Chapter 113 :- For better or Worse.

Despite being devastated after hearing the words of breakup from Rotimi’s mouth, Ebinoluwa still didn’t believe that he meant what he said. Its not like she was desperate or anything, she couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that Rotimi who was madly in love with her would suddenly decide to break up with her and without any concrete reasons whatsoever. What bothered her the most was the fact that Rotimi said that he killed an innocent kid which was very unlike him. Ebinoluwa knew that something was wrong with her boyfriend and she was determined to get to the bottom of it.

Hours after Rotimi had shown up in her house, Ebinoluwa made her way to the lounge to confront him and find out what was going on. Upon her arrival at the lounge, the young witch came across Aunt folade who was going on about her usual business. After calming herself down, Ebinoluwa approaches the female demon confidently so as to inquire about her Rotimi’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, Aunt Folade who had sensed her nephew’s girlfriend in the premises bit her lips in annoyance. She wasn’t Ebinoluwa to show up at all, she was hoping that she’d be heartbroken about the breakup but its seems that wasn’t the case, now she would have to try another means to get rid of her.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Good afternoon Folade.

Folade ➡ (coldly) Ebinoluwa, what a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting to see you after what happened between you and my nephew.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Actually, that’s why I’m here. Where’s Rotimi?
.

Folade ➡ He’s not around but i can assure you that he doesn’t want to see you and neither do you.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Why is that?
.

Folade ➡ Because he’s left with some witch to blow off some steam.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (feeling jealous) I see. So he’s not here?
.

Folade ➡ Of course. I’ll tell him you came by.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Did I say I was going to leave? I’m going to wait for him. Can I wait in his room?
.

Folade ➡ Rotimi doesn’t want you anymore, why can’t you respect that and move on?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Oh he loves me and I know something isn’t right. Besides, I don’t trust you demon. I’ll wait and confirm things for myself.
.

Folade ➡ Forcing yourself on my nephew won’t work. Didn’t he tell you that his demonic form is manifesting? I’m sure he told you that he killed an innocent human kid?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ What about it?
.

Folade ➡ So you’re not bothered by it?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Something is wrong with Rotimi, I can feel it.
.

Folade ➡ Oh please. There’s nothing wrong with him. He’s becoming what he’s always meant to be. It’s his destiny and you’re in the way.
.

After hearing that last statement from her boyfriend’s aunt, Ebinoluwa soon realizes the obvious. Suddenly in that moment, Ebinoluwa uses a petrification spell on Folade turning her body into stone but to her surprise, the female demon breaks free thanks to her wish granting abilities and then tries to make a break for it. Seeing that Folade was trying to escape, Ebinoluwa instantly casts a holy magic around the lounge sealing all entrances and exits with a bright white rays of light that’s deadly to forces of darkness. As Folade tries to get out, not only does she fail in doing so but she also gets burned in the process.
Seeing that her boyfriend’s demonic aunt is incapacitated, Ebinoluwa grabs one of the empty bottles of beer in the lounge and then silently chants some sealing spell on it. As soon as she gets close to Folade, Ebinoluwa points the bottle at her direction after which she gets sucked in instantly into the whole bottle. After having Folade right where she wants her, Ebinoluwa magically seals the mouth of the bottle and heads out of the lounge. Other supernatural beings who witnessed what had happened said nothing at all, they didn’t want to piss off the witch who had easily sealed of a powerful demon right in front of them. They all watched silently as Ebinoluwa left the lounge and disappeared out into the open.

After exiting the lounge, Ebinoluwa teleports herself to the hot desert sands of the Sahara where she locates one of the deserts most dangerous element which is quick sand. Seeing that the heat of the sun was very that afternoon, Ebinoluwa removes her jacket leaving only her half west and shorts on her. After that, she turns her attention to Folade who’s trapped inside the bottle in her hand.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I had a feeling that you never liked my relationship with your nephew. I honestly don’t need your blessing and approval.
.

Folade ➡ You witches are nothing but trouble. For centuries you’ve been treating us demons like your toys and slaves.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ That’s your fault. You demons are too powerful to be left unchecked.
.

Folade ➡ Is that why you’re interested in my nephew? So that you can keep him in check?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I love Rotimi. I have no agenda towards him. Why would you think of that?
.

Folade ➡ He needs to grow and you’re in the way. His love for you is messing with his head and it’s costing him dearly. I’ve seen what he’s going through. He doesn’t stand a chance against external threats if he doesn’t accept his demonic side.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I can’t risk losing him to the pits of darkness.
.

Folade ➡ You’re a fool. He’s a supernatural being and so you are. You can’t have it both ways. It’s time for you to choose a side. Rotimi’s demonic side will manifest whether he likes it or not. That’s his fate. When has being human ever benefitted him? He was bullied, victimized and almost killed when he was a child and he wasn’t even a demon yet. He needs to accept and understand the fact that he can never live his life as a human. That goes for you as well. Your father may be human but that life doesn’t suit you, you may pretend to be one but let’s face it, you’ll never live like one. As long as you have witch blood flowing through your veins, your life will never be normal.

Ebinoluwa ➡ You don’t know that.
.

Folade ➡ Oh I do. You may not believe it now but you will soon enough, it’s only a matter of time. So tell me, if Rotimi were to accept his demonic side, will you still love him? The first thing he did was kill a kid after his manifestation began. So tell me now, do you still love despite all of that?
.

No reply came from Ebinoluwa. Instead, she stood up and then took a long breath staring at the sun as she remained quiet. Seeing that her words had gotten into the young witch, Folade decides to do whatever she can to severe any feelings that Ebinoluwa might have for her nephew but before she could utter any word, her question was finally answered.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ You have no right to question me about love, demon. I may not say much often but I love Rotimi, you may think this is best for him but he deserves a better life. Rotimi has been through alot and I will not sit by and watch him turn into a monster.
.

Folade ➡ What’s done is done. His demonic form will manifest and there’s nothing that you can do to stop it.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Perhaps but I will not give up on him. You asked me if I would still love him after he turns… Yes, I will. Nobody’s perfect, just because he turned doesn’t mean I’ll abandone him. I won’t let him become a monster. Mark my words, I’ll do whatever it takes.
.

Folade ➡ This won’t end well for you witch! You’re trying to control something that is out of your control, your interference will only make things worst.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I don’t care. Now, tell me where Rotimi is.
.

Folade ➡ (chuckles) You don’t scare me, not even your Aunt can make me talk. Do your worst, let’s see if my nephew will still love you if he finds out about what you’re about to do.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Oh, I’m not going to kill you. I’m just going to make sure that you’re never found ever again. You wanted me to embrace my witch heritage right? Well, this is me doing just that. Sealing off demons has been a common practices amongst witches for generations. Tell me where my boyfriend is or you’ll be forever trapped in this bottle and lost forever in this sands. You choose?

Folade ➡ You selfish bitch! Why can’t you just accept things as they are? Why are you making this so difficult?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Like I said, I don’t care. I’m only after my own interests. So what’s it going to be?
.

Folade ➡ Alright fine.. I’ll tell you where Rotimi is. He’s at the lounge trapped in his room. I have someone there watching him, he can never get out without my say so. Now, let me go so that I can…
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (chuckles) What do you take me for? I’m not letting you go until I see Rotimi. Now let’s head back to the lounge.

Meanwhile here inside lounge, Rotimi’s predicament gets worse as he continues to get taunted and mocked by the old demon. Despite given a way out of the situation he’s in, the young half breed decides not to take it. He didn’t want to be forced into making a decision that’s not his but as time went by, Rotimi began to get impatient and less tolerant.

Domain demon ➡ You miserable fool. Why don’t you make this easier for yourself? Don’t you want to see your precious witch sweetheart again. (chuckles)
.

Rotimi ➡ (fuming) Shut up.
.

Domain demon ➡ Denying your true nature won’t do you any good. The more you do that, the longer you stay here and the longer you stay here, the less your precious witch girlfriend thinks about you. Who knows? She might be enjoying someone’s else company now that you’re not available.
.

Rotimi ➡ I SAID.. SHUT UP!!!
.

Domain demon ➡ (laughs) What’s the matter boy? Can’t take it anymore?
.

Rotimi ➡ I’m going to kill you.
.

Domain demon ➡ (laughs) Let’s see you try. I just don’t understand you. Why won’t you accept your true nature? Living like a human won’t do you any good, you should be getting back at them for what they did to you.
.

Rotimi ➡ It doesn’t concern you.
.

Domain demon ➡ What’s it going to be, bastard?
.

Filled with rage and pure hatred, Rotimi remains quiet clenching his fists hard and tight. Suddenly in that moment, Rotimi explodes yelling with rage as he emits some kind of black mist from his body. After that, Rotimi’s raging emotions forces him to manifest his demonic side but unlike his first transformation, this one was far more worst.

Meanwhile, the old demon who thought she was in control soon trembled in fright as she sensed the demonic aura coming from Rotimi. She had completely lost her composure after that and before she could realize the danger she had gotten herself into, the unexpected occurred. Within a blink of an eye, the calabash that the old demon held exploded with a loud boom and immediately after that, Rotimi emerges out of nowhere and strangles the old demon separating her from the ground. Despite her struggles to break free, the old demon was no match for Rotimi whose strength was greater than her one. Not only is he more powerful and deadly but he had also gained new abilities besides his black luck powers.

Domain demon ➡ What in the devil’s name are you? Release me!!!.
.

There was no reply from Rotimi. Instead, he tightened his grip on the old demon’s neck and then smashed her into the wall of his room. After that brutal display of force and dominance, Rotimi finally voices out his thoughts and intentions.

Dark Rotimi ➡ Rotten old cunt! You should just kept your mouth shut but you had to run it. Any last words?
.

Domain demon ➡ I only did what’s best for you. This is who you are.
.

Dark Rotimi ➡ Oh I agree but you made one mistake and that’s bringing my girlfriend into this. I may be different now but Ebinoluwa’s precious to me.
.

Domain demon ➡ You dog! That bitch’s cunt must be made out of honey. There’s no way that your relationship with her will ever last.
.

Dark Rotimi ➡ And you will not br around to see it. Time’s up!

Domain demon ➡ NOOO!!!

🐞 EBINOLUWA 🐞

Displaying a brute of force on Rotimi’s Aunt sure worked out as I expected. There was no way she’d tell me anything if I went easy on her but I’m glad it didn’t end in an unfortunate circumstances. After getting the information I needed, I teleport back to the lounge with Rotimi’s Aunt still trapped inside the bottle. I still didn’t believe what she told me, I have to see it to believe what she’s saying is true. As soon as I arrived at the lounge, I headed straight to Rotimi’s room and immediately I got there, I saw something I was hoping never to set my eyes on.
Here before my very eyes stood Rotimi or better yet what’s left of him. He looked terrifying in his demonic form and I could feel an intense bloodlust, rage and pure hatred around him. In that moment, Rotimi sensed my presence and our eyes met. There was this dead emptiness in his eyes and zero feeling, it was as if he has no soul at all. Despite all of this, I refused to believe that this was it for Rotimi. I know that he can still be saved cause it would be cruel for me to abandon him like this.
After taking a good look at Rotimi, I decided to approach him but before I could even blink an eye, he was already behind me. I felt his warm breath behind my neck and I could tell that he was very close. I stood still without moving an inch, I didn’t want to give him any reason to assault me and besides he couldn’t hurt me even if he wanted to cause I’m already well protected with a powerful defense magic. Shortly after breathing down my neck, Rotimi began to sniff on me and judging from his steady breaths and low hmms, I could tell he was enjoying it but that was nothing compared to what came next.
After sniffing in on me, Rotimi closed the gap between us by wrapping his demonic arms around me from behind and as if that wasn’t enough, he began to lick my neck delicately. I might have resisted if he was his normal self but now that he’s like this, I decided to let him do whatever he wants. As soon as Rotimi was done licking my neck, he turned me around, carried me effortlessly in his arms and then pinned me on the wall where we began to kiss.
As unimaginable and crazy as it might be to share a kiss with a demon, it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Kissing Rotimi in his demonic form was no different from our other previous kisses when he was his normal self but unlike before, this one was much more intense. Rotimi’s lips was firmly pressed against mine as we kissed, even as we shared tongues, his mouth kept sticking onto mine.
Because of how deep our intimacy was in that moment, I had to drop the bottle that I used to trap Rotimi’s aunt inside. Speaking of Rotimi’s aunt, she wasn’t pleased when she saw me and her nephew kissing in that moment, she even tried to call to his attention but Rotimi ignored her completely.
After spending minutes kissing nonstop, I decided to use this opportunity to undo his demonic transformation and return to normal. If there’s one thing that hasn’t changed about Rotimi, its his feelings for me and with that, I can make him do whatever I want him to do.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (softly) Rotimi..

Dark Rotimi ➡ What is it?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Why’d you break up with me?
.

Dark Rotimi ➡ It wasn’t me. I would never do that. My aunt is responsible for all of this.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ She broke my heart, Rotimi. How could you let her do something like that?
.

Dark Rotimi ➡ I swear to you I had no idea that she would do something like that. We can still fix this.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I’m not really sure. I don’t think that I can go back.
.

Rotimi said nothing after that. Instead, he let go of me and began to express his rage by thrashing his room. It was wild and beyond savage. He punched through walls, broke his furniture and even pieces his clothes. It may seem heartless of me to standby and watch as he destroy his belongings but watching him made me realize something.
Rotimi’s transformation didn’t just happen at will, it was because of his emotions. His emotions fueled his demonic persona and if he’s left unchecked, the kind of destruction that he’ll cause will be very ugly. Seeing that there was nothing left in the room for Rotimi to destroy, I decided to step in and draw his attention before he decides to leave the lounge and cause more damage.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (softly) Rotimi..
.

Dark Rotimi ➡ WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE? JUST GO ALREADY.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Do you really want to see me leave?
.

Dark Rotimi ➡ Stop toying with my feelings! I won’t take that from you.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I’m not. I shouldn’t have said what I said earlier but if there was a means to make amends, will you take it?
.

Dark Rotimi ➡ (laughs) I see what you’re trying to do, you want me to change back. Well, that’s not going to happen. That Rotimi is weak.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (silence)
.

Dark Rotimi ➡ Why can’t you just love as I am?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I do love you but you’re becoming a monster and I can’t let you become one.
.

Dark Rotimi ➡ So what now? Are you going to seal me?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ No but I won’t give up on you. You’re not a monster babe, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Demon or not, I still love you and I’m sure there’s a way you can embrace this side of yours without killing unnecessarily.
.

Rotimi ➡ What if there isn’t, what happens to us?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ That depends on you. See you around Rotimi.
.

Rotimi ➡ Wait.
.

Using that insane speed of his, Rotimi appeared in front of me reaching out for both of my hands. We stared at each other for a while before we began to voice out our thoughts.

Rotimi ➡ I don’t want to lose you. I can’t lose you.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ You love me, don’t you?
.

Rotimi ➡ More than you can imagine.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Then you know what to do. Come find me when you’ve made up your mind.
.

After that statement, I gave Rotimi a little kiss and then left his room and just as I was about to head out to the lounge, Aunt Rose popped out of one of the shadows in the corridor. I wasn’t expecting to see her but I wouldn’t be surprised if she knew what went down between Rotimi and I.

Rose ➡ I must say niece, I’m impressed. You’re more of a witch than a human.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ What’s that supposed to mean?
.

Rose ➡ I saw how you handled your boyfriend. Using his feelings to make him do your bidding. Ouch!
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I did it for the right reason.
.

Rose ➡ Did you now? You’re playing with fire. You and this demon are too romantically attached that you don’t see the mistakes you’re making.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ There is no mistake. Becoming monsters won’t benefit either of us.
.

Rose ➡ (chuckles) Silly girl. It takes a monster to defeat one. Being a goody two shoes won’t bring victory against Evlyn. She’s out there getting stronger, while you’re here getting dickmatized by a demon.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I resent your insinuations about me and for the record, I’m not sitting around doing nothing. You heard what I did the night of the invasion 2months ago, right? That’s just a taste of what’s to come. The next time I meet with Evlyn, I’ll get even.
.

Rose ➡ Let’s hope you’re right. In the meantime, your boyfriend needs to pack right now. I can’t have him causing problems for this lounge while he’s going through his demonic growth.

Ebinoluwa ➡ But he doesn’t have anyplace else to go.
.

Rose ➡ That’s his problem!
