Venessa POV 💄
“Of course yes, you brought it along side with you.” I heard that voice which belongs to Mia.
I quickly turn around to where the voice is coming from inorder to check if it’s my imagination or the reality.
Josh, Scott, Jake, Mia, Alice, Mia and Alice parent, Scott parents, Josh parents, Jake parent and another lady alongside her parent walk into our sitting room.
I gaps in shock and Surprise as tears roll down my face.
Then I walk towards them.
I started checking the boys out before going down to my one and only best friend.
I checked her out to see if there’s any cut, stiches or scar but found non.
It was like they weren’t bitten or didn’t even die nor do a scratch touch them.
I then pulled them in a group hug letting my tears down not minding am going to stain their dresses.
“Am sorry I couldn’t save you guys, I failed you guys. ”
I said sniffing in my tears that wanted to come down.
“You know how much I missed you guys, I much I have been feeling with you people gone. “I added.
” You shouldn’t be sorry. Ven, we should be the one sorry because we failed you. “Mia said.
” We couldn’t save you from them. “Josh added making me shake my head negativity.
I should be the one to say sorry because I couldn’t do anything to save them from been killed.
What am I even saying? They were killed right in front of me and I confirmed it.
Then what are they doing still alive talking just like a living human dose.
Don’t get me wrong, am happy that they are alive but how come?
How did they do it? I even notice something else, they are cold so was my parent when they touched me.
I thought moving away from them till my back hit the wall.
“Venessa, it’s just a dream. Don’t let it get to you. Your parents aren’t cold, you are just over thinking.
There aren’t vampire! “I yelled before dropping to the ground while closing my eyes.
“We are all vampires.” I heard Alice says for the first time she get here.
Meaning what what my mom just explained to me is the truth, am a vampire!
“Why?” I asked looking at Everyone with tears rolling down my face.
Like I don’t know why they all kept all these from me and how they successfully kept it.
“How did you do it that I didn’t even know am living with vampires.
And how I don’t know I am a vampire mated to a vampire crown prince who will soon be a king? ”
I asked looking at them.
” Well, my parent and yours created an illusion of this place where you live till we find out who. ”
Mia’s mom explained making me look at them like they just said something I don’t understand.
“Find out who what?” I asked.
“Who has been sending those messages to your parent and the person that want you dead. ”
Mia’s dad explained.
” That place, you were meant to be kept away from Ryan and the woman.”
My mom said making me snap angrily.
“How would you think of hiding me from him!
Do you know how much happiness I must have missed not been with him since all these years!”
I yelled angrily making tears roll out of my eyes.
” Don’t tell me she has mated.” Mia asked and I nodded looking away.
Of course, I was somehow embraced but not as much as I thought I would feel.
She walks up to me and place her hands on my just to clam me.
“How dose it work with you guys with me?” I asked cleaning my tears.
” Well, whenever you See us, you are out of the illusion but when you are alone, you are in the illusion.
You are in the illusion we created for you. In that place, it will be so slow unlike in this reality.
I mean a week here is just like a day in the world you are.
Like am saying now, you and Mia is 100 years old but in the illusion you are, you just 21 years old. ”
Josh said making my jaw drop down in shock and Surprise.
Like what the hell? No wonder I do feel some how when am with them.
And when I am away from them, I do feel that the day is always slow.
“So am I still living there or am not?” I asked confused.
” No you aren’t. “Scott answered.
*Why am I not and Scott where you serious about your feelings for me cause I can’t reprocate it. ”
I said the last part quietly and quickly not to hurt him and his feelings.
“No am not, I was meant to play along like someone who loves you.”
Scott answered making me shocked and speechless.
“You mean you weren’t? What if I fall for you along the line.? “I asked.
” You can’t cause am already mated and your heart have always belong to Ryan even before you met him.”
He said making me look at him like he has suddenly grown an extra head.
This vampire of a thing looks so complicated to me.
“You mean you are mated?” I asked.
“Not only him but all of us. “Jake said holding Mia’s hand while looking at her with so much love.
Same as Scott who was holding Alice and Josh was holding the strange girl.
Like seriously? I didn’t even notice anything aside for Mia who always show little affection sometimes…

Venessa POV 💄
“Well, I will say congratulations to you guys but I still have a question. ”
I said making all of them look at me with the look that says really venessa?
“Sorry to spoil your romantic and love trance.” I said before walking towards my parent.
Then I sat in between my parent before telling all of them to have their sit.
“Back to my question, you said I stopped living in the illusion of this Earth you created right? ”
I said in a questioning manner and they all nodded.
“When did I stop living there and how did I stop living there because I didn’t notice any changes? ”
I asked
Because that’s the question I have been willing and wanting to ask since.
“You stopped living there when you met with your mate.”
My dad answered making me look at him with confusion and surprise written on my face.
Like how did he know I have met with Ryan before I was kidnapped.
“How did you know? Am sure I didn’t tell any of you guys I met him.” I said blushing.
“Well, me and your dad knew something was up and his scent lingers on you that day you came back home. ”
My mom said making me turn all red, I don’t think I can keep any secret from them.
“Although I had to taste some of your blood from your wrist so that I can check your memories of him.
I was thinking you have mated with out telling us. “My dad said making me gaps.
How can he say such? I thought wishing he wasn’t my dad, I would have spank him really hard.
“That’s why the memories he thought he erase came back but not as clear as it happened. ”
He said Making me realize and know the reason behind those memories.
“So what you just explain is how and when I stop living in the illusion of Earth you created for me? ”
I asked and they nodded positively meaning it’s a Yes and I am right.
“Another question, how did you guys escape. I mean how did you do it that you are still living.
Don’t get me wrong, am happy you are still. Living but what magic did you guys use? “I
asked not knowing what question to ask or how to put my sentence together to make the question I want.
“Well, knowing he already met you, we are all meant to keep you safe with us.
So that she won’t bother you and you wouldn’t know anything is happening.
Neither would you smell anything fishy about us. “Jake explained.
” Wait, you mean that day we left for the mission, you knew something was coming for me? ”
I asked trying hard not to loose my temper because I was fooled by them.
Neither do they know how bad I was feeling for lossing them.
I was about lossing my saintly because I thought they were Dead.
Thinking I failed them by not keeping them safe .
For days, I wake up with tears and sleep with tears thinking they were really gone.
And I wouldn’t be able to meet or see someone, friends as great as they were to me.
Why can’t they show their true self when they were about dying.
“Why didn’t you show your true self when you were dying?” I asked looking at them.
” We couldn’t because you will freck out. We pretended to be weak so that Mia can get you out of the place.
But she didn’t do what she was meant to do but you did it by taking her out.
And it was because she sensed Jake was wounded that’s why she couldn’t do the job she filled in for.
And you know how she would feel if her equal is in pain or danger.”
Josh explained making me nod in realisation. No wonder she was staring at the back.
No wonder she was mentioning Jake name even when she is at the point of dying.
“You said she was meant to do her job, what job? Who employed you to do it?” I asked.
“We were made to follow the next vampire queen which is you even if it’s at the point of dying.
And we were employed by the late vampire queen. “Josh said.
” You can continue with how you escape. “I said. I can’t believe Ryan mother can do this for me.
” When we were done fighting off those Vampires in the restaurant, you were already gone. ”
Josh continued looking a bit sad.
“We only saw Mia half Dead calling the name venessa before she black out.
Jake was at the point of losing it when he found out his mate almost dead.
I tried looking for you but found nothing except the trail of your blood.
Tasting the blood, I found out you were already in the kingdom inside the cell where they do keep people from blood bag. ”
Scott said making me clean the tears that were rolling down my face.
“We couldn’t get you out of there knowing if we sneak into the kingdom, it will raise different suspicious news about you.
Especially you been Ryan’s mate. And she will finally come after you. “Scott paused.
I can’t believe they can put their live in line just for me.
With what they went through just to keep me save, I don’t think I can stay mad at them…
