As the family Drove back home,the car was only filled With Jenna’s voice who wouldn’t stop talking. Neither Nicholas nor Kristen was ready to speak up.
Nicholas on the other hand was planning to apologize to her when they get back home,
“Can you stop at the fruit store? I want some apples” Kristen finally spoke up and Nicholas looked at her
“Why are you looking at me? You can’t get them for me? Because we aren’t talking doesn’t mean I won’t ask you for things” She scoffed and Nicholas almost chuckled wondering what was wrong with her
“But nanny,,I thought you hate apples. You prefer strawberries” Jenna said from the back
“You’re right Jenna,but I don’t know why I suddenly want it badly” Kristen replied
“Maybe because you love daddy and I” Jenna smiled
“No ,because I love you” Kristen said
Nicholas stopped in front of the store,,Kristen tried getting down from the car but he stopped her,,
“I will go get it,,stay here” He said
“I have legs,,just give me money,I don’t have any with me. Will pay you back later”Kristen said and Nicholas chuckled
“Are you even serious right now??” He asked
“Fine,if you can’t give me,,,”
“Kristen stop,,”He said and hand over his card to her
She rolled her eyes and got down from the car,,Nicholas followed her with his eyes.
‘What should I do about her?’ He wondered
“Daddy,,have you seen nanny’s mom? She’s so nice”. Jenna spoke up getting his attention
“Really? She was nice to you?” Nicholas asked
“She’s just like nanny,,she always help me take my bath,feeds me and take good care of me. She’s my new granny now” Jenna smiled
Nicholas nodded
“Nanny is coming out,,” Jenna said and Nicholas turned
Kristen entered the car,,
“I got many,,for you and I” Kristen said to Jenna
“Thanks nanny,,I love you”
“What about me?” Nicholas asked
“I never said i was gonna buy yours”Kristen said
“Here is your card,,” she said
“You can keep it” Nicholas replied and started the car

“Wow,,am back. I miss home so much” Jenna said happily the moment they drove into the mansion
They dropped from the car and the guards seems happy to see Kristen,,one of them immediately came to collect the bag of apples in her hand
“No ,thanks”She smiled and they went in
“Mam Kristen!!” The maids shouted
“I’m not mam please” Kristen gro-ned and they smiled
“It’s a good thing having you back,,,Oh Jenna,,,,welcome back. We missed you so much”
“Thanks” Jenna said with a smile
“What about,,young miss??” A maid asked referring to Iris
“She’s good,,thanks. Can you please help me wash these apples??” Kristen said
“Of course” She immediately took it from her
Jenna ran upstairs feeling so excited to be back,even though she loved where she stays for a full week but she really want to be back so badly,and here she is.
She rushed into her room and fell on the bed hugging the teddies on the bed
“I missed you all”she muttered

Kristen took a breathe out in her room,,even though she wasn’t showing it,down in her heart,she felt so happy. Finally Nicholas accepted Jenna,she was so concerned about that a lot.
She was still thinking when the door opened and Nicholas came in,,
“What are you doing here?” She immediately asked
“Kristen,,,,”
“What do you want?”
“I,,,,”he stopped and moved closer to her
“I missed you so much,,and I’m sorry for being a jerk okay? I’m sorry,,I love you” Nicholas said and hugged her tightly
“Okay,,that’s enough. Your grip is too tight on me”Kristen said and Nicholas withdraw from the hug
“Are you still mad at me?”He askrd
“Yes,,I will tell you when am cool”Kristen replied straight
“I am sorry Kristen,come on. What else do you want me to do?? Tell me,,I will do anything. Just forgive me,please. ”
A knock came on the door,
Kristen rolled her eyes and went to take it,,,
“Here,,the apples. I left others in the fridge” The maid said to her
“Can you give Jenna some too?” Kristen asked
“I will,,”
“Thanks” Kristen said and closed the door.
She took one of the apples and bite gently,,she had always hated apples but doesn’t even know why she suddenly crave for it so much like she’s going to die if she doesn’t get it.
“Wow,, “she muttered and took a huge bite from it,,
Nicholas was watching all along quietly as she eat the apples hungrily,
“This is amazing,,”Kristen said taking the third apple.
Nicholas finally had enough,,he stood up and moved closer to her.
She stopped eating and looked up,,for some minutes she already forgot he was still in the room
‘F**k,,,i was eating crazily’ she thought and bite her l-ips like a kid who did something wrong
“Kristen,,,will you please stop giving me this silent treatment? It’s killing me,,,”
Nicholas took her hand and pulled her up,,,
“I promise never to make you mad anymore,,I’m sorry” Nicholas said again
She looked at him and nodded gently
“Really? You’ve forgiven me??” He asked happily
“Do I have a choice”Kristen scoffed
“Oh my God” Nicholas hugged her instantly and lifted her up
“Drop me,,stop Nick,,stop!” She laughed hitting his shoulder playfully
“I love you so much,,I love you”Nicholas said dropping her
“I love you too”She replied
Nicholas smiled and k-ssed her ravenously,,he missed her so much than he could explain.
He was still enjoying the k-ss when Kristen pushed him off forcefully and ran into the restroom
‘What’s wrong?’ He thought and followed her in
He was almost shocked seeing her throwing up,,,she then washed her mouth and took a deep breathe.
“Are you okay?” Nicholas asked worriedly and moved closer to her
Kristen nodded
“I’m fine” she replied
“No you’re not,,you just throw up and you’re telling me you’re okay?”
“I will just take some drugs,,but I am completely okay,you don’t have to worry about me”she smiled and touched his cheek
“So,,it’s not the first time?” Nicholas asked still not satisfied
“No it’s not,,but I will be fine”
“We need to go to the hospital before it get worst” He said
“Nothing is getting worst,stop making me scared. I will be fine,,”Kristen scoffed
“If you say so,,but you don’t look fine to me.” He touched her head
“You’re even running a high temperature,,,”He added
“Let’s go to your room,,,I miss that bed”Kristen said
“Are you okay? Your face is somehow”
“Gosh,,I said I am fine. ”
“Oh,,,okay,,okay,,let’s go” Nicholas said and helped her with the apples
“Give me that,,my hands are fine”
“No they are not,,,just walk” Nicholas replied not taking his eyes off her sick face
She took a step and stopped
“Are you okay?” Nicholas asked almost immediately
“I am fine,,,I was just hit by dizziness.” She said and shook her head
“Are you sure you don’t want to go to the hospital? We can start going now”
“No,,,I’m fine,,,,,” she replied and took another step
But then,,she couldn’t go anymore. The dizziness hit her again and she passed out
“F**k,,Kristen!!” Nicholas throw the apples away and grabbed her before she landed on the floor

Nicholas rushed to the doctor the moment he came out of the ward where Kristen was taken,,
“How is she please,” Nicholas asked worriedly
“Can we talk in my office??” The doctor asked
“Is it that bad? Tell me what is happening to her”Nicholas said
“She’s fine,,just come with me”
Nicholas sighed and followed the doctor into the office,,
After sitting down,the Doctor let out a smile
“It’s a good news sir” he announced
“What?”
“She’s pregnant” the doctor grinned
“Pregnant? You mean she’s really pregnant?” Nicholas asked not believing his ears
“That’s right” The doctor replied
Nicholas smiled,,he felt so happy and worried at the same time.
What if she end up like Sarah?? If anything happens to Kristen,he won’t be able to survive it at all. His love for her is more than he could explain,he can’t even live without her.
“Congratulations Mr Bill” The doctor shook hands with him
“Can I see her now? Is she awake?” Nicholas asked
“She’s not awake,but you can see her if you want” The doctor replied
Nicholas stood up and walked out of the office,
When he got to Kristen,she was still asleep.
Nicholas k-ssed her head and sat down beside her,Kristen opened her eyes after some minutes. She turned to Nicholas whose head was buried in her palms,,
“Nick,,,”She called and he immediately looked up
“Are you okay??” He asked
“What happened? Where are we??” Kristen asked trying to sit up
“Careful”Nicholas hold her
“Oh please,,I am fine. What are we doing here?” She asked
” You don’t remember? You passed out,,and I had to bring you here”Nicholas replied
“Really??”
“Yeah,,”
“So,,what is wrong with me?? I’m sure it’s just a mere fever,,I feel good now. Let’s go home ” she said getting up from the bed
“You’re so stubborn,,you keep on telling me you’re okay” Nicholas said
“Of course I am,”
“You’re pregnant Kristen,,so stop being stubborn” Nicholas broke the news and she stopped
“What did you just say?? I am what?”
“Pregnant,,,,for me” Nicholas said
“So,,are you not happy about it? You don’t look happy” Kristen said
“I am happy,,but worried”He responded
“Worried about what?”
“You,,,I don’t want anything to happen to you. I am really worried”
Kristen understands where he’s going,,
“Nothing is going to happen,,stop getting worried” She said
Nicholas sighed and nodded,,Kristen got down from the bed and Nicholas hold her wa-ist.
“Should I call you my little miss pregnant now?” Nicholas teased
“I’m not little,stop that” She blushed and hide her face in his chest.
“I love you Kristen,,,I love you so much” He said
“I love you too,,,but can we go home now??”
“Yea,,,if you’re fine”
“I am,,”
Nicholas carried her in a bridal style out of the ward
“I can walk perfectly,,drop me” Kristen said
“I know,” Nicholas replied
“People are staring right now,,,”Kristen chuckled and buried her face in his chest
“I pray my baby doesn’t take after you,,,”Nicholas teased as he dropped her in the car
“Huh! Why??” She asked
“I don’t want him to be shy like you” He replied starting the car
“And who said it’s a boy?” Kristen scoffed
“I want a boy”Nicholas smiled
“Why? You don’t like a girl??”
“No,,,girls are cute. But we have Jenna right??”
“Oh yeah,,you’re right. I think Jenna will be a cool sister,,can’t wait to tell her about it” Kristen grinned and Nicholas rub her hair a little.

Megan gro-ned as she waited for taxi but got none,she have been standing for minutes when a car stopped in front of her.
She was curious to see the person,,
“what happened to your car?” Shane asked from the car
“Are you taking me or not”she snapped
Shane smiled at her attitude
“Come in”
Megan opened the door and entered
“I couldn’t get gas for my car last night so I left it somewhere safe,,I will just go take it now”Megan spoke up
“Oh,,where??”
“Just go,,I will direct the way” She replied.
Shane nodded and zoomed off getting directions from Megan,,

“I think I should be rewarded at least”Shane said when they finally got to where her car was parked
“You want money now? ” Megan asked
“Not that”
“Then what,,it’s getting late” Megan said impatiently
“Okay,,,can we just hang out some other time? Please” Shane said in a pleading tone
Megan thought for a minute before nodding
“Okay,,fine” she said
“Thanks,I will tell you about it later. Bye,,”He said
Megan got down from the car and Shane watched her for seconds before driving off.

” Where’s Kristen??” Nicholas asked the maids waiting for her to come down for dinner
“She’s coming with Jenna sir” one them replied
Just then,Kristen and Jenna appeared grinning all over.
“What took you so long?” Nicholas asked
“I was taking care of Jenna,,,”
“The maids can do that,,you don’t have to stress yourself” Nicholas said
“I don’t want the maids”Jenna gro-ned and Nicholas roughed her hair a little
Kristen took a plate,,.
“Let me help you with that” Nicholas immediately collected it
“I am fine” Kristen whispered to him
“I know” he replied
Kristen scoffed with her hand on her jaw watching as he served her and then Jenna,,
“Thanks,,but you’re something else” Kristen said
“You’re welcome” Nicholas smiled and k-ssed her cheek
The maids present looked away
“Nanny,,are you sick?” Jenna suddenly asked and they stopped eating
“Why? Do I look sick?” Kristen asked
“Not really,,but daddy is different right now. He even served you and he asked you not to stress yourself like you’re not fine” Jenna said curiously
Kristen and Nicholas looked at each other’s face,,,
“I am fine,,,,” Kristen finally said
“But we have something to tell you” She added
“What? Are we leaving again?” Jenna asked
“Not that,,we are going nowhere okay?? It’s a good news” Kristen said
“Okay,,” Jenna let out a smile
“Jenna,,will you like to have a baby brother or sister??” Kristen asked and winked at Nicholas
“I want a brother!!!” Jenna shouted
“Wow,,really? Why? I thought girls always want a baby sister” Kristen said
“I don’t want to share my clothes” Jenna said
Nicholas and Kristen bursts into laughter immediately she said that
“Jenna,,that’s funny. You don’t want to share your clothes? But you have to love your sister right? So you have to share”
“No,,,no,,,,I want a baby brother” she said
“Me too,,,a boy” Nicholas winked at Kristen and she scoffed
“Why do I want a girl so badly?” Kristen bite her l-ips
“But nanny,,who is expecting a baby??” Jenna asked
“Us” Kristen blurted
“Us??”
“Yeah,,,nanny is pregnant. Am gonna have a baby” Kristen announced
“Oh my god!!” The maids scre-med without thinking
Nicholas looked up
“You all were eavesdropping our conversations?? You’re fired” Nicholas teased and they immediately fell on their knees
“We are sorry sir,,please,,”
Nicholas let out a smile and Kirsten grinned
“Get up,,,,that was a joke” Kristen said and the maids rushed out of the dinning room
“There’s a baby here?” Jenna touched Kristen’s tummy with her cute smile playing on her l-ips
“Don’t press it too much”Nicholas said and Kristen gro-ned
“Stop it Nick,,nothing is happening.” She laughed
“I’m just,,,,,”
“I am fine,,trust me” she cut him off
Jenna hugged Kristen happily
“It’s going to be a boy right??” She asked
“No,,its a girl. And you’re gonna share everything” Nicholas teased
“I won’t let her do that,,” Jenna snapped and Kristen chuckled
“Don’t mind daddy,,if it’s really a girl,she’s not going to share anything with you. Happy now??”
Jenna nodded
Nicholas smiled and shook his head.
