Benjamin’s residence…
The dinning table is silent as everyone is focused on their food.. well, Claudia wasn’t focused on her food.
Ever since Nicklaus called and informed her they’ll be going to work together, she’s been checking her wrist watch at every given opportunity… she’s impatiently waiting for him.
“Claudia, stop checking your watch and eat first” her grandma said.
Claudia ignored her, she picked her phone and types on it…then she came across the news of Anastasia’s death.
An evil smirk appeared on her face, she quickly dialed her father’s number.. she waited for a few minutes before he picked up.
“Claudia” he spoke.
“Da….”
She cut herself off when she remembered where she is, her mom is staring at her with a frown…her grandma isn’t staring at her but there’s a small frown on her forehead.
“Did you see the news?” She asked.
“The news of Anastasia’s death?” He asked.
Claudia nodded her head quickly.
“Yes, yes!” She replied.
“I saw it, but I don’t believe it… Confirm it with Nicklaus when you see him today!”
“Ok….”
“One more thing!” He cuts her off. “I heard you were drunk last night… Don’t let that repeat itself again, you need to stay sober on this mission at all time!”
“Yes, sir!”
“Good, don’t ruin my plan!” With that he hanged up.
Claudia goes through the news again and smiled, she took a deep breath… even if her dad is right, that Anastasia isn’t dead… but reading this news just gave her some sense of happiness.
“Who was that you just spoke with on the phone?” Her mother asked.
“It’s none of your business!” Claudia replied.
Her mother scoffed.
“You think I don’t know what you’ve been up to recently?” Her mother asked but Claudia ignored her.
She stared at Claudia for a few moments, then shake her head.
“I have been keeping quiet but that doesn’t mean I’m a fool, I know your dad is not dead…”
Claudia turned to her with her eyes w¡dened in shock.
“… I also know you’ve been meeting up with him secretly, listen to me my child… ”
She studied Claudia’s expression.
“… what your father did 13years ago is what he’s trying to do again, had he listened to me then.. he wouldn’t have had to fake his death!”
“How did you know?”
“I’m his wife.. no, I was his wife, I know the body they buried isn’t Benjamin’s… ”
“But… ”
“Claudia, you’re a good girl, don’t listen to him.. Benjamin will do nothing but lead you to your doom!”
Claudia scoffed and shove some yam in her mouth.
“I don’t take orders from you!”
“I’m not ordering you, my child.. I’m advising you. Think about it, Benjamin’s plan failed before.. what makes you think it’s gonna succeed this time?”
Claudia narrowed her eyes at her mother.
“Our plan is already a success.. don’t jinx it!”
Just then, they heard a car honking outside.. Claudia smiled and snatched her bag from the table.
“My ride is here!” She said and rushed out.
Her mother watched her until she’s out the door, then she turned to Claudia’s grandmother.
“Mom, why didn’t you say anything to her?”
“Alice, I’m old, I don’t have the strength to argue with Claudia…she won’t listen to us, no matter how much we try to persuade her.. Benjamin has brainwashed her!”
Claudia’s mother shake her head. “What a pity!”

“Hii” Claudia waved at Nicklaus when she stepped out of the house.
Nicklaus was leaning against his car, his hands tucked in his pocket.
“I thought you were kidding about us going to work together!” She said when she’s closer to him.
Nicklaus didn’t reply her, he simply opened the door and wait for her to get in.
Claudia slides in and Nicklaus got in after her, she turned to face him with a smile.
“Nicky, I saw the news!” She said.
“Graham, drive!” He said to Graham, before facing her. “What news?”
“About Anastasia’s death” she replied.
Nicklaus frowned and pretend to be surprised.
“She’s dead?”
“Yeah, I saw it this morning”
“It’s her loss then!” He replied simply.
“Aren’t you a little sad?” Claudia asked.
Nicklaus paused and think about it, he took a deep breath and grab Claudia’s hands.
“Claudia I don’t care about her. Yeah, I was bewitched by her and I kinda neglected you…but now that I’ve come back to my senses..I can’t wait for us to get married and spend the rest of our lives together!”
“Really?!” She asked in a happy tone.
Nicklaus nod.
“I really can’t wait, you’ve always been the one for me, I was just blind momentarily and didn’t see you…if it’s possible, I’d love to marry you tomorrow…I can’t wait!”
Claudia’s face glow as she grin, she’s grin from ear to ear.
“I was imagining how our kids would be like…who they’ll take after..you or me?”
“Don’t worry, Nicky, I’m also eager to get married to you… I’ll make sure we get married as soon as possible”
“As soon as possible? Why can’t we get married tomorrow?”
Claudia hesitate, she chew her l-ips… although Nicklaus knows what’s holding Claudia, he still wanna hear it from her.
“Someone very important needs to attend our wedding, it’s my…..” She trailed off.
Nicklaus smirked.
“Ok…but don’t keep me waiting for too long”
She nod.
“Right… before our wedding, I have a doc-ment we’ll both sign”
“A doc-ment?”
“Yeah, you’ll see it when we get to the office!”
“Ok”

Anastasia’s pov 👠
Ding! Ding!
Jerry rushed to get the door, since I’m dead to the world…I can’t show myself to just anyone.
“It’s Miss Spears!” Jerry told me.
Miss Spears? Oh, it’s Matilda!
I smiled. “Quickly, let her in!”
He opened the door and Matilda walked in, she held a small box in her hand…she sat next to me on the sofa.
“Howdy, kiddo?” She asked.
I rolled my eyes.
“You’re only older than me by just 2 months, stop calling me kiddo as if you’re my grandma!”
“Oh, I can be your grandma”
I sighed, I simply can’t argue with her..I’m not in the mood for any argument.
“I thought you’d be at work by this time, what are you doing here?” I asked.
“Well, your Romeo didn’t want you to die of boredom…so, he sent me here to play with you!” She replied.
I throw my head back on the sofa and closed my eyes.
“So… I’d have suggest we go to a karaoke dokie..but you’re dead…”
I glared at her for calling me dead, she chuckled and raised her hands in surrender.
“…I mean, Anastasia Lopez is dead!”
“Much better!”
“Now, we’re gonna say goodbye to Anastasia Lopez and welcome Nina Lopez!”
She opened the small box and I saw all her makeup tools in,side…I gro-n mentally.
“We’re gonna have our karaoke dokie here… we’re gonna sing and dance to our hearts content today!” She said.
“Just tell me you wanna torture my face”
She replied me with an evil laugh..her laughter sounded just like maleficent.

Statham enterprise….
Reporters attacked Nicklaus and Claudia as they stepped out of the car… Nicklaus wrapped his arm around Claudia’s wa-ist.
*Mr Statham, last night your ex girlfriend died in an accident.. what can you say about that?*
*Now that you and Miss Benjamin are engaged, are you gonna have the wedding right away?*
Four security men came forward and blocked the reporters away from Nicklaus and Claudia.. creating space for them.
“Nicklaus, I think we should say something to these reporters or they won’t stop chasing us” Claudia said.
Nicklaus shook his head in disagreement, they walked in,side without turning to smile at the reporters.
Workers stopped working and stared at them… they all stared in confusion.
*I thought Miss Lopez would be the future Mrs Statham!*
*Didn’t you watch the news? Miss Lopez is dead*
*What?!*
*She died in a car accident last night!*
*Oh my god! That must be Miss Claudia’s fault!*
*Yeah! That gold digging bi….*
Claudia throws them a glare but didn’t stop to scold them, she held up her head and walked tall.
*Hmph! She carries herself as if she’s miss world!*
Nicklaus and Claudia stopped in front of Nicklaus’s private elevator, Graham opened the door and they both stepped in.
“Nicky, I think you should fire some staffs”
“Why?” Nicklaus asked.
The doors closed and the elevator started going up.
“All they do is nothing but gossip about in the company!”
“Hmm” Nicklaus hummed.
“Did you heard them talking bad about me? They were saying I killed Anastasia!”
“Don’t listen to them, I choose you and there’s nothing anyone can do about it”
He feel disgusted saying these words but what can he do… He must show her that he cares about her.
“Fire them! I want them out of the company!” She said.
“We can’t fire everyone simply because they talked bad about us… It’s best we ignore them”
The elevator stopped, the doors opened and they stepped out.
“I should come with you to your office, I….”
“No!” Nicklaus cut her off abruptly.
He suddenly remembered his mom and Rhoda are waiting for him in his office…he can’t explain things to them if Claudia comes with him.
“Why? Are you hiding something from me?”
“No, no, I’m not hiding anything from you… I just want to have a moment of silence!”
“But…”
“Go to your office, I’ll call you when I need you!” Nicklaus said and walked away before she would say anything else.
Claudia simply watched Nicklaus until he’s out of sight, she giggled to herself and head towards her office.

Nicklaus stood outside his office, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath… He grabbed the door handle and stepped in.
“Nicklaus Wilhelm Statham!” His mother growled his name.
He looked towards her direction and chuckled nervously.
“Mom… You’re here?”
His mother grabbed a folder from his table and throws it at him… He caught it and waved it at his mom.
“Mom, let me explain, I…”
His mother throws another folder at him, he dodged it and ran from the door… But his mother didn’t stop.
She gather all the folders in her hands and continued throwing them at Nicklaus as he runs around…. He turned to Rhoda for help.
But Rhoda sat on his chair with a deep frown.. a frown that says, you’re on your own!
“Mom, wait…”
“Shut up! Foolish boy!” She threw another folder at him.

Nicklaus’s pov 👠
After minutes of mom chasing me around my office, she sat on my chair and made me sit on the chair in front of my desk.
Rhoda stood next to me, while mom passed me a detective look… I gulped nervously cause her look is making me uncomfortable.
“Why did you break up with Anastasia?!” She asked.
I wanted to speak but her glare just made me confused…I spent 18years with my mum but I’ve never saw her as angry as she is today.
She looked like a fierce deity right now.
“Why did you announced to everyone that Claudia’s your fiancee?!” Mom asked again.
“M-mom… this is not the right place to talk about this…”
She cut me off with a bang on the table, her glare intensifies and I shrink on my chair.
“It’s not the right place? Do you think breaking up with Anastasia publicly was also right?!”
I shake my head, if only she would let me talk right now.
“Nicklaus, how could you do this to the poor girl?!”
“Mom… ”
“Shut up! Stupid boy!” Mom throw a folder at me but luckily I caught it before it could hit me.
I turned to Rhoda, but she’s not even looking my way… she’s typing on her phone.
“Mom, I didn’t actually broke up with her”
“Oh! So the reporters lied? I saw Anastasia running from the event in tears… that was fake too?!”
“You won’t understand, I can’t explain everything to you here… ”
Rhoda dropped her phone in front of me, I saw the news about Anastasia’s death.. I sighed.
“What’s that? She died in a car accident last night?” Rhoda asked.
“What?!!” Mom exclaimed loudly.
I quickly rushed to her side and m-ssaged her shoulders softly, I made sure she won’t get up from the chair.
“Mom, stay calm, I wanna whisper something in your ear” I said.
Mom didn’t move, I saw that as a cue to start speaking.
“This is all our plan to get Benjamin arrested…. ”
“Benjamin?!” She asked a little bit too loud.
“Yes, mom, bring your voice down and listen to me”
She nod, I also called Rhoda and she came closer to us… then I begin to fill them in.
“Marcus and I found out that Benjamin is still alive and he’s the one behind dad’s death”
“How? Benjamin was very good friends with your father… he’s always being supportive of him” mom said..in a whisper though.
“Yes, but that was because he wanted to get the CEO from dad”
Mom and Rhoda nod.
“He’s being secretly buying shares, he wants to come back to take the CEO from me… that’s why Mr Lopez came up with….”
“Mr Lopez?!” Mom and Rhoda said at once.. cutting me off.
I nod, they both shared a look and turned back to me with confused frowns.
“Why do I feel like this Mr Lopez sound so familiar?” mom asked.
“You know him, he’s Nina’s father”
Mom’s eyes grow wide.
“He’s alive?”
“Yes, Nina’s mom is also alive but in a coma…but don’t tell Nina about this, her father wants her to remember on her own will”
Mom hesitate for a few moments but nod anyway.
“So, Mr Lopez came up with the idea of Nina and I breaking up… it’s all just a plan, I didn’t break up with Nina, neither is she dead”
I’m really not good at explanations, this is the best I can explain… Mom and Rhoda nod but she suddenly grab my hand and pulled me forward.
She smacked the back of my head and I winced.
“Why didn’t you informed us earlier?! Does she even know about this?!”
“Yes, she knows”
Rhoda laughed but suddenly stopped as if she just recalled something..she pointed at me with her mouth slightly open.
“Mom, you held Nicklaus!” She said.
Mom let go of me and stared at her hands, then she looked at me.
“Yes, I held him… what’s going on?” She asked.
Then I remembered they don’t know I’m cured yet, I laughed lightly.
“I’m sorry, Nicklaus, I didn’t mean to hold you…oh God, you’ll get those rashes and…”
I hugged her sideways and bend slightly, resting my head on her shoulder.
“Nicklaus, you….”
“Mom, I’m cured” I said.
“Huh?”
I pulled away from the hug and rolled up my sleeves, I showed her my hands.
“Look, I’m fine”
She take my hands and examine them, a smile tug her l-ips and her eyes glistening with tears.
“You… you’re cured?”
I nod.
She showed my hands to Rhoda, Rhoda simply stared at me in astonishment.. like she couldn’t believe what she’s seeing.
“You’re cured… But how?” She wondered.
I shrug.
“I tried so many ways to get you back to normal but failed.. how did you get your cure?” She asked.
“I don’t know, I only realized I could touch other women after I met Nina!”
Precisely after Nina and I had s£x, but I’m not gonna tell them that.
“Oh my goodness! That’s great!” Mom said.
I reached forward and wiped her tears.. I don’t know why she’s crying though.
Then something crossed my mind, I turned to Rhoda.
“Rhoda, you told me Nina is pregnant.. correct?”
“Yeah”
“Then why does she keep saying she’s not pregnant?”
Rhoda laughed lightly.
“That’s because she doesn’t know, she’s new to it and it’ll be hærd for her to believe she’s actually pregnant”
Hmm, well, I guess she’s right… Then another question crossed my mind… I throw an arm around Rhoda’s shoulder and moved towards a corner, away from mom.
Mom stared at us with a frown but I didn’t mind her… This question is very important.
“Ok… are you gonna tell me what’s so secretive that we have to move away from mom?”
I cleared my throat and think of how to ask her the question…she stared at my face and frown.
“What are you blushing about?” She asked.
I touched my face. “I’m blushing?”
“Yeah.. your ears and neck are red”
Hmm… Just thinking about this question is embarrassing, how can I ask my sister such question?
Or maybe I should just forget it.
“Hmm, you’re kinda waiting my time.. I have work today and Mom need to go back home and rest”
I gulped and cleared my throat again.
“Well, I wanna ask if.. if.. you know… ” I trailed off.
“Er… I don’t know, so tell me”
Right now, I wish she can just read my mind and know what I wanna ask.
“Helloooo, Mr Statham?” She waved her hand in front of my eyes.
I blinked.
“.. I wanna ask if.. Anastasia and I can.. you know her condition, right?” She nod. “Can we… Anastasia and I still… You know…”
Rhoda suddenly burst into laughter, I turned to Mom, she’s looking at us curiously.
“I know what you wanna ask but I wanna hear you say it!”
I glared at her.
“Since you know what I wanna say, why not answer me?”
“I wanna hear you say”
I narrowed my eyes at her.
“What do you want, Rhoda?”
“Nothing, I just love how you’re feeling embarrassed right now!”
I growled lowly, clenching my fist.. her eyes move to my fist and she scoffed.
“I guess I should just leave before you punch me”
I quickly unclench my fist and closed my eyes… I sighed deeply.
“Can-Anastasia-and-I-still-have-s€×-now-that-she’s-pregnant?” I rushed out.. hoping she would get what I said and thankfully she did.
She laughed at me for a few moments, I looked away from her in embarrassment.. after laughing to her heart content, she sobered up.
“Yes, you can…in fact, she needs you now more than ever”
I turned to her, feeling kinda excited which I don’t understand why.
“Really?”
“Yes, your sp**m is the perfect drug for her in this present condition”
I frown at her and shudder…how come she doesn’t feel embarrassed talking about stuffs like this with her brother?
Oh! I forgot, she’s a doctor and I’m sure she’s seeing me as a patient right now.
“I’ve answered your question.. mom and I are leaving now!” She said and I nod.
She walked towards mom, Mom picked her bag from the table and faced me.
“Nicklaus, we’re leaving, be sure to put an end to all this soon” she said referring to Benjamin’s case.
“Yes, mom” I replied.
Then they head out.. I walked towards my chair and slumped down, I exhale slowly.
“Finally… Peace!”
But my joy’s short-lived, for my door burst open and Marcus barged into my office.
“Nicky, I just past your mom and sister… Are you ok? Did they hurt you?” He asked.
I simply glared at him, I t-rn on my computer and check my emails.
“Say something, Nicky” he urged me as he sat on the chair in front of me.
“Nicky!”.
I turned to him with narrowed eyes.
“Can’t you see I’m fine?”
“Nope, this might just be your ghost sitting here… after all, you and I both know ghost have been coming back to life recently…”
I frowned at him but he ignored my frown and continued.
“… also, a ghost is gonna attend your wedding too, Benjamin!”
“You’re a fool”
“Yeah.. I love being a fool” he replied.
I shake my head and turned back to reading my emails.. he dropped his briefcase on the table and took out some papers.
“Here” he stretched them towards me.
I took them from him and go through them.
“What are these?” I asked.
“They’re the doc-ments you asked me prepare”
I looked at him for more explanation.
“Once Claudia signs this, you’ll have access to all Benjamin’s properties and shares”
“All his properties and shares?”
“Yep! Benjamin might be a smark snake but he’s got something wrong!”
He got something wrong? I stared at Marcus, instead of him to speak.. he got up and walked towards the coffee maker in my office and made himself some coffee.
I just sat back on my chair and glared at him as he gallivant around my office.
He finished that cup of coffee and poured himself another cup.. I banged on the table when I’ve got enough of his silliness.
“Are you done with your coffee?! Can you talk now?!”
He rushed back to his chair and sat down.
“Right.. where was I?”
My frown deepens at hi comment.
“I forgot, the coffee clouded my mind and I…”
“You said Benjamin got something wrong!”
He nod.
“Right, right.. in other to make people believe he’s dead, he transferred all his properties to Claudia’s name.. right now, Claudia’s the owner of all those shares Benjamin’s secretly buying”
I nod.. indeed that’s a wrong move, I guess he didn’t expect we’d find out about his plan sooner.
“If you can get her signature on these doc-ments…which I believe will be a little bit difficult…then you’ll have everything under your control”
I scoffed.
“Don’t worry about the signature, Claudia is obsessed with me.. she’ll do everything and anything I want her to do”
After all, she’s a fool when it comes to me.
“Well, then, if you get signature getting her dad behind bars shouldn’t be hærd.. I’ll just send my boys to find his location and we’ll get him arrested”
“Hmm, that’s a good plan.. but why bother searching for him when he’ll attend his daughter’s wedding?”
Marcus thinks about it and nod in agreement.. I glance through the papers and nod.
Every terms and conditions are to my favor, if Claudia read it carefully I’m sure she won’t sign it.. I won’t let her read it.
“Alright, I should leave now… I have some work to do.. private work”
He got up and carried his briefcase.
“Don’t bother to see me off” he said.
I scoffed. “I didn’t plan on seeing you off.. shut the door behind you!”
He glared at me briefly and huffed, then stormed towards the door.. he stepped out and shut it in a very loud bang.
“Childish!” I murmured.
My eyes land on the papers in my hands and I sighed, well, let’s get Claudia’s signature… I pressed the intercom in my phone.
“Hello, Nicky?” Claudia’s voice came up.
I shudder at how my name sounded coming from her mouth…f**k! I can’t wait for this plan to succeed!
“Come to my office” I said.
“I’ll be right there!”
Hmm… I’m not good at praying and I don’t usually pray.. but right now, I’m begging God to don’t let her read it thoroughly.

Matilda and I slumped onto the nearest sofa next to us.. feeling exhausted.
We’ve been singing since Matilda came, immediately after she finished our makeup.. which made us looked like little mix!
Our audience clapped loudly and cheered.. our audience is Jerry, so don’t get wild imaginations!
“You girls did great.. you were both on fire!” He said.
“Yeah, we sang better than Alicia keys.. right?” Matilda asked.
“Of course!” Jerry replied and gave us thumbs up.
I rolled my eyes, I know he’s just flattering us. I p-nt heavily and reached for the glass of water on the table.. it’s empty.
“Jerry, please help me with some chilled water.. or sprite” I said.
“Me too” Matilda ch¡ped in.
I reached for the remote control and turned off the CD player before another song will pop up.
“That was some exercise we just did”
“Yeah, thanks to you… I’ll be sleeping like a log of wood tonight” I said.
She laughed at me, I used my fingers to brush my hair back and lick my dry l-ips.
Then something suddenly occured to me and I tap Matilda’s lap… she turned to me questioningly.
“Do you have any idea where Klaus and doctor ghost are keeping Jack?” I asked.
She nod.
“Yeah, at doctor ghost’s basement” she replied.
I smiled at her and she frowned.
“Let’s go there, I wanna speak with Jack”
“What?!”
