IVY

I sleeping when my deep slumber was broken by a melodious tune.

My eyes flickered opened recognizing the voice.

I gradually sat up and looked at him as he was playing guitar sitting on the sofa across me with his head low and eyes closed.

He didn’t have the audacity to speak all these to me so he took the support of music and let his emotions flow with the lyrics.

His voice broke at the end while his fingers stopped playing the guitar.

“Frederick…” I called upon him with a teary voice.

He quickly wiped his tears and stood up placing the guitar on the side.

“I don’t want a divorce” This was all I could say with the lump forming in my throat.

A smile erupted on his l-ips and instead of answering me he held his arms out in air.

I smiled and ran in his arms hugging him tightly.

“I love you..” Frederick pulled me tightly to him as if his life depends on my little frame.

“I love you more!!!” I planted a k-ss on his chest and whispered.

Moments passed with us murmuring our hearts to each other.

Just then we heard music.

We turned around and saw Ronald singing and playing guitar while smiling.

” Why did you guys stop? Come on he is just giving background music, you know just like rom-ntic movies!!” Micheal said coming in pushing Frederick towards me.

Frederick smiled and took my hand and swirl me around.

We were engrossed in each other when Aaron burst a popper over us making us bath in disco and ribbons making the moments more memorable.

“Happy reunion”

Just then Frederick mother and Samantha came in along with my mother and nanny and they all yelled together.

Samantha placed the cake she brought on the table and handed the knife to me.

My heart was dancing in joy.

This was not the consequence I thought of my idiotic stunt.

A heartwarming smile made it’s way to my l-ips when my eyes landed on the words written on the cake.

“Our Beloved Fredvy❤”

Come on cut it now” ronald said throwing Frederick’s guitar aside.

“Excuse me?” Frederick raised a brow at Ronald and then looked at his guitar.

“Oh I am sorry” ronald scratched the back of his neck innocently and picked his guitar and placed it on the sofa humanly ignoring the daggers Frederick was throwing at him.

“I am starving man”
Aaron whined and finally Frederick held my hand which was holding the knife and cut the cake.

“Yeyyyyyy!!!!!” They all shouted in joy.

Frederick took a piece of cake and feed me and then I feed him.

Samantha started making pieces for everyone.

Frederick took the moment and peckedmy l-ips.

“There was cream on your l-ips…!” He smiled innocently when I eyed him with shock.

“Well, I missed the softness of your l-ips against mine” He winked at me while I slapped his arm smiling shyly.

“Behave Ronald, Don’t pretend as if you are eating cake for once in your wh0le life” Samantha voice brought us back to the world.

“Dont shout at my brother” I said giving my piece to Ronald who made a puppy face.

” So finally our brother’s sister is back” Frederick murmured making faces.

Aaron and Michael burst into laughter.

Aaron took his hand in air to give a HiFive to Michael who kept on laughing with his eyes closed.

“I saw it already!!” Samantha whispered at Aaron’s back getting his attention.

Aaron turned around just to roll his eyes at her and turn his back again to her.

Samantha suppressed a laugh at his idiotic act.

” You know what Michael, You are damn useless” aaron said making faces.

“Why??” Micheal asked.

“Because..”

“No Aaron. He is not useless. His one kidney can bring me an iPhone” Ronald said excitedly.

Michael’s jaw dropped to the ground while all of us burst into laughter.

Once again my heart is filled with love and satisfaction.

A week passed with us smiling.

It was a gloomy Sunday when I and Frederick were sitting on the bench or more sitting in each other’s lap.

Frederick was engrossed in the beauty of the weather when I stood up.

“Where to?” Frederick pulled me back to his chest.

“in,side”

” Why?”

“Come on, What Why? We have been sitting here for over an hour. I am tired now” I whined.

“Just look at the weather my lady and you will forget everything”

“Aren’t you tired?”

“Why would I be when I have such beauty laying in my arms” He winked at me.

I smiled and again sat with my head on his chest.

Moments passed in silence with us sitting closer to each other.

Chapter 87

Semi Final

FREDERICK

“Listen..” Ivy said while playing with the buttons of my shirt.

I hummed while stroking her hair.

“You never praise me” ivy said sitting straight.

“What?” I shouted in shock that now what had happened to her.

” Yes. Just look at eva and Leo on just small things.” Ivy said folding her arms on her chest.

“What had happened to her now..” I murmured.

“What did you just say?” She raised a brow at me.

“Nothing..” I said quickly.

” You all men are same. None of you care about their wife. All you care about is yourselves.” She started blabbering.

” But previously you were praising Leo..” I raised a brow.

“Aa.. yeah he is different..!!” Ivy said looking here and there.

“Atlea..”

“Just don’t talk to me” she interuppted me and sat there with a swollen face.

I shoke my head in disbelief.

Ivy was looking at sky when I snuggled my head in her neck.

” You have becayme the house of my dreams. What should I say in your admiration? You are angel sent to me”

Ivy’s l-ips curled into a heartwarming smile at my little yet beautiful confession.

“I love you” She turned and k-ssed my cheek and without giving me a chance to speak she ran in,side.

I suppressed a laugh looking at her back.

Just then my phone rang.

My smile faded looking at caller I’d.

“Hello doctor!!” I put the receiver on.

“Hello Mr. Frederick, I have a good news for you”

“What?” I stood up.

“I went through the reports of your wife again and congratulations because she can be a mother again. There will be some complications but yes she can have her own baby!!” The doctor said with a smile.

“Is it true??” I asked with happy tears in my eyes.

” Yes”

“Thank you” I hung up.

After three months

I was picking Fredrick’s clothes which were scattered all over bed.

“This idiot only knows how to make the room a mess…..” My words died on my l-ips when I felt my head pinning and my vision got blurry.

“Careful ivy” samantha ran towards me and made me sit.

“What happened to you? Aren’t you Well?” I asked giving her water.

“I don’t know samantha. I have been vomiting since the last 4 days and having this brutal headache.” I whined.

“What did you just say?”

“I was..” I left my sentence in mid and ran towards the washroom.

“What…”

“What did the doctor say samantha?” I asked Samantha sitting back in the car.

We came to hospital on samantha’s demand.

“Nothing!! It’s just weakness!!” She smiled.

“Look I already told you. I am all okay!”

“Yeah yeah whatever!!” Samantha said and ignited the engine.

It was eight in the evening when we reached home. I was feeling too sleepy so I went to bed without thinking about anything.

There was complete silence in room when I sat up stretching my arms out.

My eyes landed on the wall clock which was signalling one in the morning.

“Ohh ”

I quickly stood up and ran downstairs but what surprised me the most was the darkness in the wh0le house.

“Where did everyone go?”

“Samantha??”

“Mother??”

“Ronald???”

“Micheal???”

“Aaron???”

“Frederick??”

I called upon everyone one by one.

Just then lights switched on and left me shocked.

There were pink and blue balloons all around.

Walls were decorated with pink and blue ribbons.

There were small cards attached to air ballons which were hanging on sofas.

“Congratulations mommy to be”

I turned around where everyone were standing and shouting.

I looked at him with half shock and half excitement.

” What??” I asked

“Yes!!” Frederick came towards me and showed me the band he was wearing on his wrist.

“Daddy to be” I murmured the words written on the band.

“Frederick!” I murmured with teary eyes and smiling l-ips.

” Yes my love. We have been blessed with what we were grieving on” he knelt in front of me and tied the band around my wrist.

“I love you Frederick!!” I cried and hugged him.

After that everyone came one by one and handed us many many gifts.

“We will be together till death do us apart!” I said smiling.

” No, We will be together even in death” Frederick said and joined our foreheads.

“Are you happy?” I asked.

“How can I be unhappy when I have you beside me?My cutipie” He bite on my cheek and k-ssed it while I laughed.

“We are still here” Ronald cleared his throat.

” Who asked you to be? Go to your room” Frederick said and Ronald’s mouth hung opened while others laughed.

“I want a baby Ivy”
Micheal ignored us and hugged me.

“Me too!!”

“Me too!!” One by one they all yelled.

“Look no one wants you” Ronald burst into laughter pointing at Frederick who just rolled his eyes.

After chatting and enjoying for quite sometime, mother asked them to let go of me so I can rest.

” You know what Ivy?” Frederick said taking me in his lap.

We are sitting on our bed now.

“What?”

“I am proud to be..”

“To be?”

“Ivy’s husband ” He smiled and slammed his l-ips onto mine.

I smiled too wh0leheartedly pouring all my emotions in the k-ss.
