YAAARRGGGHHH!!!

Here in the underground lair underneath Julius’s mansion, Ali scre-ms with rage showing off his anger. He begins furiously to throw his knives on the wall of the lair. This outburst of rage alerts the other Elites that were sitting in the lair, they all look at Ali wondering why he was in a foul mood.
Mary (Antenna) confronts Ali and commands him to cool his temper and in that moment, the angry assassin turns his attention to her and blasts her furiously.

Mary (Antenna) ➡ Stop acting like a crazy bull and calm down!
.

Ali ➡ KE! Shut your mouth before I seal it for you permanently.
.

Moses (Freak) ➡ Calm down Ali.. What happened?
.

Joshua (Plague) ➡ It’s been a while since I saw you this mad. Who kicked sand on your face?
.

Sunday (Z-Force) ➡ We were attacked by Ade and his colleagues.

Gabriel (Volt) ➡ Ade!? The Ade!? Phantom 0
.

Tanko (Burau’uba) ➡ Yes, we were about to capture our target when they showed up.
.

Sunday ➡ that female detective is still alive. I wonder how she survived.

Joshua ➡ This is not good! First you lost failed to capture the target and now that detective is dead.. This boss won’t be pleased.
.

Omotola (Sorceress) ➡ I knew I was the right person for the job. I would have made her suffer the most gruesome death.
.

Beatrice (Lioness) ➡ Oh please.. I’m the right person for the job. Everyone knows that I always get the job done.
.

Eve (Reptalia) ➡ ENOUGH!!!

As soon everyone hears that, they all turn to the direction of Eve, who appears into lair walking majestically. Everyone in the room remains calm as they notice the presence of their boss, they each take their seat around the big table right after Eve had taken hers. After a brief moment of silence, Eve addresses Ali and the others about their failures.

Eve ➡ Assassin, Z-Force, Burau’uba… I expected more from you 3.. What happened and where’s the target?
.

Ali ➡ We lost him.
.

Eve ➡ How?
.

In that moment, Eve retracts the claw on her index finger pulling it on the table sending fear into the hearts of the other Elites especially Ali and the other 2 who stare at her in fright.

Z-Force ➡ Uhm.. We attacked.
.

Eve ➡ By who?
.

Ali ➡ Ade.
.

Upon hearing Ade’s name, Eve retracts her claws into her finger and stares at Ali, who stares right back at her. In that moment, Eve stands up from her seat and begins to walk around the lair for a while before retuning to her chair once more.

Eve ➡ How long has it been Ali? How long since we parted ways with the others?
.

Ali ➡ 10yrs.
.

Eve ➡ 10yrs and throughout those years they haven’t crossed us until now.

Moses ➡ Should we be worried?
.

Eve ➡ They’re recruiting other Elites as well.
.

Moses ➡ I said should we be worried?
.

Mary ➡ Of course! You know how powerful Ade is.
.

Gabriel ➡ It’s not Ade I’m worried about.. It’s Felicia.
.

Joshua ➡ Felicia?! Nobody has heard from her for a long time.
.

Mary ➡ She might be with the others.
.

Eve ➡ ENOUGH!!! This is a declaration of war. If Ade and the others want to play, they’re going to get it.

Ali ➡ Let’s be reason about this.. You know what Ade is capable of.
.

Eve ➡ I do.. He’s not like Felicia. We have nothing to worry about. What we need is to keep them distracted while we focus on our main goal. Annihilation.

Omotola ➡ What’s your plan?
.

Eve ➡ Assemble our pawns. It’s time to toss them unto the field to keep Ade and his busy.. Omotola use your witchcraft to corrupt their minds.

Omotola ➡ With pleasure.

Moses ➡ What about me?
.

Eve ➡ Relax Moses. You’re one of my subordinates. Your time to play will come soon.

Z-Force ➡ What about the target?

Eze ➡ Keep him aside for a while in the mean time, I’d like you to bring me this girl.
.

Z-Force ➡ This tiny girl? She’s an elite as well?
.

Eve ➡ Yes her powers may be useful to us against Ade.
.

Ali ➡ Are you saying that this girl could rival Ade in power?
.

Eve ➡ Let’s just say that there’s something about this girl that is dark and ominous.
Find the girl, bring her to me and we’ll see what makes her tick.

SEEING IS BELIEVING! everyone believes in this statement but in this modern era that isn’t enough. Like in the court of law or news stations if something is seen or reported to have happen, one needs concrete evidence to prove what he/she is saying and without that evidence, one’s claim or discovery is just as good as telling folktales stories.
For centuries, Mankind has believed in the existence in the supernatural or spiritual force that is beyond the comprehension of man and it’s because of that reason many people in the world follow diverse religious based on their various beliefs.
Despite being a Christian, I really don’t believe in the supernatural or spiritual stuff. In my opinion, all this talks and beliefs about an invisible force and supernatural element is just nothing but bullshit fabrications made up just to scare people but just like most unbelievers the day came when I was forced to see and accept the truth.
Being a detective, I’ve seen quite a lot of bad and awful things in my line of work and just when I thought I’ve seen worse, something happened that literally changed the course of my life as a human being.
Seeing the impossible is someone a human being can never forget in his life no matter what and what I saw the night that Ken was killed affected me in more ways than one and despite seeing those strange individual, I convinced myself that I was either mad or I was dreaming but the injuries I sustained that night and death of my partner was proof of what I just encountered that night. For 3 miserable months, I was hospitalized and as each day passed, I would envisioned what happened to me that night over and over again in my mind trying to wrap my head around it.

Let’s face it, It was impossible and totally outrageous what does individual did. This was something I see usual see in movies but now I’m seeing and experiencing it in real life. Super humans are nothing but fictions, they can’t be real. They just can’t be.
No matter how I tried to find an explanation to what I just encountered, my head would just scramble and I would end up feeling angry and having an immense headache. What pained me the most was the death of Ken, seeing his handsome face smashed like tomato on the cold street scarred my mind more than any other unfortunate incident I’ve seen. Ken was a good guy, he might be a womanizer but he’s a good guy and he didn’t deserve to die the way he did.
Though I missed his funeral, I went to see his mother after I was discharged from the hospital and as I saw the poor woman, she was distraught by her son’s death. She cried profusely as she showed me pictures of her son’s funeral, I couldn’t help but cry as well. It was too painful to lose someone this special, someone that you’ve had good times with. In the end, all I could do was console the woman and swear that I would stop at nothing until I brought her son’s killer to justice.

A couple of days after my visit to Ken’s mom, I filed in a report on what I witnessed that night but the response I got was obvious and expected. I was ridiculed by my fellow officers and my superior. When they read my report, they thought that I had gone crazy cause my report was about super humans. I should have been angry with them but I wasn’t besides I don’t blame them cause I would acted the same way they did if I was in their shoes.
Before things could get any awkward and weird, I was sent on a month’s leave to relax and calm myself down but instead of resting, I dedicated my time and resources to finding those strange individuals. Day and night I would go out and hang around Ajegunle trying to find clues about those strange individuals, It was hærd and frustrating but my determination kept me going and finally I found them.
My first thought was to kill these guys as soon as I made contact with them. There was no need for me to apprehend them cause it would be the death of me but I soon realized that my plan was easier said than done.

Encountering these individuals for the second time came with another surprise and I learnt a lot . It seems that these individuals were in some kind of secret org-nization and they were recruiting others like them but things wasn’t going smooth for them. What seemed to blow my mind away was the incident that happened before me. The stranger that stood before me was shot in the head, he should have died on the s₱0t but not only did he survive but the h0le in his head was gone.
It just doesn’t make sense, everyone knows that if you’re shot in the head, you’re automatically dead but this guy survived and the h0le in his head healed back. Even though I was present when I saw all this, I still couldn’t believe it.
After that, I had no idea what happened next. All I knew was that I was knocked out by some powerful force and afterwards I found myself in a messy rubble but thankfully I was okay.
Immediately I woke up and looked around the place I was in, I saw imminent destruction. What shocked me even more was that this was the same street that I stood on moments ago. Before I could leave the place, the police, media and medical personnel showed up at the scene and saw me in the middle of the mess.

Later that night , here I was in my superior’s office trying to explain what happened at the street I was found on. I hesitated and kept quiet at first but as my superior officer insisted, I decided to lay it all out to him.

Adewale ➡ Lola! you’ve been quiet since we found you at that ruined street and from the look in your eyes you saw something. Now, I wouldn’t force you to say anything if the incident was minor but considering the devastating situation of this incident, I demand you to tell me what you know.

Lola ➡ 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Adewale ➡ LOLA!!
.

Lola ➡ Yes sir.
.

Adewale ➡ Talk.
.

Lola ➡ (sighs).. This is going to sound crazy but it’s the truth and nothing but the truth. I was confronted by some super enhanced individual.

Adewale ➡ I beg your pardon??

Lola ➡ I said I was attacked by super enhanced individuals with special abilities. I nearly lost my life.

Adewale ➡ NO!!! What you’ve lost is your senses! Super humans? Seriously Lola, I expected more from you.

Lola ➡ But sir it’s the truth..
.

Adewale ➡ ENOUGH!!! I gave you a month off to relax, mourn and get over the death of Ken but it seems that his demise has done a lot damage to you.

Lola ➡ SIR, I’m not crazy! Those freaks killed Ken.. I saw the wh0le thing.

Adewale ➡ IS THAT SO? Tell me then, how was an entire street destroyed with you still standing alive? HOW??
.

Lola ➡ I don’t know but I’m telling you sir I was attacked by this super humans.. You have to believe me.

Adewale ➡ Even if I was to believe your little outrageous story, what makes you think that the media listen to me if I told them huh? Do you have any idea how ridiculous it will sound? Not only are we going to be laughed at but we will be ridiculed by our fellow officers around the country and if we aren’t lucky enough, we would lose our JOBS!
Enough is enough, the reason why I haven’t fired you is because of your service and accomplishments. You’re too good to be treated like trash but you’re starting to act like one. I’m going to send you on another month’s leave and this time I really want you to think things over and get rid of whatever mental nonsense that is eating up your head and if I see you messing around again or talking about super humans.. I’ll have no choice but to send you packing. Am I making myself clear?

Adewale ➡ Good, now you can go.

2 weeks passed after that embarrassing night with my superior officer. Despite his warnings, I refused to be quiet about this. I was certain of what I was dealing with and I knew that I was going to have to fight this battle on my own. My mind was clear and I had no doubt, I knew who my enemy was and they’re definitely not a fantasy.
As days went by, I dedicated my time in browsing the internet searching about facts about super humans, I even had to read some essays and historical notes about men and women of great power. I couldn’t get much though but I got a little info from different religious and historical texts. There were so many different verses about individuals with special abilities, all from different era and ages. It’s true that some myths and legends are just fabrications but there are some that are very true. After reading the texts, I decided to browse some videos and I found some interesting cl¡ps. This cl¡ps were mostly recorded with camcorders and it showed some people displaying all manners of wonders and nearly impossible feats. There was even one that was uploaded 10 years ago about some university students displaying rather strange abilities. Out of the cl¡ps this particular one caught my attention but before I could finish watching it all, the video disappeared instantly from my phone, I tried to access it again but the video was erased from the web completely.
I was frustrated and shocked caused there was something odd about this. It was as if someone doesn’t want me to watch this video so that’s why it was erased.
In that moment, I began to cry so much thinking about the twisted path my life was going through. It’s really hærd to accept the harsh facts of reality knowing that no matter what I did, there was nobody that was going to take me serious, I was trapped in this struggle of mine and it was tearing me apart mentally and physically but at that moment, I noticed a sign that altered the difficult fate I was in.
Just as I was about to switch off my data, I noticed an Ad on my phone and the contents of the Ad caught my attention. I quickly tapped on the Ad to get more info about it and within seconds everything was displayed before me.
The Ad that I saw was about a private investigation agency known as N.O.V.A and their job was to solve mysterious cases that seems rather unnatural to people. At first I thought this was one of those lame Ads but as I saw the word *unnatural*, I decided to check out the Ad.
This isn’t the first time I’ve heard about the this NOVA agency, Ken and I used to make jokes about the org-nization saying that it was nothing but a waste of time. Private investigators are a thing of the past, no reasonable person would waste his money and time to be hiring some private detective to solve his case cause most of this people are nothing but thieves. I’d never thought the day would come that I would contact this agency but I was desperate here and my sanity was on the verge of collapse.
As soon as I saw the contact list, I copied the number and dialed it on my phone. My heart was beating really fast as the phone kept ringing and ringing. Just when I thought I was wasting my time and credit, my call was finally answered.

Samson (Cyber 0) ➡ Good evening, how may I help you?

Lola ➡ Is this the Nova agency?
.

Samson ➡ Yes of course.
.

Lola ➡ Okay Uhm… I’d like to report a case.
.

Samson ➡ I see. What kind of case?
.

Lola ➡ It’s a little bit complicated.
.

Samson ➡ Well, if you don’t mind, how about coming over to the agency so that you may received proper attention about your case.

Lola ➡ Uhm where is the agency located?.
.

Samson ➡ I’ll send you the address.
.

Lola ➡ Thank you. I’ll drop by tomorrow.

Samson ➡ Sure, the agency will be expecting your arrival.

👻 SONNY 👻

For the first time in my life, I’ve been presented with a decision that could change my life forever but the funny thing is, I’m trapped and I don’t know what to do.
After witnessing that unexpected incident weeks ago, I wasn’t myself at all. Throughout those weeks I’ve been thinking very hærd about what I just went through that night. If I wasn’t a freak myself I wouldn’t have believed what I saw.
My long prayer has been answered and I know who I am and I know that I’m not the only strange person out there but what I couldn’t get off my mind was the fact there was something going on that I don’t know about.
The first extraordinary guys that approached me seem like bad guys and it was obvious that they needed me for something else but the second extraordinary guy I met was nice and polite and he said some compelling things that really got me thinking. I don’t want to be caught up in some kind of tangle I have no hand in, all I’m interested in is to know my place in this world and I think I know just where to get that answer.
One particular evening as I was sitting in bedroom, I brought out my phone and the complimentary card I collected from that nice stranger and dialed the number on it. It wasn’t long before my call was answered.

Sonny ➡ Uhm hello.. My name is Sonny and I’m the guy that..

Kabir ➡ I know. I had a feeling that you’d call.. What took you so long?

Sonny ➡ Uhm.. I was just thinking things over.
.

Kabir ➡ That’s good. So have you made your decision?

Sonny ➡ If I hadn’t I wouldn’t have called.

Kabir ➡ Good. Meet me tomorrow morning in front of Shoprite.

Sonny ➡ By what time?
.

Kabir ➡ 11:00am. Don’t be late.
