Snowflake pack….!
*Hurry! The alpha prince is coming!*
*Remember alpha told us to be on our best behaviours!*
Pack members murmurs as they rush around cleaning everywhere in the packhouse.
Xander shakes his head as he listens and watch them run around… they’re cleaning everywhere awaiting his arrival not knowing he’s already in their midst.
He had arrived earlier than the others to observe how Derek (alpha of snowflake pack) runs his pack.
He stops right outside their packhouse…he frowns at the condition of the packhouse.
The packhouse doesn’t look like a place any living being can stay, it looks exactly like an abandoned building.
He shakes his head and walks in…he saw some guys holding wh¡ps with their arms crossed on their chests… they’re watching some ski-ny and unkempt girls carrying heavy stuffs around.
Unleashing the wh¡ps on any that slacks off.
A very young girl.. around 13..she couldn’t keep up and falls down. One of the guys released the wh¡p on her back and she gro-ns rolling on the ground.
“Get the f-ck up and move the f-cking table!” He growls at her.
The young girl shakes her head and silently begs him but he refused to listen.
He raised the wh¡p again but before it could land on her, Xander steps forward and caught it…he pulled it from the guy and throws it on the floor.
“Don’t you feel ashamed torturing a pup?!”
“Hey! F-ck off! The Alpha prince is coming and all these filthy Omegas are slacking off!” He growled at Xander.
Xander shuts his eyes and balled his fist as he feel Liam trying to surface… he’s an alpha prince.
This guy talking to him rudely is a death wish…but Xander calm him down, they’re here undercover to observe things.
“Omegas are not slaves! She’s part of this pack too!”
“That’s the rule in our pack! Omegas are not free borns here!” He paused and studies Xander. “You don’t seem like you’re from this pack! Who are you?!”
Xander ignores his question.
“The Alpha King has made it clear that Omegas should be treated like an average pack members…why is that not happening here yet?!”
“That’s none of your business! You don’t decide how we run things in our pack!” He paused and picked the wh¡p. “How did you get in our pack?! Where did you come from?!”
Just then someone rushes in,side and yells.
*He’s here! He’s here! The alpha prince is here!*
The guy turned away from Xander and faces the others.
“Go! Go! Hide yourselves! Don’t make the alpha prince sees you!” He and the others yelled at the Omegas… Kicking them away.
The Omegas got up and hurried off as fast as they can… The guy turned back to Xander.
“The Alpha prince is here, so f-ck off!” He growled at Xander and bumped his shoulder and walked past him.
Liam growls in Xander’s head.
Some teenage girls…dressed in neat uniforms rushed towards the entrance of the packhouse… and arrange themselves in a straight line.
They wore smiles that are obviously fake…then a man dressed in a blue suit comes out of a room and rushed towards the entrance.
Almost bumping into Xander but Xander was very quick to move his body away.
Xander tilts his neck and sees Connor, Dylan, Tyler and Will step out of their cars.
“Welcome, welcome alpha prince!” The man in suit said, laughing loudly as he shakes hands with Connor.
Connor frowns and locked gaze with Xander in,side the packhouse.
*Play along!* Xander commands him through mind-link.
*Xander, it’s a capital crime pretending to be the alpha prince!* Connor argues.
*I permit you!*
*I’d rather not!* Connor declined.
Xander sighed.
*Fine! Do as you please!*
“Alpha prince?” The man called still holding Connor’s hand in a handshake.
Connor blinked and return his attention back to the man.
“I’m alpha Derek” he touched another man standing by his left hand side. “This is my beta, Matt!”
Connor withdraw his hand from his.
“I’m not the alpha prince, I’m the beta prince, Connor!”
“Huh?! Where’s the alpha prince then?” Alpha Derek asked.
“He’s arrived long before us!” Will answered.
“You’re…?”
“Royal spy, William Dex!”
Alpha Derek frowns and tilts his neck looking behind Connor and co.. expecting to see Xander.
“The alpha prince is already here? Why don’t I know of that?”
“That’s your problem!” Xander said from behind him…he keeps a straight face on.
“Alpha prince!” Connor, Tyler, Dylan and Will greets Xander.
He walks towards them and nods at Connor and co in acknowledgement.
Alpha Derek frowns deeply…the guy that bumped shoulders with Xander opens his mouth…words failing him.
“Al… Alpha prince?!” He stutters quietly to himself.
“Alpha prince?!” Alpha Derek asked.
Connor nods.
“This is the Alpha prince…his royal highness, prince Xander Liam Damien of crescent moonstone pack!”
Alpha Derek gasped and quickly falls on his knees..his head bowed as his body shakes.
Every pack members present followed their Alpha’s action..they fall on their knees and bowed their heads.
“Quickly, rise up all of you!” Xander said.
Alpha Derek gets up first..then his pack members did too…though their heads are still lowered slightly.
Xander drags that rude guy out.
“Where are the others?” Xander asked.. he’s referring to the others who were wh¡pping the Omegas with him.
He points them out. Xander made them kneel down in front of him and turns to Alpha Derek.
“I want their heads off right now!”
“Their heads off?” Alpha Derek asked before he could stop himself.
Xander narrowed his eyes.
“Are you questioning me?”
Alpha Derek quickly shakes his head, he asked for his blade and one of the girls rushed in,side to get it…she came back in no time and hands it to him.
“As the Alpha prince, I have right to punish anyone I find breaking the laws!” He takes the blade from alpha Derek.
He walk towards the guys and stop in front of them.
“Unfortunately for you, I caught you maltreating a pup! I have decided that your punishment is…..”
He raised the blade and in a blink of an eye, he separated the rude guy’s head from his neck.
“….death!” He said…he watched the body drop.
He felt Liam finally relax in his head for having dealt with the guy who disrespected him.
He looked at the rest…their heads lowered with their bodies shaking seriously…great fear in their bodies.
“You! Come here!” He called one of alpha Derek’s guards. “Take them to your pack’s dungeon and execute them later!”
“Yes, Alpha prince!” The guard said and went away with them.
Xander turned to Alpha Derek.
“Lead the way to your office!”
“Yes, your highness!” Derek replied and leads the way.

Alpha Derek’s office…..!
Xander sits on Derek’s chair and glance through the report book Derek’s beta gave him…he growled and slammed it on the table.
Derek quickly bows his head.
“What nonsense! How dare you lie to my face!”
“Al.. Alpha prince c-calm down…”
“Shut up!” He cuts Derek off. “You think you can fool the alpha King?! Huh?!”
There’s silence as no one wants to have their heads cut off.
“Is this how you lead your pack?! Letting your pack members break every bloody law the Alpha King made!”
Xander picked the report book and throws it at Derek.
“In your report, you said everything is going on well with your pack! Your pack members love and help each other! Huh?!”
He paused, glaring at Derek.
“What I saw today wasn’t love among pack members! If your pack members fight against each other, tell me how the rogues won’t attack them!”
Xander got up.
“You reported a rogue attack, but you’re the one terrorizing your own pack!…. Imagine, this packhouse is so old that I first thought I came to the wrong place….it looked like an abandoned building!”
“I’m..I’m sorry, Alpha prince…I failed in my duties….”
“If this is how you lead your pack, letting the strong bully the weak.. turning the Omegas to slaves, then you’re not fit to be the Alpha!”
“I’ll change.. I’ll lead the pack in the right way….”
“I’ve got my report, I’ll go back and report what I observe to the Alpha King…you, wait for word from him!”
“Yes, your highness!”
Xander turns to Connor, Dylan, Tyler and Will..he nods at them.
“No need to see me off!” Xander told Derek and head towards the door.
They walked out of the packhouse and made it outside the gate where their cars are parked.
“Xander, are we really going back today?” Connor asked.
“Yes, I can’t stay in this pack one more second!”
Connor nods with a smile threatening to tug his l-ips.
“But it’s already 7:37pm… can’t we just spend the night here and return home tomorrow morning?” He asked pretending to be sad.
Dylan sighed.
“As if he really wanna spend the night here!”
Connor sneers at him.
“I’m riding back with Will” Xander said.
They frown in confusion.. naturally he was supposed to ride with Connor as he’s the beta.
“Are you breaking up with me?” Connor asked quietly.
Tyler and Dylan chuckled at Connor’s question.
“If I were Xander, I’d break up with you too!” Tyler said.
Xander sighs and shake his head at Connor’s dramatic question…he moved closer to Will and throws his arm around Will’s shoulder.
“He’s my in law! I wanna ask him some personal questions about my mate!”
Connor frowns. “You can asked me, I always have the best answers!”
Tyler rolled his eyes and shake his head. “Right, like how your courting ideas were embarrassing Alexa!”
Everyone laughed and Connor threatens to hit Tyler. Xander turns to Will, he pushed him gently to the passenger seat.
Xander got in the driver’s seat and fasten his seatbelt..then turns to Will with a small frown.
“I noticed Alexa gets to attend only two classes everyday…why?” He asked.
Will also fasten his seatbelt.
“Well that’s because something happened to her when she was 7 and it affected her brain” Will replied.
“Elaborate!”
“She had an accident when she was 7 and hit her head on a small rock… The doctor said she’s fine and her body looks healthy… but not her mental health….so he advised we shouldn’t let her overuse her brain because if her brain is put under pressure… the external stimulus will make her brain short of oxygen.. and will make her pass out!” Will explained.
Xander nods in understanding… He had always wondered why Alexa doesn’t take more than two classes everyday.
“Then how did she still get to be a straight A student?”
William smiled.
“Alexa is a stubborn child, even though we try our best to stop her from studying too much in the day time… I’ll still see her phone flashlight on at night… She sneakily study at night… she’s a nerd!”
Xander starts the car and hits the road… He looks through the rearview mirror and sees Connor and the others car driving behind him.
“You’ll tell me more about her as we go!”
“Yes, alpha…. ”
“No, no, no!” Xander cuts Will off. “We’re gonna be family sooner, so just call me Xander!”
“What?! But Alpha…. ”
“Xander!”
Will paused.
“Xander?”
“That’s it!” Will chuckles lightly.

Alexa’s pov 🎀
Dex’s apartment….! 8:14pm….!
I pout and stared at my phone on the table..why is it not ringing yet? I grumbled mentally.
Ok..this is what happened. I have been trying to reach Will since I came back from the king’s palace, but I couldn’t reach him.
Micah keeps telling me that he’s fine but I don’t wanna believe him…I wanna hear from Will first before I will be assured.
Micah dumps a bowl of popcorn on my lap and t-rn on the TV…he sits next to me on the sofa and takes some popcorn from the bowl.
“Alexa, look! It’s your favorite cartoon!” Micah exclaimed.
Yeah, I love cartoons, I mean who doesn’t?
I raised my head and saw Mulan playing…I look away and turned to my phone.
“Hey! Watch Mulan!” He said and snatches my phone from the table.
“Hey! Give it back!” I said and tried to get it back from him.
“No!”
“Give it back!”
“No!”
I huffed and angrily slumps back onto the sofa.
“You’re behaving like your boyfriend broke up with you!” He said.
“I haven’t heard from my brother since he left the house last night, of course I’ll be worst than someone going through a break!”
Micah sighed deeply.
“Alas! I’m not her favorite brother after all..she only pretends to love me! Alas! I know the truth!” He said in a british accent.. reminding me of shakespeare’s plays.
“I love you and I love Will too, I’d be worried if you left home and can’t reach you…you guys are all I have!”
I know Will is strict with me and I understand him perfectly well, I know behind that strict face there’s a sweet, warm, loving and caring big brother.
Everything he does is for mine and Micah’s good…he always puts us first in everything.
He nods a pulled me in a hug…he k-ssed my forehead gently.
“Will is fine, don’t worry he’ll call you soon!” He said.
I nod and rest my head on his chest. Not up to five minutes, I heard my phone ringtone blares.
I pushed Micah away and snatched my phone from him… it’s Will calling.
“Hey! William!” I quickly answer.
I heard him chuckled.
*Hey! Sweetie! Did I made you worry?* He asked.
I nod and pout, then I realized he can’t see me.
“Yes! I was worried sick! What happened? Why couldn’t I reach you?”
He laughs.
*Calm down…I was kinda busy do I turned off my phone!*
“Oh!”
*Yeah, but don’t worry! I’m fine, go to bed early…you have school tomorrow!* He commands.
I smiled…ok, I kinda missed his bossy attitude.
“Ok!”
*I have to go, good night!*
“Good night!” I replied and hang up.
I hear Micah released a long gro-n.
“Now can we go to bed?” He asked.
I frown and turned to the TV.
“Aren’t we gonna watch Mulan?”
He smiled maliciously and swoops me off the sofa.
“Nope! I only wanted to cheer you up…now there’s no need for that!” He said.
“Bu..but…but….”
“No, young lady! You’re going to bed!” He head towards my room.
“Nooooooooooooooooo!” I scre-med like those cartoon characters.
But this devilish brother didn’t listen.

12am….! Crescent moonstone pack….!
Xander and his convoy finally made it to crescent moonstone pack.
They drive into the packhouse’s garage and parked their cars…they alighted and came together.
“We’ll report this to my dad tomorrow evening at the pack meeting…you can all go home and get some sleep!” Xander said.
William nod. “I should go home, Alexa was worried about me..I wanna give her a surprise when she wakes up!”
Xander nods and Will enters his car and drives off. Xander turns to the others and catches them yawning.
“Let’s sleep in the packhouse tonight!” He said.
“Good idea!” Dylan and Connor said at once.
They didn’t waste any time, they rushed in… Tyler and Xander follows behind.

*Grrrrrrrrrh!*
I woke up in a startle as the annoying sound of my alarm clock blares in my ears… I stretch groggily and glanced at the clock.
6:30am? Who the hell reset my alarm clock?! It must be Micah.. that bastard!!
I lazily hops off my bed and head towards my bathroom, I’m already up I might as well start getting ready for school.

“God! This place smells like heaven!” I said and inhaled deeply as I step into the living room.
I rushed to the dinning room and quickly made myself comfortable on a chair… my mouth watered as my eyes roam the table.
“Chicken wings?! Toasted bread! Scrambled eggs and bacon?!” I exclaimed happily and rub my hands together, licking my l-ips.
Just then Micah walks in with an apron around his neck, he drops a plate of sliced apples on the table.
“Oh! The princess is awake!” He said.
“Micah! Are you the real Micah?!”
“Duh! I’m the one and only Micah!”
I lean forward and grab his right arm.. I pinched on it very hærd and he scre-med loudly.
“F-cking ex-girlfriends!” He yelled.
“I’m not dreaming!”
He glares at me.
“Why did you pinch me?!”
“I wanna be sure if you actually cooked all these in my dream or reality!”
He rolls his eyes and sits down next to me.
“I’m not that useless, ok! I can actually cook anything!”
I scoffed loudly.
“Right!”
“I’m telling you, don’t underestimate me, I can….. ”
“Alright, that’s enough lies, Micah!” Will’s voice cuts him off.
Wait! Will’s voice?!
Last night he wasn’t here until I went to sleep! When on earth did he come back?
I feel someone breath in my ear and turn. A loud squeal leaves my mouth and my arms wrap around Will’s neck.
“Will, you’re back!”
Will laughed heartily.
“Well, I never knew you’d miss me this much!”
“When did you come back?” I asked.
“Last night!” He replied and sits me back on my chair.
I nod and turns to Micah with a playful glare.
“I knew Micah can’t cook to save his life!” He was taking someone else’s credit.
“At least he washed the apples” Will said.
“Right?” Micah ch¡ps in.
Will sits opposite Micah and starts serving the food, he dished my plate first.. then Micah’s before his.
“So how was your trip?” I asked, stuffing my mouth with bread.
“Smooth!” Was his only reply.
“Oh!”
“Did you meet any beautiful damsel?”
Well, I don’t need to tell you who said that…you all know him.
Will and I exchange looks and rolled out eyes, shaking our heads.
“Playboy!” Will and I said at once.
“I’m not a playboy, I’m just looking for my soulmate!” He defends himself.
“We know!” Will and I said again.
He scoffed and glares at us.
“Stop echoing each other’s words!”
“Oh!” We said again to annoy him…he simply hissed and focus on his food.
“I don’t have time to argue with nerds!” He said.
Will and I laughed, then continue eating in silence… My eyes meets the wall clock in the living room… 7:30am.
“Hurry up or you’ll have to walk to school” Micah said.

“Bye, playboy!” I waved at Micah and steps out of the car.
“Nerd!” He said and zooms off.
I almost lost my balance as someone jumps on me from behind… engulfing me in a hug.
“Alexa!” Joyce calls in my ear.
She pulled away from the hug and smiles at me… I frown.
“Let me guess, your boyfriend called you this morning?”
She shakes her head.
“He’s back!”
“Hmm, that’s why you’re smiling!” She takes my hand and we starts walking towards our class.
We both have biology this morning… here’s a little secret, I hate biology.
“Joyce, about your sister… I’m sorry about yesterday, I just don’t like it when someone is getting bullied”
“It’s fine, I think she kinda deserve it.. she’s getting too rebellious recently”
“Rebellious?”
“Yeah! The guy she’s in love with doesn’t loves her back, so she gets angry at any and everything!”
“oh, that’s sad!”
“Hmm, I think she needs this punishment to calm down!”
I haven’t loved before but I can tell that loving someone who doesn’t love you too is really heart breaking.
“Who is the guy?” I asked…
Maybe I can help her get him, who knows he might love her too but don’t want to admit it… humph! As if I have the courage to set people up!
“You don’t wanna know!”
“I wanna!”
She paused and stares at me briefly.
“It’s Xander!”
“Xander?!” I blurt out instantly.
She nods and I feel my heart skip… I don’t know why but I suddenly feel threatened.
Yeah, I know Joyce said Xander doesn’t love her back and heck I don’t even love him… but I suddenly feel like Janet is about to snatch him from me.
“Alexa?”
“What?!” I snapped at her, suddenly feeling angry.
“A-are you ok?”
“Yes!”
“Oook!” She drags the word slowly.
Alexa, why are you getting angry?! I scold myself mentally. Stay calm! Stay calm!
“Sorry about that, I didn’t mean to snap like that” I apologised.
“It’s fine, I completely understand!”
Then I remembered what she said, if her boyfriend is back that means Mr court boy is back!
“Er.. Joyce is your boyfriend gonna come to school today?” I indirectly asked if court boy is coming.
“Yeah, he’s in his chemistry class already”
“He and his friends?”
She gave me a knowing look and smiled.
“Yeah, but Xander didn’t come today!”
“He didn’t?!” I found myself asking in a bit of sad voice.
“Nope!” She answered. “Are you missing him?” She wags her brows teasingly.
I scoffed and gag.
“Missing him? Never!”
“Oh?”
“I’m happy he’s not coming today, at least no one’s gonna distract me from listening in class!” I said.
I’m not missing him but what I don’t understand is why I’m feeling sad.
I took a deep breath.
“Let’s go to class!” I grab her hand and drag her along before she could start talking again.

Pack members greet Xander as he walk past them towards the kitchen.
He stops when he hears some of his pack warriors talking loudly with excitement.
*… I didn’t expect as a human she’d be bold enough to stand before the Alpha King!*
*Finally she put Janet in her place!*
*she surprised everyone!*
Xander clears his throat and they all stood up and bowed their heads.
“Alpha!” They chorused.
“What were you talking about?”
They look at each other, silently contemplating who will speak first.
“Aren’t you supposed to be in the training ground?!”
“Yes, Alpha!”
“Get out!”
They all rushed out as if their lives depended on it.
Xander shakes his head and head towards the fridge.. he felt a tap on his shoulder and turned… it’s his sister.
“Jenna, what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be in school?”
“I’m off duty today!” She replies.
Xander nods and takes an orange from the fridge and sits on a stool by the counter.
“Why didn’t you go to school?”
“I don’t really need to, I only went back to find my mate!”
Jenna nods.
“Now you’ve found her, don’t you miss her?”
Xander nods slowly, Liam has been nagging him to go to school…he wants to see and be near their mate.
“Then what are you still doing here?”
“I want to give her some space, I realized I’ve been too forward!”
Jenna sighs and smacks his head.
“If you continue to stay here everyday, you won’t make her love you”
“I know, I just don’t wanna….”
“Shhhh, have you heard about how Alexa dealt with Janet yesterday for bullying an Omega?”
He shakes his head.
“She made Janet do the janitor’s job for a week!”
Xander’s eyes lit up and he adjust on the stool.
“How did she do that? I find it difficult to deal with Janet sometimes”
“She brought Janet to the palace yesterday and told dad about what happened…then dad gave her the right to punish Janet”
Xander gets up and drops the orange on the counter and rushed upstairs.
“where are you going?” Jenna yells after him.
“School” he replied.

Alexa’s pov 🎀
*….. don’t forget to hand in your homework next friday!* Mr mike said and steps out of the class.
I sighed for the hundredth time, I’ve been sighing a lot since the beginning of this class.
My eyes glanced around the class to confirm it again…I’m met with another disappointment.
Mr court boy is still not here, I guess he’s really not coming to school today.
“Alexa, I have history next!” Joyce said.
“Hmm!” I simply nod absentmindedly.
“My boyfriend and I have it together, so you’re gonna be in your music class alone!”
“Hmm!”
She bangs the desk lightly and I blinked back to reality.
“Are you ok?”
“Yeah!”
“Ok, I’m gonna go, see you after class!”
I nod. She picks up her bag and dashed out, I arranged my books in my bag and head to my music class.

*Today we’re gonna do some singing exercise…last time Janet did an excellent job!* Mr Cam said and winks at Janet.
Janet rolls her eyes and look away…I frown in confusion, why is Mr Cam winking at her? Does this school approve teacher and student relationsh¡ps?
*You’re gonna get yourself a singing partner and compose a song together…and we’ll have a singing competition next month!*
Some students cheer and giggles excitedly… Mr Cam calms them down and continue.
*Now choose your partners among your classmates!*
The students discuss among themselves, some linking arms with their friends.
I sighed deeply, I don’t know anyone other than Joyce..and I guess no one wants to partner up with me.
Everyone has got their partners remaining I and Janet, she throws me a glare but I ignore her.
Mr Cam calls for everyone’s attention.
*Alright, I guess Janet and Alexa will part…..*
“Mr Cam!” A familiar voice cuts him off.
I turned and saw Mr court walking in, a smile subconsciously crept on my face.
Why do I suddenly feel happy seeing him?
*Alpha….*
Mr court raised his hand to stop him, he gave Mr Cam a knowing look.
Mr Cam nods and clears his throat.
*X-xander, what are you doing here?*
“I’m here to sign up for your music class!” Court boy replied…he looked directly at me and winks at me.
I frown…since when does he starts winking?
*Er.. ok, but they’re partnering up for a singing competition, Janet and Alexa haven’t got partners yet… I don’t know if you will like to partner with any of them!*
Janet rushed forward and links her arm with court boy… I feel anger erupt from the pit of my stomach.
“Mr Cam, I’ll be Xander’s partner!” She said in a sweet voice.
I don’t know if it’s Mr Cam she’s tryna charm with her sweet voice or court boy.
Court boy did something that gave me instant satisfaction.. he unlink their arms and head straight to me.
“I’ll be her partner!” He told Mr Cam.
Mr Cam nods, Janet glares at me intensely, she scoffed loudly and angrily storms to her desk.
I smirk victoriously.. wait, what is wrong with me lately?!
“Hi, I’m Xander!” Court boy said and reach out his hand for a handshake.
I frown. “Excuse me?”
He laughs lightly.
“I’m sorry for embarrassing you before, I was too direct… Now, I want us to start over!”
I think about it for a brief second and nods.
“I’m Xander!”
“Alexa!” I said and clasp my hand on his.
“Can I be your singing partner?”
“Yeah!” He smiles and signal me to sit down.. I sit down and he sits on the desk next to mine.
My eyes locate Janet and I noticed she’s still glaring daggers at me… If looks could kill, I’m sure I’d be 6ft under by now!
*Alright, all of you will have to practice the so fa notation first…if your partner doesn’t know it, it’s your job to teach him or her!*
Mr Cam distributed a sheet of paper round to everyone.
*Now look at the notation and practice it with your partner… with this I believe you will be able to compose a very good music!*
I glance through the paper and smile, this is very simple, I already learnt this before at my previous school.
“Do you know how to sing this?” Court boy asked.

He nods again, I cleared my throat and starts.

He look at him expectantly, he clears his throat too and starts.

I shake my head and laugh lightly.

I starts again.

He smiles and starts again.

I looked at him strangely and nod “yeah, nailed your ears!” I said.
“So… Should we sing it again?” He asked.
I throw my head back and released a long gro-n… this is gonna be a very long and annoying practice!
