Dianna’s POV
I drove for the rest of the night and by morning, I got to the valley beyond the Dark Forest
Everywhere was plain and quiet except for a small cabin situated in the middle of the plain land
“Hello?! Anyone here?!” I asked aloud as I walked towards the cabin
I made to knock on the door of the cabin but I stopped, something seemed awfully eerie and I knew I wasn’t alone
“Whoever you are, you better come face me because I fish you out myself and when I do I will rip your throat out” I said
The cabin suddenly disappeared and I turned around to see a young woman with white hair in front of me
“And who the bloody hell are you?” I asked and she looked at me wide-eyed
“You…..you are Dianna Hammington, the eldest of the Hammingtons” she stuttered looking astonished
“Thank you for doing my part of the introduction but I still haven’t gotten your name” I said and she hesitated a bit
“I…..my name…..my name is Drusilla” she said
“Okay Drusilla, do you happen to know Eva Jones?” I asked and she slowly nodded staring into my eyes
“I know why you are here” she said
“You do? Why am I here then?” I asked
“I had a vision before you came, you are searching for your brother, Eric Hammington, right?” she asked and I slowly nodded
“Come with me” she said as she walked into one of the caves in the mountain and I followed her in
The cave was pretty much scattered with her belongings and she motioned for me to sit on a stone she had set
“So? Have you seen my brother?” I asked and she nodded
“Yes I have, six years ago Eric Hammington walked into this valley just like you did in search of me, Eva Jones had asked her to come meet me to find a way to break your thousand years old curse but Eric wasn’t concerned about that, he was more hellbent on his mission to end all of his siblings and all he wanted was for me to help him locate his twin sister, Gia Hammington, which I did and he left and I haven’t seen him ever since” Drusilla explained and I nodded
“If that is what happened then I guess you can be of no help to me then, I shall take my leave, thank you for your time” I said as I stood up to leave
“I can still help you” Drusilla said and I stopped
“How? You do not know where Eric is do you?” I asked
“Yes I do not know where he is but I can help you find him” she said
“Thanks for the offer but I’ve had a dozen witch covens try to locate him but none of them succeeded and I certainly do not think you will either” I said
“I am more powerful than you think Dianna Hammington, and the last known location of Eric is here, I could use the energy here and coupled with your blood, I might just be able to do what your dozen witch covens failed to do and find him” Drusilla said
“You mentioned my blood?” I asked and she nodded
“You are his sister after all, your blood will help us trace him” she said and I nodded
I sat down in front of her and she brought out a dagger to cut my hand but I suddenly grabbed her hand and she looked at me surprised
“Why are you so keen on helping me find Eric when there’s nothing in it for you?” I asked
“I only want to help you find Eric, he was special to Eva and Eva was my friend” she said and I nodded and let her hand go
I brought out my hand but I suddenly withdrew it and stood up
“You see Drusilla, I am very keen about my sorrounding and after living with a witch called Layla for six years, I know a mind reader when I see one” I said and Drusilla quickly threw her dagger at my arm and made to run away but I grasped her wrist with my flaming hand and she screamed in pain and fell to the floor on her knees
The cave suddenly began to change and I saw Eric’s body lying unconscious on one side of the cave
“What the bloody hell did you to my brother?” I asked and she looked at me and smiled
“You knew, you knew I was deceiving you from the beginning yet you played along, you might have suspected me the moment you saw me but I still don’t understand how you were able to hide your thoughts from me throughout your act” Drusilla said
“Like I said before, I have friend who’s also a mind reader and she taught me a few tricks, now you tell me Drusilla, why the bloody hell is my brother laying there unconscious and what have you done to him?” I questioned and she smiled as she stood up
“I like to call him my life battery, when I discovered who you are, I was going to make you my life battery too, I mean how cool would it be to have the powers of two immortals? But then you decided to be overly smart and now you will have to die for it” she said as she suddenly brought out a golden dagger and swayed it at me and I gasped as I quickly moved back avoid the dagger
“You have the golden dagger” I said still surprised and she smiled
“It was a little gift I got from Eric and this dagger isn’t the only thing I got from him” Drusilla said as the thunder suddenly began to rumble and she waved her hand directing a lightening at me but I swayed left, only slightly missing the lightening
She sent another, and another and another but I managed to dodge them all
“You have Eric’s power too, cool” I said and she smiled
“I know right” she chuckled
“But I am tired of your games now Drusilla”
“Oh why? I’m only just starting” she said and my whole body began to flame up
“You will die by my hands today Drusilla” I said as I moved towards her
“Oh oh, why don’t we take a break from this game?” she said as she muttered a spell and disappeared just before I got to where she stood……

Dianna’s POV
I ran out of the cave looking around but I couldn’t find Drusilla, she had disappeared into the thin air
I walked back inside the cave to the Eric’s pale body
“I hope you aren’t that heavy Eric” I said as I lifted him up and carried him to my car
I drove back to Arcane City, to the Hammington Mansion and the guards helped me carry Eric in
“What’s going on? What the hell happened to him?” Layla asked on seeing Eric’s body
“That’s what I need you to find out, I found him like this in the hands of a witch at the valley beyond the dark forest” I narrated
“A witch?” Layla asked
“Yes, and she escaped before I could really get her, is there anything you can do to help Eric?” I asked and Layla began to examine Eric’s body
“Looks like a blood linkage spell” Ethan said as he walked into the living room
“Definitely looks like it” Layla said and then looked Ethan
“Where have you been? You were also out throughout the night” Layla said
“Nowhere” Ethan said and Layla gasped
“You met with Ivan didn’t you?” Layla asked
“Quit reading my mind old woman” Ethan said as he began to climb up the stairs
“You met with Ivan?” I asked Ethan
“You have any problem with that?” Ethan asked looking straight at me
“Where have he been? What has he been up to?” I asked
“I don’t think I’m obligated to answer that question of yours and don’t you dare read my mind and tell her Layla” Ethan said to Layla and she shrugged
“I won’t say anything” Layla said
“Well wherever Ivan is, when you meet him again do let him know how we’ve found his brother in the hands of a crazy powerful witch that’s still on the run, the witch is a mind reader just like Layla and I was barely able to trick her from reading my mind, do make sure to add that the witch also have the golden dagger with her” I said
“The golden dagger?!” Layla and Ethan exclaimed
“How did she get that?” Ethan asked
“Probably from Eric, do convey my message to Ivan and let him decide whether to continue roaming in the wilderness or if it’s time to come back home” I said
“What’s the Witcher name?” Ethan asked
“Drusilla, why do you ask?” I asked but Ethan ignored as he began to walk out
“Where are you going?!!” Layla yelled after Ethan
“To get my golden dagger from whoever that witch is” Ethan said as he walked out
“What does he mean? He doesn’t even know where the witch is” I pointed out
“He’ll probably look for her and find her, he remains the guardian of the hell gates after all” Layla said
“But the witch is dangerous, if he does find her, he won’t be able to handle her alone” I said
“I think Ethan might do just fine, he’s also a powerful witch you know, perhaps, it will be good if he kills off the witch cause the only way to make Eric wake up is to kill her, she’s linked herself to Eric using his life essence and his powers to survive, I cannot help Eric from here, only way to release him is to kill the witch, Drusilla” Layla said
“More reason I shouldn’t let Ethan go alone, this is my brother and this is my fight, I’m long done with making people fight my battles for me” l said as I turned to leave
“Wait!” Layla said
“You are not coming with me Layla” I said
“Of course I ain’t coming with you, I don’t go anywhere till I’m done with my breakfast and I’ve only just started but if you and Ethan are going to track Drusilla, then you’ll need something that has a kind of connection with her, I’ve been teaching Ethan for years but he never listened and now he just barged out without any kind of linkage for his tracking spell, anyway, since Drusilla is linked to Eric, using Eric’s blood as a link could lead you to her” Layla said and I nodded
I got a small bottle and filled it with Eric’s blood
“I’ll be back with the bloody witch’s head” I said as I walked out
“It’s very okay if you don’t come with the head, you just have to kill her and that’s all” Layla yelled as I walked out of the Mansion
Gia’s POV
“Chloe?” I called as I walked outside but I saw no one
Where is she?
I went round the house searching for Chloe and I finally saw her with Adrian in the courtyard
“Lemme tell you a story Bellatrix” Adrian said to Chloe
“Once upon a time, there live a family of four siblings, they were savageries and cursed with very strong powers and every one was very much afraid of them, the oldest of the four siblings was Dianna Hammington, she……”
“Adrian!!” I yelled as I quickly dragged Chloe from her
“What the bloody hell are you telling my daughter?!” I asked
“Your daughter?” Adrian scoffed
“I was telling her about her true family, a truth you’ve decided to keep hiding from her!” Adrian said and I looked at Chloe
“Go inside Chloe and don’t come outside till I tell you so” I said
“But I wanna hear what dad is saying” Chloe protested
“I said go inside!!!” I yelled and she ran inside
“What the bloody hell are you planning Adrian?” I asked
“Do I need to have a plan up my sleeves to tell the little kid about her parentage?” Adrian asked
“And when the hell did you start caring about saying the truth?!”
“The moment you decided to disregard our plan and fall in love with that kid!” Adrian yelled
“Same way I disregarded my family and fell in love with you?” I asked
“That is very different from this case” Adrian said
“And how is it so different? You were my family’s enemy but I fell in love with you and I worked with you against my family, I deceived my family for you! I killed the only person Eric’s ever loved for you! I….”
“I never forced you to do any of those!!” Adrian yelled and I nodded
“Of course, you never forced me, I did everything willingly because I loved you but I love Chloe and I will do much more for her, willingly, to keep her safe, I will do anything for her”
“Bellatrix is the greatest witch to have ever been born, her destiny goes beyond her staying here and playing your daughter” Adrian reminded
“Outside Mordor, yes, she’s going to be a very powerful witch but right here in Mordor, there’s no magic nor curse within her, she’s only but my daughter!” I stated
“What the hell has come over you Gia, do you plan on living your whole life here and like this?!” Adrian asked getting frustrated
“Yes that is exactly my plan Adrian and will not let you nor anyone ruin it for me” I said
“Well I want no part of your plan, I told you before right? My patience is running out, I gave you a two days ultimatum before but now you have only a day left, make your decision fast, I have the black stone with me and I’ll be leaving with Bellatrix in a day’s time, only thing is if we’ll be leaving with or without you” Adrian said and walked away
