HER QUEST FOR REVENGE

CHAPTER 22🥀

Yvonne slowly opened her eyes and smiled as memory of last night came back.

She looked at Mason who was still sleeping soundly. She pecked his l-ips and stared at his face endlessly.

Mason pulled her closer…

“Stop staring at me like that” He said with his eyes closed.

She chuckled

“Good morning” She said with a smile.

He finally opened his eyes and pinched her cheek.

“Good morning, how are you feeling?”He asked.

“I’m feeling perfectly fine” She said and snuggled with his chest.

“Thanks for last night” He said.

She looked up at him and kssed him lightly.

“Thanks for loving me” She said.

Suzy slowly opened her eyes and scanned through her surrounding. She jolted up from bed as it wasn’t he he took.She later calmed down as she remembered that Rulian insisted she spend the night with him.

She scanned the surrounding and he was nowhere to be seen. He phone suddenly peeped and she picked it up.

It was a message from her mom or should I say agent V.

💌 We’re having a meeting in the next 40 minutes. Make sure you’re here.

She kept back her phone and almost immediately, Rulian walked in with a plate of food. She smiled seeing this cute side of him…

He bend down to the bed and kssed her.

“Morning princess” He said

“Morning prince” She said with a smile.

He placed the food on the bed and began feeding her while stealing ksses at the same time.

After he was done feeding her she stood up and walked to his bathroom. She took a quick shower and dressed back.

“I’ll leave now, I have something important to attend to.” She said while buckling her shoes.

She walked up to the bed where he was sitting and pecked him then made to go but he pulled her back and she fell on the b.ed, he came on top of her.

“You tormented me mentally and physically and you want to leave just giving me a peck. That’s not fair” He said with a pout.

She laughed seeing his face like that…

“What do you want me to do then?” She asked though she knew already.

He kssed her.

Roxanna walked into the G empire. She walked to her new mom’s office as through workers bowed in respect for her..

She walked in her office and almost immediately Suzy walked in too. Looks like she was running.

They took their respective seat as they awaited for agent V to come…

She walked in and took her seat which was at the head of the table.

“As you all know drug syndicates are compiling in this country. If measures aren’t taken this country will turn to a home for drug dealers. The police force are doing all their best but still that isn’t enough. They need our help and as the best fighters in this company, you’ll take the lead in this mission” Agent V said.

She pressed the remote controller and a video popped up on the screen…

“As you can all see in this video, Cordelia Lehigh was found dead in her hideout and all her men where also killed. The reason and the person responsible for her death remains a secret but researches has proven that whoever killed her was trying to protect his or her secrets” Agent V said pacing through the room..

“Also I have some news for you agent R. We have succeeded in unfolding the identity of the person who murdered your parents. Its non other than Hector Jenkins. In one way or the other your father find out their illegal business and tried to stop them but it was unsuccessful. He then planned for your parents to get killed…”Agent V said.

“How certain are you that he’s the one?” Roxanna asked.

“Well as you all know there’s the satellite which monitors every move we make. With the help of Catherine, I had it hacked and I extracted the video of when your father was killed.”

She displayed the video on the screen.

“They followed Mr Martinez home and they wait for the convenient time. Then they snuck in and killed him and your mother.”

She paused on the camera and zoomed on the video.

“What do you see?” She asked

“I see a guy with red highlights on his hair” Olivia said.

Yvonne eyes w¡dened.

“Its him it’s Alec. That was the same outfit he wore when he raped me and also at that time he had his hair color mixed with red.” Yvonne said calmly.

“Ok I see, so by that time Alec was still in the country. His father hired him to kill Roxanna’s parents and on his way he took advantage of you” Agent V said.

Roxanna just glared at his image…

“This mission is really complicated that’s why I called a professional from abroad to help us” Agent V said

Not long after foot steps were heard as some one walked in dressed in a blue coat with dark hair tied.

He walked and then stood in front of them. He shook hands with agent V and then faced the girls.

“Meet ‘the shadow’ ” Agent V said

Suzy’s eyes w¡dened in shock

“Rulian?” She said in shock….

Alec walked back to his house smiling happily to himself.

“Dad, I already did what you told me to do” He said.

“Good now that Cordelia is down, you know who’s next right” Hector said.

“Of course dad” He said and removed his phone and made a call…

“Hello, I would like to book an interview with a member of the ROSY girls, Roxanna Martinez is her name” He said to their manager….

“Rulian?” Suzy said.

They all turned to her, confused…

“Please could you leave us for some minutes, I have something to discuss with this miss” The man said.

They all stood and left the room. It was just the two of them.

He walked up to her and sat down on a seat close to hers…

“Did you just call me Rulian?” He asked…

“I’m sorry you looked so much like my boyfriend.” She said when she realized it wasn’t Rulian.

“Rulian?” He said in deep thoughts.

“I’m Suzy Guzman. Daughter of agent V, it’s my pleasure to meet such an important personality” Suzy said stretching her hand for a handshake.

“Ronald Jenkins, but call me Shadow” He said accepting the handshake.

“Ronald?” Suzy said as she froze.

“Yeah” He said and stood up and made to leave…

“Is your father’s name Maximilian?” Suzy asked and he stopped on his track….

“How did you know about that? Not even agent V knows about it” He asked

“So you’re the brother of Rulian?” Suzy said still shocked.

“Who’s Rulian?” He asked again slowly dying of curiosity…

She told him everything Rebecca told her and Rulian…

“That’s all what she said” Suzy concluded and looked up at him.

She was surprised to see him in tears….

“Finally, I have someone I could call mom, someone I could call brother” He said in tears…

“Sir,,,are you…”

She didn’t finish her statement as he hugged her tightly…

“Thanks Suzy, thanks so much.” He said.

She rubbed his back.

“It’s okay sir…”

He broke the hug and wiped his tears.

“Please stop calling me sir, your my brother’s girlfriend so it makes us in laws to be” He said and winked.

She giggled silently….

“I also have something to tell you. I killed my father” He dropped the bomb.

Suzy gasped…

“I killed him when I was 17. I just hated his ways, he was too cruel, too manipulative. One day he gave me the beatings of his life out of drunkenness. He took the gun to shoot me but I quickly stabbed him. He died on the s₱0t. I reported everything to the police and instead of locking me up, they congratulated me. I formed my own company that will fight against monsters like my dad. Right now my uncle Hector thinks my dad is still alive and he doesn’t know that I’m planning for his downfall. In short, I’m playing a very dangerous game right now. But one thing is sure, its that I never regretted killing that bastard” He said.

Suzy rubbed his shoulder, trying to calm him down. He held her hand and smiled…

“Can I meet them?” Ronald asked.

“Sure, I’ll take you to them. Just meet me at the cafeteria nearby at 7pm” She said with a smile…

“Thanks in law” He said.

“Stop calling me that, I’m not married” She said and they laughed…

He pressed a button, signalling they can come back in. After some minutes they all walked in.

Ronald walked out and as he reached where Olivia was their gaze locked till they passed each other….

Olivia looked back at him before entering the office…

After the long meeting, Roxanna went back home with Suzy.

“What were you two discussing about?” Roxanna asked Suzy.

“Well he was just asking about me and the group” She lied…

*I don’t if I should tell anyone for now so it’s better I keep quiet* She thought.

“Okay. Have you noticed the way he stared at Olivia?” Roxanna said…

“Yeah, do you smell something?” Suzy asked

Roxanna sniffed in and nodded…

“I smell love coming by” She said and they laughed loudly…

Suzy took dinner with her family and after that she walked up to her room. She took a quick bath and dressed in a simple pink gown. She picked up her phone and walked out of her room…

“Mum, I’m going out. I won’t take long, I promise” She said and walked out of the house.

She took a cab to the cafeteria and truly he’s standing by the roadside waiting for her.

She alighted the cab and walked up to him with a smile.

“Shall we?” He said gesturing to his car.

Suzy nodded and followed him. He opened the door for her to enter before he entered too as they drove off…

CHAPTER 23🥀

Ronald parked the car in front of a house. Suzy looked at Ronald and he had a look of fear in them.

“What if they hate me because of my father?” He asked.

She held his hand.

“Relax, they’ll love you. I’m sure of that” She said.

He exhaled hærd and nodded before exiting the car. Suzy alighted shorted…

They walked up to the gate and the guard let them in since they already knew who she was. They were also surprised to see the exact replica of Rulian with her….

She walked up to the door and knocked.

The opened revealing Rulian. He smiled as he saw Suzy.

He leaned forward and k-ssed her as his hands rested on her wa-ist.

“What a surprise” He said.

“Um I actually came with someone” Suzy said…

Rulian ached his brow.

Suzy looked back at Ronald and he walked up to them.

Rulian froze as he saw his exact replica…

Tears welled up in Ronald eyes as he saw Rulian.

“Brother” Ronald said

Tears glistened in Rulian’s eyes too as he released Suzy facing Ronald.

“Ronald?” Rulian said.

“I’m…I’m really so…”

Ronald didn’t get to finish his phrase as Rulian hugged him tightly. He relaxed and hugged him back too.

Suzy wiped off her tears as she watched the beautiful reunion with smiles on her face…

They broke the hug and smiled at each other.

Rulian turned to Suzy and hugged her as he kssed her.

“Thank you, this is the best gift ever” Rulian said in her ears…

She smiled happily.

They broke the hug and face Ronald. They hugged each other again.

Rebecca woke up as she heard some noise downstairs. She went downstairs…

“Rulian?” She called…

Ronald turned to her and stood on his s₱0t.

“Mother?” He called…

“Yeah why that face? It’s late you have to sleep” She said thinking that it was Rulian.

Rulian walked in with Suzy and she looked at them confused

She looked at the two of them not knowing who is who. But she noticed that Rulian has green eyes while the one standing in front of him has brown eyes.

Ronald smiled as tears came out of his eyes….

“Mum, it’s me Ronald” He said with a smile on his.

Rebecca froze as he stared at his face. Tears gathered in her eyes as she slowly raised her hand to car-ss his cheek.

“Ro…Ronald” She stuttered..

Ronald nodded and held her hand then kssed it.

She quickly hugged him as tears flowed down her eyes…For 21 years she has been dreaming of holding him in her hands and wish finally came through, he family is finally complete.

They broke the hug and Ronald wiped off her tears before kssing her forehead…

“Finally I have a mum and a brother” Ronald said.

Rulian hugged Suzy as they watched them…

They settled down on the couch and Ronald told them all what happened. How he killed his father but he excluded the part that he’s working as a secret agent…

“I’m sorry I wasn’t able to escape with you” Rebecca said rubbing Ronald’s hand.

“It’s okay mum. The most important is that we are together” Ronald said…

They chatted for sometimes till it was time for Suzy and Ronald to go back home.

Rulian esc-rted her home.

“Good night Suzy” Rulian said with a smile

“Good night honey” She replied and pecked him but the peck turned to a deep kss.

They broke the kss and Rulian tugged her hair behind her ear. She walked in the house before he walked back home.

Suzy opened the door to her room and almost scre-med as she saw Roxanna sitting on her bed.

“You scared the living he..ll out of me” She said while holding her chest.

“I saw everything that happened. So you were kssing our new boss” Roxanna said surprised.

“Huh? No it’s not him. That is Rulian, his twin brother” Suzy said.

“Wow, he has a twin brother. I’m happy for you Suzy” Roxanna said and walked out of her room.

She changed and went to bed as she drifted off to sleep immediately…

Olivia was sleeping peacefully when she heard some noise coming from her room.

She rose up and scanned the room with her eyes. The room was dark, only the rays of the moon which slightly brightens it. She laid back and closed her eyes but the noise came back…

She slowly climbed down the bed with her fist folded ready to fight.

“Show yourself, come and fight me like and man.” She said as she scanned her room, ready to fight.

In a flash, someone grabbed her hand. She tried to punch back but the person held her hand and pinned her the wall.

She struggled to free herself but the person was too strong. Judging by the physique, it was a man.

He brought his face closer to her and she shifted away.

“Who are you? What do you want?” Olivia asked.

Olivia stopped struggling long ago….

He slowly pecked her l-ips which made Olivia to shiver.
Olivia held into him as her knees were already giving up.

He looked back at her face and brushed the back of his palm on her face.

“Who are you?” Olivia asked.

“The lesser you know the better, all what you have to know is that I really like you. Love at first sight” He finally spoke and chuckled lightly

*Love at first sight? That means I’ve already met him* Olivia thought.

He lifted her chin up and slowly k-ssed her.
He broke the k-ss and tugged her hair behind her ear.

“One day you’ll know who I am, but for now it’s too risky. Goodnight” He said and kssed her forehead before walking to her window. He jumped off it and walked away.

Olivia sat on the bed, shocked, confused, with her brain disorg-nized.

“I just gave my first kss to a complete stranger. What’s wrong with me?” She said in a whisper.

She laid on bed but she wasn’t able to sleep throughout the wh0le night.

___________Next morning

Roxanna woke up and yawned lightly. She picked up her phone and saw a message from the band manager.

💌 Good morning Roxanna, you have an interview tomorrow at 9am. Don’t miss it!!

She ached a brow.

*How can I be the only person having the interview?* She thought.

She climbed down the bed and did her business before before dressing up in a black short gown. She brushed her hair and applied some makeup…

She picked up her bag and walked out of the room.

“Is the plan working?” Hector asked smoking as usual.

“Yes dad, Roxanna Martinez will be kidnapped today. We gave her a fake location about the interview, when she’ll reach there boom we’ll kidnap her” Alec said sipping on his wine

“Good,that name reminds me if something. Martinez?” Hector said.

“Yeah me too, it greatly reminds me of a family you sent me to kill” Alec said.

“Yeah you’re right. So she’s the only survivor of that family. Maybe that family wasn’t meant to exist after all” Hector said and they both laughed
