😒Nikita’s Point of View👯

I sat on the couch waiting for Dominic to come downstairs.

I should be upstairs ,helping him get ready but I did not do that, he needs to know that “to err is human,to forgive is define”

He came downstairs prepared for work and came towards me.

He bent low in front of me and took my hand in his.

“Why didn’t you help me get ready?” He asked and i rolled my eyes

“At least I arranged your clothes” I replied.

“You know i don’t like this silent maltreation from you. It’s making me to crazy ” He said and I said nothing.

“You need to understand that I can’t forgive her” He said again.

“Neither am I forcing you anymore” I finally said.

“But it’s obvious you’re mad at me” he twitched his mouth cynically.

“I am not” I said bluntly.

“You are, you slept earlier yesterday..”

“Shouldn’t I sleep?” I cut him short.

“Not like that….. you slept immediately after our discussion” He said.

“You left me alone in our room, were you expecting me to be speaking to the wall?” I queried and he shook his head.

“Okay,I’m sorry ” He whispered.

“Sure, you should be. I’ve packed your lunchbox in your car” I said as i stood up walking towards the dining table

“Here is a cup of Coffee” I said as he collected it from me with the slices of bread.

“Thank you sweetheart” He said a few minutes later, Dropping the cup on the table.

He prepared to walk outside and I followed.

“Take care of your self darling….. and our baby” He said and I smiled a little.

“I sure will” i replied.

“And…. if you’re craving for anything,give me a call,I will get it right away” He said and I giggled.

“How about hiring a maid for you?” He asked and i laughed.

“So you’re gonna fall in love with her like it happened to us?” I asked and he laughed back.

“You sure have a bad mind” he said pulling my ear slightly.

“Thank you,I know i do. Those tiny girls should snatch my husband,right?” I said and he shook his head .

He k-ssed my l-ips then hugged me.

“Take care darling ” He said, finally entering the car.

I kept waving at him till he drove out of the compound.

Now…. Time to execute my plans

I wore a big gown to avoid people noticing I’m pregnant and packed my hair In ponytail.

I packed my car In front of her gate and knocked the big gate hærdly.

“I’m coming” I heard her voice and stepped back a little.

“My child” Dominic’s mother said and hugged me.

“Good afternoon Mum” I said and hugged her back.

“I didn’t know you were coming,I would have prepared something for you ” She said and I smiled.

“It’s okay ma”

“What will you eat? I’ll prepare it right away” She asked and i shook my head.

“I’m okay, I’ll let you know when I’m hungry” I said and she nodded her head

“So,What brought you here? Has Dominic forgiven me?” She asked, nervously.

“No mum,but I have an idea” I said and she smiled as tears laced in her eyes.

“My child, I don’t want you to have problems in your marital life because of me. Just let everything slide. But you just have to promise me one thing” she said and i shook my head.

“If I’m still alive when you give birth,please bring your child to Visit me. Promise me” she said and i smiled.

“Are you done?” I asked and she furrowed her brow then nodded.

“Now,let me speak. We’re gonna go in there and pack your clothes. Everything. Then, I’m taking you to our house” I said and she gasped.

“No no no child. Let’s not go to that extent. The last thing I want is seeing my son insult me” She said

“That’s not like Dominic. He us never gonna insult his own mother. Trust me”

I said and she shook her head

“He will, child” she said.

“He might not have forgiven you but he would never insult you. I promise you” I said and she stared at me,Misery written all over her eyes.

I heard the Creaking sound of the gate and then i knew Dominic is back.

Quite early

I muttered.

“Hey baby” I said rushing towards him as he entered the Mansion.

“How are you sweetheart ” He said as i threw my self at him then bit his ear lightly.

“Ouch” He whispered in my ear and i laughed.

I followed him to our room and helped him pull off his clothes.

I sat on the bed as he went to take a shower.

Few minutes later

I saw my husband coming out of the bathroom with water dripping from his hair and with towel tied to his wa-ist.

Holy mother f-cker!

“Stop drooling darling….You’re gonna fall in love with me again” He said and I laughed

”I’ll set the table, Meet me in the dining” i said walking out of the room.

“This food tastes different, you cooked it?” He asked and i smiled at him.

“It’s your mouth honey, just eat your food ” i said and he nodded his head.

I finished my food and watch him struggling to finish his.

“Why did you slice onion to the Stew?” He asked and i bit my lower l-ips.

“Oh damn it ! I didn’t tell mum not to slice onion in the food” i soliloquized.

“I’m sorry….. I forgot” i said and he nodded.

He finished his food and i prepared to pack the dishes when he stopped me.

“I will do it don’t stress your self ” He said and I smiled.

I arranged the table and left the dining table.

“When will you stop watching this TV show?” He asked and i smiled.

“I’m gonna watch it till the end. I hate this Girl with passion” I furrowed my brow.

“Which girl?”

“Archie…… she’s killed mehek and now she’s planning on taking over Shaurya” I said and he hissed.

“It’s just a movie dear”

“But Mehek is dead now!” I yelled and he stared at me.

“Lest I forget…… i have a surprise for you ” i said and he smiled.

“Tell me… i mean,show me” He said.

“Close your eyes for five minutes,i need to get it upstairs” I said and he pouted.

“Five minutes! Okay…. make it snappy ” He said .

I rushed to one of the other rooms in the Mansion.

“Tada!” I yelled as I watch the smile across his face fading.

He stared at me then at his mother.

He stood up and walked towards me and dragged me along.

“Slowly….. I’m gonna fall” I whispered.

“What was that?” He asked, His face unreadable.

“What was what…. that’s your mother! ” I half yelled .

“Why did you bring her here?” He asked.

“I told you yesterday, if you refuse to forgive your mum,you won’t like my next move” i replied.

“What’s your business about this. This is about me. Why did you have to do this? ” He half yelled.

“You are my husband and that woman is my mother in law. You are my business. And, the food we ate earliar,your mum made it” I said and he ran his hand through his hair.

“Will you just stop calling her my mum! And why did she have to prepare my Food! ?” He asked.

”I……”

“It’s okay child,I knew me being here was gonna cause problem. I’ll never come back” She said and turned to leave

“If she leave…. I’m going with her. Make your decision ” I said and he w¡dened his eyes in shock.

“Nikita!” He half yelled.

”Yes!” I replied and turned to leave .

”Okay wait. I can tolerate that much because of you ” he said and i smiled .

😒Dominic’s Point of view😋

“I’m so sorry my child ” She said and i nodded.

“It’s okay, I….”

Then she coughed, she brought out out white handkerchief and coughed more h-rder in it

Nikita rushed to get water,

“Sorry mum” Nikita said.

“Mum!” I rushed at her on seeing blood in the handkerchief.

“You called me mum?” She whispered and I pulled her in a hug.

Then I remembered Nikita’s word…..

“Baby,just one hug. …. just give her one hug and your hatred will melt. I swear”

“I’m sorry I gave you problems” I whispered.

“Now,I can die peacefully” She said and I wiped the tears I didn’t know was there.

”You’re not gonna die, I’m gonna get you treated. I will fly you to India to get the best treatment if they can’t get you treated here. I promise you ” I said and she smiled.

“Don’t spend any money on me for treatments. You’re gonna be a father soon,you know? Spend it on your wife and your unborn child. Your forgiveness matter most” She said and smiled.

“But…..”

“Don’t worry,I won’t die now” she said and she laughed .

I stared at Nikita who was getting moody.

“Thank you darling” I said to her and she winked at me.

“Thank you child” My mum said to her and pulled her into a hug then pulled me closer too.

“I love you,Mother….. I love you Wifey” I whispered as I let the tears in my eyes flow freely.

🌎Seven months later🌕

“You keep craving for burnt toast everyday. When is this gonna end?” Dominic said,obviously frustrated.

“You wanna know?” Nikita queried.

“Yeah. I really wanna know!”

“Kill our baby” She said as she shot him a dead stare.

Dominic stared at her then smiled a little.

“Okay…. I’m sorry baby” Dominic said moving closer to her.

“Don’t move any closer. Just go back!” Nikita shouted moving backward.

“When will you guys stop nagging?” Dominic’s mum ,Margaret said interrupting them.

“Mum…. your son keeps shouting at me. It’s not my fault I’m craving for all of that anyways! He just keep shouting!Shouting!Shouting! Like I am the cause of his problems! ” Nikita yelled and walked away angrily.

“I’m sorry sweetie” Dominic shouted preparing to run after her when his mum stopped him.

“There is something you don’t know my son. Some women tends to misbehave when pregnant. When I was pregnant with you, I cry A lot. Like…. I was so emotional. My husband,your dad dare not kill c*ckroaches in my presence cause I’m gonna cry. That’s how some women are during pregnancy . Some Women crave for food that are not even made in restaurants. Your wife,you should be used to her already, She nags a lot and crave for Burnt toast! You should not nag with her when she nag at you. Just pet her and let her have her way. She’s close to delivery,don’t let her be sad. Please” Mrs Margaret said and Dominic nodded then hugged her.

“Go. Go and pet her” She said and Dominic smiled then finally went to meet Nikita.

I placed my head on my Husband’s th-gh as I listened with keen interest as he was reading a novel loudly to me.

“I hope he get there on time to save her” I interrupted him.

“She’s gonna die. She’s been poisoned you know? She would be stabbed too” He said and I furrowed my brow.

“Must she die!? I really hate stories with tragedy. You know what…. stop reading it now! ” I Half yelled.

“Okay….. should I bring another one?” He asked.

“No! I’m not interested anymore” I said fuming with Anger.

“Chill baby, I……”

Then Mum pushed the door opened which made him stopped abruptly.

“D…dominic” She said faintly and we rushed out of the bed.

“What’s wrong mum?” I asked,obviously tensed.

She coughed h-rder then started spitting blood.

“Nikita. .. get water” Dominic shouted and I rushed to get water and gave her but she rejected it.

“Mum just drink a little ” I said,crying.

“Car keys….. let’s take her to the hospital ” Dominic said and I prepared to stand up but she stopped me.

“Wait. I’m fine” She said faintly.

“Mum you’re not fine! You are not! ” I yelled.

She took my right hand slowly in hers and k-ssed it gently then she took Dominic’s hand in her other hand and k-ssed it.

“I pray you two will always be happy, Promise me one thing” she said in a whisper

“What is that ?” Dominic and I chorused.

“When you deliver your baby , please bring her to visit me……” She said then coughed again.

“B….ut Where. We’re gonna take care of her together. We’re bringing her nowhere” I said and she smiled faintly.

Her face getting pale and her l-ips becoming blue.

“I’m sorry… I can’t babysit your baby. I’m so so…sorry” She said In a whisper.

“Nothing is gonna happen mum,you will be fine” Dominic cried.

“I….I love you….. my children. Dominic, be a good husband and…… Father. Nikita, be a good mother…. and wife. Just…..” She couldn’t say the rest before she went silent.

“Mum… Look at me!” Dominic cried and I cried too.

“Nooooooo!!” He shouted and I pull him into a hug.

“It’s okay” I cried….. petting him.

“My mum is dead!? No…. no! No! I love her so much” Dominic cried.

“But God love her more” I said….. Wiping my tears.

I sat on the bed furiously fuming in anger…. I just had a fight with Dominic….

He keep acting like I am the cause of his problems…….

I felt my body acting wierd and I stood up from the bed when I felt water running down my th-gh.

“Oops….. I think my water just broke, but I’m fine…. yeah…. No!!! Dominic! ” I scre-med.

“Dominic!!!” I scre-med again,this time louder.

“What is wrong…. oh shit ” He whispered and I furrowed my brow.

“My water has broken!!!!!!!!! I’ll kill you!!!!” I shouted and he panicked.

“My clothes are small for me honey ” Nikita pouted trying her clothes on.

“But you’re losing your weight already. And you’re getting more prettier ” Dominic winked at her and I smiled.

“Yeah…. I know. We should have placed a bet the last time” Nikita said and walked towards Dominic then sat on his lap.

“On what?” Dominic asked.

“You said you wanted a Female….. but we have a Male” Nikita said and laughed.

“Yeah….. I’m happy happy we didn’t ” He laughed back.

“Thank you baby,for making me a father” he smiled and pull her into a hug.

He wanted to k-ss her when Their baby scre-med…… crying .

“Killer joy ”

Dominic muttered and they laughed.

“Tada!” Pius,Jasper,Mirabelle and Yvonne, Pius’ wife barged in.

“Try knocking next time. What if we’re busy” Dominic said and they laughed.

“Busy with??? Eric? Or Nikita??” Mirabelle Winked at Dominic and Nikita blushed.

“Seeeeeee!!.. she blushed” Yvonne scre-med.

“I have a good news guys” Mirabelle said and Smiled a little.

“What…..?” They all chorused.

“I’m Pregnant!!!!” She scre-med And Jasper scre-med.

“Finally!!” Jasper shouted and everyone laughed….. then hugged Mirabelle.

“Let me go get drinks….. this call for celebration” Pius said preparing to turn.

“No alcohol! ” Nikita,Mirabelle and Yvonne chorused.

“Boring ladies” Pius said.

“Let’s cheers then…… cheers!” Jasper shouted.

“To happiness ” Yvonne said.

“To Good health” Nikita said.

”To long life!!” Mirabelle yelled.

“Friends forever! ” Dominic shouted.

“Always together!” Pius scre-med.

“No betraying! ?? Deal!?” Jasper shouted,asking and they laughed.

“Deal!” They chorused and laughed h-rder.

Eric’s voice filled the room and Nikita rushed to carry her Child.

“Pius…. Jasper…. sweetheart, excuse us …. I wanna br-ast feed my baby” Nikita said and Pius twitched his mouth

“We can just close our eyes ” Pius winked at her.

Dominic hit Pillow on his head pushed him outside the room then Jasper too then followed them.

“I love you baby…. muah ” Dominic whispered to Nikita then closed the door behind him.
