Lucy walked into their one room apartment and met their mother Mrs Nancy packing some clothes into a poly bag nylon sweating, ”mama! why are u packing our clothes in,side a nylon? are we traveling? Lucy the youngest daughter out of two curiously asked ”hmmmm!! my daughter where is ur elder sister Kate? Mrs Nancy asked with a worried expression on her face ”kate may be with her friends or so! mama are u ok? this one ur face is like this, pls talk to me”, lucy said
”my daughter am not ok o! eversince ur father my husband died,things has never been easy for me, to feed In this house is a problem, so I can’t take it anymore,I have no choice than to pack few of our clothes so we can go to my younger brother’s house to stay for sometimes before we die of starvation here”,Mrs Nancy finally said ”hahahaha! mama u will not kill me with laugh! ur brother u know very well is not that buoyant,u wants us to go there? have ur brother see food to eat talk more of feeding another mouth? three more mouth for that matter! mama think na! haba”,Lucy said still laughing ”so u prefer we die of starving here right? it won’t work for u! when tommorow comes,if am going, if u and ur sister don’t want to come with me,u both can stay”, Mrs Nancy said still packing the clothes, while Lucy was seen smiling at her mother.

As Mrs Nancy was still packing the clothes, the door flunged opened and Kate (Mrs Nancy elder daughter) walked in ”oh my God! mama wat is happening here? why packing our clothes in,side a nylon?Kate asked confusedly but got no response from Mrs Nancy ‘mama said we are going to Uncle phi house to stay for sometime before we die of starvation here”,Lucy replied smiling
”haba mama! as it gotten to that level? we are going to ur brother’s house, a man that is not financially stable, a man that barely can’t feeds his family? aaah mama! why do u enjoy disgracing us all the time? Kate angrily asked ”my friend will u shut up that ur rotten mouth before I shut it up for u!! u are here blabbing while all ur mates are busy working hærd and feeding their family,.. eversince u both finish secondary School, wat have u been doing? all u are good at is, am going to my friend’s place o, am going to my friend’s place o! nonsense? let me hear any more words from the both of u,..u will see wat I will do to u, nonsense”, Mrs Nancy yelled ” but mama I told u to have patient with me, I will soon have a job! chill mama”,Kate said ”u will soon have a job? that is wat u have been telling me since the past two years now! pls u people should not worry my life! all I know is that tommorow morning we are going to my younger brother’s house to stay for sometime and that is final’,Mrs Nancy said and walked out of the room.

Later that same day night,as Mrs Nancy and her two daughters were sleeping, when armbed robbers broke into their house and asked them to lied down flat which they did, ”bring all the money u have in this house? one of the robber said pointing his gun at them ”pls there is no money in this house I swear! pls don’t kill us”,Mrs Nancy panicked
”shut up ur mouth u liar! stango search the wh0le house”, the robber said refferring to the other robber, after the thoroughly searching,but couldn’t see a pin talk more of money,this got them angry as one of the robber dragged Kate out and pushed her to the bed, then he started unzipping his trouble, ”wat do u want to do to my daughter? Mrs Nancy panicked ”as u can see, we will both enjoy ourselves since there is no money in this house,..so this ur beautiful daughter here will pay for it”,the robber said as the other robber smiled devilishly and touching his hærd duck
”pls I beg u people, don’t rape me pls am still a V-rgin”, Kate pleaded crying seriously ”u are a V-rgin? wow that makes it more interesting”,the robber said and forcefully spread Kate’s legs wide as she scre-med, so Mrs Nancy ran up to the robber who was about to rape her daughter and she angrily pushed him, out of anger the robber shot her on the head as she fell down and died instantly,..
after everything, the two robbers finally succeeded in rapping Kate, before eloping out of the house.

Immediately the two robbers flew away, Lucy ran up to her mother who was lying dead on the ground on her own pool of blood,..Lucy started shaking and calling her but too bad she was longed gone, Kate on the other hand was lying helplessly on the bed feeling too much pain on her v area after the rape, she couldn’t move her legs due to the pains she was feeling,..she just stood on the bed shedding uncontrollable tears for her dear mother who lost her life when she was trying to protect her,…
”mama pls open ur eyes, pls don’t do this to us ur children”, Lucy cried shaking and calling her mother who was lying dead on the ground, ”mamaaaaa”, Kate scre-med while still lying on the bed ”mama pls wake up I beg u”,Lucy said and put her head on her mother’s chest crying bitterly ”mamaaaa”,Kate cried,and managed to get down from the bed but her legs failed her due to the serious Pain she was having In her v.area, so Lucy ran out in that middle of the night,to call the neighbors but they were all asleep, so she ran back in,side crying seriously.

The following day morning, the wh0le neighbors all gathered at Mrs Nancy’s house consoling her two daughters after they heard of the sad news ”chai! this is indeed a very sad news! I heard a gun shot last night,I actually thought the gunshots was from the street,but I never knew it was from this our very own compound! chai! Mrs Nancy! it shall never be well with those robbers!! aaaah!! one of the neighbors sadly said ”my children pls u girls should just take heart,..so sorry for ur loss! aaaah those robbers don’t have conscience at all, they shot Mrs Nancy and still rape her daughter! hmmm! this life no balance at all”, another neighbor ch¡pped in.

After everything,Mrs Nancy was later buried in a small way due to lack of money,..hmm too bad.
after that horrible night,Kate vowed never to have anything to do with men that they are all the same.
Kate later changed from the good and nice kate to a demon and a Jezebel.

Two weeks later,.. Lucy was seen shouting at Kate ”for Godsake Kate u re not getting any younger! why do u keep rejecting all the young men coming to ur hand In marriage? Kate pls I want u to come back to ur normal self,..I know u feel hurt towards wat happened that night,..pls just let that walked away and face reality,..u are destroying ur life with that, pls my dear sis don’t use the past to kill ur present plss”, Lucy advise ”can u hear urself out? telling me to forget the past and face reality,.. for Godsake Lucy, mama died at the process,..I was raped at the process,..and u are here telling me to forget the past, are u that hatred? or maybe because u were not the one who was raped,..that is why u are saying all this rubbish,..I don’t blame u! as long as I live,I will never have anything to do with men,..I will forever hate them,..so if u are interested,u can go ahead and marry all those rapist that are coming in my hand for marriage”,Kate said ”do not say I did not warn u”, Lucy said ”pls get lost,..I never asked for ur opi… “, as Kate was about to complete her statement, she ran out to throw up ”oh God wat is happening to me? Kate said to no one in particular.
