🙎🙎 Juliet’s pov 👩‍🦰👩‍🦰

Waking up from my long Time sleep😴😴 I turned my head and saw Adrian sleeping peacefully on the little space left on the bed.

Wow!! So Adrian actually slept beside me, I shifted Abit for him to be able to rest his head well, he rearranged his head properly in the bed.

And this made me surprised, how could he rearranged himself just when I was thinking of helping him with it.

Now his head was so close to my lap, I smiled and prayed in,side of me that he should not wake up anytime soon, I really enjoyed watching him sleep like this.

Remembering how he was so Caring when I told him my head was hurting made me blush Abit, how he hurried to get the towel, water and then the bowl and also how he car–sed my knee. Everything gave me happiness 🥰

Even though It was my knee that was hurting me but then I had lied that it was my head that was aching me.

Adrian was just only trying to be of help, so telling him it’s my knee, he might felt sober. And even though I told him it was my head.

He was so Caring and I even doubted it that he is the same Adrian that doesn’t talk to ladies. Still busy with my thoughts when my stomach grumbled, don’t tell me you are hungry now😞.

I tried to leave the bed without Adrian noticing, I threw my legs to the floor carefully, but just when I was about to stand up from the bed.

Adrian’s eyes darted open, oh God 🙃🙃 he immediately lifted up his head and looked at me.

Juliet do you want anything? Where are you going? What do you want to get? He asked me without stopping Abit for me to speak.

Well I’m hungry, so I wanted to make some cornflakes for myself.. I replied staring at the closed door.

Oh.. but you could have asked for my help, I would have get it for you, and now see how you are stressing your knees… he said pointing at my knees

Errmmm… well you were sleeping so I didn’t want to disturb your sleep, and since it’s something I can just get in the room that’s why I didn’t wake you up…. I explained nervously 🙈

It’s okay but you should have woken me up, see I am to take care of you so if you need anything feel free to ask, do you understand me? He asked

Yes I do thanks adrian… came my reply

You are welcome, how is your head now? Is it still aching? I can inform the nurse if it’s still aching you? He asked

No I’m fine now, I’m just hungry that’s all.. I answered feeling very hungry.

Yes I will find you something to eat but you shouldn’t take cornflakes now, you took it earlier. I think it would be better if you eat something else how about if I get you some food..he explained

Yes I wouldn’t mind, thanks so mu… he cut me off before I could finish talking, he stood up from the bed and said

What type of food do you want? He asked

Jollof rice will be enough, thanks and please get me a bottle of water too… I answered then he left.

I quickly hurried to the restaurant that is close to the hospital, leaving behind all the stares I was receiving from everyone most especially ladies .

I ordered for one takeaway jollof rice with beef and 2 bottles of water, who knows she might need another water after finishing the first one.

So I ordered two instead of one as she requested, the waiter who was supposed to get the food for me was busy drooling over me and I didn’t know when I shouted at her.

ARE YOU GOING TO GET THE FOOD FOR ME OR I SHOULD GO TO SOMEWHERE ELSE.. I said to her angrily

She stopped looking at me and immediately went to get the food, minutes later she came back with my order. I paid then I left the restaurant on my way out I and a lady bumped into each other.

Well she was actually the one who bumped into me because she was so addicted to her phone, I wanted to move angrily away from but then she stopped me.

Hey handsome… she said, is she not supposed to apologised.. hearing her saying this made me more angry and i tried again to walk out on her.

Hello.. Im talking to you, why are you leaving? Can’t you at least return my handshake. Oh she was actually stretching her hand towards me.

You bumped into me, and can’t even say sorry is that how to behave towards people… I answered her almost yelling

Oh so it’s about that, SORRY THEN… She answered rudely

Excuse me, you can have your sorry back it’s not compulsory okay.. it’s not needed anymore, but next time try and learn how to apologise for your mistake before when it will not be needed anymore.. I told her and left without allowing her to say a word.

She really made me angry thank God I was holding the food properly it would have dropped on the floor when she bumped into me, I kept on walking still leaving behind all the glances from ladies.

I got into the hospital and tried going to the ward but then a nurse stopped me, what happened now again.. I thought

Sorry you can’t enter now, they are cleaning her body, and that will take some minutes can you please sit over there… she said pointing at the chairs close by.

Alright then thanks.. I told her and she left, I went to sit on the chair, I brought out my phone since I haven’t been able to access it for awhile now.

Unlocking the screen I found out that I was having 20 missed calls, who could that be. I open my phone call to check and it was 5 missed calls from Mom.

While the remaining 15 missed calls was from shalom.. I hissed annoying at nothing in particular when I saw her name, why was she calling me ?.

I dialed mom’s number she must have called me for something important, she picked up after when I called her for the third time.

Hello son, how are you doing?

I’m fine mom, good evening.

Evening, how is juliet doing now? I hope you are not having any problem with her? How is her body? Has the nurse came to clean her up? Mum asked with out leaving any space for me to answer

Yes mum she is fine and yes her body is stable now, I actually went out to get her food and coming back a nurse stopped me from entering because they are cleaning her up…. I explained and I felt it that mom smiled from the other side of the call.

I’m glad to hear this son, thanks for helping your mother, I would have love to say hi to juliet but now that she isn’t with you.. guessed I will have to do that tommorow, but still tell her that I sent my greetings to her… she explained

Alright mom I’m going to tell her, where are you mom? I asked her because her voice is somehow shaking

My dear I’m driving back home now, and I need to concentrate on driving now, I will call you tomorrow morning. Please take care of juliet and you too should find something and eat.. bye

She answered and hanged up before I could reply her, a nurse came and told me that I could enter now and I couldn’t hide my joy, I actually don’t like the way all those ladies around were staring at me.

I entered the ward and met juliet sitting down on the bed, she placed her two legs on the chair that I sat down on earlier, and she looked alot comfortable with that.

Here this is your food, I stretched out the food to her after helping her in opening it.

Thank you.. she replied and started eating… all this time I was still standing but then juliet told me to sit beside her on the bed.

I tried to talk her out of that but she was so adament so I had no other option that to sit down beside her, she continued eating while I was staring at her.

Suddenly she took her eyes away from the food and looked at me. I quickly withdrew my eyes from her but she has seen me already.

Why are you not eating? She asked

Well.. I was… you know what just eat your food, I will find something to eat tommorow. I told her but she didn’t even act like she heard what I said.

She adjusted the way she was sitting before facing me now. She dropped her food in the middle of us and told me to join her in eating…

What😒 how am I supposed to do that… I told her not to worry but she insisted, she brought her hand closer to my hand and made me held the spoon.

I withdrew my hand from the spoon but then she stopped eating as well, telling me she won’t eat anymore until I join her😩😩 what sort of girl is this? I thought

When I saw it that she wouldn’t eat, I started eating the food, but then there was only one spoon, not knowing what else to do, she brought out the idea of us eating one by one and that was what we did.

We finished eating the food together, i went to trash the empty takeaway outside, getting into the ward I met juliet trying to find some sleep, her body was shaking Abit.

It’s actually raining outside so she must be feeling cold, I covered her up with the hospital blanket very well. Then sat down on the chair

Thanks adrian.. she told me but I didn’t answer 🙃

Goodnight Adrian.. juliet said to me again but this time around I answered her

Sleep well.. I told her and rested my head very well on the chair hoping to find some sleep too😘😘😘
