Did he just slammed the door on my face. At least he would’ve hear me out before doing that.

I was about knocking again when he opened the door and put a smile of his face. I can’t tell if the smile was faux or real because not quite long he had a annoyed face and now this face.

” Come in bae ” he said and i went in,side.

” You must have a hectic day,let me get you some glass of chilled strawberry juice ” he said and went into the kitchen.

He’s not mad at me anymore. Maybe he had a change of mind. Since he concluded that I had a hectic day meaning that he understood that me not showing up for the date was not my fault. I sighed in relief and smiled to myself as I found comfort in one of his cozy sofa.

” Here bae ” he handled over the juice to me and peck me on the cheek before seating down next to me.

I gulped down the entire glass. Gosh I’m damn tasty and I need more of this chilled juice. Walt understood and took the glass from me.

” Should I get you another glass ”

” Don’t worry I’ll get it myself ” I said,I got up and was about taking the glass from him when he urge me to seat back down.

” No I’ll get it for you ” he insisted.

I was about saying no again when he shut my mouth with his finger.

” No sweetheart ” he said and that worked.

He got up and when he came back he came with the pack of strawberry juice in a tray and with the glass and place it on the small table in the parlour.

He’s just been caring ,I know for sure he can’t be mad at me for a long time.

” Am sorry for slamming the door on you,am really sorry ” he apologized dragging his ears playfully and I chuckled.

” Is fine . You did that out of anger. Even me can get angry like that too if I was in your shoes ” I smiled bluntly.

” Well is alright. Am sure you’ll meet up next time ,but for now am fine with it ” he smiled.

Should I tell him the reason why i wasn’t able to come. No, I don’t think is a good idea of informing Walt. I know haven’t been telling him anything about sir Arthur.

Walt can ask me to leave that job if he finds out and I can’t afford to loose that job. Is not as if I can leave anyway I had already sigh a contract with him and it will expire in two months time. And beside if I eventually leave the job it will probably take months or God knows when I’ll get another that can pay like that one.

I’ll have to tolerate his irritating attitude as long at it last and I hope it won’t have a bad impact on my realtionsh¡p with Walt.

I’d notice Walt change of mood and I furrowed my brow.

” What’s wrong while the change of face all of a sudden? ” I said ruffing his hair.

He’d sighed before speaking.

” I want to ask you for fifty thousand,you see i need to put my store in order. The roofs are leaking and I need to put somethings in the store into shape” he said looking at me.

” I don’t have that kind of money now ” I told him and then he look away.

” Are you upset? ” I asked a bit surprised.

How can he be upset with me not giving him money have been giving him whenever he ask for help and now he’s upset.

” Why should I ” he said, pretending to hide the fact he was upset.

” Okay fine am upset,not with you. But am upset with myself that I can’t even afford that money for the time being ” he said with a faux smile.

I inhaled and exhaled before speaking.

” I’ll try get the money for you. Please don’t be upset ” I said soothingly and he smiled.

” That’s why I love you, you’re always there for me ” he said and pecked me on the l-ips and then he stood up.

” Are you hungry should I get you some dess**t ” he said and I nodded.

I don’t understand how he keeps needing cash all the time for this and that. Anyway the money are use for important things and lovers look at for each other. I should just trust him,he’ll never do anything wrong.

And finishing the chicken bog which he feed me rom-ntically. I stood up and told him I’ll be on my way.

He esc-rted me outside and board a cab for me and then k-ss me on the cheek. I peck him too and then enter the cab.

I got home and alighted ,pay the cabman and went to my home.

When I’d walk closer i could hear loud noise coming from the in,side.

Jasper is playing the music so loud. I clenched my jaw and my fist this brother of mine will surely get me in trouble in this neighborhood.

Stupid boy, I mutter an oath under my breath.

I was about going in,side I was confronted by my neighbor Mrs Kate. She had an angry face as she approach me.

” Your brother is disturbing the wh0le neighborhood. If you don’t try stop him I’ll bring in the cops they’ll do better ” she warned angrily and left.

That trigger more anger in me. What the hell make him play such loud music. Am gonna teach him a lesson.

I scurry angrily to the door porch and then rang the doorbell. No response,I call out his name,still no response.

I decided to take the back door. Luckily the back door was open.

I went in and meant Jasper two of his friends and three female dancing.

What the heck, he brought girls in my home. I felt the anger simmering in my vain increased.

They were so intense in their dance that they didn’t notice me. I took the remote from the couch and switch off the music.

” Out all of you ” I yelled and they flinched. When I tell I tend to be deadly scary when angry.

They flew away one by one. I could see Jasper shaking already ,he seems to be swallowing something stuck his throat well that indicate he is scared. He have to because am mad am seriously mad.

I move to him with such speed that he barely have the time to run. I took one of his ears and squeeze it.

” Ouch sister it hurt ” he cried ,trying to free my hands. Am not not ready to let go.

” What’s is this ,first the loud music and then you didn’t only bring your good for nothing friends to create nuisance everywhere. You brought random girls to my home ” I spat out irritatedly.

” Ouch ” I still had my hand on his ear.

I let go of it and he gro-ned.

” My friends ain’t good for nothing and those girls ain’t random girls they’re my class mates ” he retorted.

” They’re all dress like slut and I could see them swinging their asses at the three of you ” I said peevishly.

” When will you learn to be responsible. Do you wanna encounter the cops the second time. Having a criminal record at this age is definitely gonna ruining you in the future. You’ve to think of your future am working hærd so you’ll have a bright future and you’re wasting your life with this stupid lifestyle ” I bit out.

” I don’t need this lecture right now. You are always on ,on what you’re doing for me. You won’t let me enjoy my life ,damn it ” he snap and walk away through the stairs.

” I’ll always keep reminding you of what I do for you,until you learn to be responsible ” I fired at his back.

He didn’t look back but increase his walking speed.

I drop down to the couch and then tears strolled down my cheeks. If only he would understand what am doing for him. I don’t know why I don’t have a considering brother. How’ll I make him understand that he shouldn’t waste his life. He’s my only family ,after uncle Jay my mum’s brother death have taking it upon myself to take care of him. Don’t want am only family to be irresponsible. He keeps meeting bad influence every day and this have affect him in so many area.

He don’t focus on his studies,gets into problem with the school authorities,always in detention. Damn it how am I gonna correct his ways.

I woke up the next morning with a gnawing pain in my head and I was feeling a bit weak.

I think am sick and I won’t be able to go to work today. I have to phone my work place and of course the manager not that annoying CEO. He mightn’t grant my request.

📞 ” Hello sir ”

📞 ” Hello Karina ”

📞 ” Sir i call to inform you that i won’t be in work today. I woke up a bit sick today can you please grant me a leave for today ” I request politely.

📞 ” Okay ,am make sure to take proper medications. The company needs a good secretary like you,take proper care of your health and i wish you a quick recovering ” he said.

📞 ” Thank you sir , you’re so kind ” I smiled faintly. He’s kinda nice and understanding unlike sir Arthur so bossy and arrogant.

📞 ” Is alright. Just take care of your health ” he said and then hang up.

I slept back the pain of in my head really ache badly ,but somehow I mange to get up.

Quite strange I didn’t receive any message for Walt today. I sighed and relax maybe something came up. I decided to text him instead ,but excluding the part that am sick don’t wanna bother him. But the msg didn’t go,it seems his phone is switch off.

After freshen up i went downstairs to prepare breakfast.

” You look pale ” he said as i place the omelette on his table.

” Am sick ” I said.

” You also need to take care of your health ,should I stay behind for you ” he said a bit concern.

Jas is not all that bad ,he also got a good qualities i can see the care he have for me. He only have that care when am sick at least he’ll be of use when am sick.

Jas offer to drop the dishes. Am happy to have him in this caring mood. I’ll only have this care side of him when i fall sick again,no I don’t wanna fall sick again.

I think i need to visit the bathroom because my tummy just rumbled and a nausea. I quickly ran to the bathroom and then vomited.

When I came down my eyes almost budge out of the socket when i saw my boss Arthur in the sitting room.

What the heck.

Why is he here

The stalker wouldn’t leave me alone.
