Have you seen the stress and damages you’ve caused? What if any of us loss our lives in the process? What if Andrea didn’t tell us where you were taken to? Natasha checked her time to see it was past 8, ” yea but it will be difficult to get a cab, she replied. “That’s no problem, I’m coming with my car, please text your address for me ok, Clara said and hung up. ” I’ll drive you down there, Joe said. “Thanks, Clara replied smiling watching Jay and Andrea winking at themselves.
Rose spent the day with Linda, helping her to do her stuffs, suddenly Linda felt dizzy and leaned on the wall breathing then rose rushed to her, ” hey what’s wrong? She asked holding her. “I’m weak, she kept repeating, rose stood confused and ran to get her a cup of water but it was no use. ” hey what will I do now? Should I take you to the hospital? Rose asked. “That means I’ll forever starve, she replied and she brought out her phone and called Clara. Clara was on the way to Natasha place with Joe when her phone began to ring, “my God! She exclaimed and ended the call then called her back, ” hello bby sorry I’ve not been calling, Clara quickly said. “Not that anuty, it’s my pregnant friend, she’s dizzy and breathing fast I don’t know what to do, Rose said. ” where’s her parents? Clara asked. “Ermmm she was picked on their doorpost and they abandoned her when they found out she was pregnant, she doesn’t know her parents. Please what can I give to her? She asked and Joe smiled, “oh he can hear me? She said and Clara burst out laughing.” i’m not deaf and dumb ok, Joe replied. “Oh that’s lovely then, she said. ” what happened Clara? Why did Nora take over everything? Natasha asked and Clara narrated everything to her, “oh is that it? What should I do now? Natasha asked. ” we need an in,sider in the company to tell us everything about Clem. I know if Clem meets Clara he’s going to be weak you know, Joe said and Natasha nodded, “I see, then you have no problem at all, she said smiling. ” oh thanks dear friend, Clara said hugging her, “you’re welcome, I’ll keep you updated every second, she said. ” we’re grateful, we’ll take our leave now, Joe said. “Like seriously, I thought you’ll stay a little, Natasha said and Clara laughed, ” I’ll be coming ok, it’s late, she replied. “Yea that’s true, let’s go, she said and esc-rted them to the car.
“Take this, I hope it gives you strength, Rose said raising her up from the mat where she laid then she saw a birthmark on her shoulder close to her armpit, “you have a birthmark? Rose asked her as she finished drinking, ” yea why? Linda asked. “Nothing, I’m just seeing it, she replied watching Linda closely. “Thank you Rose, you’ve really changed and you don’t want to tell me the secret why? She asked and Rose smiled. “No secret girl, just that after you found out you were pregnant, I decided to visit my parents. I’m not close to them anyway but a anuty I just called now for help, any time I’m with her I’m always a new person, she replied. ” so is she married? Linda asked. “Yea she was and had a daughter but she was kidnapped from her and another woman has taken over her husband. She’s my mum close friend, she replied. ” oh so bad, will she still see her daughter? Linda asked. “That’s whst I don’t know, oya rest I’ll take care of the rest ok, Rose said and left her leaving Linda smiling.

That night Nora was thinking so bad, “this people will strike and I’m more vulnerable than ever if they will strike, no I must act fast, she said and called Francis. Francis who was still mourning his men ignored her calls severally, then she texted him, ” I’m sorry bby, I understand you’re hurt. We need a more stronger team now you know before they will attack, she sighed and sent it. “Shouldn’t you be sleeping by this time? She heard a voice behind her and turned to see Clement behind her, ” ermmm I’m not sleepy, she said. “Where is Andrea? He asked. ” I don’t know, I’ve been calling her line but is not reachable, she replied. “Did you tell me about it? He asked. ” Andrea can take care of herself, Can I ask for a favour? She asked touching his chest,” no please, your favour is always difficult, he said. “I want to leave this country, she said and Clem looked at her and slowly removed her hands from his chest, hissed and left her to the room.
The next morning Natasha went to work as Usual, not too long Pius walked in with his wife, ” welcome sir, welcome ma, she greeted. “Yea good morning, is Clem in? Pius asked. ” he’s not in yet, she replied. “Ok let me call him, he said and dialled his number, ” heyyyy someone is in town, Clem cheered at him. “Im right In your company oo don’t keep me waiting, Pius said. ” I’m on my way, he said and ended the call. “Please have your seat, she said waving them to a seat, ” thanks, they replied. “Seems i know you, Pius wife said to Natasha. ” really ma, where? She asked. “Are you not Clara friend? She asked and Natasha nodded. ” have you heard from her? It’s been long I’ve seen her, she said. “Ma even her husband doesn’t know where she is, I think you have to ask him yourself, Natasha replied and she saw one of Nora men looking at her, she ignored him and concentrated with what she was doing. Soon Clem arrived and they hugged themselves shouting happily as he led them to his office, ” how is the family? Pius asked.
“They are all fine, and yours? Clem replied. ” as you can see we are all fine, why I’m I seeing strange and strong faces around? The company looks scary, Pius said. “Anyway Nora put them there, I don’t know her problem at all. What can I offer you? Clem asked. ” nothing, have you heard from Clara since then? Is she still alive? Christabel asked and Clem mood suddenly changed. He stood up slowly pacing around as they watched him waiting for reply “Clem I will still say you did the most foolish thing ever, so you didn’t look for Clara? Remember she’s still your wife, Pius said and Clem looked at him with his eyes red, ” you think I didn’t look for her? You think I just relaxed? He asked. “Your best was not enough sorry to say, you shouldn’t have even left the country and stayed for so many years when you know someone is missing, Christabel came in. ” honey calm down, Pius said touching her laps and Clem looked weak, “guy we are close pals you shouldn’t be embarrassed, we love you that’s why are are rebuking you. Tell me are you happy in your marriage? Pius asked and Clem sat down covering his head. ” I pray I should see Clara, she was the only woman who made my life complete. God knows I still love her and never stopped loving her. Whatever happened years ago I can’t explain what came over me, but if she’s still alive I won’t think twice taking her back if she will forgive me, Clem said as tears ran down his cheeks, “it’s ok bro, I’m not here to bring back bad memories please, Pius said trying to shift the matter aside.
” ma who is Clara? I heard the secretary discussing with a man I don’t know, one of Nora men called on phone. At the mention of Clara, Nora heart began to beat, “follow her and don’t let her leave your sight ok! She shouted. ” yes ma, he said and hung up. “Shit! Nora shouted throwing things in the house, ” I’ll kill you all one by one, she shouted at no one. She took her phone and dialled Francis number, “I know where they are, he said immediately he picked up. ” like seriously? She asked her mind cooled down immediately. “Yes, I used Andrea and jay number in tracing thier whereabout, and they are in the same location, Francis said. ” ohhh that’s good news, I think Clara is with them too and I’m suspecting my husband secretary is aware of that, Nora Said to him. “That’s none of my business, my business is all about Jay and those bastard who had the guts to clear my men the way they did, I’ll give them a surprise visit and this time they will feel my wrath, he said and ended the call. ” well I think I’ll face Natasha and Clara by myself, she thought to herself.
Pius and Christabel later left the office, “beauty we are going, Pius said to Natasha. ” oh bye sir, byeee, she waved to them smiling. She closed her book and left to Clem office, “good morning sir, she greeted showing her head a little by the door, ” yea come in, Clem said to her. “Ermmm sir, you have an appointment with someone by 11a.m, she said. ” oh yea I remember that, thank you very much. “You’re welcome sir, are you meeting him at the venue arranged? She asked. ” yea why? He asked. “Nothing sir, ok bye, she said and left the office. She texted Clara, ” he’ll be meeting with a client by 11a.m at….. Be sure you’re there to give him a surprise girl, she smiled and sent it returning back to her seat.
