Lucy came back, opened the door and met the shock of her life,..she saw Kate holding a pencil knife, trying to stab the sleeping baby with it, Lucy scre-med aloud,rushed in,side and angrily pushes Kate away, and this made her to staggered and hit her head hærd on the wall, and she started bleeding on the head,..
so Lucy walked up to the sleeping baby and carried him ”u are a monster Kate for trying to kill ur own baby! I thought everything was settled before I left this house! but I never knew u have ur own devilish plan! God have mercy on u!! so if I haven’t come in,side, u would have stab this innocent baby? u are a demon”,Lucy angrily said
”wait wait wait! is it because of this criminal child that u pushed me like this? Kate asked, holding her bleeding head ”just thank ur star that am in a good mood, if not, I would have strangled u to death without even minding u are my elder sister,.. stupid elder sister”,Lucy yelled and cuddles the baby
”why are u always protecting this thing? a child that will grow up and becomes an armbed robber just like his stupid father! for Godsake Lucy, the father of this child killed our dear mother! don’t u remember how mama was shot? don’t u also remember how I was raped? the sight of this child always make remember that horrible night, that is the main reason why I want to end his life and move on with life! hand that child over to me now because I will never rest untill I make sure he is dead”,Kate cried with her head still bleeding
”u are sick kate! u are sick on the head! I can see u need a doctor attention! I know and am very sure one day, u will wake up and realized ur mistake but before that time it will be very late for u”, Lucy said and walked away with the baby, leaving Kate in tears and to wallow in pain.

SEVEN YEARS LATER
Good luck has grown so big, he was very handsome, brilliant and hærd-working,..but although,Lucy has been the one taking care of him,she puts him in school, bought him clothes,.. celebrate his birthdays in a small way,..to crown it up,.
.Lucy so much love good luck like his own son,..and good luck on the other hand loves Lucy so much like his own mother, but although he knew that Lucy isn’t his mom but Kate,…but he wished Lucy was his mom but too bad, but the hatred Kate has for good luck grew stronger day by day,..she still stand on her words that she will make life a living hell for good luck.

Good luck came back from school, walked into the house and met Lucy making up ”good afternoon aunty”, good luck greeted and hugged her ”afternoon my boy, how are u? Lucy replied smiling ”am fine aunty! are u going out? good luck asked ”well I was actually coming to ur school to pick u up but since u are here already no need for that”,Lucy responded
”aunty I waited for u to come but I di…’, and was cut in by Lucy ”am sorry dear! it hasn’t been long I returned back from work, I has to clear up some files, before I could round up it was already late, am so sorry ok? Lucy appollogise and pecked good luck on the cheek
”come on pull off ur uniform and come out let me bath u”,Lucy said and good luck nodded and smile ”aunty I love u so much even more than my so called mother,..I wish u are my mother”, good luck said and hugged her
”my boy pls don’t say like that to ur mother,..she is still ur mother and she loves u so much,just that she is going through a lot”, Lucy said almost in tears ”i wish she is not my mother! I hate her”, good luck said, as Lucy just stood speechless.

”aunty that’s not true,my mum hates me so much,she doesn’t even care about me! four days ago she insulted me and called me a son of an armbed robbers! aunty is it true that my dad is an armbed robber? aunty pls talk to me”,goodluck asked with a teary eyes while Lucy sighed heavily and finally say
”oh come on my boy pls don’t cry ok! come and sit on Aunty’s lap”, Lucy said and good luck went and sat on her lap ” goodluck dear! wat am about to tell u now will shock u but u just have to know the truth”, Lucy said ”aunty pls just tell me”, good luck sadly said
”the truth of the matter is yes ur father is an armbed robber but I want u to promise me one thing which is for u not to take ur daddy’s step”,Lucy said and sighed ”what?? my dad is an armbed robber? so my mom was saying the truth all these while? oh God why me? aunty is that the reason why my mum hate me? goodluck cried ”goodluck pls I beg u, stop crying ok”, Lucy consoled cleaning his eyes
”aunty is that the reason why my mum hates me? he repeated ”the main reason why ur mum hates u is not wat I can tell u until u come of age! but I just want u to promise me one thing which is,u will not take after ur daddy! and I want u to prove ur mum wrong that u will be the opposite side of ur daddy? Lucy said ”aunty! that my dad is an armbed robber doesn’t mean I will be an armbed robber! aunty I promise to make u proud, I promise to be different! I shall never be useless in life but useless! aunty I love u so much! thank u for being there for me”, good luck said and hugged her again with tears dropping down his eyes
”come on my boy that’s enough! stop crying”,Lucy said consoling him ”i will be going out later In the day to get some few clothes for u at the market! I will also get u ball,u know u have been disturbing me to get ball for u? don’t worry I will get it for u today ok? Lucy said smiling ”no aunt! I don’t need the ball anymore, rather, I prefer a toy gun”, good luck said smiling ”ok if u say so! I will get it for u! come and take ur bath”, Lucy said and stood up from the chair ”ok aunty let me pull off my uniform”, good luck replied smiling ”ok be quick about it, am outside waiting for u”, Lucy said and walked outside.

Two days later, good luck was seen playing with the toy gun when Kate walked in and almost dropped dead on seeing good luck with a toy gun
”oh my God! this stupid boy want to be practicing how to hold gun? eehhhhn!! so u truly want to become an armbed robber like ur stupid father when u grow up abi? aaaaah!! I said it, I told Lucy that this criminal child will become an armbed robber when he grew up but Lucy paid deaf ears to me,now look at him with a gun!! give me that gun now u good for nothing criminal!! son of a useless criminal! give me now! Kate shouted,collect the gun from his hand and broke it on the floor
”mummy is aunty Lucy that bought it for me to play with,.. am not practicing how to hold a gun,am only playing with it”, good luck cried ”shut up that ur useless mouth u good for nothing son of a criminal! and don’t u ever call me ur mother again! get out of my present now! get out! I hate u so much! I despise u! get out”, Lucy shouted, dragged him outside and pushed him on the ground.
