Temptation is a part of life’s struggles but the good thing is that it can be overcomed if you are determined not to fall short. No matter the severity of what tempts you, the good news is that in you lies the power to say “No” and walk away from that temptation. Whenever a person overcomes any form of temptation, it decks their strength and determination to overcome more. The outright s-×ual advances made by Lauren to Michael was indeed a tough one for him to overcome, judging by how starved he was of deep intimacy. The fact that Michael and his girlfriend ‘Tiffany’ were practicing abstinence in their relationsh¡p made him more prone to s-×ual temptations, especially due to the fact that the decision to totally abstain from s-× was more of Tiffany’s idea than his. This is not to say that he wasn’t ok with the idea to wait, it just meant that he was compromising more than he knew how to.
Being a baddie who has had numerous s-×ual intercourse with Michael in the past, Lauren was in need for more as she missed him dearly while she was away overseas. As the once cozy atmosphere gradually began to heat up, Michael became uncomfortable and wanted out of anything Lauren was planning to do to him at that moment. The last thing he ever wanted to do again was to hurt Tiffany the way he hurt her when the photos of him k!$sing another girl in the club broke the internet. He loved and respected his girlfriend and didn’t want to lose her under any circumstances. Not even for the banging body of Lauren. No way!
On seeing that things had began to take a different turn, Michael had to stop whatever was breeding. “I can’t do this, I’m sorry” he said as he tried to take Lauren’s hands off his body. Confused as to why he was refusing to touch her, she probe him. “What’s wrong with you? Why are you suddenly rejecting a body you couldn’t get enough of few months ago? Is there something you aren’t telling me?” Lauren curiously inquired. Unable to hold the truth any longer, Michael finally let the cat out of the bag. “I’m seeing someone and don’t want to jeopardize what I share with this person. I love her and consider this act as cheating so I’d rather not continue. I have to go for training in few minutes time so I will see you out. Thanks for stopping by, let me know if you need anything” he said and stood up from the couch.
One look at Michael’s face and Lauren could see the seriousness in his eyes. She has never seen him that serious before so she needed no one to tell her to stand up from the couch and head for the door. “Call me whenever you are done deceiving yourself about this person you claim to love and in a relationsh¡p with. I know you more than you know yourself. You don’t believe in love and certainly don’t believe in enjoying only one woman. You are for every woman that looks as hot and ravishing like me and that can never change. This is who you are Michael and will forever be. Call me when you are tired of lying to yourself” she said and walked away.
With Lauren gone, Michael sat back on the couch and fell into deep thoughts. He began to reminisce about all Lauren had said to him. A huge part of him debunked what she said but another part of him genuinely related to it. Michael knew for sure that his heart belonged to Tiffany but what he wasn’t completely sure of was if he was contented with the reality that she was the only woman in his life.
Deep down in Michael’s heart, he wanted to revisit and enjoy his old ways. He wanted to hear beautiful ladies call his name over again as he made love to them. He wanted to be the bad boy he used to be and have his women walk naked all over his house. A hug part of him craved his past lifestyle and at this junction, it’s safe to say that Lauren had successfully messed with his mind.
As Michael was deep in an abyss of dirty thoughts, he was brought back to reality when a call from Tiffany came ringing. He quickly picked up his phone up to check who the caller was only to see the name ‘My Boo’ on his screen. Happy to be brought back to reality, he picked up and the first thing he said was “Hey Babe, I want you to know that I love you”.
When Tiffany heard those words, she smiled and began to blush. “I love you too baby, are you ok? You sound down and a bit different from the man I just left this morning” she curiously inquired and Michael chuckled, “I’m good babe, I just miss you that’s all” he affirmed. They spoke for a while before ending the call.
That unexpected call from Tiffany was just the right medicine Michael needed to get his mind thinking rightly again. All of a sudden, the seed Lauren had planted earlier died and withered away. For the thousandth time, he reassured himself that Tiffany was the love of his life and that no one else mattered; not even the tempting body of Lauren or any other woman. As a popular and highly successful footballer that he was, the battle to stay faithful was tough but he was highly determined because Tiffany was worth it.
After that day, life continued for the lovebirds. It’s been a week later and Michael still haven’t told Tiffany about the incident that occurred with Lauren. He felt it wasn’t necessary to divulge such detail to her as it would only create problems and give room for doubts in their relationsh¡p. Contrary, Tiffany usually told Michael everything that happens daily in her life as it was their traditional to tell each other absolutely everything. They had this policy of ‘no secrets’ in their relationsh¡p hence the reason Micheal felt guilty for keeping the incident with Lauren away from her. However, it was for her own good or at least that’s what he thought.
Weeks went by and Lauren still hasn’t been able to get hold of Michael, talk more of having a taste of him. She missed him dearly and was ready to do just anything to have him make love to her like he used to but the reality on ground was that he was totally unreachable. Michael deliberately avoided her just the way he had been avoiding every other woman from his past. No matter how difficult it seemed, he tried to stay faithful to Tiffany.
While Lauren wallowed in frustration, Michael and Tiffany were having the time for thier lives. Michael had just returned from a one week away match trip and took Tiffany out on a date so as to catch up because they missed each other dearly. Tiffany could hærdly get her hands of her boo that evening as they spent a wonderful time at one of their private hangout locations.
Few minutes into the date, a beautiful song began to play in the background and Tiffany got up to dance. “Dance with me my love” she said and stretched her hands towards Michael. Without hesitating, he held her hands and got up from his chair. Seconds later, he wrapped his hands around her w–st and pulled her closer to him. Their eyes locked with one another as they smiled and swing their body from side to side.
As the atmosphere began to get cozy, it was evident that there was love in the air. If there was ever a perfect time Tiffany wanted to give her body entirely to Michael, then it was that very moment as she stared deeply into his beautiful eyes. “I do love you” she said out of nowhere and Michael smiled faintly, “I love you more” he replied and pulled her even more closer to him. Tiffany leaned forward and k!$sed his chest and he reciprocated by k!$sing her forehead before they locked their l-ips together in a passionate k!$s.
At that moment, the only thing that mattered to them in the whole world was each other. The way they made each other feel was priceless and a feeling to be treasured. They had such a blissful time that evening but had no idea that Lauren had been watching them all along with few of her friends who came there to chill. That was one of the places Michael usually brought his women to in the past so that’s probably how come Lauren knew about the place too.
No amount of words might be enough to fully describe the rage Lauren felt that night as she watched the man she dearly yearned for in the arms of a woman that wasn’t in any match or level with her. Tiffany was a joke compared to Lauren when it came to class, carriage, looks, affluence, shape, exposure etc. Matter of fact, Lauren felt insulted that Michael would ditch her for a low life like Tiffany. What a slap on her face!
Without even trying too hærd, Lauren was quick to recognize that the lady dancing with Michael was the same lady from the photo he posted months ago that broke the internet. “Is this not the lady he was looking for?” She asked her friends who took sometime before concurring that she was the same lady from the photo. In order not to create a scene or piss Michael off by interrupting his cozy date with Tiffany, Lauren stayed hidden till they left. From that day, she began to plot on how to get Michael back from the lady she termed ‘unworthy’ to have him.
After about a month of stalking and gathering all necessary information on Tiffany, Lauren felt she had all the information she needed to strike. She had information starting from where Tiffany lived, her workplace, her family’s rubber manufacturing company, absolutely everything. Since visiting Michael was now off limits, she decided to pay Tiffany a surprise visit one fateful day after school hours.
It happened one afternoon that Lauren drove down to Tiffany’s school and parked opposite the school gate. She waited in the car till she s₱0tted Tiffany walking out of the school premises. Immediately, Lauren horned the car to get her attention which she eventually did get. Without having anything in mind, Tiffany felt it was a parent of one for the students so she walked towards the car. Immediately she got close, Lauren wined down the window before opening the door to alight.
“Hi ma’am, you horned at me. Are you here to pick up your child or make inquiries about our school?” Tiffany innocently asked but Lauren was too busy looking her from head to toe. The suspicious stares made her uncomfortable but she held her cool. Before Tiffany could repeat her previous question, Lauren finally spoke up. “I’m just here wondering what Milano saw in you in the first place but can’t find one single intriguing thing about you. Tiffany or whatever you are called, you are no match and unworthy to have a man like Michael. He was mine before you crawled out from wherever hole you came out from so I suggest you craw back in. There’s no way on earth Michael is serious with someone like you. Just make this easy for the both of us and vanish from his life and I bet he wouldn’t come looking for you” she rudely said and threw some money at her; “take this for your time” she said and drove off.
As Lauren drove off, Tiffany stood there dumbfounded and speechless. Before she could digest what just happened, bitter tears began to fall from her eyes.
