“I dont under–“she shot me and someone hastily pushed me away.
I almost fell but she held me till I balanced well. what.. what.. a human being can’t have such speed. I opened my eye hastily and saw Maya..
“are you ok?”she said as she raised both hands to my face.. I moved back in fear
“kyle”she said.
k.k dragged her hair and she turned.
“Maya????? how did__ Maya kicked her she fell down then Maya pushed me away.
“Kyle go”she said.
“but what about –”
“run”she said and pushed me as k.k dragged her again.
“but how– she pushed me again
” go”she shouted so I ran out then ran into Chloe. “Sir are you ok? who is in there?” she asked.
I placed both hands across my face.
i ran away.
i am frustrated, devaststed and confused. Maya is not human. she is immortal. Amaya is not like me. i watched Chloe rush into the house. I ran off to nowhere. Maya is immortal. now it all makes sense. she said she came from the ocean.
I am dead.
I am in…I fell In love with someone I don’t know. she called me a ghost but now she is the ghost. I fell in love with her but she is not real.

Chloe’s pov.
I rushed Into the compound and a girl was fighting k.k. I hastily rushed over and faced k.k’s men. I couldn’t see her face because she was moving hastily. she gave k.k a sweet beating. and I thought k.k’s men a lesson. k.k slit a knife across her arm. that was when I saw her face. “Maya” I shouted and my tears fell. I was so blessed. I looked at her and k.k’s men started hitting me. she hastily kicked k.k then broke her neck in a haste. I got more courage and finished off k.k’s men. k.k tried running away but Maya held her. she pushed Maya and ran off in super speed. Maya tried chasing her but i held Maya’s hand. “Let her go…it might be a trap” I said.
she nodded then used her hand to cover her blood. “ok. who are you?’ she asked and my eye w¡dened.
“Maya its me..am your best friend” I said and hugged her but she moved away
. “I need to find Kyle”she said and ran away. “Maya wa–” my tears fell as I sat on the floor. they where tears of joy. I called the CIA to clear this mess.. I will call min hoo, Maya is alive.
maya’s pov.
my worst fear came to pass. it seems Kyle found out that i am not human. am so scared. I don’t want him to be scared of me. I am not harmful. what will I do now. I wrapped my fingers around my bleeding hand as I ran round the area in super speed.
“kyle”I shouted but no reply.
i Dont want him to find me out. am scared of him finding me out. I went back home and waited for him.
I sat in the couch and waited for Kyle all night but he didn’t return. finally it was 3 in the night but he didn’t return. I slept off and finally I opened my eye in the morning and i was on his bed. my eye w¡dened in shock.
I looked around and he walked out holding a treatment kit.
I looked at my hand and it was band aided “Kyle..I will —
” what kind of rough play where you playing with the kids Maya. look you got hurt”he said as he untied the soiled band aid and changed it.
I smiled. he doesn’t know that i am not human..wait, he forgot that I came here last night. am so blessed. I looked at him and he straightened his smiling face

. “well..candy was playing with some sharp objects ” I said he nodded.
” candy is so naughty”he said
I smiled and gave him my hand. he opened the band aid and applied some stuffs. this should be painful but I don’t feel pain. I better act like am in pain so he won’t suspect me
“ouch ouch ouch so painful”I said “sorry..sorry”he said and blew air on my wound. I smiled happily and finally he wrapped a new band aid then lifted me up from the bed. I held him by his shoulders. he carried me well then took me into the shower. “bath OK”he said I nodded. he walked out and i lay in the water. he walked back in and sat on a chair behind me. “Kyle ” I said
“yes”he said as he moved my hair into the water. I turned myself to face him. I held the Jacuzzi with both hands. he looked at my neck down my shoulders.
“if maybe am not human…will you still be my friend? ” I asked he smiled.
“till then”he said I smiled and he k-ssed my fore head
. “that wasn’t a good response” i said he smiled “even if you where a snake..I won’t run away” he said I smiled then lay well in the water. finally I got tired
“am done”I said to him.
he took the towel and dried my hair.
he handed me the jacket and I covered my body after which he carried me up. we got to the bed I tried taking the plane from my table this made Kyle trip and we both fell on on the bed. he was on me. my eye w¡dened as I moved into the pillow well. he is heavy ouch. I hastily turned him over. I tried standing but he held my wa-ist. my eye w¡dened more. he smiled as he held my wa-ist tight. my eye ran into his pink l-ips.. my finger was trapped in his hair. I hastily removed my hand from his hair.
“Let me go” I said.
he relaxed on his pillow..I removed my hair from his face.
“Kyle”I said
“close your eyes first”he said.
what if he k-sses me..ahhh no
” no let me go”I said as tried struggling he held me firmer.
“close your eyes first” he said I closed my eye tight. I felt him deep two earrings into my ear. I smiled.
.”shud I open” I asked
“Ahhh no wait”he said I nodded
. I felt him wrap A necklace down my neck I smiled.
“should I open?” i asked.
” no not yet” he said. I smiled and felt him deep something into my hair..I know that smell.. rose flower. I smiled. everywhere suddenly felt silent. I opened me eye and he almost k-ssed me..
I used both hands to cover my l-ips he smiled
“it’s not what you think..I just wanted to whisper something” he said. I nodded and hastily removed my hand..
why will he even want to k-ss me…am just his friend. I tried standing he held me tight.
“Let me go” I cried. he smiled and finally turned me over to the bed.
I hastily hugged my pillow … he sat beside me.
” should i sing you a song”he asked I nodded. “yes ” I said as I turned to look at him.
he ran off to take guitar I sat down after dragging down My jacket. I looked in my mirror and i saw the necklace. it was pretty. this is crazy. why is he is spoiling me with so much gifts lately. I turned and he walked in. he took my hand and made me sit facing him. I smiled as he lifted the guitar. “this song is for you” he said. I nodded in a smile. “ok” I said.
he moved his hair into his ear and lifted the guitar.

he sang I smiled then sat beside him
“it’s a sad song …will you tell me the story?”i said he nodded then we both fell on the bed and looked upward.
” a boy is at loss maya”he said.
“which boy?” i said.
“a boy I know” he said.
“what happened?”i asked.
” well. he is in love with a girl who lost her memory. he is scared” he said
“why”I asked as I looked at him. we both lay facing each other.
“well he is scared because she will forget him when her memory returns. that is normal for amnesia patients” he said.
“what if she doesn’t..he won’t be scared” I said.
” he is still scared”he said
“why?”i asked.
“who knows she might be married or even have a kid. he is scared that she will leave some day” he said
“what if she doesn’t go. what if she has no one?”i asked he smiled

“why ” I shouted.
“cos she is not human”he said my eye w¡dened..

Kai’s POV.
we all walked about the secret place of Kai network. we have not gotten a single news ever since yesterday. finally two men rushed in bleeding. two of our men.
“where is Kyle,tell me he is dead” I shouted.
“Sir we where defeated”he said.
“what, one hundred fighters?”my partners shouted.
“Sir she was so strong…she even beat k.k up. i think we met a gumiho”he said.
I stood up
“where is k.k”I asked.
“we don’t know sir, I advice we stay away from Kyle” another fighter said.
“this is true kai..for now lets focus on the stolen train. we need to make sure those trains get here safely. this is more important. mr lee could have won the elections but if we succeed in stealing these trains Mr Lee and his position will be affected” he said. I nodded
” send more men, secure those trains.” I said they nodded.
I ran off into my evill hood. gumiho???? how.. ahhhhhh I have failed. president Lee will be laughing now. nooooooooooooooooooo where is k.k.
ok ok ok. am still on top of the game.
I will make sure I succeed in stealing those trains.
maya’s pov.
Kyle said he wanted to tell me something. we both walked down but my eye was blind folded.
“Kyle where are we going to..the soil feels like the beach”I said he smiled and held my hand well. soon I felt my leg touching water.
I smiled that was when he untied my eye. I looked around and laughed.
he smiled and we both walked into the beach.
“so what do u want to tell me?”i asked as I pushed him with my shoulders he smiled.
“ouch pain full “he said.
I smiled..
“tell me when you catch me”I said and ran off.
“no Maya wait”he shouted I smiled as i ran further then ran further. I saw him laughing.
min hoo’s pov.
kyke is safe. that is over. we need to focus on the trains now after that my next goal will be closing the Kai network.
this mission is very difficult..
Chloe said she wanted to tell me something..
I wonder what it is.
I need to go home, I don’t even know why I am here at the beach.
I miss her like air, I miss–
