Episode 27

AUTHORESS P.O.V

Brittany searched for the person looking for her with her eyes.

She was about to go back to the house before she saw the person.

“How may I help you?” Brittany asked.

“Good evening beautiful” Dora greet and removed the hoodie from her head.

“I don’t need your greeting, just tell me why you’re here because I don’t know you,” Brittany said.

“Aww it hurt, she’s not Friendly at her” Dora said with a pout.

“Why are you here?” Brittany asked again. “Anyway, I can help you get Rowen,” Dora said with a smile.

“Who are you and which Rowen are you talking about?” Brittany asked.

“Stop pretending as if you don’t know the Rowen I’m talking about, I know you need my help, so I’m here to help you,” Dora said with a smile.

“Who are you to Rowen? And how did I know I like him?” Brittany asked.

“Okay, I’ll answer your first question, I’m Rowen’s little sister, yes and he Cherished me a lot, so I can help you I don’t want that slût for my brother,” Dora said.

“My friend isn’t a slut” Brittany replied and Dora burst into laughter.

“Hey stop pretending as if you haven’t called your so-called friend a slut before, and come to think of it, did you think your so-called friend loves you?” Dora asked.

“I don’t understand what you’re talking about” Brittany replied.

“I’ll make you understand, if your so called friend love you dearly, she won’t drag Rowen with you, because she knows you really love him, but she used her power and wealth, she took him from you because she’s your boss, come to think of it are you suppose to be working under your friend?” Dora asked.

“I chose to work under her, she didn’t force me” Brittany replied.

“She can start up a business for you if she truly loves you, I’ll help you get Rowen and also established you because I’m very rich, I can make you who you wanna be,” Dora said.

“Something Isn’t clear, do you mean you’re richer than your brother?” Brittany asked.

“Exactly, that’s life for you, here’s my card, In case you’re ready to work with me, because I don’t want a slut for my brother, it’s you I want” Dora replied and Brittany collected the card from her.

“Alright I’ll get back to you,” Brittany said with a smile.

“I’ll be expecting your reply soon,” Dora said and walked to her car.

Brittany put the card in her pocket before walking to the house.

“Don’t near me!” Emma said stopping him with her hand.

“What if I do?” Rowen asks with a smirk.

He moved closer than her and lift her up from the ground.

“So this penthouse belongs to you?” Emma asked.

“No it’s not mine, it belongs to my cousin’s brother, I don’t have any house here” Rowen replied.

“Oh I see, but your father has a house here, countless” Emma said.

“The houses are his not mine” Rowen replied. “I love men like you,” Emma said with a smile and Rowen drop her on the bed.

“Let’s get married then!” Rowen said. “You and who?” Emma asked.

“You and I, of course, Emma wed Rowen, we will be a good couple you know?” Rowen ask.

“I don’t think so” Emma replied.

“Really?” Rowen asks and tickling her.

“Hey stop it!” Emma shouted in between laughter.

“Let me sing for you,” Rowen said. “I thought you brought me here to have s-× with me,” Emma said.

“You like talking dirty, we will do that later, let me entertain you with my voice-first,” Rowen said.

“You can entertain me with your d×¢k you know,” Emma said licking her l-ips.

“You’ll also enjoy my voice,” Rowen said and clear his throat. When you are around, my heart skips.

I ask myself what goes on, why can’t I hear my heartbeat. It’s all because I met you.

“You’re perfect, is there one thing you aren’t good at? I doubt it, permit me to call you Mr perfect your voice is too sweet” Emma said with a smile.

EMMA P.O.V

“I’m flattered!” Rowen replied with a smile like seriously he is too good, he almost blow my mind away.

“You’re good, permit me to add Mr perfect to your name,” I said with a smile.

“I’m not perfect, I compose the song right now for you and you aren’t talking about the song,” he said with a frown.

“That’s because love songs aren’t for me” I replied and yes, I dispersed love songs, since I made up my mind to become a f–ker.

“Why can’t you just free your heart to love?” Rowen ask. “Rowen, let’s talk about something else please” I replied with a frown “Alright I respect your decision,” he said.

“I need you in,side me,” I said.

“Your wish is my command ma!” He replied moving closer to me, now that’s what I need from him, I don’t need him to love me, and I don’t want to fall in love either, love is a distraction, I don’t have strength for unnecessary drama, that will later end in tears.

THE NEXT DAY

“Wakie wakie,” Rowen said and tap the bed gently.

“Is it morning already?” I asked and stood up immediately.

Rowen placed a k!$s on my forehead before smiling at me.

“Hope you slept well?” I asked and I nod my head. “What’s the time?” I asked immediately.

“Past Eight” he replied still laughing. “Goodness, I need to meet Stanley by nine today,” I said and his mood changed immediately.

“Hey I won’t fall in love with him I promise, I’m a businesswoman si this thing is strictly business,” I said and he nod his head. I can tell he isn’t still happy.

“Here’s your breakfast,” he said and placed a tray on my lap. I opened the plate and the aroma hit my nose hærd.

“Aww, I wish I can be waking up beside you every day,” I said before I can control myself, what did I just say.

“You can just move here with me” he replied with a smile.

“Your wish!” I said. “I need to take my bath, enjoy your meal!” He said and peck me on my forehead before walking to the bathroom.

He’s cool, let me eat fast I don’t wanna keep Stanley waiting.

Rowen came out from the bathroom, with water dripping from his body.

“You look dangerously hot, I feel like having you to myself,” Emma said.

“I’m all yours” Rowen replied and Emma’s phone rang out loud.

“Hello, Mr. Stanley I’ll be there in an hour” Emma replied and stood up from the chair.

“Will you move in with him?” Rowen suddenly asks.

“I never can tell, but I can never fall in love with him, but your mind at rest Mr lover boy,” Emma said and placed her palm at Rowen’s chest, and Rowen smiled at her.

“Let me quickly take my bath,” Emma said and rushed to the bathroom.

Rowen walked to the dressing table. He picked the hairdryer from the table and dried his hair with it.

“Wow you’ve dressed up,” Emma said surprised.

“Yes, how do I look?” Rowen ask. “You look breathe taking” Emma replied and Rowen blushed hærd.

“Did you just blush?” Emma asked and Rowen hide his face immediately and Emma burst into laughter.

“Come and have your seat, let me dress you up,” Rowen said and Placed her gently on the dressing chair.

“Wait! What did you do to my face?” Emma asked.

“I did magic my love” Rowen replied. “Oh my goodness! You’re so sweet” Emma said and pick her bag from the bed.

“Let me drop you off, we are both running late,” Emma said.

“Okay, let me help you with your bag,” Rowen said.

“Thank you” Emma replied with an eye roll and rushed out of the room. Rowen breathes out before running after her.

“Bye! Have a nice day” Emma said and waved her hand at Rowen.

Rowen moved closer to her and peck her on her cheek.

“I’ll see you later,” Rowen said.

He met Austin on his way and Austin clear his throat. “I don’t have your time, so leave the way and let me pass,” Rowen said.

“You don’t look good, did your wife leave you?” Austin asked. “What am I even talking about? I’m your only wife and I haven’t left you, I can’t even try it” Austin said.

Episode 28

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“Your cràzy, just leave my way,” Rowen said trying to push him away.

“Do I have to be offended?” Austin asked and does some thinking.

“No I don’t have to, this isn’t the first time you’ll be saying this, anyway how was your night?” Austin asked.

“My night was fine, so can I pass now?” Rowen ask.

“Common, you’re too grumpy, smile, you’re making me feel uncomfortable with your grumpy face, why is your face like this?” Austin asked.

“Long story” Rowen replied with a smile.

“Make it short, you know I don’t like seeing you like this” Austin said.

“I’ll tell you when we get to the house” Rowen replied.

“Oh why can’t you tell me now, you know I’ll be worried,” Austin said.

“Alright let’s go in,side Miss Austin,” Rowen said. “What did you just call me?” Austin asked with a frown. “Miss Austin you heard me loud and clear” Rowen replied with a smirk.

“Why will you add Miss to my name?” Austin’s asked.

“Aren’t you the one that always behaves like a woman?” Rowen ask.

“Common, Mrs will be better, I’m married to you, or are you planning to cheat on me?” Austin asked and Rowen pitifully shake his head.

“Wait! Don’t tell me you’re planning to cheat on me, it won’t work,” Austin shouted.

“Hey remember we are in public, customers will think you’re mad” Rowen replied and walked in,side the restaurant.

“I wonder what’s going on between you and Miss Maxwell,” Bryan said.

“When will you learn to mind your business Mr?” Rowen asks with a smirk.

“I can’t mind my business, because Miss Maxwell isn’t someone you can date, she’s far better and bigger than you,” Bryan said and Rowen left out a cute smile.

“I know, but guess what? She doesn’t mind” Rowen replied and Bryan burst into laughter. “She’s just using you,” Bryan said.

“Yeah, I know thanks for your concern, you can put the energy in your front hair, who knows if it will grow if you start minding your business,” Rowen said and walked to the kitchen and Austin bite back a laugh.

“My wife is right, why can’t you just let Rowen be and mind your business” Austin said.

“Did you realize you’re talking to your boss?” Bryan yelled.

“Where’s the boss?” Austin asked looking around.

“You’re crazy, your days are number in this restaurant,” Bryan said angrily.

“We will kick you out instead because my wife is dating the owner of this restaurant so you’ll be the loser if you don’t take your time,” Austin said.

“How dare you talk back at me!” Bryan yelled. “How dare you disturbing my wife too?” Austin yelled with a smirk.

“Trust me, your days are number in this restaurant,” Bryan said and walked angrily to his office.

“Gosh! Rowan isn’t nice at all, I’m proud of him” Austin said and rushed to the kitchen with a big smile on his face.

“Hey, dude, you really kîll Mr manager morale,” Austin said.

“That guy is a bone in my neck I don’t know what’s problem is,” Rowen said.

“Maybe he loves you,” Austin said.

“You’re always talking out of point, you’re just senseless,” Rowen said.

“Goodness! You insulted me, I won’t cry, I’ve promised not to cry this year” Austin said cleaning his face with his palm.

“Can’t you tell me sorry for hurting me?” Austin’s asked.

Rowen picks a frying pan and hit it hærd on Austin’s head, and Austin falls flatly on the ground.

“I’m deàd,” he said before closing his eyes.

“Sorry for keeping you waiting Mr. Stanley” Emma said with a smile.

“There’s no problem having your seat,” Stanley said pointing to a chair.

“You look beautiful this morning,” Stanley said with a smile.

“What did you mean? Did you mean I’m not beautiful before?” Emma asked.

“Common, I’m sorry if I hurt you, I mean you look more beautiful today, more beautiful than before, you’re a beautiful woman Emma and I admire you alot, because you’re hærdworking, outstanding, and also beautiful,” Stanley said with a smile.

“Alright, let’s get down to business Mr. Stanley,” Emma said.

“You can simply call me Stanley” Stanley replied.

“Are you sure?” Emma asked and Stanley nod his head.

“Okay did you’ve any rules, because I’ve agreed to be your contract fiance for the two months,” Emma said and Stanley stand up from his seat? He moved closer to Emma and hug her to himself unaware.

And Emma pushed him slightly from herself. “I’m very sorry, I was happy, thank you for considering me,” Stanley said smiling sheepishly.

“Back to my question, did you’ve any rules?” Emma asked again.

“No I don’t, I’m okay with anything you do, but you’ll be going with me to a business meeting, on Monday, and you’ll also come to our family house for dinner tomorrow,” Stanley said smiling.

“Good I’ve rules,” Emma said and Stanley nod his head.

“Number one, you’ve said it early no intimacy, this is strictly business, number two I can have my time, you won’t order me around, number Three, if we have any occasion to go together, you’ll tell me before the time, number four, no falling in love because I have a boyfriend,” Emma said.

“Boyfriend? I thought you’re single” Stanley said.

“Yes I’m single before, but not anymore, don’t worry my boyfriend won’t disturb the business, are you satisfied?” Emma asked.

“I’m satisfied with anything,” Stanley said with a smile.

“Give me some minutes, I need to call my lawyer,” Emma said.

“Lawyer, what’s that for?” Stanley asked.

“To write my rules and also give you your own copy, I don’t want a situation where you’ll fall in love with me,” Emma said.

“Alright” Stanley replied scratching the back of his head.

“I’m very sorry for coming to too late Miss Maxwell,” the lawyer said with a smile.

“No problem, you can have your seat,” Emma said and point to a chair.

“thank you Miss Maxwell” the lawyer replied. “Here’s my business partner,” Emma said and the lawyer nodded his head.

“is that all?” The lawyer asked after Emma explained everything to him.

“Yes that’s all” Emma replied.

“We can start the contract now right?” Stanley asked.

“Sure, we are already a fake couple” Emma replied, and the lawyer smiled.

“I’ll take my leave now Miss Maxwell,” The lawyer said.

“Alright I’ll see you some other times” Emma replied.

“Should I drop you off at your house?” Stanley asked.

“No, I came with my car” Emma replied.

EMMA P.O.V

You might be wondering how I get my car since I went out with Rowen yesterday with his bike, I called my driver to bring the car, I can’t risk my life again.

“Alright, I’ll give you a call later, and don’t forget about the dinner,” He said.

“Alright bye!” I replied and walked to where I parked my car.

Like I told him I’ve a boyfriend just because I don’t wanna hurt Rowen, I don’t know why, seeing his face this morning want me to change my mind about the contract stuff, but this is business and men aren’t to be trusted.

“I’m confused!” I said out loud hitting my hands on the car staring.

Maybe, just maybe I’ll minimize how I see him, but is that a good thing? he will feel hurt and I don’t want that. I need to go to the house, Brittany and Nadia will be so worried about me I’ve not been picking there calls.

I parked my car at the garage and I also saw Brittany and Nadia coming out of the house.

A card falls down from her hand and she quickly picks it up.

That’s a business card I guess.

“Brittany where did you get the card from?” I asked.

“Someone is here to see you!” Bryan said to Rowen.

“Who is that?” Rowen ask.

“You’ll see the person when you get outside” Bryan replied and walked away.

“Arrogant f00l,” Rowen said before walking out of the kitchen.
