Chapter Twenty Two:
Zoe
” morning ” I said withdrawing my hands from Jack’s, judging from Ares gaze he is jealous ” jack you must know Ares my boyfriend ”
” I thought you guys broke up ” jack mumble, Ares step back, shove his hands in his pocket, he isn’t smiling, his cold gaze burn into jack making him walk out of the house quietly
” what just happened ” I asked and Ares just shrugged taking a seat and lazily placing his head on his hands ” just a little spell to make him go home…..I don’t like him ”
” I can see that already ” Ares sit quietly, said nothing, his eyes closed like he is waiting for something ” so are we going home today, I already pack my things ” I break the silence and he nod
” of course” he stand to his feet ” I will wait for you outside little mouse ” I watch him step out, Zar and Xar run down the stairs after him and am left wondering what his mood change meant
can I ever understand that bastard??
Lifting my bag, I k-ss martin and Marston forehead, bid my parent farewell before leaving into Ares car ” this will be a long ride right ” I muttered and Ares stare at me then nod
” little mouse ” he muttered, looks like something have been bothering him for awhile
” yes!!” I answered eagerly, his eyes move to Zar and Xar who are also sitting in the car, he breath out then shook his head
” forget it ”
” No!!” I yell shaking my head ” you are gonna tell me, I want to hear it ” his face fill with surprise as I yell at him, has no body yell at him before. He should get use to it
” little mouse ” he dip his hands in his pocket, pull out a sellotape and close my mouth, I watch him pay full attention to shutting me up ” you make too much noise ”
Frowning I fold my hands and sit quietly, Zar and Xar laughter fill the wh0le car” you guys are adorable!! ” they chuckle but when Ares glare at them they zip their mouth with their mouth and throw the key away
…….
” stop crying little mouse ” Ares k-ss my l-ips but I increased the volume, I cried more ” little mouse!! ”
” its painful….my tiny hair around here is gone!!!” Hitting the couch I buried my face into the pillow ” that damn sellotape ” Ares exhale, pull the pillow out of my grasp and cup my face
” if you weren’t yelling I won’t have done that ” he rob my l-ips ” you still look perfect anyway and maybe that’s your punishment for letting that guy touch you ” frowning I bite his hands off my face, I fold my hands then avert my gaze ” alright, am so…sorry” he purred ” what will I do for you to forgive me ??”
Looking at him I place my hands on my chin and think for awhile ” put me on your lap, cuddle and pamper me ” blinking my eyes I flash him my perfect smile
” fine ” before his hands grab my wa-ist I jump to my feet,lay on the floor, making sure am like a weak person in order to feel heavier
Ares
I stare at a dead Zoe ” come on, put me on your lap”she mumble, this little mouse keep surprising me with her childish behavior, do she think if she stay that way it will be difficult for me to lift her up ” Ares!!”
” yes ma ” standing up I bend down and within a mere second she is up and on my lap, I made sure I hug her then pat her back ” like this ??”
She run her hands through my hair then lick my neck, slowly, she exhale, her breath making my body hot all over ” I did miss you ” she muttered tightening the hug ” I love you so much ” she clasp her hands together, afraid I might push her away
I do know January is close but before her true power manifest I have decided to enjoy my time with her ” I love you too Darling ” robbing her back I smile
.” can we stay this way for awhile ” she whisper then I nod, silence fill the living room and the only noise you will hear is that of our breathing. Zoe seem to have fallen asleep
I watch Xar step out of the elevator, I quickly place my fingers on my l-ips telling him to shh, he tip toed to the kitchen, grab some drinks ” when are you leaving my house ??” I whisper making sure Zoe is still sleeping
” Next year….your house is fill with food “he whisper back before walking to the elevator, frowning I exhale, slowly rise to my feet, disappear and appear in Zoe’s room
Approaching her room, I drop her down carefully on the bed, stare at her beautiful face, tuck a hair behind her ear,cover her with the blanket and k-ss her forehead, my gaze move to the clock and its just four in the noon
Closing her door gently, I walk downstairs, I can’t believe me of all people is waiting for that little mouse to mature a little before making love to her. Am defiantly not the type to wait but with this little mouse anything is possible
I watch Charles fasten his steps towards me and whisper to my ear, clenching my fists together I frown. Nodding to him I proceeded in sitting on the couch, the door burst open and lunox step in,side my house
The sound of her heels echoing in the room, her blue hair lose down, her short black dress, her l-ips painted red. She smile ” isn’t it Mr hell ”
” why are you here lunox” I muttered standing to my feet, my hands shove into my pocket, those mischievous l-ips of hers curve into a grin, she step closer placing her hands on my chest
” what’s so wrong in visiting my future husband ”

Ares
” what’s so wrong with visiting my future husband ” she purred ” besides I always come with good news ” grabbing her wrist I push her back
” cut the crab lunox….I don’t have all day for this or you” she smile then proceeded in sitting down, cross her legs and light her cigarette
” like I said I came to visit my love ” she wink then blow the smoke out of her mouth while I sit opposite her”but Evelyn have something to say to you ”
” concerning what??” If Evelyn have something then its bad news for me but good news for her ” you haven’t been killing the descendants for awhile and its affecting the knights”
” I need some break too ”
” your little break happen to be affecting us Hell, if you haven’t notice the descendants have been wiping out lots of vampires recently and our check point need a break ??” Lunox half yell, I place a finger on my l-ips to shh her up
” no body yells at me lunox and if that happens again, you will regret living ” I could see the fear in her eyes as she nervously put the cigarette back in her mouth ” what’s Evelyn horrible news”
” she found the perfect injection to bring the dark myth back to life” her l-ips curve back into a smile ” after this those descendants will all be dead and am proud to say our wedding will be commencing soon ”
Relaxing on the couch I stare at lunox ” what made you think I will marry you lunox” she open her mouth to speak but I wave my hands stopping her ” tell your father its cancel, apparently you’re no use to me ”
” are you joking ” lunox muttered ” Evelyn set this up…this will help the knights ”
” in what way is marrying you gonna help” standing up I frown at her ” you tell Evelyn I have better things to do…she should keep her medication to herself ”
Watching lunox walk away, she stopped then turn around ” you do know the side pain is gonna begin soon hell….suppressing him won’t work forever” with that she is out of the house
Sitting down I cover my face with my hands, I won’t be able to live this way forever, am gradually losing my shit over this
Another experiment
What if this doesn’t work and I have to suffer over three months again, moving my hands to my hair I gro-n inwardly. F-ck!!
And if they find out about Zoe everything will be ruin, they will defiantly try killing her and I haven’t even try knowing what that star tattoo means
” Ares….are you okay ” Zoe voice echo in the room, I turn around and watch her stepping downstairs, robbing her hands over her eyes ” I think you’re sad ”
” am not ” she stand at my front, her gaze burning into mine ” yes you are” touching my eyes she title her head to her left ” I know what will make you feel better”
” really ”
Nodding I watch her sit on my lap, cup my face and k-ss my forehead, no matter how many times she do this I always feel at ease ” better ??” I nod and watch her face beam up before k-ssing my cheek
” little mouse ” gaining her attention I continued ” let’s go on a trip, just the two of us and the day before your birthday.. We will be back ”
” just the both of us??” Nodding I watch her face light up ” I will like that, are we gonna build our own little house ”
” No ” shaking my head I felt my back hurt a little ” little mouse get off me for a second ”
” your eyes are green… ”
” get off me little mouse ” the moment she stand up I dip my hands into my pockets, no injection. Shit, I messed up ” f-ck!!” Falling to the ground I hold my chest
I could feel my heart beat increasing more than usual like its about to burst ” Arse!! What’s wrong??” Gripping my shirts off i gro-n ” Zar, Xar…someone help ” from Zoe voice she seem to be crying but Zar and Xar went out of the house after putting her to bed
Squeezing my hands my back break more and I scre-m, I just have to feel this pain for a few hours
Zoe
I don’t know what to do, I kept yelling but no one seem to answer, last time Ares inject himself with something, the skull at his back seem to come alive
I step back, the teeth open, showing depths of darkness and nothing more, Ares wh0le body kept trembling and he is scre-ming
Not wasting time I run upstairs to his room, open the door and quickly move to his injections section, packing lots of them, I turn around but before I could run out, the door close on its own
Within minutes, noise fill the wh0le room, moving back, I look around the room, everywhere is dark. The moment I stare up it felt like my heart just got squeezed from my body
Stumbling I fell down shivering, the skulls eyes are open wide and his mouth also opened ” what’s happening ”
” intruder ” the skull spoke and before she knew what happening she felt her self falling, falling into a deep pit
