Ciara didn’t know why but seeing Reagan kissing someone else made her feel hurt.

Having seen enough, she began to walk off trying to fight back the tears that threatened to spill but she stopped when she saw Elvira.

“Are you okay? You look like you’ve just seen a ghost?” Elvira asked her.

“Am okay, I just need to get some rest” Ciara lied.

“You aren’t okay, something is wrong. Come with me and let’s talk about it” Elvira said as she pulled the now sobbing Ciara away.

“Get away!” Reagan said as he push Velvet away from him.

“There’s no need to fret, am not contagious” Velvet said as she caress her lips.

“Why the hell did you kiss me?” Reagan asked.

“Because I missed you, because I still love you and I need you to realise that that girl you intend to marry isn’t for you” Velvet replied.

“And you are?”

“Yes! I admit that I made a mistake by breaking your heart but then…I know now and I want to make amends only if you let me” Velvet said.

“Amends? It’s too late to do that and even if I were to accept you back, the love I felt for you is gone. Completely wiped off ” Reagan told her briskly.

“But you can learn to love me again. You should just give it a try and…”

“That’s enough! I have no idea how you found me here but I want you to get lost” he ordered.

“Reagan you…”

“Get lost Velvet before I lose it and get you thrown out even though that’s what you deserve” Reagan cut her off and slowly she turn to leave.

Pulling out her phone, she sent a text you Elvira.

★ DID SHE SEE IT? ★

★OBVIOUSLY, SHE’S CRYING HER EYES OUT NOW ★ Elvira replied a while later.

★ FINE THEN, MAKE SURE IT WORKS THIS TIME AROUND. I DON’T INTEND TO LOSE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE TO HER★

Setting her phone aside, Elvira took hold of Ciara hand.

“What exactly did you see ?” Elvira asked already knowing what she saw.

“Well, I saw Reagan kissing someone else. Don’t get me wrong, am not crying because am hurt. I am crying because he’s a cheat” Ciara said trying to justify her sudden tears.

“My brother have never been too good at expressing himself and that’s why he still keeps Velvet around him even when he plans to marry you” Elvira let out softly.

“Who’s Velvet?”

“The girl he’s in love with, well he claims not to feel a thing for her but judging by the kiss you witness, you can tell that it’s all a lie”

“If he’s in love with someone why force me to marry him?” Ciara let out in anger.

“That’s due to his greedy streak. He can’t let you go due to whatever he wants to achieve and he doesn’t want to let the love of his life go too”

“So you are saying he wants to have us both?” Ciara asked.

“He does after all the past kings had their queen coupled with much concubines ” Elvira replied.

“I’d rather remain single than to marry a man who plans to make me one of his numerous women in the future. I won’t let him have his way” Ciara declared.

“What do you plan to do sweetie? You…”

“Don’t worry, I won’t mention your name in this and thanks for everything” She said as she gave Elvira hand a squeeze before sauntering off.

“She’s too easy to fool” Elvira muttered as she began plotting her next plan.

King’s Meeting Room

Willow rush into the meeting room knowing that he was late and that Reagan will be annoyed since it’s been a while since he called for him.

He was prepared to receive any remark Reagan might throw his way but instead of It being Regan, he was surprised to see Regina there.

“Why are you here? Your highness” He asked as he gave her a bow.

“First of all, I would like to apologise since I was the one who called you here using my brother name” she said as she stood up, walking towards him.

“You did what?”

“Secondly, I called you here to ask you this… Do you like me?” She asked and he was stunned by her blunt question.

“Since you are too shock to give a reply, I might as well find out this way” she said and gave him a kiss, a kiss which he responded to.

She pulled away, a smile appearing on her face.

“You do like me” She said in conclusion.

“Kissing is different from liking someone” Willow said as a blush appear on his face.

“I know but am still going to take this as a sign that you do and thirdly, I don’t intend to stay away from you” Regina let out bluntly.

“Why?”

“Because am crazy about you , because I like you very much that am willing to risk it all just to be with you” Regina replied.

“This is crazy! You are just nineteen and your only focus should be your studies and…”

“And I promise not to lose my focus on it but I don’t intend to let you go either, I will fight for you Willow, you can count on it. See you later” she said blowing a kiss his way before leaving the room.

Rico got to his room only to see Laura kneeling on the floor while scrubbing at a dirt.

Her short gown had lifted up a bit giving Rico view to her beautiful flesh underneath the gown.

He could feel his shaft behaving weird due to the lovely picture she made in front of him.

But he won’t let his body get carried away and end up doing the unthinkable with someone he detest.

She might have the body a guy could kill for but that doesn’t make her less of a rude witch… He thought.

“Displaying your goodies by pretending to clean my room ?” He asked and that got Laura standing up.

“What’s your deal now kid! You told me to work, you told me to clean your darn room and that’s what am doing, so what the hell did I do wrong now?” Laura yelled at him.

“Didn’t you know that the way you knelt on the floor is distracting? What If some other guy had come in, he wouldn’t be as nice as me. He would have thrown you on the bed and would have rip off your clothes and…”

“Is that your fantasy?” Laura asked cutting him off abruptly.

“What?”

“I get it now. Your insisting that I work in the palace is just to get me by your side right?” She asked.

“That’s the craziest thing I….”

“It is the truth” Laura said as she move towards him. ” You want me but you are too shy to go about it and so you use this tactic to get me close to you” Laura sum it up herself.

“Not every guy is after you” Rico replied hating the fact that her words somehow seemed right to him.

“I know but you are one of those after me right kid?” She asked.

“Am not and stop calling me a kid” he replied in annoyance.

“But you are a kid. A kid who isn’t bold enough to ask me to be his, A kid who goes around in circle just to have me by his side, A kid who….Argh!” Laura let out a scream when he push her on the bed and before she could move, he pinned her down with his body.

“How old are you?” He asked starring down at her and Laura who felt strange by his nearness gave him his reply.

“Am Twenty” she replied.

“Not that older than me and yet you keep calling me a kid. Want me to show you what a real kid can do?” He asked and when she tried to move, he push her back on the bed.

“What? Are you scared?” Rico taunted.

“Get off of me before I make you…” She let out a gasp when she felt his hand underneath her gown touching her thigh.

“Before you what?” He teased lightly and bending his head towards her, he gave her a kiss.

After two hours of search, he finally found Bethany amongst the maid preparing the king’s hunting day festival.

Ignoring the admiring looks sent his way by other maids, he went to Bethany who was carrying a box.

“Had time to think about what I asked?” He said startling poor Bethany.

“You almost made me drop this wine” She said.

“They are just wine!” He answered in return.

“Wines that are too expensive and that I will end up paying for if it break!” She snap.

“Okay, am sorry and let’s not change the subject. Have you thought about it?” He asked.

“I did and I gave you your reply immediately, remember?” She asked.

“That didn’t count. You had no chance to think about it but it’s been hours since then and you must have had enough time to think things through and…”

“And it’s still a no. Am not having lunch with you tomorrow and so I would like for you to leave me alone since I have a lot of things to do” she said before walking off leaving him starring after her.

She got to the wine cellar and putting the box down, she was about to begin her task of arranging the wine when he showed up again.

“Why do you keep on refusing me?” On hearing that, she turned to stare at him.

She would admit that he’s very handsome but she would be a fool to think that a guy as handsome and as rich as he could be interested in a poor dirt maid like her.

“Cause am busy” she answered as she began to arrange the wine.

“Am rich, am handsome, am someone a lot of girls will want to be with but I chose you amongst numerous and yet, you keep refusing. Isn’t that stupidity?” He asked and somehow that made her angry.

“You are rich and handsome but not all girls fancy the rich and handsome. Some wants a guy who can protect and love them and you are not in that category which makes you less of a guy In my eyes” she said fiercely and continued her task.

She was expecting him to say something but when he didn’t, she pick up her box and made to leave when he stood in her path.

“What if I prove to you that I can also be such a guy?” He asked.

“You don’t need to prove it to me since I don’t intend to fall for you” she said and gave him a bow before walking past him to the door.

She tried to open it but it wouldn’t bulge, she pulled onto the door knob severally but it still wouldn’t work.

“What should we do? The door isn’t opening” she said to Rex who was behind her.

“Seems like the heaven is on my side” he said as a grin appeared on his face.

“It wants me to prove to you that I can be the kind of guy you like and that I can also make you fall for me ” Rex stated as he towered over her while she stood against the door.

“Now, how about we start with a kiss?” He asked starring at her lips

Guest Chambers

Ciara was standing at the balcony starring at the sun set when the door burst open followed by an angry Reagan.

“What’s this about you changing your room?” He asked as soon as he saw her standing by the balcony.

“Cause it’s much better” Ciara replied as she turn to stare at him.

“Much better? Your meant to be by my side!” He yelled at her.

“By your side or on your bed?” She let out in anger.

“Where’s all this coming from? We sorted things out this morning right?” He asked as he let out a sigh.

“Don’t you think it’s time we end this?”

“End what?” He asked confused by her statement.

“This sham of a relationship we have?”

“Why are you suddenly bringing this up?”

“Have been thinking and I realise that there are still some things we can’t over look” Ciara said crisply.

“Such as?”

“Love. You don’t love me and I certainly don’t love you. How do you expect a marriage to work without love?” She asked fiercely.

“A marriage can work perfectly without love in it” he replied.

“And what will make it work, s*x? ”

“S*x is the basis of a marriage whether you believe it or not” Reagan replied.

“It might be for you but it’s not for me. I would rather die than to marry you just for s*x ” she said and was about to leave when he pulled her back.

“Since you’ve made your intention clear on s*x. I might as well make mine clear to you” he said and before she could stop him, he lifted her into his arms heading straight to the bed room.

“What are you doing Reagan ?” She asked as she held him tight.

“Trying to make you see that with s*x a lot of things can work” with that said, he dump her on the bed and began to unbutton his shirt….
