some days ago but due to work and all, I totally forgot” Her godfather said quickly.
“That’s where the problem is father, you shouldn’t have been the one that was told. It should have been Carolyn ” Theo spoke as he pulled Carolyn to him.
“When it comes to marriage, it should be done by the elders and you aren’t one to talk since you are the one behind this” Ross said glaring at him.
Carolyn stared at Theo and saw the guilty look on his face before he successfully masked it.
“While you talk, I will take Carolyn to her room” He said and walk with her to the stairs.
When they were in her room, a still confuse Carolyn sank on the bed deep in thought.
Theo sat beside her and took hold of her hand,earning her attention.
“Don’t worry, I will talk to dad and am sure that something will be done about it” Theo assured and she wanted very much to believe in him but she couldn’t.
“But Ross is…” Her words was cut off when Theo kissed her.
She was shocked at first but she quickly pulled away ending the kiss.
“Theo” she called out softly.
“If you are going to think about something then think about this kiss and also about me. I already told you how I feel and I need your response”
“Theo I…”
“Save it. Don’t give me a reply now think about it and get back to me and let me tell you here and now that I won’t be taking no for an answer. Am madly in love with you, start getting use to it” he said and stood up.
He turned to leave only to take her by surprise by kissing her again.
“Get some rest, it’s going to be alright” with that said, he left the room, a look of anger replacing the sweet smile from earlier.

JUNE’S RESIDENCE
June got to her room only to receive a message from Terry.
★ GUESS WHERE I AM RIGHT NOW?★
★ DO YOU THINK I CARE ★ she texted in return.
★ YOU SHOULD SINCE YOUR MOM IS IN THE KITCHEN SERVING ME DINNER, I WONDER WHAT SHE WILL SAY WHEN I SHOW HER THE PICTURE FROM EARLIER ★
On reading the last message, June dashed out of her room and as soon as she got downstairs, she saw Terry seated in the dinner room enjoying the beef stew her mother had made.
“I thought you said you weren’t hungry, did you change your mind?” June mother asked.
” I haven’t, am here for him. Excuse us mom” she said as she pulled Terry out of his seat to her room.
“What was that about” she asked as she lightly hit his arm.
“I told you to quit the cheerleading club”
“And who are you to demand such thing from me? Why do you even care? It’s not like you are boyfriend!”
“If I were your boyfriend,I wouldn’t even let you be close to any guy much less for you to dress in something short ”
“And am glad that you aren’t my boyfriend. So stop threatening me and leave me alone,my life isn’t yours” she said as she turn away from him but Terry took hold of her arm and drew her into his arms.
“The only time I will stop meddling is when you are capable of taking care of yourself. Can’t you see that am doing this for your sake,you are bound to attract lousy guys by wearing such provocative….” Terry was cut short when she suddenly kissed him.
June who was shocked by action quickly pulled away starring at him in shock.
“A…am sorry…I…didn’t mean to do that” she said licking her lips, an action which Terry couldn’t ignore.
“Then am sorry too” he muttered and pulled her back into his arms, slamming his lips on hers.

NEXT MORNING ~ FINLEY RESIDENCE
All dressed and ready for school, Theo was waiting for Carolyn to show up so they can leave for school when the driver came to him.
“Miss Carolyn already left for school” The driver informed.
“When? How come I didn’t know?”
“Well, she left quite early and also she didn’t let me take her, she took a taxi ” the driver said which made him sigh out.
She didn’t wake up to go to school early, she did it solely to avoid him….he thought as he went to take his bike.

ROYAL HIGH
Carolyn was the only few who had arrive early to school.
She had been resting when she decided to take a walk.
She was about to leave her class when she saw Theo coming down the hall, Immediately she ran back to her desk and hid under the table.
“What brings you here,Theo?” She heard one of her classmates ask.
“Have you seen Carolyn?”
“She was here a while ago, she must have left” her class mate said.
“Oh, thanks” Carolyn heard him say, she stayed hidden under the desk until she was sure he was gone.
She got out from under the desk and got the shock of her life when she saw Theo standing by the door way watching her.
They stared at each other without saying a word and it was Theo who broke eye contact.
He pulled out phone and sent her a text before going to his class.
★ I CAN TAKE ANYTHING YOU THROW MY WAY BUT IT WOULD DRIVE ME CRAZY IF YOU AVOID ME★
She read his text and couldn’t help but to feel guilty but it’s the best thing for them since she didn’t feel the same way.

Roxanne had a rose in her hand as she went to the junior block.
She was almost at Liam class when she saw him talking to two female students and judging by the look on their face, Roxanne could tell that they were hitting on him.
Consume by jealousy, Roxanne went towards them interrupting their conversation.
“Mind if I take him away, you see I have something to give him” she said and pulled him away before they could stop him.
It wasn’t until they got to one of the school lab that Liam succeeded in pulling out his hand.
“You almost broke my hand!” Liam shouted.
“Who were those girls?”
“A friend”
” Friends? I doubt that” Roxanne said feeling more jealous.
“I don’t have to explain anything to you since I owe you no explanation. I already made it clear to you that am not interested, do me a favour and leave me alone” he said and was about to leave but she obstruct his path.
“And I told you that I won’t give up. I came all the way here to give you this” she said as she stretch the single rose to him.
“A guy should be the one doing this” Liam said starring at the rose.
“It doesn’t matter who take the lead, I believe that if you want something then you do your best to get it”
“And you think you can succeed with me? Sorry but girls like you aren’t my type, I like girls whose looks is quite different from yours” Liam said wanting to push her away but instead,Roxanne walk towards him cornering him against the wall.
“Pretty girls aren’t everything” she said starring lustfully at his lips and Liam couldn’t help but to flush by her closeness.
“Th…they are…to me” he stammered.
“Then you leave me no choice, I will just have to prove to you that am pretty too” Roxanne said as a thought came to her.
“How do you plan on doing that?”
“You will see on the day of the sport festival. I will definitely blow your mind away and so try to stay pure for me, little handsome devil” she said as she did a wink before leaving the lab.
Liam stood starring at the door way, wondering why he’s suddenly feeling strange.

Carolyn was taking her note to the teacher’s office when she came across Ross.
“We need to talk” Carolyn said.
“We had the chance to talk last night but you ignored me” Ross said.
“That was because I was surprised by the news. What’s with this marriage stuff? I thought you said you are going to court me until I feel the same way you do ”
“I was going to do that but I changed my mind”
“But you can’t force me into a marriage I don’t want. Did your father and my godfather really plan on marrying us?” Carolyn asked.
“Since you made Theo your spoke man, it’s best you ask him what happened last night. I can only tell you two things which is that I won’t ever let you go and also, don’t trust Theo, he is not who you think he is” Ross muttered before walking past her.

FINLEY RESIDENCE ~ EVENING

Ross words kept going through Carolyn’s head as she stood in the kitchen preparing her cereal.
The sound of a bike made her aware of Theo’s arrival. Immediately, she picked up her cereal wanting to go upstairs but the opening of the door got her hiding under the kitchen cabinet.
She had her head down, Praying Theo would go straight to his room so she can escape to hers.
She was still praying within when she open her eyes to see him crouching in front of her.
“Playing hide and seek?” He asked and quickly she got out from her hiding place while he stood up too.
“I…I was just looking for my spoon” she made up quickly.
“Oh, your spoon. I get that you must be feeling pressured by my confession and about my feeling for you, but I told you not to avoid me, it’s the one thing I won’t tolerate”
“Theo I….” A gasp left her lips when he lifted her to seat on the cabinet.
“What are you doing?” She said wanting to get off but his arms went around her waist, holding her down.
“You’ve been doing your best to avoid me, it’s time for your punishment” he whispered starring at her lips.
“What’s my punishment going to be?” Carolyn found herself asking, feeling a thrill of pleasure overwhelm her.
“This” He whispered and kissed her.
They were both engross in the kiss that they failed to notice the arrival of someone.
“What is going on here!”
