Fear engulfed her being, What is that? She alarmed. She ended the call and tiptoed to hide behind a door. She put her two hands on her head, making a confession prayers silently. Blood of Jesus! blood of Jesus!! save me. I will serve you if you can save me, I promise, I will become a new person… Fortunately, the unknown sound came near and nearer until it became visible. Gosh! So it is rat! She made a long hiss, God punish you this rat. I almost killed myself. She came out from her hidden and went out.

Even till now, Chioma has never heard anything about the case, Shadow was in his car very close to the bank, he told Rebecca he would not go with her to avoid suspicion. She came out shortly and walked by shadow’s car. She dropped a file through his car widow and went away without anyone noticed the connection between them. Shadow took the file to Chioma. What took you that long. You neglected my calls. I thought your people told you to stay away from me… Pls dear, something else I never dreamt came up. It involves your friend, Beauty. Would you let me in, he said. Come in! They entered and sat in her sitting room.
Chioma:
So, what dream…?
Shadow:
Your concerned was the secret behind Rebecca’s success, right?
Chioma:
Yes… Have you found out anything?
 Shadow:
Not really. But something far beyond that. See this file…
He tabled it and brought out the doc-ments in,side. There were two papers, one contained the bank detail while the second is the number Gbosky used to call Rebecca. He dialed the number but it was switched off.
Chioma: I don’t understand this drama. Is something going on that you never told me
 Shadow:
I don’t know how to say it… You said your friend cannot kill a rat that you trusted her.
Chioma:
I never said “trusted”, even till this day I still trust and really love her. See, we might be wayward But that does not make us animal: killed another person. I had a dream that is why my focus was so much on Rebecca. Last night also, I had another dream. I was on a tree while my friend was beneath, crying unto me for help. And, I woke up, it was strange. How could I help, this I don’t know.
Shadow:
I think your friend might probably be innocent. Let’s wait and see. (He brought out a pen and copy the address in the doc-ment) I need to look for this address.
Chioma:
Your entered talking nicely about my friend. Are in love with my friend this time? And by the way,
Who is this person in this address?
Shadow:
It is….
I have a plea, pls, will you just let’s us be…. be… (He cleared his throat) can we be… Like be a…
Chioma:
a what?
(His phone rang) it was Rebecca, she called to verify the doc-ment. yes, I have seen everything just that his number switched off. pls keep this secret and don’t act unnecessarily.
Chioma:
(Frowned)
I don’t understand, is something really going on. Well, sorry for disturbing you. Who am I to ask you. I gave you work to do and you never gave me feedback.
Shadow:
We are walking on your case, in fact that reminds me. (He picked up his phone on the table) Hello officer, pls join me in Chioma’s house.
Chioma:

They heard a knock at the door, shadow went to see the person. It must be the officer. He opened the door, I said it. Pls come in. They joined Chioma, officer, I have collected the details. But fortunately, his number is not reachable. So, we will be going to the address that’s why I called you.
Shadow:

Officer:

Shadow:

Chioma:
(Laughed)
Officer, I am not yet your oga’s (boss) madam.
Officer:
Oga make we go. They are waiting for us for car outside.
Alright, shadow said. The police gave him a sign to hug her
