As a man of the house , it is my sacred responsibility to take care and protect my family no matter what. I’m a very capable man in my own right and I would do anything to keep my family safe but in this very situation, there was absolutely nothing that I could do. This very scenario was beyond the ordinary and as a ordinary man, this was out of my league.

As I stood with my daughter Helen in front of the house, we both watched as Rose and Xeira stood defiantly facing each other, their stare was mean and vicious and the sinister vibe I felt from them made my spine tingle with fear but even with that I held on to my courage. My daughter Helen on the other hand was a different case, she didn’t show any sign of concern or worry, she just stared on silently focusing her full attention on what was surely going to be an all out brawl.

Xeira ➡ Well, well, well. If it isn’t the mad witch Rose. Looks like the rumors about you were true. Everyone says that you always make a dramatic entrance and I’ve confirmed it tonight.
.

Rose didn’t respond but her reaction to the statement made my legs tremble. She suddenly started laughing and it was no ordinary laugh. I’ve heard this laugh so many times that I’ve lost count and whenever she laughs out wickedly like this, it’s a clear sign that blood is about to flow.

Xeira ➡ What’s so funny?
.

Rose ➡ Ode èja!… So you had the audacity to come to my house to mess with my family. I haven’t forgotten what you did to my sister and brother-in-law either. Oma ku (you will die)

Xeira ➡ I know of your ferocity and savagery but I’m not here to fight. The dark witch Evlyn wants you to join her ranks.
.

Rose ➡ Tell her that she should go 🖕 herself. I’m an island and I don’t join any alliance.
.

Xeira ➡ If that’s the case, then there’s no choice but to kill you.
.

Rose ➡ (laughs) You kill me? Even in your dreams you can’t do that.
.

Xeira ➡ We’ll see about that, time to put an end to this.

Seeing Rose and Xeira on a collusion course kept me on the edge, all I could wonder at that moment was who would be victorious. I could remember my brother Riley once telling me that Rose was extremely dangerous and fighting her is a suicide mission cause her magic gave her a great advantage over she faced and now that opportunity has presented itself, I get to watch first hand how powerful and dangerous my wife can be.
As I glued my eyes eagerly on both my wife and her mermaid foe, I knew this fight was inevitable cause the hateful gaze in their eyes was burning with fury and it was too late to turn back now. Within a blink of an eye, Xeira summoned water from the water tank in our house and our neighbors creating a big water snake that was big enough to 3 elephant. She then manipulated the water snake making it smash it’s way all around destroying the area. Thankfully, our neighbors weren’t around to witness the destruction of their properties. After the water snake was done with it’s destruction, Xeira dispersed it and change the water into another form, she created large water rings around her and began to attack Rose.
Xeira’s magic was amazing cause with that large amount of water, she could attack and defend herself at the same time but despite that, she couldn’t anticipate what was going to happen next.
Seeing that Xeira had approached her, Rose smiled and snapped her fingers defiantly activating her own magic and within a blink of an eye, hundreds of her shadow minions emerged on the surface. Like ants feeding on a cockroach, the shadow minions bombarded Xeira from all sides attacking her brutally. The mermaid fought well and fended off Rose’s minions but her efforts were in vain cause the more she did that, the more the minions appeared. Realizing that she wasn’t going to win this, Xeira pulled back and expanded the waters rings instantly killing and cutting down anyone or anything within 3 miles.
Fortunately for me and Helen, we were swallowed by Rose’s shadow in the nick of time and within seconds, we resurfaced and saw what was going on. Rose was no where in sight and Xeira was still standing tall, her water rings were now less than before and just when I thought that Rose had been hit by Xeira’s attack, she too resurfaced from one of the shadows lying around.

Xeira ➡ How can this be? There’s no way you could have dodged in time.
.

Rose ➡ Your attacks are predictable. Thanks to Riley, there’s no way you can surprise me with your sneaky attacks.
.

Xeira ➡ We shall see.
.

Angered by Rose’s words, Xeira prepared for another attack but this one was strange and different. Suddenly, the mermaid uttered on beautiful tune and before Rose could figure out what was happening, something strange occurred. Out of the small remnants of water that was laying on the ground, some kind of monsters emerged in great numbers, their physiology was weird cause they were shaped like humans yet their skins was like that of fish. What terrified me the most was the way their jaws snapped really fast like money counters in the bank.
After the monsters had surrounded us, Xeira ordered them to attack Helen and I. Rose tried to protect us but Xeira didn’t let her take her eyes off her and for that, Helen and I were on our own. In that moment, I grabbed hold of my daughter and take into the house with her but then she wouldn’t let me instead she did the unexpected.

Lionel ➡ Helen, what are you doing?
.

Helen ➡ Daddy, I’m not running.
.

Lionel ➡ Let’s get inside. It’s not safe.
.

Helen ➡ Tell that to them.
.

Lionel ➡ What do you mean?
.

In that moment, one of the fish monsters reached out and tried to bite my neck but before that could happen, it’s head instantly fell from it’s neck. The others who saw what had happened hesitated trying to figure out what was happening but before that could happen, it was already too late for them.
As I later realized, my daughter Helen had already casted her magic by creating invisible razor sharp webs all around the place. After the first fish monster had been killed, Helen raised both of her hands and began to move fingers manipulating the webs to do her bidding. Unaware of what was going on, some of the fish monsters got sliced and chopped to pieces within a nanosecond while some of them got caught and tied in the web but that wasn’t the end of it. After trapping the fish monsters, Helen then used the webs to manipulate them like puppets to do her bidding and just as she wanted the fish monsters turned and rushed towards Xeira.

Meanwhile, Xeira who was busy fighting with Rose was shocked when she saw her own minions charging towards her. It was quite satisfying to see the tables turning against the fish b-tch however she didn’t give us the joy to watch her get humiliated. Shortly after being bombarded by her minions, Xeira spaced herself from them and then unleashed powerful sound-waves devastating everything in her path. Her minions died on the spot, the sound waves was too much for them that their heads exploded, Rose’s minions too were wasted but as for Helen and I we were sucked into the shadows once more.
Seconds later, Helen and I resurfaced and saw Xeira panting steadily, she must have used alot of her energy on that last attack. Immediately our eyes met in that moment, she instantly made a spear with the water floating around her and then tried to throw it at Helen and I but then all of a sudden, a black spear out of nowhere appeared and landed on her right shoulder. In that very moment, Rose resurfaced from a nearby shadow with black round objects floating on the palm of her hands.

Xeira ➡ (shouts painfully) ARRRGGHH!!!
.

Rose ➡ That’s it b-tch! Scream for me. Scream.
.

Xeira ➡ You coward!! Why don’t you fight me one on one?
.

Rose ➡ (laughs) If there’s one thing I learnt from Riley’s battle with you is to never get close. I’ll admit that you mermaids are experts at close range battles and you’re full of dirty tricks. Besides, all is fair in battle.
.

Xeira ➡ Pathetic. You’re just making an excuse, I’ll be sure to spread the word that is the almighty Rose is nothing but a coward. You’re just nothing but talk, at least your sister has more guts than you.
.

Anyone could see that Xeira was trying to lure Rose into her trap but this time around Xeira made a grave mistake when she uttered those statement. As expected, Rose was furious and mad but she remained calm and quiet. In that moment, She made all her minions disappear and then looked up at the sky watching as the sun disappeared into the sky. A wicked smile appeared on her face as she saw the distant faint of the moon showing in the sky and before long darkness covered the sky. As soon as darkness had covered the sky, Rose glared at Xeira wickedly and then smirked.

Rose ➡ You think I’m a coward? Me? It seems like I’ll have to make a you a scape goat to shoe everyone once and for all who I am.
.

Xeira ➡ More talk. Just get on with it. Nothing you do will surprise me. I already know your moves.
.

Shortly after Xeira’s statement, something strange began to happen to Rose. All of a sudden, her body began to emit black smoke and not only that, the shadows around us began to rise as if they were evaporating. At first, I thought she was going to summon something very horrifying but what came next made my spine rattle with fear. As the smoke was emitting from her body, Rose’s became pale and white like that of corpse, her eyes became black and her skin began to peel from her flesh. Just when I thought that I had seen enough, something appeared in the sky blocking out the moonlight that shone upon us. As I looked up in the sky, I saw some kind of black matter descending towards Rose and in that moment, she looked up and opened her mouth allowing the dark substance to enter her body.
As she swallowed the dark matter, Rose’s body began to change into a pitch black color and immediately her body had finished turning black, every shadow in that area began to merge with her body. Although it seems dark, the scene was a sight to behold cause as the shadows merged with Rose, they began to surround her in a circular motion creating some kind of black sphere. As the sphere became big as the size of our house, it shattered to pieces unveiling the most abominable and terrifying being I’ve ever seen.
Here before my eyes was pitch black shadow monster with bright red eyes and a big mouth in a vertical position. I needed no one to tell me that this was my wife in a different form but still I was shocked beyond belief. I never knew that Rose had this kind of magic and judging from the outcome it must be very ominous. After her transformation, Rose roared out loud making the ground to tremble. She then turned her gaze at Xeira and glared at her with murderous intent. Seeing that Rose had turned her attention towards her, Xeira took off with great speed running for her life. As expected, Rose chased Xeira roaring with fury determined to catch her and it didn’t take long before she caught up to her. After getting close to Xeira, Rose smacked her hard like a mosquito sending her flying in midair and before the mermaid could land on her feet, Rose struck again harder than before.
Despite being out matched in strength, Xeira tried to put up a fight but Rose didn’t give her a fighting chance. In that moment, Rose summoned ghostly beings and made them surround Xeira in great numbers, it was quite a pity to see the mermaid struggle while getting attacked from all sides, I was amazed how resilient she was despite being stacked against the odds but she couldn’t hold out for long. After watching Xeira helplessly defend herself from her minions, Rose rushed in and attacked the mermaid with a ominous magic which took her down.
Xeira who was on the verge of death, moaned in pain as the veins in her body began to turn black and gradually her skin too began to have the same effect. Just when I thought that the mermaid would die right in front of our eyes, she did something totally unexpected. All of a sudden, Xeira brought out a small calabash and smashed it the ground and in that very moment, a large amount of water big enough to fill a swimming pool covered the place and before Rose could react, Xeira was gone.
No words could describe how mad Rose was at that moment, she roared so loud and smash her way about until our eyes met. The murderous intent in her eyes left me shaking and wondering if she was going to kill me but then that didn’t happen. After staring at me for a while, Rose began to approach me steadily and as she got closer, her monster form began to disappear and by the time she got to me, she was n-ked and feeling weak. In that moment, Rose collapsed and fell on my arms before she could hit the ground, I carried her in my arms and rushed her into our wrecked up house. As soon as we got in, Helen rushed to our bedroom and brought a blanket in which I used to cover Rose with, her body was really cold so I did all I could to make her feel warm. Suddenly in that moment, Aunt Jezebel and Oliver appeared into our house. They were surprised when they saw our house in a mess.

Oliver ➡ What happened here?
.

Lionel ➡ It’s a long story.
.

Jezebel ➡ Rose.. Is she alright?
.

Lionel ➡ I’m not sure. She fought Xeira and won but after that she collapsed.
.

Jezebel ➡ Did she use any powerful magic?
.

Lionel ➡ Yes.. I’ve never seen her cast this kind of magic before.
.

Jezebel ➡ Crazy girl. She knows the risk of unleashing powerful spells during pregnancy.
.

Lionel ➡ Pregnancy? Is she…..
.

Jezebel ➡ Yes, she’s pregnant. Let’s take her to my house and check on her. I hope nothing happens to her.
.

Oliver ➡ Where’s Xeira?
.

Lionel ➡ She escaped but she’s on the verge of death.

Oliver ➡ If she gets to an open ocean, she will be as good as new. Mermaids don’t need medicine or magic to heal, the water is their medicine.

Jezebel ➡ Enough talk, let’s get out of here before anyone comes and sees us. Helen bring your hand.

Searching for Xeira’s step sister was not an easy task even with her coordinates about her sister’s whereabouts . After hijacking a ship full of cargo, I together with some of my subjects sailed through the Atlantic ocean trying to lure Zenti out as we murdered the human crew that were on the cargo ship.
Xeira said that her step sister has a soft spot of humans and she aided sailors whose ship was about to drown in sea. It would have been better if the ocean was calm but then I and my subjects had to wait and endure the rainstorm that fell on us. The weather was cold and the powerful winds that came with rain made the ocean to create big waves that tossed the cargo ship around endlessly.

After murdering all the human crew on the cargo ship, I waited for nearly an hour in the cold rain storm hoping that Zenti to show up and just when I was about to call it quits on the search, her royal highness showed up. At first, none of us saw her coming, all we saw was a great number of sharks and whales trying the cargo ship from both sides. Considering how wild the ocean was, the cargo ship rocked violently to the extent that some of the cargo felt in the water and before my subjects and I could figure out what was going on, Xeira’s step sister Zenti showed up from behind us.
The rumors and stories I’ve heard about this mermaid was nothing compared to what I was seeing before me. Zenti was far more beautiful than the stories and rumor described her to be, she was an inch closer to perfection and her body was that of a goddess. Because of how beautiful she was, all of my male subjects drooled at her bewitching looks without blinking an eye. I too was mesmerized by her beauty and charm but then I became cautious and on guard after sensing an intense amount of bad vibes from Zenti.

Iyunloye ➡ Greetings Princess, its an honor to finally meet you.
.

Zenti ➡ You dare soil this ocean with innocent human blood?
.

Iyunloye ➡ I did this all to have your attention and now that you’re here, I would like to…
.

Zenti ➡ I know why you’re here and the answer is no.
.

Iyunloye ➡ huh?
.

Zenti ➡ Don’t look so surprised. Even in the ocean everyone has heard about Evlyn and her plan to recruit powerful beings to join her ranks. However, I’m not interested and let her not make the mistake of thinking that the ocean is her territory. She may have power on the surface but here in the ocean, she’s going to be dead meat if she tries to force her will.

Iyunloye ➡ You arrogant louse!!! Who do you think you are?
.

Zenti ➡ Leave this place at once or die here and rot in the ocean.
.

Iyunloye ➡ You’re the one who’s going to die! All of you, bring me her head.
.

It’s been proven several times that there’s strength in number and I was certain that I could take down Zenti and prove Xeira that she was wrong about her stepsister. However, what I failed to realize was that everyone is a master in his own field and in this situation, it was I who was outmatched in numbers and strength.
My followers were powerful beings but their strength could not prepare them for what they were about to face. As my followers charged towards Zenti, she stood and watched them with a defiant smile on her face. I thought she was trying to show off but as I later realized, my followers had signed their death warrants without knowing. Suddenly, Zenti raised her right hand and opened it wide pointing it at the direction of my followers and within a blink of an eye, their heads exploded from their shoulders. I was devastated and shocked when I saw what happened, I couldn’t even explain what had happened until Zenti showed me everything.

Iyunloye ➡ What did you do?
.

Zenti ➡ There are many things that my sister Xeira doesn’t know about me. I can control any water and that includes rain water and I just used it to kill your followers.
.

Iyunloye ➡ Impossible!.
.

Zenti ➡ You thought you could just come here and establish your dominance. The very moment you came here, your lives were forfeit. I’m the alpha and omega in this ocean and you’re nothing but at ant to me. Nobody can control the power of the sea and ocean not even your Evlyn. Now I’m going to show you first hand, the power of the ocean.
.

In that very moment, Zenti’s eye became bright like light and she began to utter some strange words. Before I knew it, the ocean began to roar as if it was alive, the cargo ship was getting rocked wilder than ever and what’s even worse was that the waves were closing in on the ship. In that moment, I tried to teleport away but then I had the shock of my life when I saw Zenti teleport towards me. No mermaid could teleport instantly without using water or some kind of teleportation charm but here was Zenti doing it freely without using anything. I tried to fight her but my body froze instantly, I couldn’t even move a finger. It was then that I realized that Zenti had used the rain water to bind me completely, I was trapped.
In that moment, I tried unleashed my nullification magic to break myself free but before that could happen, Zenti punched me hard in my stomach sending me flying off the cargo ship and straight into the ocean.
Immediately I fell inside, Zenti followed me and grabbed hold of me diving me down hundreds of meters into the cold deep blue. Although I was free of my bounds I couldn’t do anything, I was running out of air and I couldn’t see clearly cause the ocean was really dark below. After diving to the deepest part of the ocean, Zenti released me and began to give me a beating. All of my life, I never thought I’d be in this helpless position receiving an endless barrage of punches and blows all over my body. It was really painful and I was forced to bleed and although I tried to fight back, I was no match for Zenti who was way more stronger than I am. After minutes of sheer and brutal beating, Zenti teleported us both back to the surface but instead of taking us to the cargo ship, she took us up in the air amidst the falling rain and sparks of lightening.

Zenti ➡ I should kill you but I’m going to let you live for now. Tell your master that if she ever tries to come here to this ocean, tell her that she’ll be facing the might of the ocean.
.

After that statement, Zenti released me allowing me to fall straight back into the cargo ship. I had no idea how long I was falling but as I crashed on those huge cargos, I yelped with pain as I felt the sharp jab of iron on my back. As if that hadn’t caused enough pain for me, Zenti manipulated the waves making them so big that it was enough to wipe out an entire city. I knew she was trying to make the waves to swallow me but before that could happen, I gathered all the strength I had and teleported out of the cargo ship before getting crushed by the wave.
