Hours later after the Lagos incident, the members of rogue elites gather in their base to discuss the ups and downs of their plan. Saddened by the capture of both Omotola and Gabriel, Joshua strongly brought a suggestion about helping them but Moses declined expressing the risks of doing that and urged his comrades to use the stolen diamonds for something useful.

Joshua ➡ Gabriel and Omotola were our big guns. We need to get them back.

Mary ➡ I agree.
.

Burau’uba ➡ WALLAHI! LET US GO.

Habib ➡ That would be unnecessary.

Mary ➡ WHAT?

Moses ➡ Habib is right. Going back to rescue them would be dangerous.

Joshua ➡ You can’t be serious.
.

Moses ➡ I am serious. Ade’s group outnumber us and they have the advantage.

Joshua ➡ So you’re saying we should abandoned them?
.

Moses ➡ For now yes. Besides it’s not like Ade and his group will kill them. They’ll imprison them but their lives won’t be in jeopardy.

Mary ➡ So, What are we going to do with the diamonds?

Moses ➡ Sell them of course. Our financial status is very poor and with the money we’ll be getting from the diamonds, it will be enough to start afresh.

Habib ➡ That’s a good idea.

Joshua ➡ Okay fine…. Let’s..

Mary ➡ Shush!!

Moses ➡ Mary.. What is it?
.

Mary ➡ Someone is coming.. No.. There’s someone in this room.

Alarmed by Mary’s statement, the elites quickly cluster around each other looking out for the mysterious presence in the room. All of a sudden, a stranger with a strange looking mask and a black outfit appears out of the shadows and stands a few meters away from the elites, he stands still and remains quiet for a while before speaking to them.

Hades ➡ Evening gentlemen.

Joshua ➡ Who are you?
.

Hades ➡ An admirer of your work.
.

Moses ➡ We meant your name.
.

Hades ➡ I’m Hades from Prometheus. I was tasked to retrieve the diamonds you stole but by the time I got there, you had already beaten me to it.

Habib ➡ So you’re here for the diamonds?
.

Hades ➡ Yes.
.

Mary ➡ How did you find us?
.

Hades ➡ I followed you from the shadows of course.
.

Moses ➡ So what now? I’m sure you must have heard our plans for the diamonds.
.

Hades ➡ Yes and that won’t be necessary.
.

Joshua ➡ Why not?.
.

Hades ➡ Because the diamonds are very essential to Prometheus.
.

Moses ➡ If you want the diamonds so bad, you’d have to pay a crazy amount of money to get them.
.

Hades ➡ There’s no need for that. I have an offer for all of you. How would you like to join Prometheus?

Moses ➡ And why would we do that?
.

Hades ➡ First of all, I’m an elite like you and after what I saw last night, I believe that we have the same goals.

Joshua ➡ Which is?
.

Hades ➡ Come with me and find out. I would like you all to meet the other members of Prometheus.

Habib ➡ How do we know that you’re not lying or trying to trick us?

Hades ➡ And why would I do that? The diamonds are my mission, it would be stupid of me to make a move on you without knowing the whereabouts of the diamonds. Just follow me and see what I’m talking about. It won’t take long.

Moses ➡ So what do you say guys?

Joshua ➡ Let’s go and see.

Mary ➡ Agreed.
.

Habib ➡ I don’t like this but I’ll go.

Moses ➡ Alright then, We’ll go. Hope you have a means of transportation.

Hades ➡ Follow me into the shadow.
.

Hesitant at first, the elites soon follow Hades into the shadows and like a door way, the elites soon find themselves in the heart of Prometheus’s base.
Sitting here in the base are all the members of Prometheus, they were busy discussing discussing about the Lagos horror event when they noticed the presence of their guests. Before they could get alarmed, Hades soon calms them down.

Ares ➡ INTRUDERS!

Hades ➡ Relax, comrades. They’re with me.

Medusa ➡ Explain yourself Hades.

Hades ➡ These are the one responsible for the Lagos incident, they’re also elites and they have our diamonds.

Athena ➡ Thieves.

Joshua ➡ Na your mama be thief! Hades or whatever your name is.. I didn’t come here to be insulted.

Zeus ➡ Everyone. Calm down. There’s no need for hostility. Is it true that we were the ones responsible for the Lagos incident?

Moses ➡ Yes we are but the ones that orchestrated it were captured.

Ares ➡ Captured? By who?
.

Joshua ➡ Another group of elites. They’re stand against everything we do.

Poseidon ➡ Elites fighting each other. This is absurd.

Moses ➡ Excuse me but the reason we came here was because Hades said that we have common goals. I’d like to know if we’re on the same page.

Zeus ➡ Of course we’re on the same page. You seek the annihilation of the human race.

Joshua ➡ True. It’s time for the elites to take over. Normality is now a thing of the past.

Zeus ➡ I agree wholeheartedly but in order to do that, we need to crush the political powers around the world, and the Nigerian government will be the first scape goat.

Mary ➡ And how do you plan to accomplish that?

Hephaestus ➡ We have a plan but in order for the plan to work, we need the diamonds you stole.

Moses ➡ Unless you have the money to pay for them, the diamonds stay with us.
.

Zeus ➡ There’s no need for that. We would like you to join us. Be part of us.
.

Joshua ➡ I would prefer an alliance. I don’t like to be bossed around.
.

Moses. ➡ I agree with Joshua, an alliance would be better.
.

Zeus ➡ Okay.. What are your terms?
.

Moses ➡ A share of your wealth and resource in exchange for our loyalty.
.

Hephaestus ➡ What about the diamonds?
.

Moses ➡ We’ll hand them over to you as soon as you agree.
.

Zeus ➡ Alright, we will be allies but keep it in mind that we will not tolerate betrayal.

Joshua ➡ Absolutely.
.

Athena ➡ No so fast. I’ll be the judge of that.

Hades ➡ Well, what do you think, Athena?
.

Athena ➡ They’re legit. We have no problems here.

Habib ➡ What just happened?
.

Ares ➡ Athena is a telepath. She can read mind and thoughts. We’d like to know your abilities.

Moses ➡ I have the power to brainwash anyone and make them do my bidding. Joshua here has that power to infect anyone with any kind of disease. Mary here has super hearing. She’s can hear sounds from any direction no matter how far and no matter how small. She too can read minds. Habib here is our banshee. He doesn’t say much but his voice is a freak of nature. He can destroy anyone with his voice. The big guy here is our powerhouse. What he lacks in brains he makes up for brute superhuman strength.

Zeus ➡ Fascinating. You’re abilities are top notch. No wonder Hades decided to bring you.

Moses ➡ How about telling us your own abilities?

Zeus ➡ Very well. Hades here can go anywhere around the world within seconds.

Moses ➡ Sounds like someone I know. Does he use teleportation?

Hades ➡ It’s like teleportation but I use shadows as my doorway.
.

Zeus ➡ Ares here has the power to destroy anything he touches. So I’d be careful if I were you. Medusa here has the power of telekinesis. Hephaestus is our mad genius and Poseidon here possess the ability of alchemy.

Moses ➡ What about you? Is there any special ability that you have?
.

Joshua ➡ Maybe he doesn’t have one or maybe his ability is just as useless as Iwonbi.
.

Angered by Joshua’s remark, Zeus stretches out his right hand and fires an energy beam from the palm of his hands, the beam hit Joshua so hærd that he was sent flying and crashing into a nearby wall. After seeing what Zeus could do, Moses and others rushes to the aid of Joshua who was gr0-ning in pain, his chest had received some burns but from the looks of it, the wound wasn’t that serious.

Moses ➡ Are you crazy!? You could have killed him.
.

Zeus ➡ That was merely a warning shot. If I had attacked him with a full blast he would have been vaporized from existence.
.

Moses ➡ So firing energy blasts is your ability then?.
.

Zeus ➡ Yes but that’s not all. I absorb all kinds of heat waves and then unleash it as an attack. Now then, since we’ve all gotten acquainted to one another, its time for us to make our presence known.

[ ADE ]

Despite saving the city of Lagos from becoming a pit of everlasting darkness, the people were quite restless about what happened last night. I honestly couldn’t blame them cause they had just witnessed and experience something that was beyond their comprehension. Still, the others and I had done our part so we decided to let the state government deal with the people.
So presently, here I was with the others in the NOVA agency discussing on what plan of action to take on both Gabriel and Omotola. Handing them over to the police would be a bad idea cause not only will they escape but they’ll also make our existence known to the world. Thanks to Chioma’s ability, she was able to both of them in a trance until we figured out the best way to contain them. Ace and Samson made preparations on some kind of restraints that will make them behave.
Later that day, some of us went to check on Ali who was recuperating back at my place. Although he was saved from being transformed into a permanent monster, his body hasn’t yet recovered from the experience. Upon arriving at the place, Susan’s car showed up at the exact same moment, I excused myself from the others and went over to her place. Susan alighted from her car as soon as she saw me coming, despite looking stunning in her dress, her face was a little bit moody.

Ade ➡ Hey Hon….
.

Susan ➡ Don’t you even dare Ade? Don’t you dare?
.

Normally, any guy would ask what happened but thanks to my spirits friends, they reminded me about not checking up on Susan during last night’s incident. In order to avoid her temper, I quickly came up with a very convincing lie.

Ade ➡ Look, if it’s about yesterday. I’m sorry. I still can’t process what happened but all I know was that I was attacked by whatever those things were after that, I lost consciousness. Are you alright?
.

Susan’s temper immediately disappeared from her, her moody face was soon replaced with the look of remorse and pity. Before I could say anything else, Susan surprised me with a sweet loving k!$s.

Susan ➡ Oh baby, I’m so sorry for barking at you. God, I should have known. I’m sorry.
.

Ade ➡ It’s okay.
.

Susan ➡ What do you think happened last night?
.

Ade ➡ Well, I have no idea but can we please not talk about it?

Susan ➡ You’re right, it’s meaningless. I see your friends are here.

Ade ➡ Yeah, one of my other friend was badly affected. He’s in the house recuperating.

Susan ➡ Why didn’t you take him to the hospital?

Ade ➡ It’s bound to be full by now. Plus, it’s nothing serious, all he needs is some rest.

Susan ➡ Well after what happened last night, i began to think about us.

Ade ➡ And?

Before Susan could say anything, Felicia appeared from behind and interrupted us. The two women stared at each other as if they would go for one another’s throat but before that could happen, Felicia made an announcement.

Felicia ➡ Hey Ade, sorry to interrupt your moment with what’s her name but there’s something you should see in,side the house . It’s urgent.
.

Ade ➡ Okay, Susan do you mind?
.

Susan ➡ No but I’m coming with you.
.

After we went into the house, we saw everyone gathered around the flat screen which had displayed a sign and invoice message. The sign didn’t only show on the flat but it showed on our smart phones as well. What bothered me wasn’t the sign but the invoice message and the people that sent it.

PROMETHEUS ➡ Greetings people of earth, this message is for everyone of you. We are Prometheus and we’re here to set the world right. Our goal is to save the world but in order to do that we need to unshackle the fate of the world from the hands of the corrupt government of the world and you people in general. We are the dawn of a new age and the time has come for the new humanity to rise but for that to be possible we need to destroy the old one and build a new one. Before the last statement could be said, the screen went off and the message stopped. In that moment, I got a call from Samson but before I could answer it, I excused myself from the others and went outside.

Ade ➡ Hello Samson.
.

Samson ➡ You heard that message, didn’t you?
.

Ade ➡ Yeah, that was close. Those b-stards were about to expose us all. I wonder what happened?
.

Samson ➡ I hacked their system and jammed their transmission using Mercury. We need to find those b-stards.
.

Ade ➡ But how?
.

Samson ➡ I’ve traces their location. We need to move in on them and crush them.
.

Ade ➡ Nice one Samson, I’ll let the others know. See you later. (ends call)

Felicia ➡ So what now?
.

Ade. ➡ Felicia?! Will you stop doing that?
.

Felicia ➡ Relax, so what did Samson say?
.

Ade ➡ He was responsible for jamming the message and he’s found their location. We need to crush these b-stards.

Felicia ➡ That we will do but first we need some backup. I know a couple of guys that might help.
