The beast roared at us sending it tentacles towards our direction, we slashed each of it tentacles that attacked us as we landed in the water face to face with beast. It roared again regenerating it arms back and sending it to us.
“Guys look out” I shouted as i dived to the left avoiding it tentacles, Ranob did a side flip with his spear.
“Surround this beast” I shouted charging toward the beast.
Kane and Melvin did a front dive slashing the tentacles while they moved to the beast back. Dominion threw his axe which went in 360° cutting off the tentacles but they kept growing back.
“Attack at once” I shouted.
Ranob threw his spear to the beast, while Melvin jumped on top Kane who threw him far above the beast head while i levitated. We both gave the beast unending strikes with the flame thrower from the tip of our swords but the beast generated water from it body forming a wall against the flames.
Melvin landed back into the water with his fist power he sent a gush of great wind carrying the water with as it hit the beast, but the beast responded with a tentacle knock out grabbing Melvin and sending him to the walls of the waterfall. Ranob did a straight front flip slashing the first tentacle sent to him, before forming a quick mixture of sharp earthly stones by spinning his spear so fast attracting all rocks and sending it to the beast but it crushed the stones giving a deadly strike to Ranob who dodged it, i immediately sent spikes of ice to the beast but it swallowed the ice spitting them out, longer and sharper.
“Get out of the water guys, time to go ice cold” I said.
Kane and Dominion moved out of the water while still slashing the tentacles..
“Ranob get ready” I shouted running toward him.
“”Get ready for what” He replied.
“For a double lift” I said..
I burnt down a tentacle with my hands, before doing a front flip and landing on Ranob hands with my hands, who then threw me upward while i levitated grabbing Ranob and throwing him upward to.
“Time to go cold” I said my eyes glowed white, my body became white and my hair grew longer upwards and white also.
The beast sent it tentacles attacking meme but i froze each and everyone of it before landing on the water with my a knee and a land, turning the liquid to hærd solid.
The beast had the incapability to move it tentacles anymore for they were frozen.
“Attack” i shouted and in seconds Melvin and the rest landed their finishing strikes on the beast.
“Feel the atmosphere of green flame” Melvin shouted forming a daring fire wind in the colour of green hitting the beast burning it tentacles and several body parts despite the water wall.
“Mahendra zaro” Ranob shouted jumping upwards and sending an invisible strike which divided the water and some floor into two while hitting the monster also.
“Double ram slash” Dominion shouted hitting the beast so hærd that it body parts were sent into several parts.
Kane did a quick twirl in the air cutting through the heart of the beast while i did the final death ritual freezing up the body and melting them with flame.
“Now thats how it is done” i shouted coming back into normal.
“Lets get outta here, we got more bath than expected” Kane said moving outta of the water.
“That was terrific” Melvin shouted moving out of the water with others .
We got dressed up and began moving ahead.
“You see things are really dangerous out here, we need to be more careful” Melvin said
“Yeah, we know that” Dominion said fixing his weapon back into place
“Just can’t believe the dark city is so far” i said while we all quickened our pace.
“Wait a minute guys” Ranob said whispering
“What is it?” We asked
“I can smell something” He said
“What?” We asked again not being able to contain our expectation.
” Newly baked bread from far over there” Ranob said pointing
“Oh my when last did i eat that kinda delicacy” Kane said increasing his steps while we followed him.
After a 5 mins jogging we reached a house which was not that big and also pretty too.
“Hello boys” A man shouted from a horse stable
“Excuse me sir hummm, we ain’t boys but men” Melvin said
“Oh i see” He replied as he approached us.
Now it was a man who was chubby and had a full grown beard, quite handsome too and average height.
“Good afternoon sire ” I said with a broad smile
“Hey, where you men from” He asked
“Well we are from” Ranob was about saying.
“From the traders community” Dominion quickly said
“Yes, we are headed to the Dark city” I said
“That name gives me the creeps” He said walking away
“What happened sire” Kane asked
“The city is dangerous and has high security and i was also once a guard over there, till i was disposed from the guard rank and thrown out to the streets.” He said
“We heard only traders are allowed to the city” Melvin said
“Well that isn’t true, i just know the king is having some big guns going up” He said
“Don’t you mean dark king” I asked
“Well the dark king was 500 years ago and lives in each generation king heart, every red moon the dark king takes charge of the king body to be used for 2 years.” He said mobing away while we followed.
“What about the Red dragon” Kane asked
“The red dragon is still alive and stays in the city in a cave waiting for the red moon to come up, the king is planning to crush the rebel villages and also destroy sagoe, a city protected by the mountains, that is the only city still standing” He said
“Nice” I said
“Come on in for some newly baked bread and cheese” He said “and i am Kingston” He said again before moving into his house.
“Do you know where the dark city is?” Dominion asked
“Over there after that hill you will see death” He said sitting on a chair
“So what big guns do you think your king is planning” Melvin asked
“Next tomorrow his body shall be taken over by the dark king first thing he would do is destroy the villages and sagoe.” Kingston said.
“That sounds bad” Kane said
“He must be stopped” I said
“Impossible, you will have to pass through the palace to get to a silly looking mountain that has a gem, that is the only way” Kingston said
“Do you know every thing about the palace security and city security” Ranob asked
“Yes i do” Kingston said touching his beard
“Well you must know this we aren’t traders and we are from sagoe” I said
“What the hell?” Kingston shouted.

“So you guys are all the way from sagoe, just here to protect your kingdom” Kingston said
“Yes,” I said
“We need to know more about the city” I said like i was in haste.
“I know much about the city but some changes might have been included which i know nothing about” Kingston said.
“Josh, the best thing for us to do is infiltrate the city and check out the security lockdown.” Melvin said.
“Well if you want to infiltrate i can help you all on that” Kingston said.
“When is the Red blood moon coming up?” Kane asked
“That would be next tomorrow” Kingston replied
“Oh!! we need to hurry” Dominion shouted.
“Ok, here is the plan” I said as we gathered around
“We move into the city, Kingston will help us get through next thing we do is split up and get as much info as possible” I said
“Don’t try to cause a scene also, if someone attacks you apologize and you will be left immediately” Kingston said
“Also we need to get updated info when the Red moon comes up” Ranob said
“How strong are the soldiers?” I asked
“Well we have the normal soldiers and we have the Dark dynasty this once have spec ial powers and no one as seen them but they exist” Kingston said
“Can we trust you Kingston” Melvin asked
“I was thrown to the streets and people are been treated badly there and you think i won’t wanna partake in anything that has to do with taking down the evil” Kingston said
“Well lead the way to the city” Ranob said
“Follow me guys and don’t show your weapons” Kingston said taking 5 jars of sweet wine
We followed kingston and moved in foot till we finally arrived at the dark city gates.
Location: Dark city🏯
“Hello, mighty soldiers of valor” Kingston said
“What business do you have with the city” The gate head soldier asked as he walked up to us, making sounds of armor clattering.
“We’ve come to do trade of wine” Kingston said.
I observed the dressing of the soldiers the armor looked pretty tough and i doubt if a normal sword could pierce through it.
“Show me the wine” The gate head leader said
“Here have some” Kingston said as he brought a little cup of wine giving it to the gate head.
Boys this wine tastes conc and sweet” He said as his eyes w¡dened
“You will only pass if you give us a jar of wine” The gate head said
“That shouldn’t be a problem” Kingston said handing over his jar of wine while we proceeded to into the city.
Q”Welcome to the dark city” Kingston said waving his hands like he had just performed a show.
“Dark and this city looks all gold” Melvin said
“Thats how it is, the poison looks sweet but tastes bitter” Kingston said
“Those are deep words” Kane said
“Next step guys gather info and split up” I said .
“Kane and dominion go west” Melvin said
“Melvin and Ranob go east” I said
“We all meet at this same point where the dragon statue is” Ranob said.
“”Remember don’t show your weapons” Kingston said while we moved several directions with me and Kingston moving North.
* Melvin and Ranob Location: East Dark city.
Melvin and Ranob moved flowing the straight path they had taken, people moved about doing their normal daily activities.
“How do we get much info when we know no one” Melvin asked scratching his head.
“Yeah and no one looks like they have time for useless question” Ranob said.
“Well let just ask.” Melvin said.
“You know what they say, that people who are drunk become very vulnerable to saying the truth.” Ranob said
“Then let ask a guard for help” Melvin Said.
“Easy, i pray so” Ranob said
Dominion and and Kane Location: West Dark city
“Lots of jubilation over here” Kane said
“I wonder how come people say this city is bad but people are laughing children are playing” Dominion said.
“Hey guys you wanna do some trade” A funny looking man said.
“We will trade this wine with you only for information about this city” Kane said
“Let me taste the wine first” The man said
“Just a cup only” Dominion said
The man was give a cup and his mind went insane on tasting the wine…
“I will give you all info you want from origin for the two jar of wine” He said
“Agreed” they both replied.
Kingston and i moved North looking for a way to gather info from anywhere, anyhow.
“Everywhere looks busy to me” kingston said to me
“Well we gotta try” I said with a smile.
We came across some group of soldiers on horse back, patrolling the city and their looks weren’t funny or smiling.
In the King palace.
“A strange force has infiltrated this kingdom, i can feel it in me” The king said as he walked in his garden .
“Get all soldiers prepared and scout the city for any new face” The king ordered.
The sky rumbled and a loud clap of thunder was released as the rain droplets came from the sky. The city trumpets were blown summoning all soldiers from every corner of the city to the palace.
“What’s going on Kingston?” I asked watching his eyes move from one place to another.
“The trumpet blown was to summon all soldiers to the palace” Kingston said
“And so” I asked
“Oh no he knows we are here” Kingston said
“Who”I asked feeling a shake in my voice.
“The king, we got to get out of the city now” Kingston shouted as the rain rained heavily.
“Close the gates” The soldiers shouted
“Get them” Another group s¢ræmed charging.
I and Kingston ran towards the meeting point for us to meet, surprisingly the rest were panting when we saw them.
“What happened?” I asked in great anticipation..
“We are being chased by mean looking soldiers” Ranob said
“Kingston you must lead the way out of here” Melvin shouted as the rain fell heavily.
“Sorry boys i don’t know the way out” Kelvin said laughing.
“This is getting creepy” I said moving backwards
“I lied am not Kingston call me captain Daze” He said removing the face mask and c hubby skin to reveal a muscular man. Immediately he brought out a trumpet and blew so loud.
“Follow me” I shouted bursting with great speed
“Son of a warthog wasn’t real” Kane shouted.
“Get them” The soldiers kept shouting as they drew closer.
“Now we are doomed” Melvin said
“The gates are closed there is no way out” I said gasping for breath.
“What do we do?” Dominion asked still running.
