Chapter 51

FREDRICK

It was eight in the evening when I was plotting the last steps of my plan on paper.

I was marking on a map when Ivy entered my study stomping her feet on the floor.

“Frederick,Take me”She said sternly.

“Where? What are you upto now?” I asked still doing my work.

“Beach! I want to go to Beach.” She said excitedly.

I shake my head at her nonsense and didn’t bother to reply.

” I want to go to the beach B-E-A-C-H !!!”

“Are you listening?” She shouted near my ear startling me.

“What is the problem Ivy? Can’t you see that I am working?”

“You do that all the time. I am asking for something from you for the first time. Please listen”

“Please please!!” She pleaded with a puppy eyes.

“No!!” After looking at her for sometime I said emphasing.

“Arrogant Jerk! I don’t need you. I will go myself” She said angrily.

“Have you ever gone to the market alone? ” I asked amusingly.

“Don’t challenge me!!”

She ran out of the study not before slamming the door behind her.

“Rude Wife” I murmured looking at the door.

I couldn’t ignore the fact for the long time that she was unbelievable and stubborn to hell and I am sure she didn’t just give me an empty threat.

I know her too well.

I finished my work within ten minutes and took my car keys.

My estimation was right.

She went out by herself.

Shaking my head, I ignited the engine.

I am sure that she couldn’t go much far in this short time.

I was the driving car at the side of the road near the pavement when my eyes s₱0tted her walking frame.

Ivy was making faces while complaining about me to herself when I stopped the car in front of her.

Her eyes sparkled when her eyes saw my face.

“Now why are you here?” She asked twitching her nose.

“As long as I remember, this is a public road and not someone’s property.” I said taking my shades off.

“Whatever” She stepped ahead making faces.

“Ivy” I called her and again started my car.

“What?”

“Come sit in the car!! It is not cool at all roaming around in the dark.” I said sternly.

“I have one condition”

“I don’t take conditions”

“Pleaseeee, just Only one”

“Alright” I sighed.

“I want to go the beach. Please take me. I haven’t been anywhere in this last month. I am tired of sitting at home. I want some fresh air.”

At this , I realized that she was right.

How long one can sit at home and that too when you are talking about IVY!

” Okay” I said.

“What Okay?”

“Sit in the car”

“Will you take me?”.I hummed putting my shades on.

“What?” She asked dramatically.

“Get in before I change my mind” I said seriously.

“Okay, sorry sorry.”

And she jumped into the car.

After sometime we were standing on the shore with wave of water flowing over our feet.

Ivy sat down and folded her cloth upwards and then she tried to fold my jeans too when I quickly bent down taking her hands off of my feet.

“What are you doing?”

“Folding your jeans?”

“I can do myself. You don’t have to touch my feet.” I said.

Ivy smiled.

We were looking forward at the beach when I felt something on my palm.

I looked downward and saw Ivy crawling her hand in mine and clasping them together.

She smiled at me and I averted my gaze.

Ivy splashed water on me making me to startle.

“What the hell is this Ivy?” I gro-ned upping water.

Instead of replying she laughed loudly.

“Wait!!”

I filled my palm with water and splashed on her.

“I didn’t threw this much!!”

Whinning she again splashed water on me.

” You want a fight then, so be it” I said straightening my shirt and we both started splashing water at each other.

Our laughter was beaming across the beach.

” Okay,okay fine!! Now stop!!” Ivy said laughing hysterically.

” Why? Lost so early?” I smiled.

“Yeah!!” Her cheeks were hurting from laughing this much.

First time we are both laughing together genuinely.

“At least take a picture of me. Look how good I am looking!!”She pouted twirling around making her frock dance in air.

I stole a moment and looked at her briefly.

Chapter 52

She was indeed looking like a fairy who just came from Disneyland.

Her hair were swaying in the air.

A smile was beaming on her l-ips .

Her eyes were shimmering more than moon and stars alone.

I took my phone out and switched up on the camera.

“1 2 3”

And a flash followed her way.

She made me took her numerous pictures in different posses.

“Thank you” She grinned lovingly.

I hummed and was saving pictures when she again splashed water in my direction making some drops to fall on the mobile.

I glared at her and she started running.

“Ivy come here!!!” I shouted and ran behind her.

After running for sometime she stopped.

She was p-nting while I didn’t feel any thing.

“What the hell was that? You splashed water on my phone. Do you have idea how important my phone is to me?” I yelled without giving her a chance to speak.

“Sorry” she murmured lowly and stood at some distance from me.

I sighed controlling my anger.

I was feeling bad for shouting at her.

“Come here” I said softly pointing in front of me.

“No I won’t. You scold me too much. Don’t cry remembering me when I won’t be there.” She said and and I looked at her in amusement.

“Why would I cry? I would be more happy that I got free away from trouble”

“You will surely cry”

“Where will you go?”

“Any where!”

“You don’t have anywhere to go except to me” I smiled proudly.

“You think you can take advantage of this. If I won’t be able to go anywhere then I will die. Then don’t cry”

“No!” I said raising hand in air.

“Huh” She made face turning her head sideways.

“Okay,sorry” I sighed softly.

“Just sorry after that much scolding” She twitched her nose.

“Okay, I promise I won’t scold you ever again.”

“Lies”

“Ivy..” I pulled her closer by gripping her elbow.

“Alright. Apology accepted.”

“Will you ever leave me?”/She asked innocently looking into my eyes.

“Never, not at all. ”

I was feeling as if her eyes were hypnotising me.

My words were betraying me.

“Am I a trouble”

“Yeah but a beautiful one” I took her hands in mine.

“Will you always keep me close to you? Here?” She placed her hand on my chest where my heart was beating.

“Always.Only you are here” I smiled ensuring her.

“Will you stay as mine?”

“I am only yours” I said car-ssing her cheek with my nose.

“Should I agree”

“Take a trial” I whispered in my trance.

“No. I believe you”

“How much?” I pulled back and looked at her.

“More than myself”

“You have become my life”

“Really?”

” Yes!”

“And you became mine too”

And we were lost in each other’s eyes.

“Yes!! Let’s take a picture together to keep it as a memory”

I nodded and encircled my arm around her wa-ist.

On the 3rd count a flash erupted capturing the beautiful image of enthralling moment.

“Beautiful” A whisper left my mouth looking at the picture.

“Now leave me. Someone might come” she said shyly.

I smiled and left her not before pecking her forehead.

Frederick was typing something on his phone when I saw a small dot of red colour just on his heart.

It was looking as if someone was pointing a light at him.

I looked here and there but couldn’t find anyone.

Just then realization hit me.

This is what I watch in movies.

“FREDRICKKKKKK” I shouted and stood in front of him pushing him aside.

Just then a gun shot was heard and blood started ozing from the left side of my stomach.

“Aah!!” A whimper left my mouth before my body fell down.

“IVYYYYY” I roared painfully sitting beside her limping body on the floor.

I quickly took my gun out and s₱0tted three men at the corner and shot them on their legs.

“Ivy, Open your eyes!!! Nothing will happen you!!!” I said patting her cheeks taking her hand in his.

“Death doesn’t seem painful when…..you have lived your life to the fullest. I got every…thing in my life which I didn’t even…deserve but my God is so gracious. He didnt leave me yearning. Today…when I know I…I..won’t live longer…I. want to tell you this that…yu..YOU..are the…. best thing…that….ever happened to me……”

And her hand slipped down on floor lifeless.

“IVYYYYYY!!!!!!” I scre-med loudly.

First time I realized how helpless a human is.

They say true love never dies… Why is all this happening.

Ivy noooo!

Wake up!
