“………so, that’s all.” Cindy said in smiles as the driver was busy driving them to the hotel they’re gonna spend the night and probably a week.

She noticed Emmanuel was lost, either in thought or anything

She touched him lightly and he jerked up

“What’s up with you? I just finished telling you something, yet you’re here giving me no reply.” Cindy pouted but worriedly.

“I’m sorry darling.. I don’t know how, when or why I got lost in thought. ” Emmanuel answered, his heart beat increased.

“Are you sure you are perfectly okay? I’m here you can share it with me.” Cindy said resting her head on his chest while Emmanuel car-ssed her hand

“No darling. It’s fine. You don’t need to get worried. It was just an harmless thoughts.” Emmanuel answered.

“Okay then. I wanna close my eyes a bit. I’m so much tired.” Cindy said gently closing her eyelid.

“Sure baby. I love you.” Emmanuel said k-ssing her forehead…

“I love you more.” Cindy replied sleepily.

Emmanuel breathed out softly thinking about the crazy thoughts or daydream that he just had.

“What sort of daydream or thought was that? I? I Emmanuel stooped so low to sleep with my PA? Oh…that’s bullshit!’ Emmanuel thought inwardly as the drive to the hotel continues.

“I can never do that. Cindy here is enough for me. I love her and obviously, she loves me too. What else?” He thought not knowing how that crazy thought crossed his mind.

“How can I think of ruining my wedding night all because of some ski-ny lady called Jenny? This marriage is meant to stay. Nothing’s gonna ruin it.” He declared in his mind.

He rested his head on the seat backrest and looked out of the window watching whatever.

“Babe…we’ve gotten to the hotel. You gotta wake up.” Emmanuel said gently as he tapped Cindy.

The driver had given him the car key and had left too.

Cindy gently opened her eyes and looked around sleepily.

“We are there already?” She asked .

“Yes, my love.” He said as he got down and helped Cindy got down from the car too.

“Thanks dear.” Cindy said when she eventually got down from the car.

“It’s alright love.” Emmanuel said and they both walked in,side the hotel hand in hand.

Their luggage’s has been moved in there earlier in the day.

“Gosh! I’m really tired.” Cindy exclaimed as soon as they got in,side the room.

“Same here. But I’m sure you’d be more tired since you danced like tomorrow never exist.” Emmanuel teased.

“Hey! It’s my day, you know? Besides…don’t you like my dances?’ She asked pouting her l-ips like a baby.

“no, I don’t like it.” He said moving closer to her and held her hands.

Cindy’s face fell sadly.

“So…I danced in vain?’ She asked hurt.

“No darling. You didn’t. What I mean is….” He said leaning closer to her ear.

His breath on her ear sent cold shivers down her spine.

“I don’t like your dancing steps but I love it. Like is too inferior.” He completed k-ssing her neck.

Cindy smiled in his arm.

“Thanks baby.” She muttered as Emmanuel continued k-ssing her on the neck.

He moved to her upper chest and k-ssed it, his breath on her body was making her crave for more.

“Oh…’ A mo-n escaped her mouth.

Emmanuel stopped and looked her in the eyes.

“I love you.” He said and smashed his l-ips on hers.

they both k-ssed passionately. Tongue on tongue… l-ips on l-ips. Cindy could felt his hærdness against her body.

Emmanuel’s mind wandered to the thought he had back then in the car then he stopped.

Cindy wondered why.

“Go take your bath baby.” Emmanuel said covering up with a smile.

Cindy nodded still looking closely at him.

He pecked her on the l-ips…

“Or…should we bath together?” Emmanuel asked.

“huh?’ Cindy said.

Emmanuel chuckled.

“I knew you’re scared. But not to worry, I’d wait till you overcome your fears and shyness. I’m now your husband, remember? You cannot hide anything away from me again.’ Emmanuel said winking as he got rid of his suit.

Cindy’s heart increased as she just stared at Emmanuel.

“Oh…he’s really gonna see my uncladness tonight…oh gosh!’ She thought closing and opening her eyes

Emmanuel helped her with the wedding gown…leaving her in just her white undies.

Emmanuel stared at her welcoming b**bs pointing right at him and gulped down nothing into his throat.

Cindy was so shy , she has to kept her gaze to the floor.

Emmanuel trailed his hands from her shoulder down to her chest and buried his face in it.

Cindy shiver at the touch.

Emmanuel placed his hand at her back trying to unhook the br* when Cindy’s voice stopped him.

“Uhm…I..let me bath.” She managed to say.

Emmanuel smiled and stood uprightly.

“Alright love. Go on to the bathroom.” He said and she turned around and walked in to the bathroom .

He chuckled at the bulge that has formed in between his th-gh already .

“Holy molly! Can’t believe I’m getting hærd already…” He thought.

Immediately, the door to the bathroom was shut. Emmanuel inhaled hærd.

“Jenny….” He muttered.

Just then, his phone rang.

He checked the caller after taking the phone and his eye w¡dened.

“Jenny?” He questioned.

He ignored it at first but later picked it.

📞Jenny…what..

He couldn’t complete his statement for he was interrupted.

📲good evening boss. CEO of SamTee Group Of Companies wanna speak to you concerning the deal at a hand.
Should I connect him with you?

Emmanuel’s mind wondered to the crazy thought or daydream or anything he can call it.

📲sir…are you there?

📞oh…yeah. Kindly do so.

📲alright sir.

Two minutes later…Emmanuel was truly speaking with the CEO about the deal at hand and it lasted for almost half an hour.

Cindy met him on the call when she came out of the bathroom. And she just left him to put on something.

📲yeah…so, let’s have a video call. ‘Cause your PA must bring the files to me tomorrow.

📞alright. Give me some minutes.

The call ended with the CEO and Jenny resumed talking.

📲sir…how do we go about it?

📞you could have told him I’m not available for now. Why would someone be telling me to sign some silly files tonight of all other nights.

📲sorry sir. I tried telling him but you know he’s too arrogant to listen. Let’s just pleased him

📞well…I have no choice. Is the files with you?

📞do you have any laptop there with you? I have only my phones here with me.

📲everything needed is here sir.

📞oh…that’s too far from here. I don’t wanna drive at all. Can you just come over to Emperor Hotel and book a room?

He breathed out as the call ended.

“Are you going somewhere?” Cindy asked.

“No babe. I have some files to work on and also a video call with the CEO of…” Cindy interrupted him.

“Tonight? Why not tomorrow or better still Monday?” She asked.

“Babe…I have no choice. This is my company we’re talking about. You know I just started it, so I have no choice than to please those people. If it’s to be the bank where I also worked…it’d have been better cause no one would tell me to sign some deal on Saturday.”

“Even at that. You mean…you’re not sleeping here tonight?”

“Says who?”

“I don’t know. That’s what it seems like. ‘Cause I’m sure you’d be spending hours wherever you’re going to and I’d have slept off by then. I told I’m so tired. Even right now…I’ve been sleeping already.”

“Sorry….it’s in this hotel. Jenny is coming over here. I’d book a room for us to do the meeting. And I’d be here in no time. You can just go on and sleep, okay? I wouldn’t wanna keep you awake either.”

“Alright. Bye. Just be fine and don’t be late either. I’m going to bed.” Cindy said and walked to the bed after getting a k-ss from Emmanuel.

“I love you.” He said.

“More dear.” She mumbled.

Emmanuel chuckled as he entered the bathroom.

Cindy was left with mixed feelings. She was sad he’d not be here with her on bed but with Jenny. She’s glad that nothing would be happening tonight ’cause she haven’t made up her mind yet. She’s not ready…besides, she’s kinda shy. Tonight would be for getting ready.

Her thoughts went to the unborn child in her tummy. And she wondered who could have do such to her.

Soon….she drifted off to sleep.

Emmanuel came out of the shower and wore a light cloth before leaving the room.

“Oh…finally!” Emmanuel exclaimed after the two hours online meeting .

“Congratulations sir. The deal was finally sealed.” Jenny said stretching her hand.

“Yeah. Thanks. I’m gonna treat you for lunch when I resumed work.” Emmanuel said taking the stretched hand for shaking.

Jenny smiled as she refused to let go of his hand… Emmanuel thought of it as nothing ’cause he was too overwhelmed about the sealed deal to notice anything

Jenny moved more closer to him and was about hugging him when he stopped her.

“What are you trying to do?” He asked taking a step backward.

“What does it look like?” she asked in a whisper.

“What do you want?” He asked.

“You.” she answered.

“You must be out of your senses for spitting out such nonsense. Do you realize who you’re talking to? I’m your boss.” He said.

“Yeah. You’re right. But right now…I need you to…” She couldn’t complete her statement as she smashed her l-ips on his…

Emmanuel eyes w¡dened as he struggled to push her away which he succeeded in doing.

They were both breathing heavily staring at each other.

“don’t push me to the extent I’d fire you. I’m warning you. Stay away from me.” He warned sternly.

“I can’t. We are meant to be together other than the pregnant V-rgin you just got married to.’ She said eying him.

“What?” He exclaimed in shock.

“How did she found out?” He thought.

“What Is what? Do you think people doesn’t know? Of course they knew. They were just acting and covering up like nothing happened. Everyone out there knew your wife is pregnant for the unknown. You ain’t the father of the bastard she’s carrying.” she yelled

Emmanuel stood still watching and listening to her.

She continued

“Do you have any idea of what those people were saying at your back today? They said you have been charmed and enchanted. They said Cindy’s the man while you are the woman. Cindy married you not the other way round. Come back to your senses. I’m here for you free of charge. I’m not like some V-rgin that pretend they’re V-rgin and yet get pregnant without knowing the father which only means they don’t sleep with just a man but numerous ones. And she’s trying to pin it on you since you’re naive.” She concluded.

Emmanuel was doing some unknown calculations at what Jenny’s saying. His head was circulating.

“Isn’t it obvious that what Jenny said is the truth? Was I really enchanted?” He thought as he took a look at Jenny before speaking.

“Jenny…be warned. Be conscious of what you’d be saying about my wife.” He said.

“Your wife my foot! I have the s€× video of Cindy here with me. You need to see how she was scre-ming for that man. The man’s even more handsome than you.” Jenny spat.

Emmanuel eyes and ears w¡dened.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean the truth. I’m here. Cindy doesn’t suit you. I’m even thinking of resigning as your PA ’cause what people are saying at your weren’t pleasant to the ears at all. The secret your so called wife is hiding from you is here on my phone. If you want to be the well to do Emmanuel you were before getting married, get rid of Cindy! People are talking even your business partners!” Jenny said taking her seat on the bed.

Emmanuel suddenly felt so weak. It wouldn’t be nice if his business partners call off their partnersh¡p all because of the wife he married. He just established the business for goodness sake…

“what do I do? Was I really thinking straight when I said i’m gonna marry her with the bastard child she’s carrying? Wait….haven’t I been used like this? I married a pregnant V-rgin that’s not carrying my baby? Gosh! Emmanuel..this is one chance!” He thought.

He suddenly grew some hatred for Cindy immediately seeing some senses in what Jenny said.

“Can other real men out there do what you did? By marrying a woman that’s pregnant for another man? The videos are here,everything!_” jenny said again.

‘shut up already!” He snapped at her while she hissed.

He walked angrily to the door and made to open it but it failed to open.

He tried severally but the door has been locked. But by who?
No one knew.

“Is this your handiwork?” He asked still at the door.

Jenny smiled inwardly and hissed outwardly.
